Makinarim wasn't sure why he was here. He was a scientist dammit. What was the sense in making a scientist train? If he wanted to fight, he could simply upgrade his physical form in order to compensate. But, that had been the orders. While C.U.R.E. was doing well now, earning the people's trust and working their way into their hearts, there was a sizable possibility that someone would object to their overall goal of improving humanity. With that in mind, the high ranking members of C.U.R.E. (Makinarim included), were instructed to train and increase their physical strength for when such an altercation had arrived.
Thankfully, it seemed that Ghoti had acquired them a dojo to train at. Makinarim wasn't exactly sure where the fish headed being had gotten the the place, but he wasn't willing to question it. After all, C.U.R.E. did have plenty of resources. How hard could it possibly be to find a good place to train?
The android floated into the area, his pale face looking around. Surely there were others that would be joining them. I mean, he wasn't exactly a combat buff, but wouldn't it be better to have others to train with, rather than simply train alone? If anything else, Makinarim could collect some good combat data and apply that to his upgrades.

Android 72’s first request from C.U.R.E. was a simple one. Show up and engage in a training session. While the order was one dimensional, the objective was not. Gerrard voiced his opinion to 72, his assumption lying between the companies desire to see her combat skills and how far along she was in terms of technology. A contracted employee for all tense and purposes, it was reasonable they wished to see what tools set she was equipped with. Capable of combat, but far from advanced in terms of hardware, 72 reported as directed.
The structure was not hard to miss and clearly designed to house training type activities. She wondered exactly how far the company’s resources reached. This place combined with their impressive headquarters spoke of extensive assets, not to mention the technology they boasted. By her estimation it was likely they had scores of buildings scattered across the region, ranging from training facilities to secret laboratories. Of course this was all guess work for her at the moment, none of this information was something she was privy to.
As she arrived, Gerrard went silent. Like always he observed secretly through her sensors, but if this was to be something physical and fast paced, it was out of his league in terms of control. Capable of remotely overtaking her circuits and systems in a number of scenarios, combat was an area where it would only hinder the android. There was no way his inferior and aged reflexes could match her lightning fast decision analysis. For once the controlling human was going to have to remain mostly on the sidelines.
Instantly she realized she was not alone.
”Greetings, Makinarim.” She started as she made her way over to him. Once close enough she dipped into a bow to pay respect to one of her employers. ”Are we waiting for others or are you the only one? The request did not specify who it was that wished to see my capabilities. Either way, I am prepared to perform.” With that 72 went silent, gaze on Makinarim as she stood at the ready. Hands at her sides, the glow of blue pulsed through the visible circuits on her right arm hinting at the energy reserves within.

Thread PL 2755. Dojo is active.
A memo had gone out through Ghoti's department that he'd been told to host an event for strictly the highest personnel in the company, as well as CEO Tanga herself. In actuality, though, Tanga had sent Ghoti a message, requesting that he train her project, Virus, as well as some of their other members. He'd been curious to how that project had been going, too, so he would certainly make his way down to the labs.
However, before he'd do so, he'd send the new girl, Nikel, a message saying, 'Come meet me at the elevator immediately. There's a high level project you'll want to test your Cultivar against.'
He heard that there were two others in the company that were going to be downstairs as well, Androids 72 and Makinarim. He'd not had the time to take a look at their profiles and learn about them, but they were down there. In order for them to be able to engage in the training exercise with Virus down below, they needed someone of the highest clearance to do that. Ghoti, naturally as one of the earliest projects of Tanga's that succeeded and was also now one of their prime directors, had such access!
Trying to go in here without me is foolish, lads! :P
Bah...To even think he'd get such an order like this.
'Train with C.U.R.E's Elite, it'll improve your capabilities'. What a joke, as if such a prime being as him had any reason for trivial training with Tanga's precious little Slave-bots. To think the woman would assign him to such a thing...He honestly couldn't help but feel a tad insulted.
