A small groan leaves Aurora as she stretches, one arm in the air and her tail swishing as she arches her back. The heat of the sun, cold to others, was almost crispy to the ice planet native. Such heat also wasn't helped by the presence of the materials covering the Arcosian's body, a set of clothes she had picked out months ago as a way of masking the more notable of her features. Dark tinted glasses to hide red eyes, a beanie to mask the horns and bio gem of her head, a thick jumper to obscure the bulges of her bio armour and a deceptively thick pair of leggings clad over her legs to achieve much the same effect. Her feet were even stuffed into the uncomfortable shoes she often saw the earthlings wearing upon the television. All in all, it served to make her look like little more than another Zoanthrope native, but that didn't mean it wasn't a hellish warmth for her beneath all the thick clothes. Glancing around, a minute sigh leaves Aurora as she waits in the middle of the busy high street of Central City. She had agreed to meet Zhalla here, although most likely should have expected to wait when she arrived far earlier than scheduled.
A sigh leaves her lips as Aurora crosses her arms and looks around. Despite having been the one to invite her red headed friend out, Aurora actually had little to no idea about what was going to be achieved. It had been a moment of weakness for sure, when she had initiated contact. Some animal urge to socialise, neglected by months of living in near isolation interrupted sparsely by... encounters. However, after her brush with the afterlife, the red eyed lizard had been experiencing... something close to a revelation. With everything that happened during the events at Mt. Frappe she had come to realise that, while the most important thing to her was still freeing her people, those around her were of... some importance to her, as well. Death had been a shock for the young woman, barely a year past being a girl, and it had shown her... things. There really wasn't a more accurate word the Arcosian could think of, but she now knew that there had to be more to her life than simply just pushing herself blindly into new frontiers in the name of her people's progress.
Hence why she had contacted Zhalla, a choice that had come as a surprise to Aurora herself. Of all people she could think of, it had been almost a shaock to realise that the first she really wanted to interact with now that she was free of a hospital bed was Zhalla. Although... Aurora supposed it shouldn't have been that much of a surprise. The woman had helped her when Aurora had first arrived upon, been the first native she had ever encountered positively. In a way, she supposed that had ingrained a sort of... subconscious attachment that awoke when she was feeling a need for comfort. Not that she would tell anyone that, of course. She still had her dignity.

Zhalla's PL: 52,750
Zhalla had been surprised at first to hear from Aurora as it had been sometime since she last saw or heard from the Arcosian at all- Though she had heard some whispers and potential rumors about an arcosian being involved in some dangerous Earthly events, deep down though she hoped that arcosian hadn't been Aurora. She of course agreed to meet up with her friend regardless though, hoping that she was alright. All in all the saiyan honestly did expect that she'd have to be the one to poke Aurora so that they could hang out more, but hey it was a good surprise, not all surprises were bad after all. Though it made her wonder if there was a reason beyond 'just wanting to hang out' that she had been contacted for. Only one way to find out she supposed! Zhalla wasted no time chucking on a green short sleeve shirt and a pair of leather pants to match the leather jacket she slipped on after the shirt, fitting on some black boots with green accents to complete her outfit. With all that said and done she was ready to head out and off to meet her friend at their agreed upon location! Reaching Central City was a cinch thanks to her bike but finding Aurora herself was a bit more difficult since the saiyan wasn't used to not being able to the arcosian features of her friend, like her bright head gem which she noticed was actually covered up when she did finally find Aurora- Actually a lot of her was covered up and it made it a little difficult to even tell she was an arcosian, but maybe that was the point? This concerned her but she tried not to let it show as she approached Aurora with a wave of her hand, " Hey Aurora, long time no see!" She wasn't sure if it was probably better to shake the arcosian's hand or not but her worry made her instead decide to go in for a hug if Aurora allowed it, " It's good to see you again, I hope you're doing well? You are alright... Right?"

