Ashis confusedly stared at Cress, who wasn't all too willing to give up any piece of that sweet namekian pie. Ashis opened his mouth, seemingly about to object, when the Saiyan erupted into a fiercer golden glow. He'd watch as the Saiyan's palms glowed ever brighter- a massive blast erupting outwards and toward the green world. Ashis was taken aback slightly, the sheer strength of the blast stunning him- "...yeesh" he'd mumble, leaning back slightly, before powering up himself. "Seems you're packing a bit of punch there buckaroo, but that's not gonna do much... heh- lemme help out a bit!!" Ashis bluffed. Obviously, that blast was more than able to obliterate Namek, but Ashis wasn't one to just back down- He's reel his arm back, a jagged aura enveloping it as he flexed his massive muscle. He'd let out a shriek, launching his arm forward towards the planet, and along with it, a small blast of pink energy.
His arm now resting at his side, he'd let out a confident huff- "Hah! there you go bub, now that planet's as good as toast- you're welcome" Ashis smirked, noticing that the grey jelloman had gone off with the weird white lady whilst he was prepping his 'planet-destroying attack'. Ashis then turned his attention to the rest of the people who'd gathered since he'd arrived. Lots of interesting characters- A branch girl, someone who probably copied his name, an almost balding dude with an eyepatch, and a redhead. "... Coolio" he'd mutter, floating off over to where the new group of people had gathered.
While heading over, he'd noticed how one of the "heroes" had seemingly disappeared, to which he'd grunt. "That was quick... usually these hero types are a bit more resilient" He'd wonder, now approaching Bamboo and Vuzel. The green lady was seemingly having a good time, Ashis noted. He'd silently maneuver behind bamboo, nodding his head with approval, as he was able to understand the joy that toying around with people's lives gave. He'd notice the namekian doing some stretchy business with his leg, and being a natural trickster, he very quickly understood what he was trying to accomplish. Ashis decided to help him out a tiny bit, just cause he thought it might be funny. he quickly and suddenly yelled out, hoping to serve as the namekian's distraction- "HEY BUBAROO!!! can I play with that green dog next? once you're done with him that is" he'd politely ask, watching to see what'd happen next.

Typha was calm, with the people who were here he was not worried. He could keep this planet safe with his strength. Then he sensed two more powers coming. One was massive and the other far smaller but he knew it far too well. The calmness on his face faded only a face of pure agony. Why was she here? Of all the people who came to fight. She looked quickly at Ramen as she arrived sensing the power she held. The power was over even Sensoa. Even with the Kaioken could he beat her? Typha was unsure and his confidence was shaken just a bit. But he could beat her if he had too. He had seen her fight and she didn't know about the Kaioken. The only one here that did was Ashi. Typha stared at her for a few seconds absorbing her words. "Business? Was that the same thing the machines that tore our planet apart said. For a moment I thought you were better than that." Typha closed his good eye and turned away so they could not see the tears that were forming. Why had he been so stupid to expect she would not come.
He took in the words the other had said he just let the words go into his head without a response. He was thinking and grieving. Ashi's appearance not only changes his feelings on the situation but also his tactics. Ashi knew of the Kaioken it was possible she'd reveal such information to all her foes. If that was the case then he had little chance. It meant that they could easily calculate his real battle level at any given time. When Mumbo asked him if there be any hard feelings he finally gave a response. "I apologize. Things have changed. This has become personal now." Typha said with an icy coldness. He was building in anger now. He'd wipe the tears on his face away as he felt Ashi power up an attack along with Cress. Now she had to do something stupid. He'd quickly glance to see what each of them was aiming for. Ashi was aiming for the Galactic patrolman and Cress for the planet. Typha didn't move he just stared back at the rest of Namek. He heard Ashi sword slash hit Zentry and the final words that he had. Typha fist tightened. The blast got closer to the planet. Typha, keep his stance. The blast got within inches of the planet. Typha's angry finally broke through. Typha spun around and he yelled "Konatsian ward!" A green barrier surrounded Typha as he crashed into the blast. A large explosion would erupt just above the planet as Typha was consumed by the energy.
The smoke would slowly clear as Typha stood his hand up and blood leaking from wounds that were now covering it. Typha's eye was dark his robotic eye spinning with great effort. His barrier was not enough but he had no time to waste ki like that. He could only do what he was needed to keep the planet safe. "Reasonable?" Typha finally called back to Ramen's words that had been ignoring. "Mercy?" Typha frowned. "You seem to think you know who I am? But you don't know anything. It explains why you're doing this? You lost and confused. Every time we've met you must have had your head in the ground. Anyway, I apologize for these words. I should not say such nastiness." Typha closed his good eye. "Well I'll tell you who I am and the rest of you can here too. When the machine of my home planet threatened to kill me and the rest of Konat's I could of ran. I didn't run and I lost my eye. Then I came back and stopped them. When Monster raided the lookout on Earth and he clearly had the power to swat me away I didn't run. I stood my ground to defend that holy place. When he came to this planet to kill the Guru I stood my ground again to stop him. I lost my life that day but I didn't run." Typha paused to gather himself. "I am Typha of Konats! The Man who has never run!"
