The empty whistles of the desert wind cracked against the crevices of the winding canyons. Yorick pursed his lips, squatting on the edge of a cliff as he stared into the sandy wastelands. A hand reached up, grasping and stroking the small hairs on his chin as the pirate was in deep thought. He had heard rumors of spaceship parts scattered about the desert he landed in when he arrived to this planet. Finding these parts would be a much cheaper alternative to actually outright purchasing a ship on his own. And besides, compared to the now former World Trade Fleet and other intergalactic organizations, he seriously doubted this planets technology was anything more than primitive compared to the advancements that the societies away from Planet Earth managed to reach.
"As pretty and relaxing as this planet is, I think it's about high time I really get to business and ditch this place..." He grumbled to himself, letting out a loud groan as he stood straight, reaching his arms for the clouds and arching his back, stretching and warming up his body. "Phewww....alright then! Let's get it over with." The pirate lazily swung his arm backwards before kicking off the mountain, his baggy red shirt fluttering behind him while he was free falling. Yorick's sandals lightly tapped the ground, crunching the pebbles beneath his feet.
Inhaling calmly and gaining his concentration, he raised his palm slowly and pointed it directly in front of him. His eyebrows jerked up suddenly, and a burst of air hit whatever dirt and rubble was in front of him. Clouds of dust and rocks were launched away from Yorick, leaving small craters in his wake. He continued this process a few more times, only this time, he heard a distinct metallic ringing noise! "Mm??" Yorick put his hands behind his head, carelessly walking over to his most recent hole and staring down inside. A smile formed as he saw a rusty piece of scrap metal, still being hugged by dirt and rubble. "Bingo. This should work. Let's see what other junk we can find out here. Otherwise, I might have to resort to crime on this planet and just end up buying a damned ship..." Yorick mused to himself for a moment before deciding to hurry this little scavenger hunt of his up.

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
Dust, sand and many things in between. The Fortuneteller's Desert was not unfamiliar to Sanbu but there never ceased to be a moment where he felt exactly accustomed to his surroundings. The land knew such change at least in the eyes of the Majin, it bore a quality unlike many other locations he had come to know. Though it was a barren place for the most part there still lingered a sense of activity that he had began to increasingly adore with the passage of time. Civilizations were scarce and equally were people, in a location such as this one, nature could function without the perverting hand of the conscious beast. Simple was the day or so it seemed to be granted the man's point of reference, unlike his otherwise dull past weeks however he could not help but feel as if that would come to change. They were near but not quite clear, some place far but not far enough to which it would be inaccessible to his senses. Another presence lingered in the arid expanse and now it became too evident to him, one did not just ignore these things. <Oh? I take it someone had the same idea. Too nice is it on this occasion to miss this scenery, there is something here worth seeing I am sure of it. One cannot take one glance and be satisfied. Say, why am I even bothering? There is a time to think and this is not one of them, especially when action ought be taken.> Sooner than he could piece together a chain of coherent thought would be the active motion of the Majin. Walking typically was the individual's preferred method of transportation but it appeared that he took to the skies for once, flying above as to achieve a better vantage point when it came to appreciating the sight below him. He moved not with rapidity but an admirable speed regardless, it was an unassuming speed especially for the velocity he could possess at any given moment but it still did the trick given the circumstances.
From a point of elevation came the man as he gradually descended near Yorick, waving all the while as he tried to smile albeit with a forced quality to his character. Hesitantly and even shyly did Sanbu try to introduce himself, concealing a nervous grin as he lowered his head. "U-um... hello there, stranger. My name's Sanbu, what's yours?"

"Hm?" The space pirate blinked, his arms still behind his head as he heard a timid voice behind him. Yorick turned around only to be met with a strange, tall creature, one that he had never seen the likes of! "Now what in the world are you? Can't say I met anything like you before during my time travelling the galaxy." Yorick said, giving a toothy grin, his sharp teeth peeking out behind his lips. He removed his hands from behind his head before folding his arms and hugging them to his chest. Yorick observed the man before him, wondering what anyone, or well, in Sanbu's case, any thing, could be doing way out here!
"Sanbu, huh?" Yorick pulled out one of his arms, jabbing a thumb to his chest. "Name's Yorick! It's a real pleasure my man." He then scratched his head curiously, popping out his jaw and cocking an eyebrow, giving the Majin an obnoxiously observant expression. "Say, what are you doing way out here in the first place my man? I mean shoot, I'm just looking for some scrap metal to get off this rock. As relaxing as it is, I can't stick around forever."
A gust of wind suddenly hit the two strangers, sending dust and pebbles scattering about. Yorick's baggy clothing fluttered about like a suspended flag the wind struck. The pirate turned his body, staring down at the crater he made. The wind was pushing a bit of the rubble off of the buried piece of rusty metal, but that was obviously not enough. "Say, hate to trouble you, but if you could lend a hand, that'd be great." Yorick asked, gesturing his head towards the entombed piece of scrap heap.