Aurora looked up from where she had been looking into the distance as Zhalla's voice cut through the air, the Arcosian having left her scouter behind and not owning a phone to distract her during waiting. Turning just in time to see the red headed woman, the Arcosian was surprised at the sudden hug that enveloped her. Pausing for a moment, stunned, Aurora slowly reciprocates the gesture, strong arms wrapping around Zhalla for a second or two before the gesture broke and she found herself needing to clear her throat. "Mm. Yes. It is good to see you, Zhalla. It has been... a while." Aurora nods to the first being she had talked to upon arrival on Earth, who had introduced her to Dion and helped her back when the opinion of the Earthlings had mattered to her more. The events of Arcose's takeover had been... far more prevalent in her mind than they were now. "It is good to see you too." She replies, offering the rare smile as she looks towards possibly her first friend on the planet. "I trust you have been well, even after all the events that have occurred recently?" While Zhalla hadn't been at the mountain as far as Aurora knew, it could still have affected her.
"I am... yes, I am alright. Wounded somewhat, but I have an idea for how to fix that, and despite what had occurred at Mt. Frappe I am still alive." She nods, checking over Zhalla even as she gestures towards her cracked and damaged Heart Gem. "I trust you yourself are okay?" She didn't look wounded, but looks could certainly be deceiving, as she had found out with Dion. A small part of her wondered when it becomes normal for her to ask if her compatriots were wounded, and when her life became such a whirlwind of violence. She... definitely needed a break such as this one. "Well, I contacted you to go... well, to go shopping. For clothes. I have a few meetups with earthlings later on, plus Dion has invited me out to dinner, and feel I need more variation in my disguise. A-and-" Did she just stutter? "Well, i suppose you seemed like you would know the best out of every person I know when it comes to such topics, and I trust both your judgement and that you would do your best to aid me in this topic that I am... admittedly less than acceptable in."

The saiyan was both happy and glad that Aurora returned the hug, she didn't want to make the arcosian feel uncomfortable in anyway she just was concerned for her friend and wanted to try and show that in some way, knowing she wasn't the best with words made a hug feel like a better option to go with. While Aurora cleared her throat Zhalla would fix her own posture and tried not to look as concerned as she felt. Eventually though it became easy enough to smile as Aurora offered one of her own! "For the most part, I've been safe at least so there's that I suppose... Though the events have caused some unease"
Zhalla's expression cracked for a split moment and her concern showed through when Aurora pointed out she was wounded. Truth be told the Saiyan's mind started jumping to what sorts of wounds the arcosian could be suffering from that she couldn't even see from underneath all the clothing, one thing was pointed out though- her cracked Heart Gem. Aurora also confirmed she had been at Mt.Frappe which made the saiyan look rather uneasy, so she had been there. "Wounded? Who's hurt you? Can I help you with your idea at all?" She seemed a little amused that the arcosian was checking her over despite being the one who needed the look over herself. The ginger haired women would raise her hands and smiled lightly "I am okay, you don't need to worry about me, I'm just sorry I couldn't be there to help when you got hurt..." She was sure Aurora knew she could call her if she needed help of any kind but she knew how stubborn she herself was when it came to that for fights. "I'm glad you're alive though... Let's keep it that way please"
"Oh?" Zhalla quirked a brow after being informed of why Aurora had contacted her, what came after surprised her even more, "Wait- Dion as in, the boy we met at that bar? That fun and friendly bartender?" She'd give the arcosian a very gentle shoulder punch, keeping in mind that she was wounded afterall but still wanting to encourage her. "Niiiiice! You have gotta let me know how the dinner goes!" Though- she did feel bad about the disguise part but wanted to respect Aurora's wishes in that regard. Some people were just mean and biased based on your species and she had just been involved with the Mt.Frappe events so it was understandable. All in all though she felt honoured the arcosian trusted her enough to pick her for such an occasion. "Sorry- Got a little excited there for you, I'm happy to hear about the dinner and I'm more then happy to go shopping with you to help you out- Though it sure is a crime hiding away that pretty face and head gem of yours I get you probably have your reasons- What would you like to start with then? Something for the dinner would be fun! Do you know where about's he's taking you for it?"

Aurora nods, frowning only somewhat and Zhalla's words. While she knew that the events at the mountain had had far reaching consequences, and it didn't seem that Zhalla was hurt in any way, that didn't mean the Arcosian wasn't at least a little concerned for someone who could quite possibly be considered her first friend upon landing on Earth. If Zhalla was in trouble... well. Aurora felt that the least she could do was try and help, much like the woman had helped her, some time ago. Yet she didn't bother trying to push the matter, knowing that if the red headed woman truly needed anything from her that she wouldn't be afraid to ask. Instead she glances down, covering her damaged Heart gem back up with a small sigh. The damage to it had caused so many issues that... well. Just seeing it was enough to depress her somewhat. Although it was certainly nice to hear Zhalla showing concern over the wound. It wasn't the first time someone had, true, but... It helped remind Aurora that there were people who actually did care about her and her health. It... helped stave a few things off, and got her though darker moments.
