Power Level Indicator: Whisker's PL: 18,000
Months after the strange arrival of a small insectoid, New Spei had all but gone back to normal for the Hakaijin known as Whisker and the other inhabitants of the island. A recent storm brought about a seemingly endless rain, and though the island was prepared to weather it, its ceaselessness brought about uncertainty. Today, on one of the calmer rainy days, many of the island's fishermen took a chance and went out to take care of the food supplies, as they had dwindled over the course of a few weeks, leaving the stomachs of the women and children far from full. In an attempt to be more of an asset to this small village he called home, Whisker ran about on this dreary day, repairing any damage to the buildings that might have been caused by the storm and hunting in the nearby forests for food. It is on this day that we resume our story.
Wandering through the streets after having repaired three windows in various homes, Whisker took a moment to escape under the cover of a nearby tree in order to dry himself and clean his fur. The rain hadn't been as rough as previous days but with how thick his fur was, he couldn't risk it getting soaked. He had been in the forest earlier and hunted down a few deer for breakfast, but one person wasn't enough to feed a whole village, even with a good day's hunt. Still, he had to make due until the fishermen came back. They left early in the morning and had yet to return, which put more than worry on Whisker's brow. Would they be alright on the choppy waters? What if the storm suddenly gets worse? His thoughts left him in a daze as minutes passed without effort. If only there were a sign as to what he should do. If only the rain would break away for just a moment...

Starting PL: 44,000 It had been some time since her battle with the Saiyan in the forest; she would have liked to have called it a draw, but the very clear outcome that came with fighting a giant simian was hard to dispute. Still, Cress seemed like an honorable man; perhaps she would see him again. Now, many months after her encounter, Zriracha had made it her mission to understand the intricacies of this world, Earth. So far, she’d been at a loss for what to do since the President hadn’t given her a straight answer and she’d not taken Mumbo up on his offer for a home. Instead, she’d traveled from city to city, disguised as a Human, to learn about how best to make a life here. She’d contemplated a return to the Demon Realm, but that was far too dangerous. Walking through the rains in high heels and a business suit, Zriracha would walk as ‘Zira’ – although she wasn’t exactly in what one would call ‘water wear’. She hadn’t really thought to materialize a swimsuit… Through the rain, she spotted a small creature under the protection of a tree. She squinted, eyeing the little cape and split-colored face of the feline. She approached, her 5’ 10” height easily overshadowing the creature, “What are you doing out in the rain? You look soaked, little one.” She knelt down, hardly minding the water and mud soaking her skirt before she materialized a small umbrella and hovered it over them both. Power Level Indicator: Whisker's PL: 18,000
It took a few moments before Whisker even noticed the presence of this stranger. She was definitely not an islander, that much Whisker knew for sure. How did she get here? He hadn't heard that anyone new had come to the island since the storm started. She didn't seem like any of the normal visitors, either. His ear twitched gently as his focus came back to him. He stood up and pointed to the dear carcasses just a few meters away and to the hammer and nails at his side. "I'm working." His voice was as small as he was, but he nevertheless seemed calm and collected, if not a bit confused. "I didn't think anyone was gonna come out here in the storm like this. How did you get here, miss?" He dragged the deer corpses a little closer with ease and hopped into the tree with great agility. He tied the deer upside down to make butchering easier once it was ready to be done. When he hopped back down with a tiny thud, he smiled and put his hands on his hips. "Let me be the first to welcome you to New Spei! Sorry about the mud! Anything I can do to help ya?" Whisker seemed eager to please, and yet he also seemed to be moving autonomously, as if he had been programmed to carry on with his daily duties even during the worst of weather.

