Being bored meant one had plenty of time on ones hands to do nothing, and nothing was exactly what she was doing flying around in the middle nowhere. These wastelands were a perfect place to vent off some stress without anyone coming to poke their nose into anything, maybe she would just start blowing up everything in sight? It still sounded boring to Roka and she would kill for something to do, anything at all that would keep her interest. She loved cooking but it costed money she did not have to get the ingredients for anything decent, that and she was not entirely use the cooking appliances used by the earthlings. As easy as it would be to just take everything she needed and run into the wastes to do some cooking it still did not leave many options for one to cook with. A kettle,a fire, and if you where lucky you might even get a stone stove going if you knew what you where doing. She however did not and knew better then to try it anyways as she was more likely to poison her self trying to do so. With a sigh she kept floating around aimlessly as she watched the rocks pass by her as she drifted onward though the wastes.
Roka was so out of it she almost did not notice a strange sight, a flash of blue across the wastes normal brown rocky surface. Snapping alert she noticed a figure training among the rocks, the figure practicing who know's what among the waste. Strange there was never anyone out here, the wastes where a little to harsh for the fragile earthlings to really ever live in for any lengths of time. Intrigued she floated closer to the figure only to notice her armor and weapon as she practiced her form Roka assumed. It really did not matter as form the entire she saw it was without a doubt that the figure there was a warrior, a rare thing among this peaceful world that Roka dearly missed. What was more was the speed and power which she wielded that blade with, the shiny metal flashing almost to fast for Roka to even follow. Grinning Roka knew she could not pass this chance up, a battle worth her time and effort for finally.
Rather then ask permission for a spar or match Roka Jetted towards the long blue figure, her power level rising as she prepared to throw a armored fist into the girls stomach. Landing suddenly in front of her before throwing out a powerful right straight, regardless if it hit or not she would then jump back far enough for the warrior to prepare for her second attack as Roka shouted her challenge. "I have been looking for a challenge for weeks! So lets have a brawl shall we? I am not gonna take no for a answer!" she shouted at the girl hoping she would forgive her later, after all asking for forgiveness was often easier then asking for permission.

Hazel had a busy life. Busy as in rapidly switching between intense training and random tomfoolery that she found fun, but the girl was by no means a sloth or layabout. Currently, she was in the midst of sword training rather than martial or magical skills, testing the precision and speed of her sword slices on a multitude of conveniently placed vertical rock pillars. One would think that many, many tumultuous years of abuse and death battles would whittle away at Gizard's natural odd formation and shaping, but even now the place was filled to the brim with large towering spires, deep caves, and an overall rocky landscape. The perfect moderate climate for a warrior to train! Hazel had heard rumors of there being a spot to the North known as Yunzabit Heights, but most of Earth's North was a bit too chilly for the desert born hybrid. Penn, the mystical crystal sword forged by her own mother, was a powerful weapon in its own right.
The full potential of the sky blue blade had yet to be unlocked, notches perfectly set for new runes carefully grafted into the flat of the weapon, but no magical symbols yet filling them. It greatly diminished both the stopping power and durability, but still. The best Konatsian craftsmanship far outdid most other materials, and cutting through simple stone didn't even place the smallest nick on the edge. It was a small point of pride that she had been deemed worthy of wielding the masterfully made armament, and part of why she was still determined to bring out the sword's very best by learning magic and applying runes of her own to it someday. Hazel, perhaps foolishly, assumed she was alone today. The wastes were large enough that even if there were a few other warriors training, they wouldn't even have to meet.
Not that she could say for certain thanks to her own inability to sense energy. A flaw she should really try to correct due to the sudden situations popping up on Earth that could make great use of it. For now, though, she had swords skills, martial arts, ki control, and magic to worry about before trying to pick up a new technique like that. A lapse in strokes left her vulnerable, Hazel letting out a breath when all of a sudden she found herself getting sucker punched. A small gasp escaped her lips as the secondary hit connected, stinging and sending her sliding back a few feet but not doing much else as, for the moment, the gap in their power was still skewed in the Hybrid's favor.
"Hey!?" Came the angered words. "You can't just go around punching people!" Still, Hazel lowered into a battle stance, eyes narrowing just in case her random opponent decided to try and make a move again. If they wanted a fight there was the option of asking, but apparently that was too much for them to even try and do. "Fine! I'm not gonna go easy on you though!"