Then again, Virus' strength was laughable in his current state. Deep down he knew that Tanga had a point, and Virus was truly and utterly weak...But his fragile pride wouldn't let him admit it. Despite everything though, they had made an agreement to aid eachother...And this was one way to aid her. 'Training' the runt of the litter.
His cold, hard footsteps echoed through the laboratory's steel halls. After the days that he spent roaming this place, he knew it like the back of his hand. A little birdy chirped of a specialized chamber built for the sole reason for the C.U.R.E rats to hone their skills. It only took a little digging for him to find the exact place.
The footsteps became increasingly louder as Virus approached the large chamber. It was the light at the end of these dark cybernetic tunnels, and inside he already saw the figures of his... 'Playmates'.
With a final droning step, Virus emerged from the shadowed hallways and entered the chamber. The harsh lighting reflected off of his Exoskeleton like a corpse exposed to the sun. A long, chittery hiss cut through the silence as Virus looked Makinarim and 72 dead in the eyes. Perhaps he'd get some enjoyment out of this.
A sickening, bone-chilling smile carved it's way onto his face.
Thread PL - 5,000 Cultivar PL - 5,000 The message was plain and simple. Its meaning was not. Clad in a fresh white coat, Nikel patiently watched the screen beside the elevator's door as it read off each floor in slowly ascending order. Though her work had demanded her attention for just a few minutes more, she was sure the fish man would understand her slight tardiness. Now that her Cultivar, as the company's face had put it, were in their beta testing phase, her newest project was getting off the ground, so to speak.
The small ding of the elevator's bell gave her cue, and the android put on a pleasant grin as the doors opened to the well-dressed hybrid.
"You have my attention, sir," she gave her belated answer to the man's message. Both hands remained in her pockets, one palming the bottle of seeds that would become her warriors.
It wasn't long before Makinarim was joined by their newest arrival, Android 72. So she was called down here as well. She had showed some skill when dealing with the security guards upon her first arrival here, but as many people say, there's always room for improvement. He returned the android's polite bow. "I cannot say. I was informed there would be more of us, but I wasn't told just who would be here. I can assume Ghoti would be here, as he was the one who pecured this place, but apart from that, I do not know."
As if one cue, the door to the training room opened up. Makinarim turned to see a tall, insect-like humanoid step into the room. Though this was their first actual meeting, Makinarim had heard of this individual. A bioandroid by the name of Virus, and a particularly powerful individual within C.U.R.E. Records had shown that he was on the same level as the CEO. Makinarim was a bit on the fence regarding bioandroids. While they were an evolutionary step up from regular old humans, they still suffered the regular limitations of most organic life forms. The need to eat, and their eventual deterioration and death. In Makinarim's eyes, cybernetics was the way of the future. But he wasn't opposed to working with them.
And as someone who was used to being regarded with unease due to his presence, he wasn't really disturbed by Virus' appearance. That was at least something they had in common. They were regarded with fear for appearance alone. He bowed his head respectably to him.
"Good day Virus. I assume you were called here as well."

Although she was granted access to the floor that housed the training area, that was all she was privy too. Her only other indication of how deep she was within the facility was the number of floors she felt the elevator pass on the way down. Part of her wished to see more, explore even to better understand the organization she was loosely a part of, but protocol demanded she remain on her best behavior. Any mistake or misstep on her part would directly affect Gerrard’s future.
No sooner had Makinarim clarified that the two of them would not be alone, did the first of their partners for the session arrived. Outwardly, 72 showed no reaction to the creatures less than savory appearance; discomfort not something a construct like her possessed. Gerrard on the other, able to view through her eyes recoiled only long enough for him to realize the significance of what was before him. Picking up multiple biological signals from the creature known as Virus, he was left uncertain of what it actually was. All he did know was that he wanted a piece of its tissue for experimentation. Retrieving one might be tricky, but that wasn’t a task for him.
”72. If the opportunity presents itself, I want a sample of that one. It is a species I have never seen before and might possibly be unique. Who knows what it is composed of.”