The southern part of the blue pearl of the galaxy formally known as Earth was not an area in which Polarus loved to frequent in, as it was normally the complete opposite of that of his own homeworld- hot, humid, and very, VERY watery. However, the thirst for knowledge on the very race that did his precious people wrong was stronger than that of the hatred of the warmer climates of the planet, so the Arcosian royal now found himself on one of the islands located in the Southern Tropics attempting to ask around about the Saiyan race. Not necessarily surprising circumstances, Arcosians and Saiyans have always been getting off on the wrong foot with each-other for millennia, it seemed natural at this point, but most definitely unusual to the island goers who were seemingly just trying to brace themselves with a more crueler weather pattern than usual. He sympathized slightly with the Earthlings, even with the ones that were clearly not the run of the mill human, knowing that things on his home-world (Not, Arcose, to be specific, his family had chosen to conquer a different planet during the golden days of the World Trade Fleet for their own personal usage) had not been in the least fortunate. If you considered a rogue squad of Saiyan warriors that had broken off from the main Saiyan Kingdom fleet attacking your people after gaining your trust bad luck, anyways.
Cloaked, and within his true form, Polarus walked around the muddied island landscape with a contemplative, though hard to make any expression out with his face mask on, look on his face as his eyes looked through the small village of people before him. Some villagers looking in amazement, and others in slight worry. He raised a hand upward to show that he was of no harm, and continued on with his business, taking off and shaking off his black hooded overcoat of rain for a couple moments before putting it back on, sighing. Dry heat he could take, but a moist, disgusting, humid heat coupled with a hard rain? Utterly uncouth. But, again, his love for his people surpassed the need for comfort, and he continued walking through the streets, looking for anything or anyone that could be of any particular use to him.
Soon enough, his eyes laid themselves upon an interesting sight. Two figures huddled under a larger sized tree, seemingly to escape the brunt of the rain, one of which looked like some sort of animal and the other an actual person. On surface-level, at least. Deciding that they, hopefully, wouldn't mind another persons company, Polarus walked on over to the two- his massive total height of nine feet four inches enabling him to tower over both beings, nearly making him as tall as the tree they were standing under. Realizing he could use this height to make things more comfortable for the shorter company, he first grabbed the other few carcasses and began to tie them to the tree, following the example left by Whisker himself, and afterward, bent over both the cat and the demon slightly to act as a cover from the rain.
After looking upward at the gray cloudy skies overhead, Polarus then returned his attention to the other two, asking, "How come such a small being like you is out here doing all of this grunt-work by yourself? That sounds like, what do the Earthlings call it? A recipe for disaster? And as for you, miss-" He turned to look at Zriracha exclusively for a second before continuing, "You seem oddly clothed for such an environment. Though it looks as though you were planning on assisting the little one here as well, so I assume you have good intentions. If it isn't too overbearing, who are the two of you? Are you both from this island?"

Zriracha tilted her head at the declaration of this young felines’ current endeavor, looking over at the carcass and tools with interest. This small thing dragged the deer around all by itself? She wouldn’t normally have believed it yet – the scent of power not normal exhibited by this one was incontrovertible evidence; in addition to seeing them literally pull and tie off the beast with ease. How very impressive! She stood up from the mud as her new acquaintance hopped back down and introduced her to the town, eliciting a small smile from the glamoured Human. “Thank you very much. I am known as-” She paused, catching sight of another that had appeared – to say that their visage was… striking, would have been a disservice to just how imposing they were. With a swallow, she watched wearily as he approached before his actions spoke of his character – assisting in tying up the rest of the kills. His form loomed over them both before the questions came. She stared up at him, nearly starry-eyed before she blinked and cleared her throat. “I am, uh… this rain is nothing, though I appreciate your gallantry. My name is Zira, though I am not exactly from around here. I’ve come to-” She paused, trying to come up with a reason on the fly. She’d only just recently learned that there were Humans that did construction work and Humans that oversaw said construction work. She’d not yet made an identity for the fake visage she’d created “-I’m an appraiser. I’m here to assess the value of these lands and see if the major cities have interest in funding the construction of this village.” Oh, that was a terrible lie! Can’t you do better?! Zriracha admonished herself mentally, but didn’t drop the nervous smile as she looked up at the Arcosian. Whisker

Power Level Indicator: Whisker's PL: 18,000
Whisker blinked as the massive creature approached the two of them. More strangers? This is the most exciting things have been since that little bug guy came around! What an odd time for these strangers to visit this island, he thought. Looking back at this creature in wonder. He was huge! The biggest creature he had ever seen! His interest was focused almost entirely on him for more than a moment before he shook his head and smiles. "Welcome, welcome strangers! er- I mean Zira aaaand... I'm sorry mister, I didn't get your name. My name is Whisker and I live here, but I wasn't born here. I came from somewhere far away..." Whisker's demeanor became distant for a moment, as if remembering a bad dream. As quickly as it appeared, it disappeared and he bowed to the two new acquaintances he had just made. "Thanks for your help, sir! I'm doin this because the rest of the hunters and fishermen are out doin their parts and I was bored being stuck inside. Besides! I gotta keep my training up if I ever wanna live up to my master's name!" His massive grin betrayed both pride and a reluctance to let go of a childish nature. "I'm sorry you haven't been given a proper tour of the area, but like I said, the fishermen left earlier this morning and haven't come back yet. I was gonna go check on em soon, but I can't let guests go unaided! All the shops are closed right now because of the weather, but I can show you around if you'd like! You're an appraiser miss Zira? That's so cool! I've never met someone like that! We could really use the help around here, especially in times like this. The storm has really taken it out of us." Whisker shook his fur a bit as the rain soaked their surroundings. Even under cover, because of the difference in height, it was inevitable that some of the water would get onto Whisker, but his coat seemed well maintained despite the circumstances. His cloak was even folded up a bit to prevent it from getting muddy. With every word he spoke, he kept his cloak close to him and out of harm's way, for it was his most prized possession. He seemed confident for such a young Hakaijin, and almost unaffected by the situation at large.

