RETALIATORY STRIKE| Ramen's PL: 4,800,000 |
The idea that Typha and Cress might actually settle the fight head-to-head seemed pretty far-fetched now. Not only was Cress seemingly determined to use whatever tactics he needed to in order to avoid that scenario, it was apparent that Typha wasn't in any rush to confront his main enemy either. When he boosted his power again, to an extent that actually did catch Ramen by surprise, it was to attack the Konatsian Stargoon, rather than the Saiyan. "Oh, good," she remarked, scowling as she watched Typha execute his little trick. "I figured we could wrap this up a little quicker if everyone was a little more direct, but no. Going after the weaker opponents first, huh? That's a good strategy if you're hoping to score a kill or two before you go down, but you've basically guaranteed yourself a loss by going that way."She just waved Typha off, her attention turning instead to the now-distant fight between Mumbo and... whoever that woman was. From the looks of her, she could have been his girlfriend. Although she wasn't really sure she wanted to picture Mumbo in that sort of relationship with anyone. "You know what--" she held up her hand, as if to silence Cress. It wouldn't work, of course. He was upset, and probably justifiably so. "You all can handle the situation here. I'm going to go help out Mumbo. If we're going to work together like a team, we'd be better off having our shield here with us, not slugging it out on his own."Without waiting for a confirmation, she allowed her power to swell to its absolute maximum before hurling herself in the direction of the other fight. The whole ordeal had left a bad taste in her mouth, and sorting out things on that end would probably put her in a better mood to help Cress finish the job just a little bit later. Besides -- she could see the strain on Typha's face as she coursed past him. His power would tear him apart, even if the Goons couldn't finish the job.

Typha rushed forward but his blows were blocked by another figure. Bamboo had quickly moved in blocking his blows with her weapon. She had moved faster than he expected and she was strong too. Each blow clashed with the pole but before he could get any real advantage the Kaioken was gone. He couldn’t keep up a level 3 for that long so he had to let it go. He’d need all the strength he could get for one the time to strike came. Bamboo then asked him if he was aware he was attacking the wrong person. Typha put on a smile. “Yes with one eye it is hard to see who you are attacking.” Typha sarcastically said. “As for my plan, of course, I still plan to defeat him.”
His good eye looked towards Ashi as she began to yell at him which was a fair he supposed. She was also ready to attack now and drew her sword ready to deal him a blow not to forget. Ashi powered up her sword with fiery ki. Typha couldn’t waste any ki so he just braced himself. The sword slashed through his skin and into his body causing a heap of blood to spew from his left shoulder. Blood began to leak from his mouth and his good eye grew dark with pain and the fight with unconsciousness. Taking a powerful punch and being slashed were two different feelings. He honestly hadn’t been seriously cut in a long time. He had to admit that hurt like hell but not as much as the Kaioken or even close to the pain he felt when he saw her on the battlefield. “Your form was good Ashi. But those flashy moves are not the style of a swordsman. Getting flashy is not going to help you in a fight.” Typha gave his praise and advice to Ashi, even in battle he felt the need too.
Typha raised his sword getting ready to attack. He couldn’t just let Ashi slash him and get away with that. Plus Ramen was still there he needed to fight back. Yet then he heard Cress’s words about Carro and that got him mad. To talk so badly about a friend of his going his blood pumping. “Sorry excuse! You had two people to fight him. Shut your mouth, you coward.” Typha yelled back at Cress before ripping himself away from Ashi sword blood covering the Namek grass. He’d planted his feet taking in a deep breath. He was in a lot of pain but he couldn’t lose focus. Then he heard Ramen’s words as she seemed to think his plan was changed. It was not as he said to Bamboo. He just was setting up the one strike to kill Cress. He would only have one shot to kill the Saiyan Warrior. His grip on his blade got tighter.
Then the chance came. Ramen made a note she was leaving to go help Mumbo. The Tuffle warrior Korla. He closed his good eye, he knew it meant she was going to die most likely. Her death would not be in vain though. He’d defend this planet in her stead. Along with Vuzel and Zentry. For every Namekian and everyone who prayed for Namek safety. Typha spun around one hand placed on his sword as he pulled off a flashy spin. He just complained to Ashi about her fancy moves so he found it a bit ironic he was doing that. Yet it was to hide that his plan. When he finished his spin dust and ash came flying out to attempt to blind Bamboo and Ashi. “I told you Ashi once before. I ain’t a Hero. I’m a Soldier.” He felt sorry for Zentry to do this to his ashes. It was wrong but at least Zentry would hopefully have some measure of comfort knowing his ashes would be the path to victory.
