After countless years being apart from his homelands, returning to the places in which he had once called home was quite therapeutic for the relatively younger Shinjin, his eyes glinting a gleam of what looked liked peace of mind. Not something Darastras was prone to having- most of the time they were filled with utter disdain for whomever and whatever he had encounter, but here. Here was somewhere that was free from his judgement. Who could ever judge such a place as this? Untouched by mortal impurity, air free of human toxicity, the Endless Meadow was indeed the perfect place to muse over whatever may be taking a hold of ones mind, a place in which welcomes peace and relaxation with open arms. The contemplative Shinjin, after appearing within the realm, and landing upon a small hill of green and floral flurry, motioned for his Demon-Saiyan partner whom had traveled with him to the Otherworld to listen to him a moment.
"Viru, I assume you have at least heard of what this place is, yes?" Darastras asked the hybrid as he took a couple glances around, looking already quite invested into the exploration of this entire area.
"Indeed, counterpart, I have- not just from you, but also from snippets of information gained upon our countless journeys," Viru replied as he began his way down the hill, his Shinjin friend now following closely behind. "If you wouldn't mind, as I doubt any would dare to attack us within such a place, I would like a bit of time for myself to explore the entirety of this beauteous realm, as you usually allow me when we arrive at an unknown location."
Darastras nodded his head yes, and soon enough, Viru was off flying in a separate direction- looking for a secure place to begin his tour. The Shinjin shook his head in mild amusement, Viru's continued thirst to soak up information for the betterment of himself and the cosmos was indeed quite endearing, in a sort of child-like manner. Although the two were more of a partnership built on equal standings, the Shinjin did feel as though as he was a mentoring figure to him from time to time- and it was indeed a treat to see what he'd consider as his own passion project grow into something more. A righteous blade of justice of which to pierce the heart of evil with.
But nevermind all that, this was one of the rare times Darastras would allow himself a break, as he was still getting used to being conscious once more after being unconscious for more than a third of his life, and so required himself to ensure everything was in working order. Readjusting his right eye's medical covering, wincing a bit at the still present sting, the now absentminded Kai began his walk through the Endless Meadow, his one good eye soaking in the familiar sights- a slight smile coming upon his face as he remembered many a fond memory spent within these grounds. Although, he did wish he had someone to talk to. It did get slightly lonesome without his partner normally by his side to pick at his brain, and so without that mental stimulation Darastras found himself becoming quite bored.
Although, he found it highly unlikely anyone that he'd prefer to talk to would pop up just out of nowhere...

Kiko's PL: 64,000
“SMITE!”With a cry, a huge burst of divine energy shot down out of the sky and obilerated a nearby tree. The smoldering remains crackled and sparkled with the remnants of divine magic. Kiko stood not far away with a hand outstretched, breathing heavily. A trickle of sweat ran down her face, and dust and dirt coated her clothes. This was the best that she could do right now, even after all this time… It wasn’t enough. Kiko flopped back onto the grass, frustrated. She wasn’t even nearly strong enough to protect anyone yet! Not Tarch, not the Namekians… especially not the Saiyans. Ugh. She was so incredibly frustrated. “Mm… when am I going to get better…?”Why wasn’t this easy? Learning healing magic had been relatively straightforward. Her teachers even said that she’d had a gift for it. That meant that she was special, right? Of course she was, she was born from the golden fruit, right…? Then… Why was this so hard? Why was she so weak? If she was meant to be a Supreme Kai, shouldn’t she have started strong? It was a question that she didn’t have the answer to and likely never would. She huffed and sat back up, having caught her breath. When she did, Kiko caught sight of another Shinjin not too far away with a weird thing over his eye. She stared at him for a moment or two. He wasn’t particularly strong, but maybe he knew someone who was? She didn’t expect him to have the answers that she needed and talking to other Shinjin was usually super boring, but… Maybe it was the distraction she needed. “HEY! YOU! You over there! Come here!” she shouted, waving an arm into the air.