"Careful with the thrust, this town is so small I couldn't get reliable coordinates on the location. A wrong move and you could end up shaving off an unfortunately large part of it." The warning probably wasn't necessary. Freige trusted his crew and their handling of The Venerator and they were aware of his faith. However, it was especially important that nothing went wrong with this mission. With recent developments in the state of Arcosian affairs, Freige thought it prudent to spend some of his time on this foreign planet doing something that could benefit his planet and people as a whole. "Remember to brake a few dozen meters from the perimeter. Don't want them to think there's an alien invasion going on."
"Temperature is a bit... high. Humidity levels are fifty-seven percent above normal rates, presumably due to a recent storm sweeping through the area." One of the crew noted, causing the Viceroy to grimace. He barely found the North tolerable on its' own, let alone the heated South to which they had traveled. He wouldn't suffer adverse affects like normal humans would - 'heatstroke' they called it? No, the temperature was just... annoying. Very much so. He'd make due. "Precipitation is underway. Rating not high enough to count as destructive." That would make his job a tad more difficult, but with his natural ability to sense energy, he could easily weed out poor candidates right away.
Roaring over the blackened, stewing waters, The Venerator came to an abrupt but cushioned halt as land became visible. The rain that pelted against the metal of the ship slicked off in sheets, the blue glow of the exhausts and ports giving the ship an eerie glow as it floated, still and without noise. "Hm?" Freige stirred, tilting his head. Three signatures had come into range, all of pleasantly high Power Level. Perhaps this trip would be more lucrative than initially anticipated. "Now would be the best time to head out." He declared, hand wrapping around the deactivated Arondite and thumb tracing over the switch as one of the doors to the craft opened, letting in the sounds of hissing air and driving rain.
Despite the sky bath, the temperature still wasn't quite suited to his liking. Fine. He'd deal with it. Of course with no time to dilly dally, the Arcosian set course for the direction of the energy. The rain slicked off his bio-armor as if it were a coat, acting like an insulating suit against the elements. It wouldn't be long before he found himself before the sudden gathering. He landed a few meters away and with practiced grace, folded his arms behind his back and cleared his throat. "So this is where all these interesting Power Signatures have gathered. I'd expected anyone of note to be actively in the village, but that... tree seems to be providing good cover against the storm." He glanced at Polarus, a flicker of recognition passing over his eyes from their sparse meeting in Yunzabit. "Do any of you happen to be residents? I've a message to deliver there in all due haste."