Typha kicked off flying right at Cress after attempting this blinding attack as he put both hands back on his sword. “I said this Cress! The moment I strike you is the moment you die! So say your prayers because I ain’t holding anything back!” Typha aura spiked around him a fearsome red aura springing to life. He’d put it all on the line with this attack. He’d take him out with one stroke of his blade. That was the life of a swordsman. One carefully timed strike to end a foe’s life. That is what his Kaioken training focused on. The balance of power and speed to bring him the surge of power for one strike. He never trained it to last long, he didn’t need it too.
“KAIOKEN X20!”
A Violent red aura surrounded him as he flew right at Cress his sword drawn. In truth, he was using the x10 but he just announced to everyone else he was going to a higher level. He knew Ashi had seen the x20 in action and would be aware after that move he be stunned. Yet with the x10 he could still move after the action if only barely. He felt his muscle tear and ripple as he flew at Cress. His sword began to be covered by the same red aura his good eye glaring at Cress. Cress would finally pay for his crimes. Even if Typha died after this he’d know he’d at least give Cress the fear of death. The same fear he bet Cress brought upon thousands weaker than him.
“KAI FLASH!”
His sword vanished from his hand moving at a speed even faster than the Kaioken. Typha flew right at Cress his sword flying right at Cress's neck to cut his head clean off with one stroke. Regardless of what happened after Typha would dash past and fall to a knee spitting out a great deal of blood. The strain and damage he had already taken were dogpiling. Typha was going to be at the end of his rope after this move. He just hoped his foe was too.

|Retaliatory Strike| - Bamboo's PL: 2,754,000/2,142,000
Ooh, a message! Bamboo whipped out her flip-scouter in the middle of the altercation, swiping through it with about as much confidence as a toddler. It took a bit... ah, there it was! Mumbo needed help- she was ready! Hoora-
She couldn't finish the thought before Ramen blitzed off. Showoff. Instead of putting the device back in her pocket, she simply tossed it behind her. It probably cracked on some rock somewhere. Oh well!
There was a fight here, anyways. A fight against a confused guy- though she supposed having one eye would be pretty annoying. Wasn't his eye robotic or something? Wasn't that supposed to be an improvement? Psh. Machines, right?
Ashi and the warrior, Typha his name was, went back and forth about swords and sword fighting. She took a glance down at her pole, somewhat dejected. Swords sure seemed cool- but she liked her pole. It was sturdy- beyond sturdy, actually. She couldn't just give it up. It had sentimental value. Don't worry about it, pole... She spoke to it with her brain. Inanimate objects were just about the only things she could communicate with, anyways. You're just as cool as they are.
Maybe these distractions weren't all too productive, because before she knew it, there was a pile of ash in her eyes. She hissed and scraped at her face, recoiling slightly. Dirty! Literally. It only took a moment to rub her eyes and re-orient herself, but by then, Typha had already launched himself forward, his power boosted once again. Her eyebrows furrowed. How was he doing that? Kaioken? Was it something she could learn? She'd need to ask him about it later. If he was alive, of course.
Speaking of people who might not be alive, it looked like that attack had more than enough force to strike down the Saiyan. Well... she could've hopped in front of him. In her newest stage of power, though, she was a bit more frail then she was used to- the demon's power definitely went towards her offense. She could've probably lived, but... well, he could take it, right? He was just saying how strong he was! Not to mention he dissed the goons' teamwork just a few seconds earlier. He could handle himself, right? Yeah!
She wished him good luck internally and waited to see how the events played out.

ACTIVE TRANSFORMATIONS: Luminary Blaze (x12P) |
Given their strength in numbers, and, well, overall strength as well, Ashi had been pretty confident initially that there wouldn't be any issues taking Namek down with how sparsely numbered its defenders were. However, as Mumbo had split off from them - for whatever reason - and was now calling for help, Ashi couldn't help but roll her eyes at how uncoordinated this all was. "Why'd you break off from us in the first place if you couldn't handle things solo?" she squawked back into her scouter. She knew he might not entirely appreciate backtalk from her, but this was kind of an urgent situation - she knew they'd win in the end, there was basically no way either of the heroes could stop that now. But her real worry was one or two of them getting killed in the process, which would kind of put a damper on their power in the future.