Not only could the Shinjin sense the higher than average combat power from afar, but his gaze was suddenly greeted by the sight of a nearby tree exploding into a furious plume of flame to his dismay. Such a beauteous environment shan't be tarnished by the ugliness of combat and destruction, so who in their right mind would dare sully such a pure and tranquil land? His eyes quickly searched through the plains for the source of such insolence, and soon enough he was met with the person who he had been looking for. However, it was not someone of whom he had expected. It was a fellow Shinjin- yet their actions were most definitely not that of a Kai in training. What kind of watcher of the universe uses such a heavenly land as their own plaything? Under normal circumstances, and situations wherein his strength happened to be the strongest present, he would chastise the young Kai and show them the error of their ways. Though, seeing as he was hopelessly outmatched, even if he did have Viru's assistance alongside him, Darastras decided that it was time to be more diplomatic than the normally more forward approach he took.
He wasn't too surprised to see that Kiko herself had also become aware of his own presence- most Shinjin were naturally imbued with the ability to sense Ki (or so he was told), and thus he decided that there was no point in delaying the inevitable. So, he chose to quickly approach the much younger looking Shinjin, gently floating above the ground with his arms crossed behind his back as he made his approach.
As he got closer, Darastras could see that Kiko clearly had been undergoing some sort of training for some time- her body exalted a much exhausted demeanor, and her facial expression gave off an even more tired vibe. But within the clear sightings of physical strain, the older Shinjin could also sense within that more emotional strife, unsureness, doubt. Traits that most Shinjin had pounded out in the earlier stages of their lives, but, clearly this little Shinjin girl here was much too young to have gotten to that point quite yet.
He himself was fifteen hundred years old, so he could say that she hasn't gotten there yet.
Once Darastras had finally found himself directly within Kiko's company, that is to say, a few feet away from her, the self-proclaimed preacher of justice took a seat down where he stood, the very flowers beneath him welcoming his presence as he looked at the Kai up and down with a curious expression. It has been many a year since he had last seen another Shinjin, and one that didn't attack him on sight, so this was a strangely novel situation for him.
After a couple moments of observation, Darastras finally opened his mouth to speak, asking in an inquisitive tone as a questioning gaze was cast over Kiko, "Who exactly might you be, little one? You seem quite younger than most of the other kinsfolk that I have met. What is your name? Why have you requested my presence?"

Watching the other Shinjin approach, Kiko noticed that he had that certain air about him that came with some of the older Shinjin. She half-expected him to lecture her or give her an earful or something about her conduct, but he was polite. Kiko supposed that she shouldn’t be surprised about that fact. It wasn’t as if he was one of her teachers who had reached the limit of their patience with her. Putting a hand over her heart and puffing out her chest proudly, Kiko answered his questions.
“Don’t you know it’s rude to ask for someone’s name without giving your own? I am Kiko Kai! The Kai of Pride! And… I’m fourteen, but you’re looking at the next Supreme Kai! Probably…” Kiko’s bluster faded as quickly as it had arisen, her dour mood returning. “I’m trying to get strong. As strong as the Supreme Kai so that they’ll acknowledge me. But… there’s more to fighting than brute force, and I don’t really know what I’m doing… So, do you know anyone that could teach me a thing or two today?”
She certainly had come a long way since that day, but she was nowhere near where she needed to be. Guru Oboe and Senny and even stupid Kitiana were all still leagues stronger than any power she could hope to muster. Being a prodigy with healing magic only got her so far. She could only provide support, but she wanted to be able to do more than that. She didn’t want to have to beg and plead again. She wanted to be able to stop them herself. They wouldn’t respect her unless she was strong… That was all foolish mortals cared about. Power. Hmph! She’d change that way of thinking! Somehow… hopefully not with force. That felt a little hypocritical. But a defender of the universe needed to be strong enough to defend it!

Although the elder of the two Shinjin present was usually more business oriented most of the time, an amused slight of a smile appeared on his face as he took silent note of the prideful attitude the younger Shinjin presented herself with as she explained her reasoning behind calling upon him. A twinge of slight irritation flashed across his face as she was quick to point out his apparent error, but it was soon swept away- she was still a young, immature Kai-to-be, and still had the potential for great justice, unlike the older, more set in their ways fools within their race's population, and unlike the mortal scourge who inherently harbor sin. She still had many a millennia to live, learn, and find the truth about this universe- that a god's duty was not to watch, but to tend to the garden of the cosmos, and that the mortal species was a weed needing to be eradicated for the preservation of the garden.