The normally level-headed Arcosian royal usually didn't dilly dally too much upon peoples responses to his naturally outrageous height advantage- but something about the way both Zriracha and Whisker lingered gazes on him did make him feel a bit more, how did these people put it, larger than life? Knowing that hubris was a trait too many of his own kinsmen were taken ahold of, Polarus was well aware of how dangerous letting such small things go to his head, but nonetheless he did feel a tad bit more confident in his own appearance as Zriracha specifically stared at him starry-eyed for much more than a moment or two. It was alright to feel a little cocky from time to time, wasn't it? Shaking it off soon afterward, though, Polarus tuned back into the conversation once Zriracha had reignited the spark of it, his eyebrows raising slightly as he heard that she was actually an appraiser of sorts. Looking now once more at her clothing and get up overall, he could see where she was coming from. Back on his homeworld, being of royal status, he had meetings with many well-known appraisers for more business related inquiries, most of them being decent enough individuals, though of course some of them attempted to hoodwink the tall-cosian into deals less fair than most, which did end quite poorly for them and all the more lucrative for Polarus.
Returning once more to the topic at hand, Polarus then decided to answer Zriracha first, saying, and disregarding the nervous ticks as more from his appearance rather than a faulty story, "An appraiser, you say? Perhaps you could be of use to me then. I have history with many an appraiser back on my home-world, and due to the nature of my purposes here on Earth you could be a valuable asset. You would be paid accordingly of course and all that, however, such things can be discussed later- under an actual roof and, preferably, drier conditions. Oh, and no need to be embarrassed about the rain- I know most people would prefer not to be under constant fire, and you are dressed quite well for the occasion, so it would be a shame for your well-kempt image to be ruined by such preventable sources."
Turning then to the smaller of the three there presently, the noble couldn't help but grin from within his face mask as the youngling began to do out with the formalities, welcoming both, Zira, was it? And himself to the island. He was certainly both welcoming in sight and in action, and so Polarus already found himself enjoying his novel presence. There was something oddly inspiring about a feline-like being whose origin was from beyond the stars putting in the hard yards to help his fellow countrymen make a decent living even during the rougher times. Which made all the more reason for Polarus to assist the young lad in any way, shape, or form, especially upon hearing how the storm had hit his village people quite hard. He sympathized with the catman, being of noble descent naturally made it so that he had his own people to worry about, and so he knew exactly how it feels when the people that he cared about the most were suffering. You were to do all that you could to help, no matter what.
Respect for Whisker already quite strong, Polarus went so far as to offer his own strength and services to the kitty, saying, "That is quite the story you have there, Whisker, yes? I would be more than happy to hear you fill, both of us, in on your story as we help you out a little bit. You wouldn't mind of course, right Zira? Afterall, such a determined young lad shouldn't be left so mercilessly alone in conditions such as these, no? Where exactly would we st-"
His train of thought was then interrupted by the arrival of another being on the scene, this time someone he was quite familiar with. As Freige touched down before the group of three, the fellow Arcosian gave a nod to his kinsman- Freige was a respectable member of his race, someone who's already gained his respect in many ways. He wondered why he was here now, and soon enough his question was answered by another question inquired by Freige himself, who was looking for a resident of the island to deliver a message to.
"Salutations, Freige," Polarus greeted him as he gestured for the man to join them underneath, well, him, and the cover from the rain. "If I find it difficult to remain in an environment such as this, you must be feeling utterly putrid. Come join us under here, this young boy by the name of Whisker is indeed a resident of this village, so as long as it isn't too long-winded of a message, I'm sure your business can be settled right here."

Oh, look what you’ve done now, Zriracha noted inwardly with a hidden scream of horror. You knew you should have practiced more during ‘Fibbing Fatalies 101’! Now they truly believe you have some authority in land appraisal! She looked between the Arcoasian and Whiskers, a faint and strained smile on her face as she listened to the offer Polarus described. Hopefully, she could continue her fib long enough to actually get some knowledge and at least play off some truth. However, as he turned his attention to their welcoming feline, Zriracha would notice that the young feline creature was trying their best to not get his coat wet. Gently, she leaned back down and offered her arms out to Whiskers, “Here, let me help you up. I can see that you are trying to keep that coat of yours clean,” She would offer softly. Should he accept, she would stand back up and smile at him. “We’ll go inside and wait for the fishermen to return; get cleaned up in the meantime,” She laughed, looking down at her own distressed clothing. It was a nice reprieve from the events… when they seemed to have attracted another visitor. The power this one exhibited was more powerful than the last Arcosian and she had to breathe calmly to keep from getting overwhelmed by the spicy scents of power. Their conversation seemed to take a turn that would put Whiskers in the focus and so, ‘Zira’ made a gesture to towards one of the shacks that wasn’t quite repaired in all it’s glory but at least provided a roof, “I believe you have the right of it…” She paused, not quite aware of the larger Arcosian’s name, though she did learn that the messenger’s name was Freige. She laughed, “My apologies, I didn’t catch your name. Come, let’s all get dry until the rain passes.” She started the way, holding her umbrella up and above her and Whiskers (If he’d accepted her arm-pooling services) and quickly make her way inside – leaving the door open for Freige and Polarus to follow. Once inside, she would set Whiskers down and allow the umbrella to disappear with a POOF! Without realizing it the previously mud-soaked skirt would seem to magically begin to mend itself until it no longer appeared that she was even wet! Clothes these days! Her focus was not on her clothes, however, as she looked around at the sturdy build of the shack, “Gracious, and it’s survived this long in the storm... You must be quite carpenter to be able to repair these buildings as you have,” She complimented down at Whiskers. Whisker