The androids silent agreement didn’t need to be vocalized or even run through her system, it was assumed. Instead, while Gerrard suddenly developed a deeper interest in this session, 72 maintained her external persona. Makinarim addressed the creature by name. To her that implied a level of respect that represented an equal standing within C.U.R.E.’s unknown hierarchy. If that was accurate, the creature outranked her just the same. Unsure if this Virus knew who she was, 72 formally introduced herself.
”Welcome, I am Android 72. Under contract by C.U.R.E. Industries, I am at your service.” She stated shortly, head dipped in the creature’s direction. Although bug like and near monstrous, speech revealed a level of intelligence that was initially unexpected. New to the company and new to each and every one of them, 72 was prepared to take a follower role. However, subservient or not, each and every aspect of this interaction was recorded and when time allowed accessed in great detail. Gerrard wanted to know who and what he was temporarily aligned with.

"Good to see you got my message," Ghoti spoke, his tone serious rather than his energetic personality. He closed the elevator and open up a special panel, while clarifying aloud to a voice command box as he put in quick set of numbers on a number pad, "Intern Nikel and Director Ghoti to the labs."
With that, the elevator scanned the elevator, detecting the Cultivar seeds and running a background check on them, before a green light was given and they begun headed down.
"A word of advice, Nikel, before we get down to the training room," Ghoti told Nikel, "I would not get on Virus's bad side. From what I understand about the project, it is highly aggressive, with intelligence to boot."
The elevator opened and there'd been an already lit up path going to the training room. Ghoti continued, "Follow me, Nikel. Only follow the lights."
Ghoti felt Virus moving around with his Ki sense. They must've been getting anxious waiting around. He followed the lights himself, still having issues maneuvering around this area, despite having been down here for a while himself undergoing the transformation that made him the magnificent man he was today! Granted, it wasn't possible to show that magnificence at the moment. He was briskly walking, and after some time, arrived at the outside of the training facility. He was able to see the glass that the others had grouped together for the training exercise.
"The large bug-like individual is one of the main Projects being worked on down here: Project Virus. A heavily adaptive entity comprising of some old, but substantially strong individuals from some time ago," Ghoti explained to Nikel, "The others are Android 72 and Makinarim, Makinarim also an android themself..."
Ghoti paused, opening the door and stepping into the room with the three. He spoke in his charming manner, although the serious tone remained, "Good day, everyone! I am director Ghoti, also known as Vaccine. I trust you all either know why you are here, or have been interested in why you've been brought here today. To satiate this curiosity, we are here to test several different parameters of your own abilities against Virus, as well as test the nature of Doctor Nikel's Cultivar. I will be overlooking you all for while you are within this training chamber with Doctor Nikel here. This is a non-lethal training exercise... Although, from what has happened before with the Cultivar, as Doctor Nikel shall explain shortly, should you be threatened by them, limitations on them, and only them are permitted! Miss Nikel?"

Nikel remained silent and motionless as the elevator evaluated them both for confirmed identification. Only when the fish man, who was much more serious than she had ever seen him to be, had addressed her, did she turn her head politely to face him. She surmised that this entity called Virus was the project which she was to test her warriors against, though the very basic information she was given on its temperament was quite similar to the very project she was to test.
"Understood, sir." Though she respectfully obliged the hybrid's concern, the mechanical woman smirked anxiously. A strong, temperamental fighter with some modicum of intelligence would give her much better data than a mere brute swinging its limbs about, after all.
As soon as the elevator doors had opened, her optical sensors widened much in the same sense as a human's eyes might dilate, and detected one distinct life force signature directly ahead. Beside it were two weaker energy signatures that surely belonged to androids of some sort.
Without a word, she followed the fish man's instruction and kept to the path created by the lights, where at the end, Ghoti began to exposite once more. Nikel answered him with a brief, approving hum as she looked through the glass and over the imposing specimen. Like Ghoti himself in a way, this Virus was unlike anything else on the planet, natural or otherwise. He was strong, too, though only marginally more so than an individual of her own warriors.