And as for Cress' snarky comments, Ashi leered over at him and gave him a frown. "Look, buster," she lectured the arrogant brat, "We don't need any snarky remarks from you, got it? You're the one who hired us, so if there's anyone whose intelligence you should be questioning, it's your own, got it? You know what happened to the last guy who hired us and then started talking a bunch of shit? We killed him and his girlfriend and Green over here-" Ashi jolted her thumb over at Bamboo, "-ate the both of 'em. I don't think you wanna end up in her stomach either, ye? So clam it and just work with us on this." There, that'd hopefully get him to shut his trap for at least a minute. Now, where was she? ...Oh, right, she'd just slashed Typha something nasty.
She honestly felt kind of bad as she looked at the wound she'd left him with, visibly grimacing as she looked him over. "I kinda thought you were gonna block that?" she commented as she eyed the gash. He was even giving her advice on her technique? ...Typha was of a different breed, that was for certain. "Look, your injuries are only gonna get worse than that if you keep fighting here, so why don't you just-" and then Typha powered up again and shouted something about going 'times twenty'. He then kicked some dust at her - which might have hurt her eyes if she didn't have those over-sized star glasses over them - and as she stopped to wipe them clean, he made his charge at Cress. ...Hey, wait a second, this wasn't dust. "Did you seriously just try to blind me with that animal's ashes!?" she growled after Typha.
His attack was big and flashy, and, well, really powerful, but she was pretty sure Cress would be alright. Ashi glanced over at Bamboo, who'd also gotten some of the dead rodent on her face. With a roll of her eyes, Ashi shrugged and said, "Boys, am I right?"

Typha didn't take lightly to his comment on Carro during his discussion with Ramen. "Looks like I hit a nerve!" He let out a sinister laugh. "While I may have had two, he had three. The robot counts. Maybe if he weren't such a pathetic excuse for a saiyan he may have stood a chance." A portion of his attention went to Ramen, although his eyes were still trained on the Konatsian Warrior. Ramen didn't want to hear with he had to say. It looked like they both had something in common. She went off to aid Mumbo in his fight against Korla.
Good. He thought. Less chance of her jumping in front of another one of my attacks.
A wild grin presented itself at the sight of an angered Typha making a move against him. He would attempt to rile him up even more. "Come on then, show me what you've got!" Typha did just ask he requested, a violent red aura forming around him. His scouter rang over and over again as it notified him of the sudden change in power. Cress reacted by shielding his frontal half with ki as Typha quickly closed in on him, his scouter notifying him of Typha's attack growing even stronger. In the face of such an attack, Cress still would show no fear. Ashi also took the time to try and tell him something. "Save it!" He was concentrating on the fight.
He moved his arm up to cover his neck; what the sword was aiming for. It hit the ki that covered his arm, and for a brief moment stopped the swords in its tracks, but was eventually broken leading to the sword slicing through his flesh.
Bastard! Cress internally cursed as he clenched his teeth and swung around to look at Typha, who'd just landed and began coughing up blood. He pushed past the pain and regained his composure to talk, blood pouring from the wound just inflicted upon him.
He grinned without even forcing it. "I've been hit harder." His raging aura would fade and his hair was no longer a bright gold but a yellowish-white, marking the use of his mastered super saiyan form. "Impressive, but that technique will do you no good against me." He made a note to steer clear of it, but in all honesty though he could've found some use for it.
He brought his uninjured arm up and cauterized his wound by burning the scar with his own ki.
This wasn't the time to let up though. His wound took little more than a second to tend to. Showing off his speed, Cress would suddenly race down to where Typha had landed and attempt to drive his boot into his backside and force him to part the ground and fall through it.
Cress uses [UB2] Super Shield (1,504,800) to defend against Typha's attack. 6,184,500 - 1,504,800 = 4,679,800 x .75 = 3,509,775 153% PL Damage Taken KP: 3/7 > 1/7 Cress powers up to MSSJ which makes his PL 2,432,000 KP: 1/7 > 1/3

During that time, all of his hatred was focused on the red guy. Not matter the maneuver, no matter what he tried to do, he was unable to put a single dent on his defense. That was just how deep the difference between them was. Still, despite knowing he was outclassed in every single aspect, he couldn’t bring himself to abandon. While he was toying with him, others could leave the planet safely. If his broken body allowed even one person to flee, then he felt he could pass on peacefully. Of course, he wanted to do more, he wanted to save his planet, he wanted to win! But his only hope was in that man he had never seen before, alone against all these powerful enemies.