Power Level Indicator: Whisker's PL: 18,000
In the midst of trying to keep his cloak off the ground, Whisker looked over to see the friendly Zira offering a lift to the small cat. Before he could accept though, yet another stranger appeared. Oh my, so many new faces! Whisker thought, looking up in surprise as the newest Arcosian appeared in front of him. Hopping up into Zira's arms, he looked over to the newly introduced Freige and smiled, waving his hand in response. "Yes, I live here. This has been my home for a couple years. News you say? I can bring you to our mayor once he gets back with the rest of the fishermen! But maybe we should go inside first... It's pretty wet outside and it looks like the storm is getting worse." As they made their way inside one of the older houses and Zira put whisker down, he shook away some of the water from his fur and started cleaning himself quickly to pat his now extra fluffy fur down. Due to the storm in the region, the outside of the houses were quite difficult to identify, but being inside made it clear that these metal and wood houses were not built from materials found in their surroundings save for the repairs made recently. Parts of the metal resembled that of the interior of ships, the familiarity of which anyone in the room could identify with a passing glance. Standing tall at Zira's compliment with a big grin on his face, Whisker offered chairs to his new guests. Sturdy as they might be, they certainly looked home-made. "Sorry I couldn't provide better shelter, but there aren't many empty places around here right now. The storm has really made things hard on the town." Looking now at both Polarus and Freige, Whisker cocked his head, interested in why two Arcosians wound up at a place like this. "You two seem to know each other, are you both here on business? Miss Zira, you sure chose a weird time to come and assess the town! If I had known we'd have visitors, I woulda cleaned up the place!" Chuckling gently at his own comment, Whisker carefully dried off his cloak and hung it up, revealing a gently tattered and patchy Gi underneath. "Are you all hungry? Thirsty? IF the news is urgent, I can relay it to the mayor, or go and find them myself! I am great at finding people, haha!" His excitement only seemed to build as he looked more thoroughly at the two Arcosians in front of him. The unassuming Zira seemed to greatly contrast the bulky and towering physique of Polarus and Freige. Whisker's tail flicked in excitement!

"Polarus." He tilted his head in greetings, formally saying his hello now that the introduction had passed. Wordlessly taking the offer, he stepped a bit closer so the rain stopped pelting at his armor, maintaining a respectful distance from the rest of the group still. According to his fellow Arcosian, the aptly named Whisker was a local. He was unsure if the small cat-like being was an alien or a 'zoanthrope' native to the planet, as rare as they seemed to be. He gave a curious glance at 'Zira', eyes betraying nothing as he stared at the disguised Demon for a moment before diverting his gaze to follow after her and Whisker. If he noticed the veritable magic surrounding her, he said nothing.
"We've met." Freige stated in response to Whisker's inquiry. "Though we don't travel together." The smaller being mentioned something about Zira 'assessing' the town, though what for was up in the air. "You're a.. property surveyor?" He said blandly, head swiveling to focus his attention on the 'human'. "An odd time to pick for it. Where's the rest of your crew, if you have one? It's hardly easy to get out here alone on traditional transportation at the moment." His faux questioning ended as Whisker spoke up again. "Nothing for me at the moment. I ate and drank not too long ago on my own ship." He shuffled in place, attempting to seem as unassuming as a large, white-armored space lizard could.
"The news isn't particularly urgent, though I'd rather it be done sooner rather than later. Perhaps... you yourself would be interested in it, Whisker." He said, appraising the cat. He was decently strong for a random person he happened to meet on the street, had an attachment to a physical village that could be helped by offer of payment, and seemed relatively eager in all he did.