"Ah. It's... well. It's an older wound, by a couple of months." She responds, grimacing somewhat as a twang of pain ran through her body. "I made a mistake. One i deeply regret. And during that mistake, I was struck by a powerful blow directly on top of it, nearly shattering it. In truth, I should be dead. For my heart's bio gem to be damaged in such a way and yet to keep living... well. It's a tale from Arcosian story books, not something I thought could actually happen." She nods somewhat as Zhalla raises her hands, glad to know that she herself was okay. A small part of Aurora scoffed at the fact that their lives had gotten so strange as to make checking one another over for wounds was normal behaviour, but she didn't dwell on it. That, much like many other things in her life, would be for a later that either never came or only did when she was alone. "As for my idea... Well. As much as it is a story book problem, it may also have a... a story book answer. There is always mentions of magics, ancient ones, that eventually fix the issue. The only problem is that said magics, if they even exist, are on Arcose. Which isn't open to me."
It hurt to say that her home, something she fought so hard for, was hostile. But it was still reality. President Hofferson had warned her, and she wasn't so arrogant as to take such a thing lightly. Fortunately it seemed that that particular line of thinking was being dropped, as Aurora was greeted with a shoulder punch and a rather... insinuating tone. An uncharacteristic blush made its way up to the Arcosian's cheeks, Aurora not being used to such open displays of suggestion. "Y-yes," did she just do it again? What was wrong with her. "That would be the same one. He has... invited me to dinner at the Star and Garter, to which I accepted. I shall endeavour to update you upon the events of the night, which is... coming up soon." Said restaurant was... acceptable, she had decided. Rather high end for the most part and fanciful by Earthling standards. Her blush would only increase when Zhalla called her face and head gem cute, compliments being something she was rather unused to. "Thank you." She murmurs, before shaking her head. "And yes, after some research I find I will need two things. Jewellery, and clothes. I... am unsure of where to start, however."

Seeing her arcosian friend sigh as she covered up her broken heart gem made the Saiyan frown slightly as it was pretty clear that this bothered Aurora in some manner. She herself didn't have a heart gem or know what it was like to have one but she did know what it was like seeing a part of yourself be injured or broken. Zhalla's expression hardened when it was mentioned how old the heart gem's wound was. A couple months? Just what had this arcosian gotten herself into? She couldn't hold whatever it was against her though as it was clear she felt regret about it. "We all make mistakes, Aurora, try not to hold it against yourself, what matters is how you choose to go about moving past it" She would offer a supportive smile for a moment, glad that her friend did manage to keep pushing on despite the damage to her heart gem. "Well hey you aren't dead, look at it as a second chance!"
The saiyan would put a hand to her chin in thought as Aurora explained that whatever this fix was, it was magic related and existed on Arcose if at all. "Wait, what?" An arcosian who wasn't allowed on Arcose? Wild. But maybe not something Aurora wanted to get into either. "Well... I could go to Arcose? Maybe I could get this thing for you? If possible anyways, magic is an odd thing and comes in all shapes and sizes, do you know what this ancient magics looks like or where on Arcose it might be?" If it wasn't the kind of magic that could be taken elsewhere though, maybe she could see about sneaking Aurora there... Or go through some sort of other means to help fix her friend's gem. There was magics here on Earth too afterall, maybe some of it could help.
Zhalla seemed in lighter spirits when the topic came to Dion and her reasons for wanting some more outfits. She hadn't really tried to aim for making the space lizard blush- or stutter for that matter but neither were bad things either. "Oooh the Star and Garter huh? Very nice, I hope the both of you have a sweet time" She'd lower her voice lightly and punch one of her fists into the other hand. "If he does anything funny though you let me know, alright?" She of course didn't believe Dion would though but wanted to make sure her friend knew she could always ask her for help if she needed to.
