It was a nice, sunny day in the prosperous south. The remote beach Lao stood upon glowed a perfect golden hue, with the vast sea glittering like a sapphire in the distance. It was exactly the kind of day you'd expect people to go to the beach. But Lao wasn't here to relax! Sitting on this sunny beach while the cool breeze ruffled his hair was absolutely part of his training! "Ehhh, who am I kidding?" Lao sighed, flopping down onto his back and staring up at the cloudless sky. "I'm completely out of ideas. There's only so much training you can do on your own!" It was true, he had been pushing himself to his limits lately, but he had faced an unexpected problem: He couldn't think of more intense training to do! In times like these he'd usually consult his library of martial arts books and magazines, but those normal training routines no longer did him any good. Lao hated to admit it, but he had gotten too strong for his normal training regimen. He'd need to come up with something better.
As he lounged on the sand, Lao let his senses drift. It was relaxing in a way, casting your mind out into the void like this. He could feel the energy of the seagulls overhead, the crabs scuttling along the ocean floor... and "WHAT IS THAT?!" Lao shouted, as he sat up suddenly, breaking out in a cold sweat. An incredibly high power level, and nearby too! It wasn't as powerful as the ones he had sensed fighting up north that one time, but...
"It's coming this way. Is this just a coincidence?" Lao muttered to himself, caught between fear and excitement.

It’s been a while, oh yes it has indeed since Auber went to the beach, and he had to admit, most likely way too long, the relaxing breeze and the free atmosphere, he can see why many Earthlings make their way here.
As he wanders around the beach, Auber let his ki flow naturally out of his body, he had to learn how to hide his energy, people are gonna take advantage of this sooner or later, but for now, he’s simply going to relax.
Or is he? Auber’s own sensing skills came into play, and he found himself looking at one specific Earthling, he wasn’t terribly strong but definitely special among Earth’s people.
He decided to approach the man, hands in his jacket’s pockets as the breeze made said jacket flutter a slight bit, and once close enough..
“Hello there, might I have a moment of your time?”

As Lao anxiously awaited the arrival of the large aura he'd been sensing, he decided to get to his feet in case it turned out to be trouble. As it drew closer, Lao was surprised to see that the energy he had been sensing belonged to... some guy? As the man approached, Lao realized a few things. First, that this guy was tall! Second, Lao was certain this man wasn't human. His aura was distinctly alien... was this a Saiyan? They looked pretty human at first glance, or so he had been told. Having never met one himself, Lao couldn't really be sure. "Hoy, stranger." Lao greeted the mysterious fellow, in his usual, friendly way. First impressions are important, after all.
The man asked Lao for a moment of his time, in a surprisingly polite tone. Lao had heard that Saiyans were all a rough-and-tumble sort of people, but this guy seemed downright sophisticated. Well, you learn new things everyday. Lao thought, considering how to answer the request. It's not like Lao didn't have time to kill, but what could this alien want? Then again... if Lao could help him out, perhaps the stranger would give Lao some insight into how he got so strong. That was more than enough incentive for Lao, and he replied promptly. "Sure, friend. I'm not doing much at the moment, how can I help ya?"

The man gave Auber the go-ahead to which the Saiyan nodded “First of all, may I inquire as to your name?” He asked, keeping a neutral and polite smile on his features.
Auber sensed his energy once more, and now Auber was sure this man was the source of the above average human ki, most likely someone who’s been training a lot.
Whether or not he had gotten the stranger’s name, he’d continue speaking “You see, I have a very special ability, one that you could say gives me the power to differentiate between the powerful and the weak, it’s a sense that detects someone’s very energy...
And you have an exceptional amount, for an Earthling that is.” Auber let that message hang in the air, his smile extending a bit more than what would be considered neutral.“As a Saiyan, it is in my nature to seek out opponents in order to clash with, the feeling of adrenaline and thrill is one unlike any other, so...” He looked the human right in the eye, his hands leaving his pockets as the breeze seemed to intensify, and the beach around them seemed empty to the tension the Saiyan hopes he has created, “What do you say?”