Polarus was all too happy to oblige with the change of scenery, and the Arcosian noble followed closely behind the group as they found a new shelter to take cover under. He felt a little undignified having to stoop so low in order to even be able to enter the doorframe, with the feeling only growing as he had to stay in a stooped posture in order to avoid hitting his head constantly on the ceiling once indoors. Eventually, he did find a solution, taking a seat in one of the armchairs in the middle of the main room with a slight sigh as his gaze returned to the rest of the people present- his eyes slightly widening in surprise as he saw Zira do some, questionable, things including her clothing being all the sudden cleansed of whatever muck had drawn itself upon it as well as enabling her own umbrella to disappear out of thin air. Looking around to see if anyone else had saw what he had just seen, he then snapped his fingers to grab Zrirachas attention- asking in a bit of a hushed tone as to avoid drawing too much attention to it just in case he was truly just seeing things, "While this, suffocating, heat, may just be muddling my senses, I could have sworn I just saw two quite peculiar things just happen. Again, we can discuss these, strange occurrences, at a later date if preferred, but I just would like to confirm that my vision is not at fault here and I do not require immediate medical attention." If his vision was correct, which he strongly believed it to be so, there were two possible truths available from this then- one, this human is not just some appraiser and is most likely of magical descent, and two, this human was not a human at all- and was instead of the demon race. Things to ponder and inquire about later.
Turning back to address both Freige and Whisker, Polarus responded in the little kittens questions about the two Arcosians' relationship, saying after Freige himself put it well into words, "Yes, we have indeed met- but I assure you we both have very different agendas as to why we're both here. Agendas, of which, I assume, will be revealed shortly, if Freige decides such things are ripe to tell." Ignoring the further pokings at Ziras strangely chosen occupation and lack of proof there of, again, he could prattle all about that later, Polarus also declined Whiskers offer of sustenance- saying, "There is no need, though I do thank you for the hospitality. I've eaten quite enough."
Upon hearing that Freiges message wasn't that of a too crucial circumstance, the Arcosian leaned backward in his seat- folding his hands together and looking at his fellow kinsman and then at Whisker, saying, "Then, if you don't mind sating my, and I assume their, curiosity, would you be so kind as to inform us what exactly this message of yours entails? It must be of some interest if someone of your stature is delivering it, Freige."

“This is more than adequate, young one,” ‘Zira’ assured. The questions she’d been provided were difficult to think of answers to, even if it seemed like the least suspicious was the young Whiskers. Just before she would accept the chair, ‘Zira’ would pause and looked back at Polarus as he quietly got her attention. Her eyes widened slightly at his words, almost as if she was caught, “I-uh… you are not seeing things,” She carefully responded. “I am a bit of a magician, you see. It is how I was able to get here so quickly as well. Magic carpet,” She bullshitted, hoping he didn’t know enough about magic to call her bluff. She shook her head at the offered food, knowing that if they struggled to make ends meet it wouldn’t be appropriate to take their supplies. Not to mention her appetite wasn’t exactly… miniscule. She first addressed Whiskers and Freige, holding up her hands with a nervous little smile, “I’m well aware of the timing; I came a little earlier to assess things at their worst. No crew needed for this visit, but it won’t hurt the appraisal in the least.” She held up a finger, eyes closed as if she spoke from experience and not a carefully tailored lie. “A land that can withstand even the harshest of conditions is certainly one of great value. The Earth speaks for itself.” Little did ‘Zira’ know, the Earth didn’t actually… speak as much as it made weird noises that she tried to interpret. Not very well, at that. As the attention seemed to focus on Freige’s message, she would release a little sigh of relief to have the attention off of her for the moment. Honestly, she didn’t think they’d mind if she revealed herself as a Demon, but… the lie was there now, and she couldn’t exactly take it back. How hard could being an actual appraiser be, anyway? With the various looks around the room and Whisker's tail already going wild behind him, the excited kitten's left ear twitched gently as he tilted his head at the three individuals gathered before him. The Arcosians certainly knew each other, but were here on different missions it seemed. While this was plenty alright in its own right- WAIT. Did Zira say she's a magician?! "That's so cool, Zira! I wish I knew magic... But a flying carpet? That sounds like so much fun to ride!" Whisker could barely contain his excitement any longer, and in an attempt to calm himself, sat down in a chair and held himself there. The chair practically vibrated as the energy present in this tiny creature let itself loose. "I would like to hear the news, please!" Whisker said with a pleasant smile and kind eyes. He was proud of himself for being in the right place at the right time and finding such wondrous strangers, and he was happy to be able to talk to new people about things other than food stock and building repairs. He didn't often get the chance to speak with tourists or anyone outside of the other villagers, aside from the one incident with the nice bug Chromo. Still, this 'news' Freige spoke of had him interested and excited and he wasn't sure if he could hold off any longer. While the Mayor and the other fishermen were off doing their jobs, this was finally his chance to show how far he's come and convince everyone that he was responsible... and maybe even get some friends out of it! The green and blue eyes of Whisker grew ever larger as the boy waited for the news patiently, but his mind raced with possibilities! Were they intending to fund the island so more people could live here? Or are they gonna open up new shops? Oh, oh! Are they gonna open a theme park?! Whisker would LOVE a theme park! Taking a break from the insane possibilities, Whisker thought of more likely scenarios. Were they coming to give bad news? Recruit people for some kind of martial arts tournament? Train people? Honestly, Whisker didn't know what to think. With no hint of why they were here, he would simply have to wait and listen to determine what it was they intended to inform him of.