An eyebrow was slightly raised as Darastras was told that Kiko was indeed the Kai of Pride- confusion appearing on his face as he was sure such a title wasn't at all an official one. She did have one part right though, she was indeed a Kai with much pride, and even more ambition as she clearly stated her intent on becoming the very next Supreme Kai. A bit of a saddened smile appeared on his face as he realized that, if his own plans were to be followed through on, and the Zero Mortals Plan was indeed successful, a Supreme Kai position would be unneeded. In his future utopia, there would be no need for such a position, seeing as there would be no need for someone like that since there would be no mortal scum to keep watchful eye on. But, to humor the young Kai, and perhaps allow for her to have a goal to work toward, Darastras decided to hold back that piece of information for now. And as Kiko began to ask whether or not Darastras would be willing to give her a few pointers, the older Shinjin smiled warmly for the first time in what felt like was eternity, saying in a contemplative tone, crossing his arms, his face shrouded in thought, "Despite the clear age disparity, you are wise beyond your years, Kiko- You are correct, there is much more to the art of combat than brutish swinging of fists. It also takes a great deal of maturity to recognize when you are in need of assistance to progress, a trait of which that is also an admirable one to see."
After a few more moments of thought, Darastras said, "Fine, then, I will attempt to teach you at least a small portion of what I have learned throughout my time as a martial artist. As long as you are willing to listen, of course."
"But, first, I require a demonstration in order to gauge exactly what I am working with. Display for me a technique or two of yours so that I may get a bit of an insight as to how you fight on a regular basis. Under normal circumstances I would offer a spar, however, my partner is not currently with me at the moment, and I myself am at the moment much weaker than you are."
"Now then, carry on- show me that you are worthy of divine teaching!"

Kiko's PL: 64,000
"Ha! Just watch this. You're gonna be blown away at my talents!"When the older Shinjin obliged her request, Kiko smiled confidently. She hopped up to her feet and with a snap of her fingers, cleaned her dusty training clothes with a bit of magic. It felt kind of good to get clean. She fluffed up her hair to be appropriately cloudy and nice. She wanted to look the part of Supreme Kai and not some scrappy raggamuffin. That all sorted out, Kiko held a hand out to one of the other trees in the little grove, summoning up her raw divine power. “Smite!”In a white flash not unlike lightning, a bolt of divine energy rained down from the sky and split the tree down the middle. The tree exploded, bits of bark and wood flying everywhere. Kiko shielded herself with a thin ward woven out of the same divine magic. It sparkled and glittered with a silvery energy. Turning to the older Shinjin, she smirked and tossed her hair back. Even if it was just a show of raw power, she thought it was pretty good! At least, compared to where she was before. She was still a very long way off from matching those mortals in power. Her smile faded as she thought of Sensoa and Oboe. “That’s… my power right now. That’s the best I can do. I didn’t get proper training from my teachers, but I would have had to wait a thousand years before they did anything combat related if they taught it at all! That’s why I ran away to the foolish mortal realm. And, well, I learned a lot more a lot faster by going down there and doing stuff instead of just waiting and watching! Though, it wasn’t always easy…”Kiko rubbed her side, remembering when she had almost been obliterated by that Saiyan woman from Namek. If Sensoa hadn’t protected her, she wondered what might have happened to her. She still had a lot left to learn. But still! Just her brief time down in the world of mortals made her think that their current approach to handling the mortal realm was wrong. They needed tending! They needed guidance. Kiko… Kiko wanted to prevent something like Sensoa from happening again. And, when they did, an option to rehabilitate them into functional members of society! Hm… there was a mortal concept for it, called prison, but she felt like sometimes that way was too harsh. She just needed a guinea pig for the evil mortal rehabilitation program! Hm. That was a long name. She needed something better than that. Well. She could think about it later. “Oh, hey wait, old man! You never told me your name! That’s super rude, you know! I even showed you my divine abilities too. Introduce yourself immediately. I mean, it’s only fair. Oh, and, um, do you know of any bad mortals? I guess I could check HFIL for them… but I’d kind of like one that was more on the alive side…”