"Oh- No need to worry I can help you with those" The saiyan would smile and put a finger to her lip in thought for a moment as she looked Aurora over, she was pretty covered up but Zhalla still remembered what she looked like the very first time she saw her and she remembered the Arcosian had some little horns atop her head as well. That would make the jewelry part a whole lot more fun. "Let's do clothes first! Jewelry is usually used to compliment clothes so it's probably best to pick them out first, I have some cute ideas for when we get to jewelry though, follow me!" She would usher for her arcosian friend to follow as she headed to get off the street and towards the nearest mall- of which there was plenty given where they were. First stop would be the first clothing store once they got inside!

Aurora nods at Zhalla's words, the Saiyan being one of the few people the Arcosian felt she could take at face value. They hadn't even interacted all that much, she knew, but... There was just something about Zhalla. It felt... trustworthy. Comforting. Aurora wasn't sure if that was a side effect of her red headed friend's efforts with the youths at her home, or just a result of Aurora's own weakness, but in the end that didn't matter. Even being around the woman made Aurora feel... well, if not good then at least a little better about herself. "My mistakes have had... far worse outcomes than most usually do." She murmurs, looking down at the ground for a moment before forcing a smile and looking back towards Zhalla. "But I thank you for the sentiment." She replies, trying to shut down that particular line of conversation. Her actions on brench, he failure to protect Mt. Frappe... all of her failings seemed to be of far too large a scale to simply allow herself to forgive and forget. She needed to either fix them, or... well. What she had attempted to do, or failed to do, were of such a scale that punishment may be deserved.
"Yes, some of my actions have firmly established myself as an... an enemy of the Saiyan Kingdom, and even with the advent of Nashua's death I am not yet powerful enough to compete for the freedom of my home world." Aurora explains with a grimace. Even saying such a thing, even if it was technically a fact, still left a bad taste in her mouth. Not only was death a... regrettable occurrence, but to admit she was still too weak was something her pride as an Arcosian could hardly bare to stomach. However, that annoyance was quickly blasted out of the water by Zhalla's next words, and frankly left Aurora speechless for a few moments as her brow raises as far as it could go. "I-" She begins, at an unusual loss for words. "I- I suppose you could. I would certainly not be opposed to company, and yours is always valued. However... you do know it will be somewhat dangerous? If I am spotted on there by Saiyans, we won't have much time to escape before the entirety of their forces are upon us." Aurora was strong, but certainly not that strong, and that wasn't even including figures such as Scallio and Kayen.
"As for where... No, not exactly. My plan is to first break into the main vault where our most ancient of written texts is recorded to be, and from there... figure out where in a planet so covered in civilisation that ancient magics from when we were still competing for supremacy may lay." It was going to certainly be... an adventure, Aurora supposed. She didn't even have every single detail ironed out, which she knew was dangerous, but if her experiences had told her anything it was that even the best plans often fell to pieces the moment they were implemented. That being said, Aurora was quite grateful when Zhalla then moved on to the upcoming... meeting with Dion, even going to far as to (presumably) offer violence as a comeuppance. "Thank you, Zhalla." Aurora's smile wasn't forced this time, though it was significantly smaller than her forced one. "I will endeavour to keep you informed. it is the least I can do, for your help with these matters." Aurora would freely admit that when it came to fashion she was... woefully inadequate in both natural beauty and talent. Her thick tail, stocky stature and true form had seen to that during her younger years.
Speaking of, Aurora then found herself being quickly ushered don the street by her friend and towards the nearest mall. The sheer abundance of people once inside was enough for Aurora to worry about her disguise, but as long as Zhalla was there, it'd probably be fine, right?