It was clear to her that this woman was quite a bit stronger then the natives of the planet by far, her reactions were quite good and the fact she was not already out cold by the punch proved it, now she just needed to know just by how much stronger this stranger was then the earthlings. Even her armor had held up really well despite it not looking all that advanced like hers, it made her wonder just where had she got and what would it take to get some of whatever that was made out to be integrated into her own. Wait what was in her again? She had stolen on her escape but really had no idea about it but now was not the right time to wonder at just what it was. For now was the time to sit back and enjoy the fight, the thrill of adrenaline shooting though her veins that could only be felt in open combat like this. "That sounds great!Fight me with everything so lets now lets enjoy our little battle my little one!" Roka screamed as she charged yet again, this time Hazel would know she was coming.
With a quick rush forward she would throw her hands out to fire a pair of small ki blasts at Hazels feet, each one barely enough power to kick up the dust around her as Roka finished her rush forward attempting to use the dust to hide form the swordsman's blade. She then proceeded to fire ki blast after ki blast at the girls last known position, her small attacks trying to force the girl out into the open for her next big attack. "Come out come out!" Roka leered as she tried to bait what seemed the less experienced fighter out into the open for big attack. The plan was rather simple really but with the last of recent combat Roka did not want the battle to end to early, she had after all only just found someone worth a damn after searching for weeks. No she wanted enjoy this fight win or lose, this fight is what she missed the most about the front lines. She would gladly die to get this kind of rush, this sweet taste of battle she would never forget no matter how long she was alive for.

Oh my gods, this lady is insane. It was a reasonable thought, only further cemented by her giddiness from this whole ordeal. Hazel didn't think her life was in danger or anything, but letting up now would certainly get her pummeled into the ground. Tall redhead was NOT messing around, so neither should she! The tip of Penn remained in its' position: firmly pointed straight towards Roka and not even moving an inch as the first tiny ki blasts connected, kicking up dust in what was an attempt to obscure her vision. Perhaps it may have worked, too, if Hazel hadn't spent her early life training on a desert planet where such occurrences were commonplace, intentional or otherwise. With practiced ease and the thrumming of Roka's projectiles, Hazel worked swiftly to deflect each and every one of the staggered attacks off the surface of the crystalline sword.
Once the barrage ended, the hybrid took cautious steps out of the impromptu smokescreen, eyes flitting back and forth as she attempted to keep her foe firmly within her line of vision. It seemed both of them were still testing the waters mostly, and with no way of knowing how strong the redhead actually was the last thing Hazel wanted was to overextend with a big attack and use up all her energy at once. Penn hummed, the pitch low enough to barely register as background noise as Hazel channeled her own energy, a faint silver aura surrounding her. It'd been a while since she'd used ki on a living target, but this situation seemed worthy of an exception from her usual modus operandi. A small, pencil-sized and shaped shard of energy formed in Hazel's left hand, crackling and hissing. It wasn't a powerful attack by any means, but it would hopefully allow her to gauge reaction time or durability if it managed to land. With a few seconds more of concentration, the projectile grew and embiggened before eventually splitting into several smaller shards, Hazel fanning them in quick succession in an attempt to pin Roka with one of them.

Even if she could not see her target she could clearly see her attacks being deflect as they create more explosions nearby, her smile only growing wider as her opponent seemed like more then all the weak martial artists she had face before. Unable to contain her excitement any longer Roka charged into the smoke screen, his fists slamming the ground hard as she blew away the smoke screen and sending a shock wave across the ground at her target."Come on that is it! hit me!" she yelled as she tried to egg her opponent into fighting her with everything she had, to face her without restraints. She wanted this,no needed this opponent to be able to hurt her, to make the rush of a life and death battle come back to her. She was not gonna let this chance slip by for anything and she wanted her opponent to know that as well. With that in mind she rushed at her opponent recklessly, both hands up as she fired ki blast after ki blast in her made rush to get the swordsmen. She was unaware in mad rush that Hazel had been preparing herself with those energy spears, Roka's body wide open for attack as she rushed forward.
Regardless if any of her ki blasts would have landed Roka would leap at the last second before she was in range of Hazal's sword to get behind her before trying to force a grapple form her , her intent to prevent her form using the fancy sword of her to cut her to ribbons. Her movements were rough form her lack of any significant challenges these last few weeks but she knew she had to stop that sword, she could not count on her armor to protect her forever she knew. She had to pin that sword down and try to force the fight to where her large body would give her the advantage, her few battles with the swordsmen of konuts taught her to never allow them to use their weapons.

If anything, her defensive style served only to make Roka increasingly agitated, the Alien not slowing down her assault even after Hazel's warning barrage. Taking the opportunity to go physical, the hybrid reacted a fraction of a second too slow, the edge of her blade whistling by Roka's exposed body as the larger woman landed behind her, attempting to go for a grapple. "I don't only rely on THAT!" She'd been holding back in attempt not to seriously hurt this lady, but at this point the best play was to end things quickly. A silvery aura sprung to life as Hazel powered-up, raising her strength and speed ever more over Roka's de-powered self. Suddenly, despite the size difference, Hazel would break free of her foe's grasp, spinning around and attempting to blast her point blank with a shimmering beam of light. It's power output was low still, the half-Konatsian even now not wanting to maim her opponent. Penn clattered to the side, resting against the cracked, dried ground as Hazel was forced to fight with her fists and Ki now. "Do me a favor and go down from this!" Swiftly forming another, even more powerful attack, she didn't hesitate to launch the spear of energy directly at Roka's midsection in an attempt to stop her.