An appreciative expression appeared on the older Kai's face as Kiko attempted to make herself look a bit more presentable, something that all Shinjin in his mind should strive to do no matter the circumstance. They were all of divine nature and beauty, and thus should carry themselves as such. Though, as mentioned before, Kiko seemed to be still within her much, much younger years when compared to the majority of their kin, and so Darastras was willing to let her grow into her maturity with time. And was also more than happy to assist with her cultivation of her skill in terms of combat- and thus the elder Shinjin watched carefully as Kiko fired off another powerful attack at one of the other trees within the grove- his eyes shooting upward to meet the great bolt of lightning being birthed from the skyline, coming down onto the evergreen with a mighty vengeance. Darastras gently lifted a single palm upwards in front of himself, putting up an invisible Ki-barrier in order to incinerate the bits and pieces of the now smoldering bark before it even had a chance of touching his divine person. After the second display, the Shinjin turned to face Kiko, her youthful confidence piquing a bit of amusement within himself.
Though, he was also glad she seemingly had the self consciousness to return to business, as the cocky grin on her face quickly washed itself away, with Darastras now listening intently to Kiko's explanation of her current strength with further interest. He sympathized a bit with the lack of combative teaching from her former teachers- the life of a Kai was that of a spectator, a watcher from above, a philosophy that Darastras had come to resent quite greatly for its complacent nature. Gardens are tended. Not just watched. They should be allowed to pluck the weeds, said weeds being the mortal scourge plaguing the lower realms.
That, was a conversation for much later however, and so he quickly refocused, nodding as he replied with a sympathetic voice, "The life of a Shinjin, and that of a Kai, has with it a greatly complacent nature- one of which I have come to be displeased with. We are of godly nature, we should be allowed to use such gifts, such inherent divinity to eradicate evil across the cosmos. Yet so much of our kin seems, content, with allowing the universe to fall further into disarray. It is, good, to see that not all of our kind are as blind as some."
It was also good to see another Kai harboring great combat strength as well, considering he and Viru were outnumbered, outgunned, and outmanned quite greatly when it came to people agreeing with their just cause. Eliminating the entirety of the mortal population already was quite the crusade to undertake, but seeing as he and his counterpart were currently the only ones invested in completing such a task, the forces they found themselves squaring off against were nearly indomitable in nature. So, if they were to, Kami forbid, fail, it was a slight comfort to see that there were potentially those within the new generation to take part in their mission.
Nonetheless, Darastras was determined to see through the Zero Mortals Plan in its entirety himself, rather than watching it unfurl from the sidelines of the Otherworld.
Snapping himself back to the topic at hand once more, an indignant expression flashed across Darastras' face before a more, composed, one returned onto his facial features. While she did have potential, this young Kai was quite brash as well, something that would make teaching her quite, difficult.
Clearing his throat, Darastras began to speak, saying in a serene, yet stern tone, "Mind your tongue, young Shinjin- I am only fifteen hundred years old. I am within the prime of my lifetime, and not nearly as aged as some of the rest of our race. You may call me Darastras, and you have much potential it seems."
A much more darkened look appeared on his face as he responded to Kiko's inquiry about evil mortals, with him stating in a matter-of-fact manner, "Are not all mortals inherently evil in nature...? I suppose you mean, the more outwardly sinister than most. I suggest simply that you travel the cosmos for a lengthened amount of time. You are bound to find the scum of the universe crawling out of their holes eventually."
"...but enough, we have strayed away from what you have called on me for in the first place- yes, your power is impressive for that of a Shinjin, yet it does require a bit of refining before it is both strength and grace. Two things that a Kai should strive to achieve within their combat style. How long have you been training for, young one? You appear to be a novice, however, you also seemingly have a competent grip on the basics- perhaps your old teachers did help you in a way."