Zhalla would offer the arcosian a comforting smile though she was upset to hear about how Aurora felt about the outcomes of her mistakes, while Zhalla herself didn't know of them in full and didn't intend to ask right now either way. Poking and asking right now probably wasn't the best time and might only result in upsetting her friend then actually helping at all. " You're so much more then just the mistakes you make, remember that" " Ah" The saiyan put a hand to her chin in thought. She herself didn't like the Saiyan Kingdom but she wasn't an established enemy of it either. She frowned lightly hearing something about Nashua and death. Was that the Saiyan in charge of Arcose she'd heard briefly about? " I'm... So sorry Aurora, but it won't always be this way! You don't have to do all that alone either you know?" Zhalla would put a gentle hand on the arcosian's shoulder, taking extra care to make sure to not hurt her already injured friend. When Aurora pointed out that the idea would be dangerous the saiyan would smile, " Nothing worth doing is ever easy, huh? Of course I know it'll be dangerous, that's what makes it fun right?" She'd laugh lightly before holding up a hand, " You not leaving the ship isn't a crime though right? I could go myself and bring it back to you- Err, if it's portable, if not then we can be in and out before anyone notices we were even there. What they don't know can't hurt them" Being a mercenary and bounty hunter of sorts had given her a fair share of silent missions where sneaking around unnoticed was essential but she wouldn't let it get in over her head. " We'll sort it out soon enough, but not right now, okay? Whenever you're feeling up to it just let me know" " Sweet! Really though I just hope the two of you have a great time, he seems like a great friend and person overall so I reckon you're in for a treat" Zhalla was of course more then happy to help with the leading up to the dinner though and it provided it's own little break to her too to be out helping Aurora with such. Once the two were off and inside the mall, the saiyan would take in a breath- She knew it took her some time to get used to the crowds of people and layouts of shopping centres like this one when she first came to Earth so she'd stay close to Aurora to help her feel more secure. " I find it easier to just go straight to the first clothing shop you see and go from there, otherwise you end up wandering all over the place trying to decide which one to go in and try first- Oh and you can always come back to a store if you like something after having gone to a couple others!" She'd inform her friend before heading to the nearest clothing shop to the two girls- Making sure she never lost sight of Aurora along the way as well. " This one here looks pretty formal! Would be perfect to start on for looking for something to wear while you're out with Dion, c'mon! Let's head on in and you can pick out anything that catches your fancy to try on!" Zhalla would enter the shop first and had already started going through some outfits to help start them off, pulling a suit top off a rack and showing it to Aurora; " What about something to compliment your gems? Red is bold! Oh or maybe something to compliment your powers- What kind have ya got? There's gotta be something in here that'd match!"

"Thank you." Aurora responds to Zhalla's words, forcing a small smile onto her face for only a moment. "I... Will try to remember that. Each failure is a learning experience, after all." She just happened to make a lot more, and often with a lot more consequences. That being said... She still appreciated Zhalla's kind words. They were something that, no matter how often Aurora may end up hearing them, were still of vital importance to the Arcosian. She, and others, made sure to remind Aurora that she wasn't entirely alone in the galaxy. The hand on her shoulder only furthered to cement that, prompting a silent nod from Aurora. And then, fortunately, they were moving past the topic, returning to Aurora's upcoming... trip. She shakes her head at Zhalla's words, something of a rueful smile on her face even as she turns away slightly. "I suppose I will never understand how one can consider more danger to be more enjoyable. That being said..." She looks back towards the red headed woman. "Thank you. I... accept your help gratefully. As for the ship thing, I doubt they would accept such a technicality. The kingdom and its residents tend to be... rather volatile, as i'm sure you well know. Not to mention, I have no idea what it even is, and only the barest suspicion that it exists."
"Ah, right, yes." Aurora snaps out of her half reverie as Zhalla mentions the upcoming meeting with Dion. Shaking her head somewhat, she nods. "Indeed. Dion is of strong moral character. I'm sure the night will be... pleasant." A strong compliment, but the Saiyan had earned it from her. His help at the mountain had saved her life, after all. Following Zhalla intot he mall, Aurora looked around in surprise. "It's so... clustered." She whispers, following behind Zhalla as she expertly guided them. People were everywhere, and displays almost as common as living people, showing a variety of wares from the banal to the highly questionable. She was very grateful for her friend's presence, the overwhelming amount of people being very different from the usual, after her months of isolation and training. Nodding along silently as Zhalla talked, Aurora followed her into one of the stores, ruby red eyes looking around in admitted fascination. There were... so many things, some of which couldn't possibly function as articles of clothing, right? Perhaps she had been somewhat incorrect about Earthling culture. It certainly seemed more advanced than she gave it credit for.
"I- I, uh..." She found herself at an uncharacteristic loss for words as Zhalla dragged her further in, before pulling off a rather square looking article of red cloth and showing it to her. "Um." Glancing towards the (two sleeves for arms, open lower half) top, she collects her thoughts to try and attempt speech. "Well, my ki is generally a blue colour, but... I don't plan on using it at the night, so I suppose this would be better. What did you say it was for? Complimenting?" That sounded like a good thing, right? "Either way, It's a very good choice." She finally adds on, lamely, and at a small loss for words.