After the door was opened and she was introduced, the redheaded android stepped to the well-dressed man's side and began with false authority, "As Mr. Ghoti explained, we will be testing both Project Virus and my own Cultivated Warriors, or Cultivar, as he likes to say. The test itself will be strictly non-lethal to prevent any loss of property, though I can assure you that not taking this seriously may result in serious damage to yourselves."
As she spoke, Nikel removed the small bottle from her pocket and casually unwound its cap. With a quick tilt, she dropped two seeds to the metal floor in front of her before replacing the cap upon its bottle and the bottle within her pocket, then pulled one of her own hands from its wrist. With the long metal tendril free of the hollowed limb, she pointed the arm at the two seeds as a low hum began to build, and discharged a brief wave of enriched energy.
The budding process began immediately, so her hand was gently reattached with a soft click.
"If any of you are familiar with Saiyan psychology, you will recognize their unrivaled tenacity and lust for battle in my creation. They will not stop until ordered, so take this into consideration." As the buds bloomed, numerous roots searched in vain for dirt in which to dig, only creating a small patch of greenery to show for their efforts. It was at this time that a small life force began to emit from the plants, and the humanoid shapes began to take form. In seconds, the small, blue creatures were fully grown, and each shrieked with its own obnoxiously high-pitched laughter.
"Are there any questions?"
2 Cultivar grown at 2,500 PL each. Prototype (*2, Temporary) active, raising PL to 5,000 each.
Virus' tone lacked interest. If these two were going to be his playmates, it'd be quite the boring session. They seemed to lack personality, something that made them...Fun. Then again, they were robots...What did he expect? ''My, how formal you two are...Why so tense?'' Virus' head tilted to the side with a taunting, bone-chilling smirk.
He let out a chittery snicker as he stepped further into the room. ''So...Is this it?'' Virus' red eyes glanced to the two Androids. While he couldn't sense their power, the odds of either of them being even remotely close to Tanga or his own were...Low.
But right when he thought today wouldn't hold anything of interest, Virus picked up on something. There was an energy signature nearby, something he could actually sense. A mangled mix of Ki...Just like him. Virus' curiosity was peaked, it seemed their roster was not quite complete yet. His red eyes glanced toward the door in silence. From the window beside it he saw the thing that made him curious, along with a woman. Another Android? How dull...
Even more insulting was the other bio-creation. To think he shared a 'species' with something so...Comical.
Virus stood in silence as the door opened and the two walked inside. He was silent throughout the fish-man's speech, save for the irritated, chittery hiss every now and again. The woman, though...Having the gall to adress to him as a 'Project'...
After she was done explaining and showing off her ridiculously pathetic creations, Virus turned his entire body to face her, neck cracking loudly in the process. ''Yes.'' He grunted, clawed fingers flexing in anticipation.
''Do you really think your obnoxious plant-slaves compare to me?'' Virus spoke in a low, ominous tone. He stood to his full, towering height as he slowly walked towards Nikel. For a moment he simply stared at her, his shimmering, red eyes giving off nothing but a lust for blood. After a long silence, he smirked. ''I will save you and your pets for last...''
He truly did wonder what they tasted like. And the Android too, just for curiosity's sake.
Silently Virus turned around again, focussing his attention on the group of pathetic misfits. ''Now...Who's first?'' He smiled, taunting the group. In a swift, violent flash of purple light, a dark aura formed around Virus as he stood in place, his red eyes gleaming with a lust for combat.
Makinarim was starting to dislike this walking insect. The way it carried itself, seeing itself as superior to them. They were all members of C.U.R.E., allies in a common goal. And even though Virus was higher than him on the hierarchy, he could at least show some respect. Tanga was a lot more respectful to him. That's why he considered her the true leader of C.U.R.E. Virus was nothing more then an organic test subject.
