Whisker's PL: 18,000
On board Flurry's ship once more, Whisker had spent the last few days relaxing after the exciting events in Central City. Over the previous week, Whisker and Flurry took the ship around the Western Verge to sightsee while they wait for word from Freige. Whisker slept this particular day away in order to restore the child's natural energy, and definitely not just because they had a big meal the day before, contrary to what Whisker's engorged stomach might reveal. The sound of gentle purrs filled the ship's normal emptiness with a sense of warmth. Flurry didn't talk much, but he sure seemed the happy sort! After a few moments more, Flurry landed the ship outside of West City and woke Whisker from his slumber. A groggy Whisker rubbed his eyes and yawned, barely managing to sit up with gently blinking eyes.
"A-are we at West City yet?" Whisker asked in a tired voice, looking up at the very wide Arcosian in the flight chair. With a nod, he opened the ship's door and walked out with Whisker tailing just behind him. He stretched out and shook himself awake, slapping his paws against his face and rubbing his eyes to wake himself faster. After a few moments, Whisker's energy returned to him and he started bouncing around as he usually would. When they entered the city, Whisker was blown away by the sheer amount of fanciness that faced him. The huge amount of people, the lights that seemed to dance across the city, even in broad daylight, and the strangely shaped buildings all stuck out to Whisker as fascinating and wonderful works of art! There were even giant boards with moving letters like on the ship! In his excitement, Whisker ran off to look at all the amazing things, and Flurry, who had been looking elsewhere, hadn't noticed his tiny friend wandering off on his own.
After a few minutes Whisker found himself alone in a crowd. Unable to locate his big lizard-like friend, he started heading back to the last point he saw him, only to be bounced around by the endless horde of people that moved in every direction. He finally saw an opportunity to escape the crowd and leapt onto a nearby bench to stand as tall as he could in search for Flurry. Oh no! I can't see him anywhere! Whisker began to panic, yelling out in an attempt to find his friend, only for the roar of the crowd to deafen his calls. "Mister Flurry, where are you!"