"Ramen I am not the type to flee from a fight no matter the odds. I won't stop anyone here from fighting even at the cost of there lives. I won't allow any of you to destroy this planet!" Typha roared as he slammed his sword down on Namek soil. "This planet is under my protection and so long as I can fight I will defend it! And it you're truthful to your word this is business. Which means that today I only need to defeat one of you." Typha then looked at Ashi for a long moment. She gave him strength if they were enemies. It was the same courage and strength he got when learning the Kaioken. Typha turned back to look at Cress. "You hired all these people to raid and destroy Namek. You seem to think now your at some sort of advantage. You think they will protect you from me. They might try. They might bring me down but I will stop you. The moment my sword strikes you is the moment you die!" Typha walked over to Zentry picking up his ashes from the ground then he spoke quickly in his native tongue. "I am sorry I could not save you but I shall use your strength to protect this planet."
Before the fighting could start Typha also tapped his robotic eye sending messages to those he trusted most or at least could confirm something for him. "This is Typha I wanna apologize. Namek is in danger. I will do what I can to defend it. Ramen of the Saiyan kingdom has joined the Stargoons and Cress is the man leading them on this raid." He sent this message to Carro, Kayen, and Nashua. He was pretty sure all three had some sort of scouter device to get his message. Typha had finished all his preparation and pulled his sword out of the ground. "I'll repeat these words. You have one chance to leave. I am going to charge you right now Cress. If you wish to not end up dead. Call off your men and I shall let you all leave unharmed regardless of your current crimes." Typha then kicked off the ground. He'd fly straight at Cress his sword ready to slash down the Saiyan but he knew that he'd be stopped. His minions were going to get in the way and that was ok. He'd all force them in a single area which was preferred then them all spaced out.
N1: Konstian Ward
Description: Typha raises his arm and forms a green energy barrier around himself. Through some proper Ki Manipulation, you've gained the ability to summon a barrier made of Ki! Protects you with power equal to 33% of your current PL. If an opposing technique beats your barrier, and the Barrier user is within 65% of the attack's PL, the damage is halved. (IE: If a Ki Barrier had 2,000 PL, and was broken by a 3,000 PL attack, the bleed-through damage would be 500 PL instead of 1,000). If the Barrier user is lower than 65% of the incoming attack, the damage reduction is only 25%.
Powerlevel:1043460
1043460/1,705,440=61 percent so only 25 percent damage reduction.
1,705,440 minus 1043460=661980
661980x0.75= 496485 (Total Damage Percent: 496485/3,162,000=15.7 Percent Damage Taken.

|Retaliatory Strike| - Bamboo's PL: 2,754,000/2,142,000
Fun! This day just kept getting better. First, she'd found herself a new pet, and now her teacher showed up! And Ashi showed up, too! Then she killed a guy. Sad times, these were...
Her mood was only (arguably) dampened for a moment before she sent an enthusiastic wave at her two arriving comrades. Blowing up a planet was more fun with friends, after all!
She idly watched the chaos unfold, taking in the scenery with her new 'friend.' "Isn't fighting just great, little guy? Oh-" Who was tapping on her shoulder? This red guy? "Hey, no, he's mine! Oh-" Was that a pinch on her hand?
She wipped her head back around only to find the small man with an unhinged jaw biting on her hand. Wow! That was... impressive? Funny. It was impressively funny. She snorted. "Silly you. I don't think you understand your place, little green guy!" She shook him again, her grip not budging... until it did, and the boy dropped to the ground. "I'll give you that one as a freebie, though!" Wink.
As if to further broadcast her superiority, her arm stretched over to grip Vuzel's head, turning it towards Typha. "Yeah, don't ask, it's something I could always do... anyways." She cleared her throat. She pointed at the scene as it unfolded- the brave warrior telling the world how strong he was, how the planet was under his protection, how he wouldn't let anyone die! Then, the blast towards the planet, shattered! Stopped in it's tracks. A true hero, by most metrics. She sauntered towards the Namekian, painstakingly slowly, flashing her overwhelming power in comparison to the warrior's. "Do you think you look like him, right now? Is that what you think you're doing here?"
