More and more time was being wasted on doing relatively nothing at all. Sure, getting to interact with the people of Earth was fun and all, but it was hardly exciting. There were a few moments since arriving in the Living Realm that the Demon actually found fun and exciting, but those moments were few and far between. Given all the stories and whatnot that had been floating around the Demon Realm, Athel figured that they’d at least encounter an individual that would give them the drive to do more other than thirst for knowledge. While learning was always nice, devoting their entire life to absorbing information would’ve been somewhat dull. But ever since arriving here on Earth, the denizens of the big blue ball wouldn’t even fight back when provoked! It was kind of disappointing.
How could the outlander find some way to make their time here a little more interesting? Would they need to start blowing things up? Did they need to kidnap women and children in hopes that their loved ones would come save them? Or would it be best to just move on to the next planet? These were but a few of the questions Athel thought on whilst sitting on a lawn chair in the middle of a road within Central City. Cars honked and drove around, the drivers yelling out nasty things at the grey skinned Demon. Of course, Athel didn’t seem to mind it much at all. In fact, deep down they were hoping that some individual would decide to smash right into them to get them out of the way. But alas, the people here seemed to be way to passive. The Demon leaned back in their chair some, humming a light tune to drown out the constant honking.
“What to do, what to do~?” They said to themselves, looking up at the sky above. Other than the cars going about their business, it was a relatively nice day outside. There were a few clouds that decorated the otherwise empty sky, the sun was super bright, and the birds were probably singing a song somewhere. Pitch black eyes gazed over the crowd of observers, wondering if anyone among them would step to be a hero and tell the Demon to get the heck out of the road. But for now, all Athel found themselves doing was waiting. How boring.
