A groan leaves Aurora's mouth, minute and yet certainly there as her body moves. The cool wind of the gizard wasteland blanketed her body, making the infernal warmth of this planet's seemingly ever present sun at least manageable as the Arcosian stretches, needing to limber up her body. After a few days of laying in a hospital bed due to the events that had occurred during the battle of Mt. Frappe, her finely tuned body was feeling... rather stiff, and once she had been cleared by President Hofferson to leave the building permanently she had quickly made her way to the wasteland up north. Granted, there had been... a thing or two she needed to do before hand, relating to a variety of revelations that had come with her brush with death, but that was neither here nor there. At this point in time, she had only one goal in her mind: To get back to her training. The revelation about her heart was certainly concerning, and because of it... well, she would admit that she was a little scared to push herself too far. To be so unable to affect her own health, where her own body was suffering from her bad decisions... Well, she supposed she could admit to at least herself that it... it scared her.
"What am I thinking...?" Aurora whispers to herself, shaking her head to clear the thoughts from it and to focus. There would be time to figure out solutions later. For now... Her legs swipe through the sand and dirt of the wasteland as she slowly takes a familiar fighting stance. She had, before the mountain, been focusing upon mastering multiple fighting techniques. But right now... she needed familiarity. A leg went behind her, powerful and strong, even as her other reflected the distance on the other side of her torso. Then, lowering her centre of gravity, she brings an arm back to rest solidly below her chest bio armour, even as her right arm stuck out parallel to her extended leg. From there, she focused upon her breathing. Breathe in... breathe out... Ruby red eyes close for a second as she focuses, body moving minutely before stilling entirely. Exercise in her suppressed form was always something of a challenge, the restraints over her form meaning that each action felt like pushing against a solid tide, or walking around with weights. However, that also meant that any exercise in this form proved to be nearly six times as effective.
Brow furrowing with focus, Aurora's breathing stills... before she bursts into a flurry of movement. "HA!" She cries out, left fist rocketing forward with all the power of a jet. For a moment the space before her seems to bend and twist, before a thunderous crack rings out into the wasteland and a wall of pure force emanates from her fist, creating a single large furrow into the earth in front of her. Brow raising, Aurora straightens half out of satisfaction and half out of surprise. It had been somewhat of a while since the Arcosian had focused upon training in anything but her true and unleashed forms, aiming to master her emotional states during both of them, so to see such raw strength in what could easily be labelled her weakest form... Red eyes open slowly, and she looks down towards her palm. It meant... it meant she was one step closer to catching up, and was tangible proof that her efforts weren't going to be wasted. As long as she didn't push herself too far before she was able to fix her heart... well, there was time to dwell on that later.
For now, it was back to training.

Athel's PL: 84,000 | Active Transformations: None | Items: Blood Ruby Pendant, Demon Lämp
The Demon hadn't bothered exploring the northern regions of the blue planet too much, not being very fond of the cold temperatures it brought along with it. From what they were able to gather from talking to the few Earthlings that didn't run away in fear whenever they neared, the north tended to be pretty barren, so what was the point in looking around? But today their thinking was going to have to change a little bit. Seeing as though they were getting ready to make their way to a different planet soon enough, Athel was going to have to suck it up and take at least a quick trip to the north. And so, after packing some things into a little backpack and making sure they were well prepared for whatever they bumped into, the outlander stepped away from the school they tended to hang around and set off for the north in search of something of note! They flew just under the clouds, doing their best not to let the sun hinder their fli ght at all. But the further they got, it almost seemed as though the clouds vanished which was certainly making it a little harder to get around. "Stupid sun. If I could, I would blast the thing to bits." Athel let out quietly as they began to descend to the Earth's surface. A brief look around was done, the Demon taking in the scenery for just a couple of seconds. They found themselves in a very mountainous area, and as expected, there wasn't a soul in sight from what they could tell. There were more than likely people nearby, but Athel still lacked any real way to tell for sure. Truly unfortunate. "Oh well. This is north enough, I suppose." They murmured, lifting their hood up so that it was resting atop her head to help protect from the sun's harmful rays. The sound of.. something nearby managed to catch the Demon's attention. Though the odd sound that rang through the wasteland was definitely out of place and any normal person would've went in the opposite direction, Athel decided to instead travel right in the direction of the sound. What's the worst that could happen? A small mountain was scaled in no time at all, the pits of darkness that were Athel's eyes scanning through the area in search of what could've caused such a sound. Thankfully, it didn't take too long for what Athel assumed was the source. An Arcosian seemingly training alone in the barren area was what they figured caused it. Speaking of training, when was the last time Athel actually did anything like that? Sure they did some work on getting stronger from time to time, but nothing too serious. And they certainly would never come with far out of the way to do anything like this. In any case, the Demon hopped from mountain to mountain before dropping right behind the Arcosian! "Greetings, lizard lady!" Athel said with a grin. It was time for Athel to start shooting out questions one after the other. "What are you doing way out here?" They questioned, blinking somewhat afterwards. "- Well, wait. I can clearly tell you were training, but I meant.. why way out here? This place is pretty dead. I think doing your training in the middle of some city would certainly work out better! And it would be WAAAY more fun!" The Demon said. Of course, actually doing training in the middle of a city was less than ideal, but Athel didn't care. "And why are you by yourself!? You should have dragged a friend along with you!"