Let's see how long that smugness lasts.[/b]
They were soon joined by Ghoti, their fish headed associate, and another android. Nickel. This would be the first time he would meet the scientist. It was good to meet another scientific mind in the organization. It seemed though they had been brought here to help test out Virus' capabilities, as well was something called a cultivator. Makinarim's face fell flat. So, they were basically being used as practise dummies for the pets huh? He couldn't help but feel a little insulted. He was a scientist dammit!
As the two little bio warriors were grown out of the ground, Makinarim quirked an eyebrow. So they were now mass producing bioandroids now? At Virus's critique of them, Makinarim couldn't help but bring in a small jab. "Would you prefer if they were based on you? Viruses do mass produce themselves, correct?" Though if they all were like the original, Makinarim would prefer there be only on Virus.
As the bioandroid charged up, ready for combat, he glanced over at Android 72, as a dark aura began to surround him. "Go on ahead my dear. I'm not much of a combatant myself."

Tense? Andoird 72 was incapable of being tense. Rigid perhaps, but never tense. She did lack a personality though or at least one developed behind what was needed to function.
Behind the scenes Gerrard’s interest in the creature stood at the opposite end of the spectrum from Virus’s own lack of it for this whole situation. However, the man’s desire to observe this strange monster deep into the C.U.R.E. facility had encountered a small hiccup. Whether it was the amount of material the signal needed to go through or interference from countless other wireless signals in the place, his audio and visual feed began to fail. Broken words attempted to convey the message to 72, but she was unable to hear them clearly enough to understand. Communication with her creator momentarily broken, she continued to record as instructed. She saw no long term issue. Any footage could be transferred to him when she left the facility.
On her own for the time being she didn’t push to reconnect. Any strange activity might let the others catch on that she wasn’t the only one invited into their organization. Not even a full minute after she lost the connection, a pair of individuals arrived that she knew Gerrard would be curious about as well. Like Virus, the Director was a creature unlike any other, his body humanoid, but with the head of a fish. A head usually reserved for creatures that lived under the water’s surface didn’t appear to hinder him in the least. In fact he spoke perfectly fine regardless of his thick lips.
Accompanied by the red headed Doctor Nikel, 72 stole a glance at Makinarim. C.U.R.E. definitely had a spread when it came to intellectual individuals. The wonder of how the company was so far ahead of the competition dwindled with each member she met. Even the giant bug like creature appeared to possess enough intelligence to rival any humanoid one might find on Earth.
In robotic silence she listened to the Director and Doctor, the reason she was here perfectly laid out for her. Virus and these “Cultivar” needed to be tested. What better sort of opponents to throw them against than expendable machines? Comfortable that Gerrard wouldn’t object to her engaging either of them she was a little unsure if revealing her full potential was the right choice. Designed to search above all else, her systems did possess adequate energy reserves, but her arsenal was limited. Yet, with her creator out of the picture for this session she was obligated to serve those she was contracted under. By the sounds of it Makinarim, Director Ghoti and Doctor Nikel all possessed enough authority to issue her commands and with Makinarim’s simple statement it was clear they all wanted the same thing.
”As you wish.”
Unable to sense their energy levels she planned to give them the highest level challenge she was capable of. Before she moved toward any of them an audible hum began to emanate from her similar in fashion to that of Doctor Nikel. Additionally, the blue glow from the visible energy conduits on her arm and neck intensified. Systems unlocked to access the full depths of her power, the androids energy output tripled in an instant as she entered her overdrive state. An open invitation from Virus put on the floor, one of the creatures she was directed to test, she launched towards him with a burst of air from the barely visible vents along her back. Rocketing towards the creature at her maximum speed, 72 pulled up short only to take to the air as her momentum shifted, right leg coming up as she performed a full rotation with her right boot aimed for the side of Virus’s head.
Test number one, reaction time.

Quick reminder to you, Makinarim! There is no charging unless it's a signature with the charging trait! I would advise removing that note at the end there, since this technique's a barrier type. Also, the correct tagging is V2, not UV2. Just making sure it was cleared up! Now then... Let the fighting commence!