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
The Majin's face lit up fiercely, how could it not? He had grown naive to assume that the appearance of someone from his species was any which way common, by no means was it, not at all. Yes, he was humanoid and that much was visible but beyond that loose category there was a lot to unravel. Living in a world conquered by Earthlings and species incredibly similar he could not help but feel as if the appearance of humans was nothing to be surprised at however the contrary was far more difficult to examine. To Sanbu's immediate knowledge there was no planet that was predominately Majin and given such a revelation he could not help but consider the question: <What does one ought to expect? His query is valid but the reason behind it still seems so troubling. We need be more visible as a people, the world ought not be so unfamiliar to our kind.> Suppressed but visible anyways lay a countenance that tried to restrain some manner of shock and distaste. This was not a land common to his kind and he again reflected upon that fact if only momentarily. To regard every nuance of what he assumed was casual conversation would only help to veer him off the main focus of the task at hand. Dialogue and nothing but, nothing beyond the surface. The man pointed to himself as he spoke with a slight gentleness to his voice, it was soft. "Oh me? Well I guess if you mean it bluntly, I am a Majin. An uncommon sort to your memory if your reaction is suffice enough to say for you already. I am surprised you have not met my species yet besides me, I take it we do not populate planets as visibly as some other species." Sanbu grinned slightly, here stood an individual without any knowledge of the species Majin. Whatever kind of impression he gave the stranger risked to serve as the basis for which the man referred to when thinking of other people like him. He needed to be careful with what he said and how he said those very things. It was often the first and last of things that stuck with many men often. He felt it much too important for him in his position to just cast aside the responsibility he had assumed accidentally. Sanbu pointed to himself lightly, pressing an index finger to the middle of his neck. "Pleasure, yes. It is always pleasurable experiencing new things, I hope I wasn't such a shock to you I imagine our appearances can be striking at times. Oh? Huh.." The hermit sighed before shrugging soon thereafter, indeed was that a good question. What was he truly doing here? No one did nothing even if they tried to, living is to be in a state of motion, seen or unseen. "I am not so sure yet, walking mostly but probably something else I would like to find that out too actually. If I do not observe myself I suppose I shall never find out for certain and then what would be the point of doing that unknown thing anyways? Well, this rock? It ought to do some good to part with, to stay in one place for too long does not sound like time worth spending." Naturally, the m an tried to participate as efficiently as he could. It did not take that much thinking to come to such a decision, boredom approached him so often in these circumstances. Sanbu walked around aimlessly, looking around for something he could not quite see or understand. "Say, I would love to help but I am afraid I do not really know what I am supposed to be looking for. What kind of parts are they? I was never one to be versed well with these kinds of things. I have seen Namek but that's as far as I have gone in this galaxy really, is this ship of yours meant for long distance excursions?" The Majin fumbled around as he started to sink his hands into random pieces of machinery, they all looked the same to him.