She shook her head and sighed, almost like a father at a disobedient child. "Little guy, I read in a book once that there's something called a food chain. Do ya' know what that is?" Power sparked in the palm of her demonic hand, the unstable purple-and-green lightning arcing from her palm. "Plants get eaten by weak animals. Weak animals get eaten by less weak animals. Less weak animals eat even less weak animals." She let out a snort of a laugh, raising her free palm as she stalked towards the boy. "I want you to take a guess where you stand, right now." The power at her side only grew stronger and stronger, ramping itself ever upward.
"You think if you can get over there, you can help out? Well, you know what! Why not!" Her arm gripping Vuzel's skull released it's grip and snapped back into place. "Go ahead. Try your best."
She raised her pitch-black arm, the energies residing within reaching their peak. She fired the orb upwards into the sky. The unstable orb of power began to take shape- a purple-and-green swirled lion with a star for a mane. Its beady eyes shone with green power, its fangs were shining, bared. It grew larger... and larger... but it couldn't grow forever. With a close of Bamboo's hand, it roared, shaking the earth, the sky, the clouds, everything.
"Shining Beast Fang."
Then, it exploded.
The wave of force flattened the earth around them. The lion split itself, over and over- the smaller lions snarled and gnashed their teeth as they flew through the air, making their way towards two targets.
One was Typha, the proven hero.
The other was Namek, straight below.
She sure hoped that little guy could find somewhere to help out!
[SIG] Shining Beast Fang used! 1,831,410 PL coming at both Typha and Namek! If the attack hits, it drains 1 KP. 100% + Half and Half + Force + Ki cripple Attempting to destroy Namek! KP: 4/7

ACTIVE TRANSFORMATIONS: Luminary Blaze (x12P) |
Wow, that had gone pretty well. Ashi's strike had gone flying unopposed, and ended up bashing straight into the smug little animal thing. He gave Ashi one final rude comment before the blast shattered him into oblivion, with a sprinkle of ashes on the ground being all that remained of his physical form. "Tell that big, fat ogre I said 'hello'," she mused, though unfortunately she'd only thought to request that after he'd been sent off to his judgment. Hopefully the sentiment would still be there, though. That, and she felt like it was kind of a cool line to say after her first kill. Surprisingly, she didn't feel... Much. It was kind of hard to get too up in arms about death after you'd seen that most of what happened afterwards was just chilling with all the other dead people. No such thing as 'eternal torment' like some religions had people believing. That hedgehog would probably be happier on the other side, if anything.
She then turned her head towards Typha, and frowned. "No, I'm pretty sure they just said, like..." she paused for a moment, and then jutted her jaw and face to vaguely resemble some kind of bad action figure of a robot, and then said, "EXTERMINATE. EXTERMINATE. EXTERMINATE," in a faux robotic voice. She was hoping that'd at least get a small laugh from somebody, although everyone else seemed to be in serious mode, so Ashi sighed, and then shrugged. "Look, you and I have both been over that rainbow, haven't we?" she further asked Typha, now in a more serious tone of voice herself. "We both know that dying isn't actually all that horrible. After you die, you just kind of get to chill. You don't have to worry about taxes, or finding a job, or getting sick or hurt, anything like that. And I'm not saying I'm not grateful that you brought me and all my friends back - just, you know, what's so bad about it?"
Either way, Typha was already pissed. And Ashi had seen just how crazy powerful he could get - if anyone here got into a one on one fight with him, he'd just about mop the floor with them. Well, except maybe that redhead chick. She was as crazy strong as Typha was at max power, but apparently all the time. Ashi could only hope she'd have strength that potent someday. "Hey guys," she decided to say, "Word of warning - He can only do it for a few minutes at max, but Typha learned some advanced technique in the Afterlife that makes his power level skyrocket - he's about as strong as you when he's like that, Red." Ashi just realized she had no idea what the redhead's name was. She didn't know her own team particularly well, did she? They should all get together for a drink after this. Though, not at any Namekian bar, for obvious reasons. In the meantime, both Bamboo and Cress seemed ready to gear up for the real fight, while Mumbo and that other Majin went off to do their own thing, apparently. Ashi had half a mind to follow them, but decided against it.
"I know you like being a hero, but seriously, back off this time!" Ashi gave one last word of warning towards Typha before she started to charge up her own, powerful strike. Unfortunately for Typha, he'd have to burn through his energy blocking pot shots towards the planet all by himself, now that his only powerful ally had gone off elsewhere. It was either that, or let Namek suffer a devastating blow just so he could actually get some licks in on his opponents. "If I were you, I'd just go focus on getting as many Namekians off this planet as you can! That's your only real shot at protecting anyone!"