Roka was more then thrilled when she caught her target, her size normally meaning she would not only have the strength advantage but nullify the nasty looking sword Hazel had. Just as she prepared to start pummeling the much smaller elf Roka saw the silver aura appear on her, the threads of ki giving her a sinking feeling that everything was not all right, in fact she felt a foreboding sense of danger followed by a rush of action she could not longer fallow. One second she had her prey and the next she was rolling across the ground by the girl both breaking her grapple but also hitting her with some sort of energy attack, the blow sending her reeling across the ground as she desperately tried to recover form the point blank attack. Even now all she was sure about was that her opponent had taken off the kiddi gloves, finally ready to start a real fight rather then just testing the waters. However the sense of foreboding only growing stronger as she sensed her opponent winding up for yet another attack, this time the power in the attack could be felt by her at some level or another. It was time to give it everything or lose before the fight had even started, both of them nearly in tip top shape still and Roka was not willing to let it end right there.
Letting her thirst for battle overwhelm her she focused everything into her mutated blood, her heart pounding as it forced the now tainted cells to every inch of her body. Before Hazel could fire of the attack Roka's body changed wildly, her size growing till she was just over 8 feet and skin turning a crimson red that could rival blood itself. Her veins now pulsing in her face as her appearance took on a similar to those described as Oni in mythical lore, her smile still growing on face when she rushed forward yet again. However unlike before Roka's speed seemed off the charts compared to what she was before, her large size doing little to impede her as she gathered her energy into her fists before firing her personal attack the Red Riot, the small orb looking deceiving at first but its size seemed to grow with each moment it traveled at Hazel, the large orb colliding with Hazels attack only to over power it as the left over unstable energy kept going for Hazel. "Is that all you got little one! Come on hit me harder!" Roka cried out, her new form making her blood pound like no other in excitement. Roka was quite please to find out that her opponent was so powerful, it had been ages since she been forced to use this transformation and never has she met anyone who could match it before. Or rather anyone she had fought since she was quite sure a few of her recent encounters were fighters that would not even blink at her power. It was great to know she could grow even stronger and not have to worry about being alone at the top.

There wasn't really time to process the sudden shift in Roka's appearance aside from a brief flicker of shock and uncertainty in Hazel's eyes, the Konatsian silently cursing as her attack was met with and beaten by one of the red's own, the crimson orb diminishing heavily after chewing through the silver lance Hazel had thrown moments prior. The biggest problem was that her opponent appeared stronger than her due to this very display, and she knew her own transformation wasn't built to last, destined to fade into nothingness after so much exertion had been met. Hazel's best bet would be to go all-out, hoping to take her opponent out before they had time to truly gather their energy in a concise enough manner to actually overwhelm her. It, unfortunately, meant she wouldn't have any time to block or dodge the oncoming technique if Hazel wanted a clear shot at her foe, but it was a risk well worth taking.
Charging another attack of her own, it started off quite similar to her last technique, though instead of staying relatively thin and short... it expanded. The silver Ki crackled menacingly as more and more power was pumped into the technique, going to a full javelin's thickness in a few moments... before a spin suddenly took hold, whirring the projectile at incredibly high speeds and causing a distinctive buzz to permeate the air. The orb finally reached its destination, the remaining Ki causing a miniature explosion to erupt, pain spreading through her body as her own Ki fought to keep it from truly harming her. Hazel had weathered the initial storm, and now it was her turn to retaliate, a growl escaping her lips as the Konatsian blasted her own technique at Roka, the speed and size far greater than the projectile she had faced before.

Roka felt quite thrilled when her attack forced it way though her opponents attack, the large red orb quickly going on to his the small blue alien in front of her. The resulting explosion was rather weak but it still connected making Roka roar with excitement as she felt the shock wave of her own attack. Perhaps it was the excitement of this attack that left her open for the counter attack, the aliens thin laser now much more powerful as it was lunched at the unprepared ginger. The powerful attack was barely seen by Roka as she barely had time to throw her arms in a defense posture to guard herself before screaming "OH shit!". The resulting explosion was much large then the one that hit the small blue alien in front of her, the force of the blow sending the Kobe flying into a nearby mountain as creating shock wave that threw up dust everywhere near them. That attack was much more then she was ready for without a doubt, the burning pain that covered her arms and chest attesting to the devastating blow as she worked her way out of the rubble, her lust for battle ever growing large form the trade.
"Oh this is was great!" she roared form her crater, her voice carrying over the canyon as she lunched herself forward back towards her target. Landing a few yards away the Kobe's armor and wounds where quite clear, while far form lethal the broken armor and blood told wonders on just how hard Hazel's blow had struck. Striding forward she kept he arms open as she smiled as she looked at the small elf, her form barely even registering her own blows. Shaking her head she knew she was at quite the disadvantage here but she did not want to stop, the thrill she had been missing on the battlefield was once again flowing through her body again. Roaring she charged forward for yet another clash against the small elf in front of her, her arms now glowing with a small amount of ki to protect against hazels sword as tired to close in for melee against her.