Aurora whipped around at the sudden impact behind her, the Arcosian's scouter having been taken off for the training session and thus was unable to alert her to any encroaching presences. She had been growing steadily annoyed with it, having been the reason behind her being interrupted so often during meditation, but as she stared at the... strange grey alien that reminded her so eerily of Safe, the Arcosian couldn't help but think that that decision may have been a mistake. Fortunately, it seemed that the stranger wasn't hostile towards the Arcosian, despite the... rather strange, and somewhat eerie feeling coming off of them. Her magic seemed to curl up slightly in the person's presence, almost as if it smelled something rotten or... Aurora wasn't sure. How very curious. In any case, it was fortunate that the grey alien had stood a little further back than directly behind the Arcosian, as the force behind her turning had created a small furrow within the stone from where her abnormally short and thick tail met the ground. Aurora opened her mouth to speak, a variety of questions beginning to bubble up, but the newcomer beat her to it as a barrage of her own came forth.
"I..." She begins uncertainly, a hand raising to her scouter to turn it on. As the numbers appeared and displayed the power level of the newcomer, a small sigh of relief leaves her, before turning the device back off. "I chose this locale because it is generally silent and empty. My training often requires a lot of focus, especially since I have neglected it for... some time now." Hospital stays could really interrupt one's schedules. Her frown then deepens as she takes in the grey alien's words. "...No, training in a city could risk destruction of property, hurting local inhabitants and the ire of law enforcement that is capable of defeating me." President Hofferson came to mind. While he himself certainly wasn't a threat, his creations were... significantly powerful, and whatever it was that had managed to rock the planet during the events at the mountain was still out there. "As for friends... well, none of them were available at the time." Not completely true, as Aurora was sure some would have dropped what they were doing if she had asked them to help her, but that was neither here nor there. A small sigh then leaves the woman, as an idea strikes her. She knew this type.
"If you wish... we could train together? You are rather powerful." And it would be good for her to test herself against something that she wouldn't need to pull out all of the stops against. While her heart currently wasn't able to take much strain, she should be okay... right?

A low hum leaves the Demon, the pits of darkness that were their eyes glued to the Arcosian's frame. They did their best to keep track of everything the speaker did and said, though they really hadn't done much moving around- save for the part at the beginning when they decided to mess around with their fancy eye wear. Thankfully Athel had come in contact with somebody who had one of those devices before, so actually figuring out what they had just done wasn't much of a problem. It was clear enough that Aurora was trying to get an idea of how much power the outlander had. Luckily for both of them- well mainly Athel- there wasn't going to be any fighting out of the blue. While the Demon might've been a little unpredictable at times, fighting for no particular reason was lame. They chuckled some, nodding just a tad bit afterwards.