RETALIATORY STRIKE| Ramen's PL: 4,800,000 |
Ramen remained still as blasts raced through the skies around her. One of the defenders went down almost before she had even taken stock of him -- while Bamboo, Cress, and another all directed their attacks towards the planet itself. She couldn't help but huff in annoyance at the strategy: as much as she liked the Stargoons' chances here, something about the repeat attacks on the planet itself felt desperate... and with things so seemingly weighted in their favour, she was in no rush to join the battle herself.
"I think he wants you, Cress," Ramen commented, idly. Typha mentioned something about only needing to beat one person, and it made sense that it would be the one that hired him. "I know we're here to help you, but if you want to throw that Saiyan pride of yours on the line, I'd be more than happy to let you two fight it out over the fate of Namek or whatever."
Some part of her didn't really expect that the other Stargoons would be so eager to let the fight roll by without their participation. But to her, a one on one fight seemed more fair -- maybe even more interesting. If there wasn't a deal, she'd take a shot or two at Typha... but that might just be a little too easy. Not that she wouldn't like getting an opportunity or two to knock him down a peg after his somewhat colourful response to her.
"--Oh, and before I forget," she raised her voice again.
"I don't really know who you are, you're right about that. But if you're a man who's never run, how come you were on Namek in the first place to wish your people back? I always just assumed you'd run from all those death-dealing machines or whatever..." she pondered on the topic for a moment, before shrugging her shoulders. "I suppose it doesn't matter. Are you two going to fight or are the rest of us just going to vaporize you?"
Sorry for the state of this post -- 14 hour days multiple days in a row will do that to you. But the DE can continue now.

Post by Cress on Feb 14, 2020 0:50:05 GMT -6
Just before Mumbo and Kolra left the main group and began their fight, Cress managed to respond to her response. Cress presented a wide grin. "I guess I'll never figure out what you are then." He turned his attention back to everyone else. The Galactic Patrolman was dispatched by Ashi with little effort. "One less insect to bother us." Cress never really got those Galactic Patrol guys. Their so-called authority didn't mean very much to him, as they had very little of it. Planetary Governments were far more effective, and knew how to mind their own business.
After that he used his Raze Flash technique to try and blow up Namek. He got very close to doing so, only failing because the Konatsian Warrior blocked his attack to save it. Ashis fired as well, but his attack didn't do much either. Typha gave a speech after saving the planet from the twos attacks, and Cress quickly found a contradiction in his speech to point out to him. "You came back? That means you did leave, you ran."
Typha continued on. He was the talkative type it seemed. "Stop putting words into my mouth and fight. I don't care about your life story and I don't think anyone else here does either." Needless to say Cress didn't take Typha's warning. The tip given by Ashi would most likely save his life in this fight. Ramen addressed him too. "This guy will end up getting himself killed protecting this planet. My target is this planet, he'll probably throw himself in front of whatever attack I throw at it." He showed a sinister grin, aiming a hand at the planets surface as Typha charged him. Using his free arm, Cress held out his hand in Typha's direction and formed a shield to block his attack.
From the hand pointed at the planets surface came a powerful one-handed Raze Flash, firing with the same strength as the last.
Cress powers down to regular Super Saiyan. 2,280,000 PL. He fires [UA2] Raze Flash which will deal 1,504,880 damage aimed at Namek's core. Cress goes from 5/7 KP to 3/7 KP

|Retaliatory Strike| Vuzel's PL: 500
Would courage alone be enough to save his planet, his home? Was he being even remotely helpful in this situation? He had no room for questioning and yet, all he was faced with was the hopelessness of his situation. Were Oboe here, then he might have been able to save Namek. Had anyone else been here in his place, then the odds would be better. But it had to be him. On this day, he had to be reminded of how pitiful of a being he was. Sure, he had the courage, or so he thought. Most would argue it was foolishness that propelled him in the maw of madness. And now, with no strength of his now to back-up his stand, he could only be a spectator of this chaos. The valiant warrior named Typha was but alone against these enemies. Everything he tried, everything he poured his entire being into lacked the impact to provoke a single reaction. Aside from this demonic woman, no one else paid any attention to him. Perhaps this was for the better, but it showed him that there was nothing he could do to change fate. Powerless, these people had decided that his world, his people and everything he ever cared about would be no more.
And the poor adolescent racked his brain over and over. Where was hiding the strength necessary to tip the scales? What sacrifices did he have to make in order to protect and to save? To make sure that this would never happen, ever again. Right now, he was being given a chance to act upon his wishes. The demon-lady had freed him, sending an ominous blast of energy high in the sky, only for it to split up. One beam was directed towards Typha and the other, towards the planet. It was now the moment to act.