"Hooh? A Majin huh?" Yorick nodded at him for a moment before staring back at the grader where the small piece of scrap metal was just barely peeking out of the dirt, deep within the crater. Yorick plopped a hand to his chin as he pondered about the stranger's species. "Mm, no. I mean shoot, I haven't seen your type before. You make it sound like there's more of you out there, and by your wording, it sounds like this isolated rock is your home!" Yorick chuckled, turning his head over his shoulder to stare at the tall, red creature. "Which honestly, I find it really weird, ya know? I always took it as Earthlings looking pretty darn normal to me." Yorick himself, if it wasn't obvious already, was from a humanoid race. So of course his idea of 'normal' would be anything...well, humanoid! Not that he cared. Travelling the universe, he's seen his fair share of races.
"At any rate, don't even sweat it about your looks my man." Yorick said, turning around and offering a smile. "Trust me, I've seen some ugly creatures during my adventures, but you aren't even close to taking the cake! So I wouldn't worry about it." Yorick definitely was blunt. He wasn't even trying to be offensive, it was just in his nature! The guy wasn't exactly raised with the best mannerisms, and his upbringing and journey so far making him the kind of man he was today certainly didn't help improve that either.
The space pirate turned back around, staring down at the crater. The 'parts' Yorick needed help with wasn't exactly a pile of junk, but rather, a small piece of what appeared to be some sort of wing buried under the sand of the desert. It was within the crater! Yorick wouldn't have minded going the extra mile and blasting it out himself, but it'd be a drag to do so alone, especially if he wanted to be careful and not damage it beyond return. "C'mere, follow me. It's nothing technical, don't sweat it. I barely know all that mechanic junk. I'm just gathering parts hoping I can find an engineer or something during my time here."
The pirate grunted as he threw his arms back as a means to balance himself before letting himself slide forward, his feet dragging against the sand as he skidded into the crater. This planets gravity certainly made it harder to do most of the stuff he was used to doing on his planet, but he really had no choice but to adjust. Once at the bottom of the crater, he squatted in front of his target: the buried scrap metal he managed to reveal. He smiled, pressing his hand against it and brushing some sand off. "See? Looks like a wing! Shoot, if I strike big here, it might be more than just a wing. It could be a whole darn ship! That'll save me a whole lot of time huh?"

Sanbu's PL: 100'000
Sanbu smiled briefly, flashing his teeth in full. "A Majin that's right." After that short statement the man took the more passive position, listening to the stranger speak his part. An eyebrow rose on his countenance as he came to carefully listen to the words of the pirate with profound investment. Just what did the man mean by people of his type? It was a particular feeling that consumed his person, one he could not quite describe but had familiarity for all the same. There was something in this stranger's eyes that left something to be longed for, something he had seen many times again through the eyes of others. But in this moment these eyes were unique, as this experience was equally. The Majin offered a slight smile, nodding at the man as he prepared himself, giving his own response equally. "Oh yes, there are more of us here, near and otherwise. This planet is but the heart of our people but I am certain we roam other lands further from this place. We are a rare sort however, so that is something worth noting. I guess it is weird however, whatever that may mean to some individuals." Sanbu shrugged in a matter of fact fashion, there really was nothing to more to say about that specific remark. Quickly, he moved onto the next. "My looks? Well, Majin are strange that way... Besides my skin, well... everything can be modified on my body." Like malleable clay the Majin contorted his face and body in various ways. In one instance his countenance and physicality took the likeness of an old man, soon after one of a young woman. Her appearance suspiciously similar to Yorick's, after a brief show of more contortion he once again assumed his typical appearance. "I don't shy away from changing the structure of my body and face when the came calls for it, I do not believe we should be attached to our appearances. They will deceive us and part with the norms of society." Though he tried to reply to the best of his ability, truth be told it was hard to keep a cool composure when regarding the blunt nature of the alien's statement. Hard to digest but feasible anyways, his pride was swallowed for this moment. To control his character and perform better under emotional pressure was a skill he desperately needed to work on. Mastery was never available to him for he always fell to the foil of man. Emotion above all else. While he was still lost in his thought process he followed the pirate. Curious as all ever to see what the individual had in store for him, the prospect of a space-ship had aroused his intrigue and how he was slave to such curiosity.
Carefully did Sanbu inspect the parts, or at least the part in question, buried deep within the crater. Once again the hermit followed after the alien, flying down the pit before planting his feet against the ground closer to the centerpiece. A wing that was likely meant for some kind of ship capable of interplanetary voyage. "A wing? Hmm.. I guess it is then, I have not the eyes for these kinds of things but I'll take your word for it then." The Majin glanced at the alien before looking back at the machinery, he was incredibly fascinated. The man nodded at the stranger, readying a stance but not quite committing to any action in particular.
"I guess it's worth a shot if you're willing to go through with it, I'll assist when and if need be." Sanbu took a deep breath, readying himself for any kind of physical exertion, his power-level shot up brilliantly for a brief moment before rising back down again. The Majin gazed at the alien, looking for some sign of approval or otherwise.