Lao couldn't help but smile when the saiyan (Lao was a little proud he had guessed correctly on his first time seeing one) made his proposal. What are the chances? An incredibly strong Saiyan just happens to be passing by and senses his energy, and decides to challenge Lao to a match. It was almost too good to be true. And yet, here they stood...
"Of course, I accept. In fact, I'd never pass up the chance to take on a powerful opponent! I sensed your ki before you set foot on this beach, and I know you're way more powerful than me. Don't worry, I don't hold it against you or anything..." Lao's eyes took on a strange gleam as he began to get excited by the prospect of an uphill battle.
"... In fact, there's nothing more educational than fighting someone stronger than you! Teach me well, Saiyan!" with this, Lao released his ki in full and began to flood his body with every ounce of power he had in him. The exertion of that much ki sent sand and rocks flying in every direction away from Lao, as his pure white aura flared around him like flames. He wouldn't be able to keep this output up for very long, but Lao figured he'd need it just to keep up. He had to make sure this fight lasted as long as possible, to learn everything he could from the Saiyan's technique! Finally taking his stance, Lao readied himself to receive his opponent's first move. "Come!"

Auber chuckled to himself as he heard the human’s response, it seems he had found someone who was more saiyan than he was human, getting excited at the prospect of a fight and seeing it as educational.
Breath of fresh air, Auber would most certainly admit, “You’re quite the unique one, very well then, let’s see how long you last.” He declared, as he got in a stance.
He blasted off towards his opponent, his ki, a dark-purple aura that seemed to radiate off of the young saiyan, practically floored out of him as he advanced.
He attempted to throw a jab at the man, followed by a horizontal kick from his right leg, Auber would start small and work his way up until the man found his limit.

Lao was grateful that he took the time to prepare for the Saiyan's coming assault, as he knocked the jab away with a forearm block and just managed to duck under the follow-up kick by a razor-thin margin. The Saiyan was fast- the two of them were almost evenly matched. At least, for now they were. Lao knew he wouldn't be able to keep this pace up for long; he could feel his bones creaking with the stress of pushing himself to these speeds. As the fight dragged on, Lao would weaken and tire while the Saiyan would be able to reserve his energy. That meant that he had only one tactic available: An all-out assault. He'd either win in the next few exchanges or miss his chance and lose.
Lao, resolved on his course of action, would attempt to strike his opponent with a one-two punch combination to the chest, avoiding going for the head because of the tall Saiyan's incredible height advantage, followed up with a swift roundhouse kick to the midsection. Mustering all his speed, Lao would then attempt to maneuver behind the Saiyan, betting on him possibly being stunned by Lao's combo. Once behind, Lao thrust one arm forward and unleashed a basketball-sized orb of pure white ki from his outstretched palm, aimed directly for the Saiyan's (hopefully) exposed back. "Nenshōken!" Once the attack was fired, Lao would go back on the offensive before even seeing if his technique worked, rushing in at the Saiyan with a flying kick, hoping to keep the pressure on.

Auber could certainly appreciate a fight, as unique as he may be in intellect and etiquette, he is still a saiyan at heart and genes, and a good boost of adrenaline was something they all desired, in the form of a brawl, especially.
He smiled as the human successfully blocked his attacks, and countered with his own, Auber held up his arms in a boxing stance, blocking the human’s punches before hopping back to avoid the kick.
The wind that picked up on his velocity just fuelled his excitement, his opponent clearly trained, or at least had a good idea of the basics, Auber pondered for a moment why he hadn’t come across more people like him.
His thoughts were brought to an abrupt halt as he sensed energy behind him, so that was his strategy? Stun Auber with a basic combo and then attempt to unleash his assault from there? Props to him for making an effort to strategise but unluckily for him.
Auber wasn’t one to be paralysed so easily, he turned around and grinned at the man, right as he let loose the blast of energy that was coming towards the saiyan.
Auber simply remained there, until the energy inevitably reached him, only to reveal it wasn’t Auber standing there but merely a shadowy duplicate that soon disappeared on collision!
The real form of the Saiyan made itself known as Auber attacked his opponent from a different direction, preferably from behind, and attempted to land a kick onto the human’s back “Not good enough!” He stated in regards to the man’s strategy.