Slowly, he rose up to his feet, stumbled forward a little as he began running towards the attack. ‘I’ll intercept it. Sacrifice myself for the planet. This is the only thing that I…’. No. He stopped in his tracks, shaken by the sudden realization that he was no match for this, or for her. That the energy from the attack would vaporize him even before making contact and continue towards the planet. He began shaking, prey to a fundamental fear. One that defied reason. He could simply not fathom how strong it was. He only knew how weak he was. And this single, weak Namekian, could only watch as the life he cherished so, in his peaceful world was about to be swept away. All the hopes he fostered were dissolving until his mind went blank. Help wouldn’t come. Everyone will die. This was the end of the line. Still, in a fit of rage against the cruelty of this world, as tears rolled down his cheeks, he shouted towards the sky:
“GURUUU, PLEASE AVENGE US!!!”
This was, in a way, his only way not to fall into absolute despair. To hang on tight on a selfish wish to see all these literal monsters pay for what they were about to do. The blast would hit the ground and then, he could only hope for a swift death. And in his state, he could not think properly. He was struck by fear, yet hatred was bubbling at his core. He never wanted any of this. He only wanted to live in peace, to live a good life. Deep down in his psyche, something was creeping up. Something he didn’t like, but also couldn’t help but feel justified. In his hatred, he was ready to sell his soul to the Mazoku if it meant becoming strong enough to kill these bastards.
And as he did, his aura although weak, began taking on a darker hue, along with a feeling to it that would probably be reminiscent of the demonic energies in Bamboo. ’

Ashis let out a huff of disappointment, seeing that bamboo wasnt having any of that "sharing" nonsense. Begrudgingly, he'd watch as bamboo spoke to the small namekian, and launched two attacks over at that long eared fellow, and the planet. The young namekian would let out a shout in protest, Ashis's mouth warping into a mischievous grin. "Pftt, look you got him yelling now" Ashis chuckled, noting a comet-like streak flying close by as he spoke. "...Oh, right!" Ashis exclaimed, recalling that people did infact live on Namek, and were currently evacuating. He squinted his eyes, It left a sour taste in his mouth as he noted more and more escaping ships in the distance. Whats the point of destroying a planet if everyone who lived there was still... living?
"Tch tch tch..." Ashis mumbled, a baseball cap popping into existance in his hands. He'd put it on, adjusting it so his overly large hair would hit inside, and create a small ball of pink light in his palm. "Hey, you little green whatever you are- you see those?" he'd ask, pointing over at a small gaggle of ships moving further and further away, before reeling back his arm, his muscles becoming inflamed and bulbous, buffing up immensely. "Those are some of the guys you want avenged, yeah?" He'd comment, throwing his arm forward, the ball of pink rocketing torward one of the pods. Ashis would then close his eyes, using his magical senses to line up his attack, before closing his palms, the ball splintering out like a shotgun and sending a wave of pure power flying into the sides of the pods, the vessels shaking violently, before blowing up. He'd let out a slight whistle, turning his gaze back to Vuzel- "... Welp, they're avenged- you're welcome... or is that not what that word means?" Ashis laughed, noting the anger building up inside the small namekian.

RETALIATORY STRIKE| Ramen's PL: 4,800,000 |
Ramen let out of a groan of sheer annoyance as another blast sailed past the battle, heading straight towards the planet itself. It's not that she could really bring herself to care about the planet right about now -- that ship had sailed some time ago. But their victory really hadn't been assured, and a perfectly good opponent remained on the field. She wasted no time in springing into action -- Bamboo was one thing. She was young, and she could understand her going off on a little rampage. But Cress should know better. In a flash, she shot herself between Cress and his signature Raze Flash, thrusting both hands forward to release a powerful kiai. The gust of ki-charged air that sailed into the attack was more than enough to overwhelm the energy, sending sparks of the once-mighty technique streaking across the sky. When the last wisps of energy vanished from before her, she shot Cress a rather stern glare. "I get that you're eager to see this mission done, Cress. But do you want to maybe focus on the enemy at hand before you start throwing yourself head-first at the planet itself? I don't think you're going to have to worry about Kayen showing up and spiking you into the ground on short-notice, here." She floated there, arms crossed over her chest. She had no intention of helping Typha win his battle, but she wasn't about to see the fight end on short-notice because people were a little too focused on turning the planet into a giant fireball. Idly, she formed a sphere of ki in her right hand, with some of the energy she hadn't quite expelled for her kiai. It wasn't quite a threat, though she did take a rather long glance toward the demon. She had an inkling he was showboating. Maybe a little too much. "I get that you're not up to conquering the planet and holding it like Nashua or Kayen, but that doesn't mean you should just ignore the defense before you scrap it," she continued, her attention returning to Cress. "So let's maybe take a deep breath, reconsider where you're aiming those laser beams -- and stop fighting like a little bitch, alright?"She gave him one final nod, before turning back to face the Konatsian. She figured her message would be heard, loud and clear -- he probably wouldn't be happy about it. But sometimes, you just had to say what was on your mind. It was hardly the worst thing she would be doing here today. She flashed Typha a cruel -- perhaps uncharacteristically so -- smile. "Do you think you can carry on the fight on your own, now? I've yet to see that impressive strength your kin seems to think you possess."