"Exactly! You learn more from mistakes then you do from winning all the time, and hey everyone makes them" When thanked though she would smile, "It's no worries, keep your chin up!"
Zhalla would chuckle lightly at the more danger comment, "Maybe that's the Saiyan in me talking, but I suppose there's a thrill to be had behind it, that's why roller-coasters are so fun to lots of people right? Though of course those rides are safe- but they help simulate the feeling or... So I've heard" She'd never exactly been to an amusement park before or even near a roller-coaster but she'd heard stories from the kids in her care. "Well then I could go and get this thing for you! Maybe some of the magical people on Earth might have a clue? Or other Arcosian's maybe? I could ask around- I mean I still think that whole, Saiyans going blonde thing isn't too true, but there's plenty who've claimed to have seen or met Saiyans who can do it, so suspicion or not I'm sure there's some truth to be had in it- and if not maybe we could find something here on Earth to help you instead"
Zhalla truthfully found what Aurora said about Dion rather unexpected but then again the two described people rather differently. "He seemed pretty fun when we met him at that bar, I reckon you'd have a tough time not enjoying the dinner" And she hoped as much was true for the both of them. "Yeah-- Earth shopping malls tend to be, you get used to it after a while- Though that being said I still find it bothersome and prefer the smaller shops usually but! We're here to get you some nice outfits so" She could put up with the crowds for Aurora's sake though she did hope it wasn't too overwhelming for the Arcosian. "If you feel like you might get lost or anything you can always grab onto my hand or arm if you'd like, I don't mind- Wouldn't want you gettin lost"
Thankfully though they eventually made it into a store and out of the hustle and bustle of the crowd outside it. There sure was a lot of stuff in this store that Zhalla could only ever dream of owning- Maybe others would but she wasn't really the type to fawn over clothing, it was nice to have a few fancy things but nothing beyond that. After having shown the suit top to her Aurora seemed a little lost on what to say, causing Zhalla to tilt her head to the side lightly. "Blue is good too! Blue and purple can work nicely together and you've got the cutest little purple face to work with!" The saiyan would smile at her friend, "Why don't we look at, at least a couple things before deciding though, there's plenty in here to try!"

So long and it's not even a good post ;-; I'm so sorry
Aurora would nod at Zhalla's words, appreciating the offer of help even if her face didn't much show it, only being a slight smile. It was really all she could manage at the timer, as despite her happiness to be doing this, the prospect of what was coming was... stressful to say the least. With everything that could go wrong... well. it was nice to know that Zhalla seemed eager to follow behind her. That was a sort of reinforcement Aurora had rarely encountered and it was... nice. "I have never actually been on a roller coaster." She starts idly, attempting to make conversation about a less heavy topic than potential death, secret missions, or her own ineptitude at potentially, potentially, romantic moments with a certain Saiyan. "Perhaps, after everything is over and we have time, we... could go...? It's okay to say no, of course! I merely assumed that, since we both lack the experience, it could be fun for the two of us?" She tentatively invites the red haired Saiyan, although adding a rapid clause to allow Zhalla to say no. No doubt she had far better things to do than simply go to an amusement park, something that Aurora would typically view as frivolous on a normal day, but the news off Zhalla agreeing to join her had... loosened her control somewhat.
The Arcosian's brow would then raise as Zhalla continued to speak. Going blonde..? Did she- "Are you referring to the super Saiyan form?" Aurora asks, almost blurts. It just- it seemed almost ridiculous to her that Zhalla didn't know about it. Knowledge of the form was growing more and more common as public moments of it being used were spread around, and to find a person, let alone a Saiyan, who wasn't certain on the existence of something that had fundamentally changed Aurora's life was beyond off to her. However that was neither here nor there, and Aurora really didn't wish to alienate one of her few friends by making her potentially feel bad, so the Arcosian decided to move along as the two of them made their way through the racks of the shop they had chosen. Each step only served to let Aurora know that Zhalla had been the right choice of person to contact when it came to this thing. Aurora's focus and training had most certainly not covered fashion outside of formal attire used for diplomatic meetings.