As he soldiered on, his anger grew along with his distress. It was only a flash where he saw the red fist coming towards him and he fell down towards the planet. For a short while, he lost consciousness, his skull shattering from a single impact. His limp body absorbed most of shock when he came in contact with the planet below, saving him from additional damage. When he came to, he was wheezing and wincing from the pain, his nose bleeding profusely. He felt dizzy and lightheaded, a concussion being the reason of that. Thanks to his namekian genetics however, he was able to recover quickly. What could he do? He wasn’t able to think straight at that point. He was shaking, unable to face Ashis with the same conviction as earlier. Flashbacks of prior events came back to him in brief flashes and he remembered his other enemy’s words. Before Ashis could attack him further, he yelled as loud as he could at Bamboo’s intention.
“H…HELP ME!”
He felt bad for relying on that to save his skin. Maybe it wouldn’t even work. But something told him to stay alive at all costs. He couldn’t die here, not now. He had to make do with what he had right now, he would have plenty of time to curse his own lack of strength later or in death. For now, he only had this gamble to rely on. At the same time, it would maybe help the other warrior.

His fist struck Vuzel as intended, feeling something resembling a crack as Vuzel flew off towards the green world. He'd stare down at his fist, slightly worried that he'd accidentally killed the Namekian in one hit, before following quickly after him. He'd touch down shortly after Vuzel, noting that he didn't look all too dead. He let out a sigh of relief- "That's good..." He'd mutter, putting his hands on his hips as he began pacing over to where Vuzel laid.
"Looks like I get to have a bit more fun with ya after all" he'd chuckle, getting closer and closer to Vuzel before suddenly hearing him cry out. A cry for help? Ashis was puzzled but also amused by this desperate plea. He'd begin laughing- "What??? HAH... Where did all that gusto go? Weren't you gonna kill me or something?" Ashis asked, patting his chest as he spoke. "I'm right here, wide open too! go ahead and take your shot" he'd declare as he continued to close the gap between the two.
"Or are you scared that I'm gonna kill you or something? take some advice from me... just don't worry too much about death. It's not as scary as you probably think... But regardless- I'm not gonna kill you... you wouldn't be able to watch this planet blow up if I did" He'd chuckle, suddenly breaking into a sprint- "I'm just gonna break every bone in your body!!" he'd scream, his face gleaming with sadistic pleasure as he flew at Vuzel, throwing a flurry of punches and kicks as he approached (though holding back just enough not to kill the little green twerp).

Typha heard the words coming from Ashi he wanted to answer them but he didn’t have time for them at least not yet. He needed to focus on taking down Cress. His chance had come and he could not lose it. Typha had moved quickly and sword strike was lined up for a perfect killing blow. Typha felt his sword clash with the flesh of Cress but it was his arm instead of his neck. He knew Cress would defend but he was also sure it’d take all his might to do. Seems he cut it close but he was still standing. More than he could say for himself. Despite his training, the pain was a lot. It rose throughout his body making him grit his teeth to hide the pain but it was clear to everyone he was hurt badly. Typha didn’t want to admit it but he was not in a good situation. That had been the gamble to play and now Cress stood tall above him.
Typha turned his head looking back at Cress taking in deep breaths. He had been right to be unafraid of the Kaioken after that display. He couldn’t pull off that trick again. He had been defanged. At least that what he bet Cress wanted to think. Typha clenched his fist on his sword. The man taking his time fixing up his arm and talking. Those small increments in time gave him back some of his strength. Typha gritted his teeth, if he was going to die he’d at least take the smug bastard with him. He could at least rest easy if the mastermind of the plot was a headless corpse on Namek. Typha watched Cress come to stomp on him. Typha flicked his sword back around. For a warrior, Cress was clearly a fool to test his blade. He only needed a well time strike to cut his foot off. Yet he didn’t because he heard Vuzel cry for help. Cress boot slammed into his backside breaking the ground under him “Guah.” Typha spat out of a glob of blood as Cress forced him down.
Typha could see the Namekian needed help. Why did he come here to fight and cower? If he was going to fight then fight for your life. Don’t call for help dammit. Typha felt compelled to help the Namekian but what could he do? He was not strong enough even after all his training. He was battered and they were facing six to..Typha couldn’t sense Kohlra ki anymore? Was she dead? Typha growled in anger, he was really in a tight spot. Ashi was correct that it was time to give up. Namek was doomed and he couldn’t stop it. Typha slammed his fist. “I ain’t done.” He’d sneered looking at the ground under him. “Not until I’ve forgiven myself I am never letting anyone down again!” Typha flexed his muscles ki surrounding his body as slam the ground with his sword breaking it apart to allow him to fly away from Cress.