Ramen uses her [B1] Kiai Keshi to block Cress' attack on Namek.
1,584,000 barrier meets the 1,504,880 attack and extinguishes it.

Typha looked at Ashi as she spoke back to him and seems to not be taking this seriously. Typha gritted his teeth anger flaring in his good eye. She didn’t seem to give a damn about what she was doing. Did she only care for the people of Konats and that was it? He had known she’d do bad but blow up a planet and kill millions? If she wanted to help people conquer it he’d of let it slide but this? He could not let that slide even if Ashi was one of Konats. “You seem so callous of death. I am sorry I made you this. I should've never let what happened on Konats happen. But this is not my fault. At the end of this, I am going to give you a verbal lashing.” Typha huffed turning back to the others. Whether it was in life or death he had plans to get her an earful in the future. Typha did give her one look as she told him to leave and stop playing the hero. “I was never a hero. I ain’t doing this to be heroic. I am doing this because I have too.” Typha then got back to focusing on how he was going to win this fight.
In head to head combat, he had no chance. He could defeat any of them in a one on one but Ramen. While he could match Ramen power it didn’t last long enough to land a solid hit and he’d also take damage. He did have a senzu but he could not be sure if Ramen or anyone else here didn’t just have one at the ready. He’d not be surprised if at least one senzu bean was among the group. The red demon was of little threat plus while he could take him out the moment he did he’d be exposed. He could not waste energy on him. Though Typha was tempted to see what he was doing now. He’d love to cut him down to size. So of the ones, he could see Ashi was the weakest link but he was not going to attack hurt. Despite what she was doing Typha didn’t have the will to attack let alone kill another one of his peers. Even if she was being a complete villain. With that out of the way and the others being too strong to quickly kill he had to focus on one strong target and that be Cress. Too bad he had announced in his boldness before thinking. He shouldn’t not of revealed his target but it was too late for regrets.
Typha's attention was pulled as Bamboo fired two blasts of energy down at him. At least that what he assumed as he began to fly into the air. One of them kept following him but the other was heading towards the planet. Then Cress decided to fire a third blast. “You gotta be kidding me.” Typha was actually ok with this. With Cress the target him using energy worked for him. He could probably block the two attacks and avoid the third attack. Yet it seems both attacks were going to land in different parts of the planet. This was about the time he wished he would learn to split his body into two. Though that leaves him exposed. Typha was about to just gun it for Cress and screw the planet since he had no way to really stop the attacks but Ramen for some reason moved and blocked Cress attack. Typha kept flying towards the ground where Bamboo's second blast was. But he saw he could not outrun the attack of Bamboo without a little help. He’d hate to expose the Kaioken this early but Ashi had already made a note of it.
“Kaioken X3!” Typha aura turned red as his speed increased before he spun mid-air Bamboo’s first blast sailing past him. It cut open the back of his shirt exposing his back. He even felt some of his ki get drained away but not enough to be of note. That attack Bamboo had used was dangerous. He was glad he dodged it. “That was close I should have used a higher level to be safe.” Typha huffed and flew off towards Bamboo's current blast. He wished he could have attacked back but he had to play defensive. “Song of the Princes!” Typha yelled as a large barrier of purple ki surrounded him. Typha's barrier clashed with her attack as Typha's feet slid back. “Tch.” Typha put his back into it and sent the blast flying into space were above the planet it exploded with great fury. Typha huffed as the barrier faded but the Kaioken did not. The red aura flashed around him as he turned eyeing Ramen and Cress as they kept bickering and Ramen made a passing comment on this strength and his supposed cowardice.
“I don’t need either of you lecturing me on if I ran or not. I ain’t the one hiding behind a pack of strong warriors. But to answer the questions once I killed the machines I moved to namek to fix my errors. As for your concern, Ramen. I don’t need to be stronger than any of you. I just need to outsmart you all. Plus you shouldn’t be concerned. I have no desire to show off my full strength unless it is needed.” Typha then would dash forward towards Cress before changing direction and heading at Ashi. His sword swung out as he sent a barrage of slashes at Ashi with one hand while his other hand reached out to grab Ashi. He would need a good strategy to win and that meant despite his hesitation he needed to target Ashi, for now, to lure them into his type of fight. After this said burst the Kaioken would fade and clear pain would appear on Typha face from the strain.