Aurora couldn't help the slight reddening of her cheeks as Zhalla called her face cute, nodding mutely in agreement with what she said. Compliments continued to be a weakness of hers it seemed. "Ah, well... Uh..." She starts eloquently as Zhalla continues onward, stating that they should try more than just one outfit on. That did make sense, logically, and because of that Aurora managed to tap down the odd feeling of anxiousness those words brought up within her. "As a... thank you, if you want anything, I can purchase it for you." A hand comes up immediately, readied to stop any potential objections. "You are helping me, and will help me in the future. I have the resources available for this, and believe in paying my debts. Especially if it's to friends." The Arcosian didn't have many people close to her in the first place. It would serve to make sure those that were close to her were happy.

"I thought that might've been the case considering how you were when we first met but not to worry, I've not been on one either-" Though she had heard plenty of stories from her kids at the shelter from whenever their previous families had taken them before. When Aurora brought up the idea of them potentially going together to an amusement park sometime to try it, Zhalla would give her a smile "Oh? Yeah that sounds like it'd be fun and all, but wouldn't it be more fun for you to maybe..." The saiyan would snicker lightly as a grin spread across her face before she continued, "... Hold Dion's hand while on one" Her small snicker would erupt into a heartfelt chuckle for a few moments but she was quick to make it clear to her friend that she was just teasing her. "Jus' kidding~ I'd be more then happy to go with you to try it out together sometime, it'll be fun!"
When it came to the whole blonde saiyans part she seemed to hesitate slightly at how quick the arcosian was to saying the form name. "Yeah-- That" Frowning lightly she looked aside for a moment feeling like she was missing something or lacked the knowledge on something others found easy to understand. She was a Saiyan afterall, she should know about her own species' forms... Right? "That and the Great Ape thing... I mean neither have happened to me as far as I know, and as far fetched as they seem it doesn't mean there's no truth behind them, even if I've not seen them in person, yanno?" She had been trying to make the point of that what Aurora sought after even if it was only a suspicion for now, could still be a real thing that existed somewhere but she felt as though the point had gotten off-track a bit from the forms.
Zhalla of course upon hearing Aurora's offer to buy her something if there was anything she wanted, went to object almost right away but her friend was even quicker to stop the objection before it even happened. Dion tended to do similar to this as well-- No wonder those two got along so well. "... Are you sure? Don't feel like you have to do that, I'm happy just to help you out really, seeing friends happy is a reward in itself" The saiyan would offer a smile, "I'll keep that in mind though but we're here to pick out some outfits for you! Why don't you try a couple things on and see what you think? It'll help to narrow down the best outfit for you for the night if we can rule some things out afterall. There's changing rooms towards the back if you want to grab a couple things you like to try out"

Aurora's face deepens in colour for a brief moment at Zhalla's teasing, a response she was almost entirely unable to stop despite her best attempts. It was honestly a little infuriating just how little was needed for the Arcosian to lose absolute control. "W-well, while I'm sure that would be pleasant, I do tend to live my life outside of any possible... relationship, that I may have with Dion." She manages, before smiling as Zhalla acquiesced towards going. "Thank you. I'm uh... Not entirely sure when we'll get enough of a break to do so, but the moment it comes you can expect me to be at your door." She jokes, smile turning into a grin, before once again being swiftly killed and returned to her usual slight frown, her eyes darting around at every movement of the people nearby. She appreciated the pains Zhalla had gone through to help her, but still. So many people around. So many potential enemies, with the looks they gave the Arcosian. She knew it was beyond paranoid to even consider such people as enemies, but despite the fact that she could quite easily defeat them all if needed, Aurora felt the strange urge to try and shrink down. To curl up. So, of course, she stood even taller in a silent challenge. She wasn't about to bow down to something as miniscule as the opinions of random people around her, not when she knew that not only was she more powerful, but that she had nothing to hide for. While the Arcosian had certainly made mistakes, she owned them. Not to mention, they weren't looking because it was Aurora the terrorist, as dictated by the Saiyan kingdom. They were staring and pointing because it was Aurora, the Arcosian. Something she refused to be ashamed o- She blinks, realising Zhalla was talking and tuning back in, giving a slight nod.