He took in a few breaths as he stared all his enemies down. He didn’t have the strength to defeat all of them nor did he have the power to fire off another Kaioken of that magnitude. He also knew he may not get another shot. He knew he had the Senzu. It was his only option but when would he use it. As he pondered this he finally noticed the change in Cress form, he was now a mastered super saiyan. He didn’t expect him to be able to switch. That complicated them. It meant that Cress would soon be back at full strength if he was able to get that strength back it meant the end. “Damn this just ain’t my day.” Typha took in a few more deep breaths. “There are a lot of you, more than me. That’s fine with me I can’t complain I came to fight knowing I could be outnumbered, still it is a bitch. Especially when you are not even so tough.” Typha eyed Cress. “You are not even to be friendly to those you hire seems you got a bad attitude.” Typha raised his sword up. “Plus now you changed forms to get back some energy I have to admit I didn’t know you could do that.”
Typha looked at Ashi. “I ain’t giving up Ashi. You guys are gonna have to carry me out Unconscious or in a body bag. While i’d desire the former, I am pretty sure it is going to be the latter. But I can’t give up. Not after what happened on Konats. I failed that day I let my people get slaughtered. I won’t let another planet suffer that fate. If I can save one person then I did my duty. I won’t run away because if I do how the hell can I look on myself or expect anyone else too.” Typha sighed. He’d tap his robot eye seeing it was a scouter to send a message to Ashi own. He couldn’t say it out loud. “I don’t know why you made me feel like..me. You made me feel like a whole person again. Sorry that I gotta be here to mess things up. It was never going to work. Us I mean? Look I can’t say this in person but I felt something for you. I don’t know what it was but I think it just made me feel alive. Someone who didn’t put up with my shit everyone wanted me to forgive myself for what happened on konats but that can’t be forgiven.” Typha reached into his belt and smiled at Ashi. He spoke in Konatsian. “See ya in hell.” He’d pop the senzu bean in his mouth.
“KAIOKEN!”
A red aura flashed around Typha as he powered back up his wounds healing but not all the way. He only had one more chance. He was going to take it and kill him. “Round 2 Cress. can you take another attack head-on? I can’t wait to see it. Once I defeat you I'll protect this planet with what I got left.” This was it he was pretty sure he was going to die. He was glad that Namekian gave him the Senzu bean. It at least was going to give him the strength to move but he didn’t feel the Kaioken pain disappear. He was pretty sure it’d never go away. But If Cress regained energy he’d be dead. If Ramen came back he’d be dead. He had to defeat Cress right now. His body may break, he may return to the land of the dead but his spirit would never break.
“Times Twenty!”
Instead of the controlled aura from before a violent aura flashed around him. This was the real Kaioken x20. A wild uncontrolled burst of power. He felt pain fill his entire body. He could barely move in this state. He’d quickly charge right back at Cress. His sword came down as he went to bisect the saiyan warrior in his last attempt on Cress’s life. He had his doubt it would work but he had to try. He was the only hope for this planet so he’d put his life on the line. After the attack regardless of success, Typha collapsed on his back taking in a gasp for air in clear pain. This attack had stripped him of most of his strength. That was the last Kaioken he’d do he was sure of that. "Damn Kingkai you were right." Typha looked at his smoldering sword arm. It was left as a broken mass of flesh and bone. "Guess I am one-armed too now." Typha laughed in clear pain.

|Retaliatory Strike| - Bamboo's PL: 2,754,000/2,142,000
Yeah, she did eat those guys! Good times.
"Yep, boys. You're exactly right." She didn't actually know wether or not Ashi was right. In fact, she didn't even really know what Ashi was implying. She couldn't even pronounce 'implication.' But, if she was saying it, it was probably true, right? Yeah. Bamboo was easily influenced.
Truth be told, though, she was really itching to get in the heat of that battle. It'd been a long while since she'd had anything suitable- just some tantalizing tastes of foes so strong of body yet so weak of mind. She wished she could taste the sting of a life-ending attack on her skin, a real, brutal, bloody struggle... in fact, she was mere seconds away from leaping in front of the warrior's attack.
But, if nothing else, she was a woman of her word. Over the chaos of the battle, she heard a cry for help.
It took but a moment for Bamboo to blitz over to their location. She landed, yanking the young Namekian back, replacing his frail, flimsy body with her ironclad one. Ashis would manage to land a single punch on her- one she caught cleanly.