|Retaliatory Strike| - Bamboo's PL: previous post
Now this guy was the real-deal.
Sure, she’d fought heroes before, but none really matched his tenacity. The rat and the pretty-bot were goodies, sure, but they didn’t really have that goodie oomph, you know? Besides, the blue one sure was cowardly. Never a good recipe for heroism.
While her attacks were ineffective, Bamboo seemed unphased. In fact, she seemed almost amused, a bout of giggles escaping her lips as she doubled over. “You see that, little guy?” She whipped her head towards her new ‘friend,’ pointing at the discarded and blocked blasts. “You were super duper scared of those, but that guy dealt with both of them! In a flash!” She sure hoped he saw.
What was that? A whiff of something on the air?
Driven by naught but curiosity, Bamboo shot over to the Namekian, sensing his ki via her unorthodox (and slightly invasive) smell method. “You’ve definitely got some potential, kiddo!” She gave him a playful slap on the back, which to him, may not have felt very playful. “Just like me and teacher, y’know. Feeling angry? Upset? Yeah! Get mad!” She pointed towards the red-skinned demon. “That guy probably just blew up people you cared about! Go get ‘em, kiddo! If you need backup, just call, okay?” Wink.
Well, she was here to fight. As much as she loved toying with the boy, that was a fight for the future. There was a fight going on right now, right in front of her eyes!
In a flash, Bamboo intercepted Typha’s sword with her pole. It exerted her a bit to keep up with him, but it was certainly doable, long as he couldn’t stay that strong for long. Sword blow was met with wooden pole, and while one was certainly more conventional then the other, they were quite the even match. With a light push, Bamboo shoved Ashi backwards, out of the way of Typha’s grab.
“Hey, are you confused?” She tilted her head, conversing whilst guarding the barrage of strikes. “Didn’t you say you were gonna attack that guy?” She motioned towards Cress. “Ashi’s not that guy! Maybe if you beat him, we’ll stop! Wasn’t that what you were thinkin’?” A smile and a wink. “Go get ‘em!”
Used one charge of [SIG] Super Instincts. Gives a 50% dodge. Used to keep up with Typha for flavor

ACTIVE TRANSFORMATIONS: Luminary Blaze (x12P) |
Oh, boy. The villains just could never seem to play nice with each other, could they? In truthfulness, Ashi was a bit glad everyone seemed more interested in firing off shots at Namek instead of at Typha - much as the other Konatsian could be a nuisance, she did have a little bit of a soft spot for him. The problem was, he was really stretching it with that soft spot, but the narration can get to that later. For now, Ashi had to make sure they didn't have another Sensoa situation on their hands here with the redhead. "Hey, hey, hey!" she called out to Ramen, doing the hand motion over her own neck and shaking her head as well. "I know an epic battle and all sounds a lot cooler than taking pot shots down at some grass, let's remember we're all on a team, 'kay? And us baddies especially need to all stay on the same page, or we'll get steamrolled again!"
She didn't entirely blame Ramen for going off on Cress like that, but, like, when the stakes were this high, they were gonna need to be as cooperative with their own team as possible. Ashi was mostly concerned about them having another Central City fiasco on their hands. In the meantime, as she turned back to look towards Typha, she was able to see him just in time for his mad dash right towards her. "Whoa, hey, time ou-" she started to exclaim, though before she could feel the sting of his blade, Bamboo had jumped to the rescue, and blocked the blow to give Ashi enough time to both put some distance between herself and Typha, and properly draw her weapon. "Yeah, what the hell, Typha?" she teased, "I thought you were heroic."
"Ain't very heroic of you to target me when I was just standing here minding my own business, don'tcha think? What'd I even do?" She paused for a moment, and then momentarily glanced over at the pile of ashes that had previously been that one galactic patrolman. "...Besides that!" Still, if Typha was going to be a dick, then she'd just have to be one right back at him! Ashi took a leaping bound forwards, and whipped her blade around and over her head in quite the flashy spin, before it became enveloped in a dazzling orange flame, and was brought down with certainly not insignificant power towards Typha. Though she hardly expected it to make much contact, Ashi did have to make a statement, she thought as she pulled back after the blue.
The Konatsian was about to say something snarky in addition, but then her scouter beeped - what was that it was picking up off in space? Her ears twitched as well, as she felt... Something. "...You guys feel that weird wave of... Somethin'?" she idly asked, but then brushed it off as nothing. Probably just one of the things that other red guy had just exploded. "Eh, nevermind. Like I was sayin', you gonna target the guy responsible for all this or what, Prince?"