"Tch. My attack failed." Lao muttered to himself as the slippery Saiyan's afterimage disappeared from view. Just as he said so, Lao noticed his opponent coming in from behind, a few seconds too late, and took a crushing blow right to the spine. As all the air was driven out of his body, Lao simply fell on his hands and knees, gasping for breath. As he recovered, Lao looked up to see a light shining in the sky. Too dim to be the sun... Oh! It's my Nenshōken! he thought, observing its trajectory. After missing the Saiyan, it had just kept going up into the sky. That gave Lao an idea...
With a sudden burst of speed, Lao appeared in the path of his own energy blast, now rather far from the battlefield, and caught the burning orb of ki in his outstretched hand. "I've still got use for this!" he shouted, charging at the Saiyan from afar. When he closed in, Lao would swing the energy blast like a weapon, attempting to literally bludgeon the Saiyan over the head with his Nenshōken! After a few wild swings, assuming he didn't hit, he would take a leap and swing down the orb from above, as if dunking a basketball with the Saiyan's head as the net. If it made contact, the Nenshōken would surely explode in both of their faces.
Lao attempts yet again to hit Auber with his Nenshōken, for 16,500 potential damage! || KP Remaining: 5/7 || Damage: 0%

Auber’s attack was a success however he wouldn’t count his opponent out just yet, for the next thing that the human did was simply intriguing.
He managed to reflect his own attack back at the saiyan once more, it simply showed the bizarre techniques that the human race can achieve.
In any case, Auber successfully avoided the first few, wild, swings until his enemy decided to dunk the attack onto him, Auber held his arms out in an ‘x’ fashion to take the brunt of the attack but the explosion burned like he expected all the same.
Using grit and effort, Auber attempted to be the first to recover and fly at the human, battering him with a combination of jabs, kicks and knees onto his being.
“My turn!” He announced as he charged up what appeared to be a dark-purple vortex of energy that soon made itself into the shape of a sphere, brimming with energy.
Auber chucked the ball of energy at his human opponent, the blast wheezing through the air towards him.
Using [A1] Darkness Blast!

Apologies for the late post! Time really flies when you're under quarantine.
Lao was prepared for the Saiyan to be able to endure his attack. He seemed like a pretty sturdy fellow, and he was stronger than Lao was anyway. It would have been naive to assume he'd go down just from that. What Lao hadn't prepared for was for Auber to counterattack so quickly! He was hard-pressed to defend himself from the Saiyan's barrage of attacks, and he knew the bruises on his arms from blocking them would sting later. When Auber made some distance to charge up some kind of energy attack, it was almost a relief. Now free of the harrowing barrage, Lao had time to think before he acted. He prepared himself for the coming blast of sinister-looking purple energy just in time, and evaded it with a swift side-step.
Now that he had made his way out of danger for the time being, Lao had to turn his mind back to offense. He could feel his strength draining away with every moment, and he had to keep the pressure on if he wanted to keep this fight going. "I haven't learned enough... Let's do this!" Rushing forward, Lao would start off his wild barrage of attacks with a powerful roundhouse kick, transitioning into a rush of basic, but sharp punches and knee strikes. He hadn't found an opening in the saiyan's formidable defenses yet, but if he kept pushing... surely something would appear!

Auber smirked, the human was much more sharp than most, it's enough for a quick thrill he supposed, with that, he once more charged in against his opponent, while said opponent was also going for him, with that, they clashed in a battle of physical strength, punches and kicks.
Auber kept his arms in a boxing stance, managing to block the punches and kicks of the human, before following with his own barrage of punches and kicks, aiming to pressure the opponent with his superior strength, he pondered for a moment how long his sparring opponent could hold until he began to tire.
In any case, Auber cared not, he quickly charged up another dark-purple vortex of energy in his hand and shot it in a faster motion than last time, this time they were much closer and Auber's smirk seemed to extend into a vicious grin, as he tossed the Darkness Blast at a point-blank distance right at the human opponent.
Afterwards, he'd simply continue on, charging at the human should he have attempted to create distance, and resuming a barrage of punches and kicks, smirk back in place, putting more force into his attacks now.