"I told you he was mine, didn't I?" She scrunched up her face, shaking her head. "I think I'm a pretty nice girl, y'know? I let you play around with him for a bit- but you took advantage of that. That's a big no no. I think a harsh lesson will help teach you some manners, right?"
The words were barely out of her mouth before her knee fired up like a piston, slamming into Ashis's midriff with the force of a meteor. The very ground beneath them fled from the impact, a spiderweb of cracked dirt expanding from the spot the red demon stood.
Unfortunately, it wasn't over for the red demon- if the attack had connected, she grabbed his collar, pulled her arm back, and tossed her best fastball across the planet.
If she was successful, she'd wipe the dust off her hands. She could appreciate villainy, but his villainy couldn't interfere with her own. She turned towards Vuzel, ruffling his hair. Well, he didn't have any, so it was more like a rough pat on the head.
"See? I told you I'd come if you asked!" Her cheerful proclamation was cut short when she inspected him. "...oh. He sure did a number on you, huh? I thought maybe you could've lasted a bit longer, but it's fine, I guess... we all gotta start somewhere, or something..."
She shook her head. "It's looking pretty dangerous for a guy like you, though. You seem pretty tuckered out, too. Don't worry! Just take a little nap. I'll wake you up for the main event." It was an unsettling amalgamation of childlike wonderment and unparalleled cruelty.
Either way, she'd attempt to sever his link to the conscious word with a flick to the forehead.
Was she doing something...? Oh, right, the attack! Shoot. She kissed her teeth.

"Save what?" Ashi snapped back at Cress as he gave his rather curt reply. So much for trying to hammer some respect into monkey brains over there - it figured that pretty much the only thing he'd actually respond to was someone trying to punch him in the face. He did manage to somehow repel Typha's impressive blow, though the other Konatsian was somehow far from finished, regardless. And now, the little Namekian that they for some reason had yet to kill was screaming and whining for help. Ashi rolled her eyes (again) and shouted over at Bamboo, "Can you shut that guy up? If he does any more screaming or crying I'll just send him off to meet with that hedgehog." What was he even doing here, anyway? If he was really smart, he'd have just evacuated with the rest of his kin. Bamboo seemed to get the message, though - and then some, as she blasted that other guy, as well.
"Well... That works," Ashi mumbled her head tilting to the side as she crossed her arms. This wasn't exactly the cleanest operation, but it did look like it was going to be a success. That other hero who'd gone off to fight Mumbo's energy had just faded on her scouter, presumably with the help he'd gotten from Ramen, which meant those two would be making their way back to the fray any minute. And Typha was basically running on empty, now. And speaking of running, he sure was running his mouth. "Funny that, cause you didn't seem to have much of a problem with running away from those robots," she shot back, though then a message from him popped up on her scouter, which she furrowed her brows at. It took a few moments for her brown eyes to glean over the message, and once she'd finished, she let out a somewhat annoyed sigh.
She was going to have to work her magic on this all, wasn't she? As she'd been reading, Typha had delivered (another) devastatingly powerful attack towards Cress, which left him all but defenseless, now. And his arm didn't look so great, either. Ashi approached him from behind, with her sword tightly gripped in her hands, as she sent him a short little message from her own scouter. "If you want to live, then take the hit - you can go restore the planet with those Serpent Orbs later. you're just gonna have to trust me on this one." She'd give him a moment to receive the message, before she dealt out a powerful strike with her sword to the back of his head - with the flat of her sword. It'd knock him right out unconscious, provided he'd just let her stick the blow in. "That's that one dealt with," she'd say as she slipped the sword into its sheathe. "You still alive over there, Saiyan?"

One successful attack later and his boot rested atop the backside of the King of Konats, who'd been driven into the namekian soil by it. The ground was stained red by his blood. If things went on the entire field would be covered in it. "Is that all you've got?" He held out a hand and aimed it at the back of Typha's head. He appeared to have riled him up a bit, but would that save him from his fate? Typha's words and actions displayed that his will to fight hadn't been exhausted yet, leading to him breaking away from his hold.
"You think looking for forgiveness from yourself will help you?!" Cress readjusted his aim, his hand glowing red from the large amounts of ki building up within it. He would've blasted Typha, but he had a little bit more talk in him. "You aren't very tough yourself." Typha commented on his friendliness to the Stargoons. "I'm friendly when I'm not being worked against." He didn't care to respond to his comment about his form.
Cress watched Typha address Ashi. "Saying your last words?" He grinned and laughed. He was shocked when he saw Typha down a senzu bean and then use kaioken again. "I should've known!" That begged the question, why didn't he have one as well?