Post by Cress on Feb 22, 2020 6:45:42 GMT -6
Cress expected his Raze Flash to hit one of two chosen targets this time, but was shocked to see Ramen jump in the path between it and the planet. What the- Cress’ brows raised. Was this a betrayal, or to fuel something like one of his strongest attacks? At the end of it she emerged from the other end of his blast completely unharmed. “What the hell?” He boomed, a strong scowl overtaking his facial features and his aura raging more like a flame than before, circling him in an upward motion.
“No. If I had any intention on doing that I would have aimed for him. I don’t care what Kayen thinks either, or even if she shows up. She’s probably somewhere kissing one of Earth’s diplomats asses right now going off of what I’ve heard from her.” Cress let out a light chuckle before his expression hardened again.
While they held their conversation Typha blocked both of Bamboo’s attacks. Good He wanted to blow up the planet himself. “Maybe you should be a little bitch and stop whining about a fight that isn’t yours, huh? Maybe go kill some namekians instead of letting them get away, cause you’re being less useful than that demon guy.” Cress paused to take a breath of air before following up. “I don’t care about what you think about how I fight. It’s kept me alive all this time, like when I killed that sorry excuse for a leader on Earth. Now, you’ve wasted my energy by jumping into our fight, so maybe if you’re so eager to see a fight you should fight him.”
After getting that out Cress’ focus went from being solely on Ramen to the entire fight again. Typha kicked back with his words before aiming at Ashi. “It looks like he isn’t for your ideas either, so what’ll it be?”
These guys are a sorry excuse for a team. “You all seem more interested in talking than the fight itself. Where did Mumbo find you all?” Cress shook his head, not expecting or wanting an answer.

|Retaliatory Strike| Vuzel's PL: 2000
Sometimes, new emotions appeared scary. This feeling of being unable to comprehend what is going on in your brain, despite trying to rationalize. Vuzel had never felt pure anger towards anything. Sure, after the first invasion from the Saiyans and the World Trade Fleet, he was angry, sad and felt powerless. At least, he had been told the damage was not dealt on purpose, that they were collateral and that the Saiyans would help them recover from it. While his distrust remained, he eventually grew to accept it. This time, he had witnessed true malice. The desire to hurt for enjoyment, to kill for no reason other than pleasure. His anger…it was overwhelming. Almost like a panic attack that forced him to take deep breaths. He could only curse, not even at his enemy, but at himself for being who he was. If he had been someone else, then this wouldn’t have happened. Along with this desire for change, the cogs of something that had been buried deep within him started to turn. Sometimes, it was resolve and courage that brought forth the power to fight. Other times, it was the necessity of the moment, that pushed people beyond what they could even fathom. In his case, it was a selfish desire. A petty wish to see them being dealt with the horrors they were committing and receive it in spades. It wasn’t honorable by any means, nor should he feel proud of it. As fate would have it, this hatred coincided with the relics of some other evil, a parting gift from the individual that birthed the young Namekian. While raised and educated as a member of the warrior clan, he had been branded with the taint of the Mazoku ever since the beginning. Pure of heart, the kid was cursed with the evil magic that seeped into his egg. And now that he was faced with these negative emotions, that curse was resurfacing. His body began changing color, starting from the extremity of his limbs and slowly converging toward his heart. However, the transformation was only partial. His aura had that demonic flair to it and all he could set his focus on was the source of that hatred. The man who killed so many of his clansmen and people. Fear had completely left his heart. Now, he was only bent on revenge. “ You…bastard…I…I WILL KILL YOU!” His exclamation was quickly followed by a dash towards his enemy, attempting a series of punches and kicks. While he was fighting aimlessly, at one point he did try to elongate his arm around Ashis’ neck to choke him.

Ashis's eyes lighted up a bit as he heard Vuzel cry out, his anger quite apparent as he rushed forward. "Awhhh... that's the spirit kid!!" Ashis yelled, his arms slacking down to his sides as Vuzel's blows began connecting one by one. He'd let his body be thrown around effortlessly, a creepy smile ever-present as his face was thrown left and right; He was seemingly happy to get hit.
After the assault, he was riddled with small scratches and bruises, having lowered his guard to such an extent in order to actually enjoy this brawl. He'd then feel a slight tightness around his neck, looking down to see that Vuzel had wrapped his arms around him. "giving me a hug or something?? I thought you were mad at me..." Ashis joked, seemingly unaffected by Vuzels arms. He'd then reel his arm back, his arm buffing up greatly before throwing itself forward and attempting to knock Vuzel off of him (preferably towards the planet)- laughing all the while as he did so.