"As someone who has found themselves in combat with both forms," Aurora responds to Zhall's musing, not grasping the point that her friend was going for, "I can assure you that they are decidedly real. Not many Saiyans that I've met live lives as good as yours, Zhalla. Where you seem to dedicate yourself to compassion, others..." A certain Saiyan pops into her mind. "Others dedicate themselves towards inflicting pain and taking what they want. And, I must admit, I feel that that is your most admirable trait." She says the words with a factual certainty. "There are not enough people around that take the time to care for those without anything, or help a friend out when she doesn't understand how to shop. I know for a fact that I myself am not one of those people, either." She then raises an eyebrow at Zhalla's words, following the Arcosian's offer to buy something for her. "I will not be buying anything if you yourself find little." She tells the Saiyan rather firmly. "It would be unbecoming of me to not pay back this favour you are showing me."
With that, however, she did what Zhalla requested and quickly went amongst the rows, looking at the fabrics with a critical eye. Fashion upon Arcose was far different to fashion upon earth, namely the fact that clothing was considered useless outside of battle armour, with the closest thing to it being jewellery. This of course left Aurora at something of a loss as to what to pick, but she did tend to gravitate towards the more official looking suits and dresses. It would take some time as she picked out what she deemed acceptable, but eventually Aurora would return to her Saiyan friend and meekly hold up a couple of outfits for her approval. Best to check if they were okay, of course, before going ahead and trying them on. "How do... how do these look?" She asks her friend, showing a variety of formal outfits. The majority of the ones chosen were suits typically found on men, although sporadically placed amongst them were a couple of dresses that the Arcosian had seen and been unable to really ignore. "Did you find anything, yourself?" She also asks, eager for any sort of distraction from her embarrassingly little knowledge on this subject.

Zhalla couldn't help but to grin lightly at Aurora's reaction to the tease, "Oh of course! I mean, you're doin' that right now afterall-- To a degree at least, I'm just teasing ya" She'd rub an arm behind her head for a moment as she looked aside, "Plus, I'm sure Dion will get me back for it once he knows I like someone too-- Do me a solid though and don't tell him that-" Probably something she should've thought about before poking playful fun at Aurora, oops.
"We'll work it out! You're always welcome to drop by, you know that" The saiyan would smile and give a thumbs up, it was something to look forward to for sure! On the topic of saiyans and forms though Zhalla would frown, "Yeah, I know what you mean, some of the kids in my care and there because of other Saiyans, got some nasty scars myself to show for it too" She'd sigh lightly before putting a hand to her chin in thought, "Though, that being said I've never encountered either form, and-- Well as you know I'm a saiyan and I don't recall ever going either form? Think I'd remember turning into a giant monkey, right? So what's up with that?" She found it odd, but surely there was a reason right? She was sure it wasn't a matter of that she just couldn't do those forms herself, so what was it? Zhalla smiled though soon after at what Aurora said about her most admirable trait. "Hey now, don't be so quick to determine that about yourself, maybe it'll rub off, right? I wasn't always the way I am now- Actually most woulda called me a little shit at one point even, but I grew out of that. Compassion can be pretty contagious" The ginger saiyan would wiggle her fingers and make a little 'Oooo' noise as she did, "Watch out it might get you tooooo~"
Zhalla would chuckle lightly and shake her head, "Ah, see it's already rubbing off on you, offering to buy me something is being considerate of others, it's already got you" She'd give her friend a smile though, raising her hands, "Alright, alright fine, you win, but we are here for you so you come first, alright?"
After Aurora had picked out a couple things and returned to hold them up to Zhalla, the saiyan would give them a look over before she flushed lightly having been asked if she had found an outfit to try on herself. "Oh uh, a few things caught my eye I just haven't pulled them off the racks yet-- These all look cute! I think it might be best to give them a try on though, it helps determine if they're comfy enough for you and if they fit right" She'd offer a supportive smile to the Arcosian before adding, "If it'd make you feel more comfortable, I'll try on some things too same as you, follow me!" The saiyan would lead her towards the back of the store, collecting a few things to try on herself as they went. By the time they reached a small counter at the back next to some stalls the saiyan had a couple things to try too. "My friend here and I need to try on a couple things, I'd like to grab two of the change stalls for a bit for that" She'd let the person behind the counter know before taking two 'in use' signs and sticking them on two of the stall doors, holding one of the doors to them open for Aurora with a smile. "Go ahead, I'll be in the stall over from you so if you need any help, just call out, once you have one on to try, just wait outside the door for me and we can show em off together! Sound good?"