"Bup-up," Ghoti spoke up to Virus, "Don't underestimate them, Virus. They created as much havoc last week as Chromo did just recently. You'll find them to be most exciting to deal with!"
Makinarim's energy, while unsensible by the means of that 6th sense, had become visible quickly. Ghoti's scouter pin went off, the energy readings coming from not Makinarim, but Android 72! The fish man gawked for but a moment, before looking to Nikel and telling her, going right to the door as he did this, "Miss Nikel, we don't want to be in the room... 72, do not go too overboard with your power! Makinarim, you are best to come out of here as well. This room is about to become very explosive..!"
The door opened up with Ghoti briskly stepping out of the room, the door still opened behind him as he waved for them to come join him in a hurried manner. There was an intercom and control panel for the room outside, should the individuals inside get too out of hand that Ghoti would man the moment Makinarim and Nikel stepped out of the room!

Advice to all fighting participants: There'll undoubtedly be a large amount of activity among you guys, so keep it brief and concise!
A wide, smug grin returned the amalgamated organism's threat without words. She was beginning to like this Project Virus, even if the creature's appearance left much to be... desired. For a moment, she wondered just what had gone into the soup that'd made the creature, and what she might've been able to get out of it today to improve on her own designs.
Yet, those thoughts and more were best left for now. As her optical sensors dilated again, she glanced at the mechanical being known only by her number, 72, and made note of this particular ability. To increase her physical abilities on a whim like so wasn't unheard of, yet always helpful to know. So, as the hybrid man escorted her out of the room and to much safer accommodations, Nikel made sure to record the other android's unique energy signature for later evaluation.
"You two, do as you wish." The redhead gave the single, simple order to her creations, metaphorically letting them off their leash in order to see how well they fought on instinct alone. While she followed after Ghoti, the two Cultivar chattered between themselves and only grew more excited. Then, as the battle began proper, they shrieked loudly, and pounced upon their prey.
Driven by their lust for battle and bloodshed, the pair of blue creatures leapt upon 72 as she turned her attention to the one known as Virus. With teeth restrained behind biological masks, their claws and talons gleamed with murderous intent as they slashed. With incredible ferocity, they used their numbers to their advantage and pressed the attack without relief, aiming not to disable, but to do harm.
''Oh, please.'' Virus nearly laughed at Ghoti's ridiculous claim. ''At least Chromo shares some of my DNA. These things are nothing but an insult...''
Virus' ego was clearly showing, and it seemed the odd-looking pale faced Android wasn't particularly enjoying his clear superiority. With an amused snicker Virus' head turned toward Makinarim, shrugging playfully. ''Well, I do like to think the world would be a better place if everyone had a bit of me in them.'' He spoke confidently. Virus couldn't help but be entertained by the Android's clear annoyance, it seemed they weren't completely lacking in emotion after all.
72 was quickly called to action, who seemed to comply nearly instantly. Her power seemed to increase, and Ghoti seemed terrified of the result. ''Hhrr?'' Virus chittered curiously, his eyes moving toward 72. Really now? Ghoti must've been exaggerating...
Suddenly, 72 charged at him with reckless abandon, much faster than Virus could even comprehend! ''WHAT?!'' The Bio-Android shouted darkly, before being met with a swift, powerful kick to the jaw. A bone-chilling snarl came from Virus as he tumbled toward the walls of the chamber, quickly ramming his claws into the floor and grinding to a halt.
''Ghaa...Haaah...''Virus panted, feeling himself exhilirated at the sudden challenge. He stood straight, before wiping the blood from his mouth. ''You androids are such a pain to combat...-'' He paused, cracking his neck loudly. ''No matter.''
Virus fell deadly silent after his words, his fleshy wing-like appendages flexing in a sudden surge of power. His claws dug into the floor as he stood on all fours, his maw opening widely with a disgusting crack. A blood-red orb of putrid destruction began to form infront of Virus' mouth, swelling with demonic energies.
After an ear-shattering whizz the energy reached it's peak, before being blasted right at Android 72!