Cress used the ki being built up in his hand to form a shield. "I'll stop it this time!" Or at least that was what he'd hoped would have happened. He knew full well he couldn't fully stop his attack, but he could at least try and soften the blow. His first thought was to put his arms out in front of him, but his thought changed when he realized he already had a massive wound on the one out front. Any more and it'd be cut clean off! He scrambled to move his arms, and that's when Typha struck his shield, breaking through it and slashing through the skin and tissue above his chest.
"Gaah!!" Cress let out a loud groan as blood flew from his front, knocking him off his feet.. He was at a loss for words, large waves of pain pulsing through his body keeping him from talking. All he could do was think quickly and cauterize the wound again, and Typha gave him enough time to do it again. An expression formed on his face to match the excruciating pain he was going through right now, only bolstered from him burning close his wound. This'd have to do until he could get in a rejuvenation tank. He could feel it, he was close to death. But he was not done. Typha had collapsed right in front of him, opening him up to attack.
He heard him talk. "You'll be left with even less when I'm done!" He saved himself some pain and floated to his feet. What he saw after was Ashi attempting to deliver the final blow to Typha. She asked him if he were alive, and to tell the truth, he barely was. He gave her a nod because it hurt a little bit too much now to loosely talk.

|Retaliatory Strike| Vuzel's PL: 2000
‘You gotta…hold on…’ He was desperately attempting to survive, bracing himself against each of Ashis strikes. How could he not think about death in that situation? That guy was talking nonsense. With each of the hit he received, he could feel bones in his body shattering. At the same time, he tried regenerating from the wounds, managing to barely keep his footing and healing the various broken bones at the same time. As soon as they shattered, they would reform themselves, only to be shattered a fraction of a second later. This back and forth was taking a toll on Vuzel’s body, to the point where the pain was too much to even allow him to scream in pain. He could only grit his teeth as he got pummeled, his mind going blank for fractions of seconds at a time. Of course, that gusto of his would disappear! He was fighting to survive, hanging on his mental fortitude. Despite his best effort to heal, his body was badly swollen from the hits, his body painted purple by the blood that was spilled. In order to not fall prey to despair, Vuzel kept thinking about his people, about his mentor and, above all else, surviving. That’s why he had to call her, however shameful it was for him to do so.
When she appeared in front of him, he stepped back, finally losing balance and dropping the ground. Beaten and battered, his breathing was shallow, and he couldn’t see from one of his eyes. By some strange luck, he managed to win his gamble, finally getting some respite. But it hurt…so much.
The last thing he remembered; the woman was talking to him. He wasn’t sure what she said exactly but when her hand came towards his face, he didn’t feel that lucky anymore.
After that, everything went black.

Ashis flung his flurry of fists against Vuzel, his face warping more and more with each strike. He could feel the bones cracking beneath his knuckles, a feeling which drove him crazy with euphoria as he continued. But suddenly, his barrage would come to a screeching halt. Initially, Ashis thought that Vuzel had somehow blocked one of his blows, but as his euphoric bloodlust dissipated, he'd quickly make note of bamboo's reappearance between him and Vuzel.
Vuzel would then collapse behind Bamboo, causing Ashis to sigh before turning his attention back to Bamboo. She started spouting some nonsense about how "Vuzel was hers" and whatnot, his eyes visibly rolling as she spoke. "If you really were nice, you'd let me play with him a bit longer" he'd snidely remark, before suddenly feeling a deep, sharp pain in his stomach. His eyes jutt out, his mouth gaping wide open as he floated into the air from the impact of her kick, before being grabbed and chucked with an unrelenting force. He'd come crashing down into an ocean halfway across the world, the water-splitting into huge waves as he rocketed through it, eventually stopping after hitting the shores of some beach with a loud "boom".
He was out cold, plain and simple- the sheer power of that hit left no room for debate, a large hole punctured straight through his stomach (a hole that was slowly being filled back in due to Ashis's regeneration).

Typha looked back at Cress as he saw the slash had connected. Cress was still alive though but he was barely clinging to life. He looked at his ravaged arm. A grin formed on his face, he could still move the rest of his body. Typha knew he was close and he could kill him. Typha only had to get past Ashi and Bamboo. What was great about that was Bamboo blasted the red demon fellow and seemed to knock out Vuzel. Typha could see it was a chance to strike with her guard focused elsewhere. Typha put his good hand on the ground and began to push himself up. Then he felt a power behind him looking back to see Ashi. She had come to finish this it seemed? He closed his good eye. He didn’t expect her to be the one to kill him but if someone was going to do it, she made the most sense. He had led to her death so she could take her chance at revenge.
