SODA AND PURPLE STUFF
Cole's PL: 10,000
Work outs can get you real tuckered out on a hot day like this one, especially for Cole. He's been running around the city all day in that jacket and it's really hard to keep up the energy to go on. Of course he should get some water, but what he prefers is come good ole' sugar. Thankfully he's managed to work up some pocket change to stop at a nearby vending machine. This was one of his favorite places to go, this large device held the drinks captive behind some glass, and willing to release one in exchange for some zenni. It was the world's most beautiful hostage situation and he loved it. He pulled out the zenni from his pocket and placed the shiny coins inside, he held a finger over the buttons and was prepared to pick the drink of his choice, until fear and anxiety washed over him as he realized something. He didn't know what he wanted! There was so many good choices he just didn't know what to pick, it was like choosing which child was your favorite! He began to sweat harder as the sun's rays beat down on him, he had to choose quickly, before it was too late!
Closing his eyes, he pressed his luck and tapped two buttons at random then waited. The machine began to do its work, there was a slam as the drink hit the bottom. With slight reluctance, he reached in for the drink, seeing what fate awaited him. As he pulled it out, he quickly went from fear to disappointment. "Really, Hetap DIET of all things?" The boy gave a sigh of disappointment, his day was ruined in seconds all because he was too indecisive. "Seriously, who'd want to drink this stuff?" He asked to no one in a disgusted tone, then proceeded to throw it behind him. Well he didn't have enough money to buy another drink, so he had to figure out what he was gonna do now.

Soda and Purple Stuff Xana - 32,000 PL
The heat of Earth wasn't nearly the same as Vegeta’s, as Vegeta resided closer to its sun, but that didn’t make it any less cruel to sit through. It was a perfect day for a certain dojo mentor to jog through the innards of Satan City, equipped with sweatpants and a lightweight hoodie. The extra layers put out an additional sweat which got rid of the additional carbs Xana consumed for lunch, which was no surprise she’d do, considering her heritage. An hour into a stop and go style routine and she found herself met with another jogger outside of a store, jiggling the controls for a drink. At first, Xana thought nothing of the boy. A kid in his mid-teens at best, which was most likely why he was so irresponsible with his drink choice, considering he stopped at a soda machine.
As Xana slowed her jog to a walk and made haste past the machines, the boy began to express his distaste of his choice, which made her turn. “Someone else who talks to themselves. See, told you I’m not lame, Chapron…” The Saiyaness muttered to herself, about to forget the whole scene, but when the boy tossed his drink over his head without even opening it, the Ex-Noble watched it fall and explode on the ground, all as if time was in slow motion. In all of Xana’s life, she’d been plagued by monsters of frost, the plague of war, and the evil of the Stargoons, but nothing was quite as utterly repulsive as this kid tossing away a perfectly good drink.
“Hey!” Xana called to the boy, running back to the drink with impressive speed and picking it up as it made its way down for another bounce. With the drink in hand, she turned to the freckle-faced kid and crushed the can into a near flat surface. “Watch it kid, you got a good planet. Don’t want to kill it because you didn’t like your own drink choice.” The woman growled with a scowl. A flick of the wrist later, the can sailed, with some strange aerodynamic issues, into a smoker’s trashcan placed on the street corner. Xana readjusted her arms into a crossed posture, eyeing the kid up and down. Middle school. No doubt about it. No wonder the brat had no respect.

SODA AND PURPLE STUFF
CHROMO'S PL: 176,000
Chromo's antennae shot up. They swiveled like satellite dishes, locking onto their target. A familiar smell let the lonesome child's senses as his pupils dilated. A perfectly good Hetap, disposed...
"MINE!!" A squeaky voice shrieked as Xana lobbed the litter to the trash, but instead of falling into the bin, the aluminum can landed square in the jaws of a two-foot beetle-mantis-firefly-thing. Chromo promptly stuck his landing on the armrests of a bench not far from the human and saiyan with the can in his teeth. The little monster promptly curled his head back, eating the entire can in a single gulp. Chromo breathed a satisfied sigh despite the apparent health implications of swallowing an entire metal can filled with diet soda.
The smell of soda still lingered in the air, turning the ravenous beetle's attention to the vending machine. With a chirp, he hopped off the bench with his scarf fluttering in the air alongside Tarch's torn jacket to quickly skitter up to Cole and Xana beside the machine. "Hi! Did you want somethin' from this thing, nerds?" He gestured to the vending machine with his head. Without giving Cole a chance to respond, Chromo continued. "Well, never to fear! Lucky for you's, I know exactly how to get the Hetaps out of this jail-box!" What kind of sicko would lock away perfectly good Hetap behind glass, showing it to people but making it impossible to get?!? It was a shame Chromo refused to understand the concept of currency.
Scurrying to the side of the machine, his claws made quick work of a panel on the side. The beetle wriggled inside, legs flailing before disappearing into the vending machine. The shine of chitin could be seen behind the displayed Hetaps- with one swift headbutt to the racks inside, every last Hetap in the machine would tumble down and out. "Tadaaaa!" Chromo popped his head out in pride. Despite the criminal act, he thought he did a good deed. Tarch wanted him to do good deeds, right? Giving Hetap was good!