"Ufufufu! Powerful? Me? I am far from it, from what I have heard." The Demon said, folding their arms across their chest as they usually did. "Apparently Earth's defenders and these so called, uh.. Super Saiyans could be considered powerful. My power pales in comparison to theirs, if what I was told is to be believed. So, I believe that being called powerful is a little bit of an overstatement, little one." Athel really didn't care all too much about training, being powerful, or fighting. If they had really gotten serious, maybe then they'd consider themselves powerful, but not right now. After all, from what they were told last time, their power level was only around sixty thousand when there were individuals who broke into the million range. A brief pause was taken, the outlander seemingly in thought for a moment or two. "But! I suppose I can humor you for a little while. Besides, getting the chance to train alongside an Arcosian is a pretty rare opportunity, I think- Or, well, maybe it was before you guys stopped conquering planets. You seem to be yet another one of your race that are more compelled to doing the right thing, so there is no way you would be out there conquering planets anyhow." They shrugged a tad bit afterwards.
"Either way! Even if this is a pretty barren training location, it will have to do." Athel says, eyes beginning to scan over the area for a few moments. A slight groan leaves them as their sights land right back on the lizard lady, the Demon grinning all the while. "Not having an audience to cheer us on and get in the way is going to make things a little less exciting, in my opinion. If you REALLY need peace and quiet in order to concentrate, then there's nothing more I can really do to make things." A few steps back were taken from Aurora, hands coming up to lower the hood that rested atop the Demon's head.
"Assuming you would like to spar, you are free to begin whenever you want." Exactly three nods were given. No fighting stance was taken, no fancy power ups were done, and really no actions were taken at all. Instead, Athel stood in place, deciding to watch and wait unblinkingly for Aurora to make the first move, that same old creepy grin stuck on their face.

"Your power is nothing to sneeze at." Aurora responds, even as she once again shifts into a stance. Different to the original, more reactionary one she had taken before, this one had a higher centre of gravity and an arm angled to provide a modicum of defence for the user. "Many seem to forget that, apart from my people, it is not natural to be capable of demolishing a city single handedly. Something someone at a power level of eighty thousand is more than capable of performing." She takes a small step forward, and yet despite the relative litheness of the movement, the ground beneath her feet cracks and shakes minutely, her thighs tensing as ruby eyes narrow. All around them things gradually became colder, her Aurora flaring minutely as an outline of calm blue lightt began to emanate from her. It was far from the Arcosian's full power, but... she wanted to take things slow. Not only that, but if this alien was offering her training, the least Aurora could do was do so in turn for her. Thus, it was best to start from a generally lower power and work their way up to the more devastating forms.
"It is true, that the Super Saiyan form is a force to be reckoned with, but at its base it does have a few critical flaws." Her form blurs for a moment as she crosses the slight distance between the duo, aiming to deliver a single punch to Athel's stomach. Less of a start to their spar, and more just an attempt to gauge out just how good this alien was at fighting. "It requires intense emotions to unlock in the first place, and beyond that is an inherently unstable form. Of course, that can be mastered later." Her leg stomps into the earth with enough force to dig itself in, before she pivots upon her heel in an attempt to smack the alien with her thick tail. "Not to mention, if I am correct in a certain theory of mine... you may be close to a revelation that can compete with it." It was only something of a niggling theory in Aurora's mind, but every time any compatriot or any enemy of her had achieved the power of Super Saiyan or something rivalling it, it had been once their power level hit six digits. If she was correct, then Athel did not have long to go at all.
She didn't deign to respond about the quip about her not conquering planets, the only sign of reaction being her frown deepening in its intensity. Memories of a boiling hot planet flash through her mind, of a confrontation upon a frozen over volcano, her threats and then... A small groan of pain comes from her, the cracked bio gem in her chest reacting to the memory of exactly how it became that way. A small red spark flies from her damaged heart, eliciting a hiss of pain from Aurora. "And while I do prefer peace and quiet, there eventually comes a point when one is too powerful to afford training where others could be hurt. I am... unsure if I am at that level yet, but it cannot hurt to be prepared." She was aware that it may sound potentially boastful, the way the Arcosian described herself, but that did not make it any less truthful. When she first arrived, she was capable of throwing a punch at full force that could maybe shatter a wall. Nowadays, one punch had enough force behind it to create walls of air that created gouges in rock.

It had been quite a while since Athel had last gotten the chance to actually fight somebody for the sole purpose of training, so they were pretty excited to see how things were going to end up turning out. If they had the ability to measure Aurora's power, then things would've been a little easier to prepare for, but alas, the Demon still hadn't gotten around to figuring anything out in that regard. They were far too busy focusing on other things than to invest in a scouter. That could be dealt with at a later date, though. For now, their attention rested on the Arcosian, watching and waiting to see what they did.