Typha robotic eye beeped as she alerted him to her plan. He stared at the message in his robotic eye. A growl escaped his throat. His bad arm clenched the pain searing into his head. Who said he wanted to live? Typha aura flashed to life with what strength he had left. Plus she even decided to taunt him about the robots how he had run. Her of all people? She knew he didn’t run and how much he hated it. Typha felt angry fill his entire being. He’d not be a coward. Typha spun around his good eye still filled with life. The pain was bad and he could barely move but he didn’t care. He’d give it all up he’d save these people. Typha sprung off the ground with his good legs launching at Ashi as she swung the hilt of her blade down.
Yet as Typha moved he stared her in the face, his eyes turning to a sad look. Why was she doing all this? Why was she trashing and blowing away a planet? Why was she now sparing him or at least trying too? He was so confused why do all this? Why did he care for her so much despite her doing so much to make him dislike her? Even after she killed another person he still cared enough to tell her what he felt. Then he thought of Konats, everyone waiting for him at home. If he died again what would happen? Could he even trust her? Typha didn’t know but he didn’t get to choose. As he moved up he felt his leg buckle causing him to stop. The Blade got close but he could still dodge. His robotic eye blinked to tell me where to move to avoid it. Typha didn’t move though. He didn’t know what to do and inaction in a fight of this type was defeat.
The blow hit him dead in the face slamming him back down where he had laid. His good eye was rolled back and his robotic eye cracked from the blow. Typha put his hand on the ground to push himself up. He refused to quit. He had to save them, that was all he could do to redeem himself. If he failed again he couldn’t look at himself. Typha pressed his arm down but a large noise of a crack from his shriveled arm caused him to crash back down. His hair faded back to normal. He’d have screamed in pain if that didn’t make sure he stayed down this time. Typha was defeated.

Rejoining from Really Real Murder split
Mumbo screeched to a halt at the far end of the battlefield. He'd been booking it full-speed to the main event, but it felt like it took him a whole two days to get back! The Majin huffed, the strange gray cocoon hoisted over his shoulder slumping to the ground below him. Maybe that Tuffle lady was heavier than he'd thought? She definitely didn't seem the carbo-loading type.
It was a shame that he'd taken so long, as it seemed the epic battle he'd been sensing was already over. Just a few feet from where he'd landed sat Typha, his arm crippled and his consciousness... Undone?
"Hey uh, nice woik team."
Some others had been KO'ed too. That loudmouth alien-demon guy who was helping them seemed to be out cold, and the Namekian runt was down for the count too! Man, his team was getting pretty good at this whole villainy thing. A shame they had to let the villain-in-training go down, though. Though Mumbo didn't know his name, the little guy had gusto.
"Yo guys! We don't wanna leave dis punk ta die, do we? He uh... Iunno he seemed evil enough ta me!" He'd grab Ashis' unconscious heap and hoist it over his other shoulder, before tossing the cocoon towards Bamboo unprompted. "Catch!"
He wasn't sure Bamboo was hungry, or if she would even be interested in eating a bug-lady, but extending the offer was never a bad idea.
"Dat weird lady inside was pretty tuff. Tink you can slurp her up or whaddevah? Might help you pack a lil' extra punch, yknow?"
The thought only arose now that he needed a bigger ship if he wanted to take any refugees. His pod was fine and all for himself, but a trip to another planet with someone in his guts sounded like a terribly painful expedition. Maybe there was some ship or another he could appropriate on the way out... Meh. Problems for a few minutes from now, he supposed.
Mumbo walked back towards Typha's body, looming over it through sheer size alone. For all the power he was outputting, the swordsman seemed pretty scrawny right about now. How he stayed alive as long as he did was definitely a mystery. He'd have to ask the other goons to fill him in.
"And since I'm on da subject... What you guys wanna do wit dis bozo?" Mumbo pushed his boot on Typha's face, making his cheek pinch back as if he were making a strange half-faced smile. "Could just leave him heah, I guess. Since da planet is gonna... Yknow."
He looked to the other Goons, and then Cress. If nobody said anything, he'd probably just leave the Konatsian to die. Maple always told him it was good to help heroes sometimes; they'd owe you eventually, he'd say. Some of the newer crowd seemed a bit too morally gray to hold up to that, though.
Sorry for the lame post :) Trading Korla's Body (Cocoon) to Bamboo! Ashis (Unconscious) has been added to Mumbo's inventory!