SODA AND PURPLE STUFF
Cole's PL: 10,000
Cole jumped a little when he heard the shouting voice, turning to see a woman standing before him, not looking very pleased. "Oh uh...I'm sorry if my can hit you or something miss." Shivers went down his spine when he saw her crush the can in front of him, casually tossing it aside like he did, though this time with more aim. She talked about having a nice planet, which kinda weirded him out since this girl looked human. He knew saiyans looked like human, but he didn't see a tail on her. Either way, this girl was strong, he could feel the immense energy coming off her compared to his own. "L-look, I know what I did may have not been the smartest thing, but I don't think one can is gonna ruin the world." He looked scared enough as is, but he quickly felt an even bigger source of energy come out of no where, one that was even bigger than the woman in front of him. The boy looked past the woman to see...something he didn't expect. A small bug looking thing, and one that actually seemed to be enjoying the soda that was crushed earlier.
To his surprise, the insect approached, and actually began to talk! To add on top of this, it seemed this thing actually wanted to help out in someway. Cole could only stare in awe as the bio-android managed to get every single can of Hetap out of the machine. Almost forgetting about the situation he was in entirely with the woman, a huge smile of joy ran across his face as he dug through the cans and picked up two cans of Hetap, one cherry flavored and one orange, chugging down the orange flavored one first. He looked down at the helpful bug, happy as ever, "Wow! You're the best mister! What's your name?"

Soda and Purple Stuff Xana - 32,000 PL
The boy’s reaction was a lot more timid than she expected to get. The boy practically fell over, and even in his rebuttal, he didn’t hold himself straight. Crushing the can might have come up as excessive, sure, but Xana felt it was fitting for something as low and petty as this. “It’s not about what one can can do. It’s about the fact that-” Before she could finish her thought, the sound of a whip and a maniacal chittering plagued the air. Xana couldn’t even catch a glimpse of the thing that stole the can from the air, but lucky, whatever it was, stopped on a nearby bench.
Completely lost in an instant, Xana stared at the bug creature. It looked familiar, but in that sort of way that you feel about something you glanced over on a website or something similar. She couldn’t put her finger on it, but this bug thing was definitely something she had seen before, somewhere. When it spoke, she wasn’t surprised, but what it said was what caught her off guard. First it yanked a soda can mid-flight, and now it wanted to pay for soda to give it to the kid? Seems more like it was in it for itself. Xana raised a finger to question it’s methods, but the thing already had a hand… pincer… needle? An arm in the machine already, and with a good shake, caused a landslide of sugary goodness to plummet to the bottom.
The middle schooler didn’t waste any time on picking up any soda, and to her surprise, the sugar bombed buggie didn’t wake one. Yet. A little ticked about the morality of stealing soda, the woman walked over to give a piece of mind, starting with a “Hey now listen here you two!” but cut herself short. The boy was obviously ecstatic to have a real soda, but the bug? He looked happy for another reason. It had that same proud look Chapron kept on herself when Xana did well. Was it… proud? It was innocent pride if it was, something Xana couldn’t bring herself to hate.
Leaning her head around and surveying the nearby streets, Xana didn’t notice anyone looking over, so if these two kids were really enjoying themselves over such a small amount of soda, then would it be so bad to humor them. Whipping a hand back and grabbing her cape, she held it forward while gripping the sides together, making a shape similar to a basket. “We gotta make a run for it!” She smiled, nodding to the cans. “Quick, put ‘em in here and we can make a dash for my dojo!”