In comparison to Athel's rather relaxed state, Aurora seemed to flip on their training switch right away. It seemed as though Athel wasn't even going to have the chance to respond at all right away. How sad. Before long, the Demon's opponent lunged at them at nigh untraceable speeds. Had there not been some rather interesting information being passed along, perhaps there would've been a chance for the pale skinned youngling to avoid the incoming strike. But how could one so interested in absorbing all sorts of knowledge pass up the chance to learn more about Super Saiyans? A fist suddenly was suddenly jammed right into the Demon's stomach, their eyes widening and jaw dropping a tad. A groan that should've told just how painful the impact was leaving Athel not long after. Without even a moment to recover from having the wind knocked out of her, Athel was suddenly smacked away by the Arcosian's tail. They went flying through the wasteland like a rag doll, arms and legs flailing about until they eventually slowed down and rolled through the dirt for a few moments more before coming to a complete stop.
Athel decided not to bother getting up right away, laying face down in the dirt for quite a while. It wasn't all that bad down there. After about five seconds, they'd hop right back up to their feet and dust themselves off. "Ufufufu! You pack quite the punch, Arcosian." They say, unblinking eyes landing right back on Aurora. "Would it be safe in assuming you have actually encountered a Super Saiyan or two during your travels? Would you mind answering a few questions about them?" Another question was sent to Aurora, the Demon trying to decide on what they wanted to do for a moment. "You see, I have actually been kind of interested in meeting with one myself. Being up close enough to study one could be fun."
After their last sentence, they bolted forth as fast as they could- though to Aurora, it probably wasn't too much to handle. "Truthfully, when you asked to do some training, I was hoping we could just run along side one another or something!" Athel shouted out, grinning as per usual while they closed the gap between the two of them. It didn't take too long for Athel to get close enough to the Arcosian, and when they were roughly ten feet away, they hopped up into the air and extended their legs outwards in Aurora's direction, intent on drop kicking them. "Though you say I am close to a revelation, I have yet to hit it, so my power is still lacking compared to most!"

"I am afraid that if I were interested in testing my cardiovascular abilities, we never would have spoken." Aurora's voice would come from above Athel as the Arcosian floated through the sky to land near where her opponent had landed. She was impressed with the grey alien's abilities, although that was only showed in the slight tilt of her head. That had been the most powerful of all of Aurora's non lethal attacks, and the grey being had taken it far better than the Arcosian had expected her to. Waiting patiently as Athel lay face down in the dirt, Aurora crosses her arms, ruby red eyes analysing the contours and muscles in her sparring opponent's back. "You yourself are rather durable, I feel I must admit. Given the disparity between our levels of strength, that punch alone should have been able to do at minimum a little more damage than simply winding you. Although, my apologies about putting such force in. I merely believe that the best way to learn is by pushing oneself up against the impossible until it very suddenly stops being impossible, and if you are willing to help me... I wish to be able to do the same for you. To help you take a step towards achieving that new power."
"As for whether or not I have encountered a super saiyan, the answer to that would be most definitely. I have both fought beside and beaten the form." Aurora's eyes track the grey alien as they leap towards her, both feet leaving the ground in an attempt to... what was it called again? A drop... kick? A powerful attack, for sure, but with virtually zero chance of defending yourself if it were to go wrong. This is evidenced as a hand rapidly comes up to grab at the grey alien's legs, tilted her away from Aurora mid air and sending her sailing off to the side of the lizard. A hand darts out, but instead of punching the near stranger in her face as she normally would have, Aurora instead simply grabs her by the shirt. "I would be happy to answer any questions you may have, although I feel I myself must ask if you have ever learnt how to fight." Perhaps mildly insulting, but the idea of trying such an attack in a battle was as close as it could come to be anathema for the serious minded Arcosian. However, the alien's next words did almost manage to put a smile on her face. Almost.
"Ah, to study the Super Saiyan form is something I understand all too well." She replies, even as she sets Athel down, releasing her and backing off. "I... what is the saying again? I'll tell you what? I'll tell you what. Should you manage to push me far enough, I will not only schedule a meeting with a confirmed super Saiyan, but I shall also give you all the notes I have personally collected upon each significant Super Saiyan in this life, and the next." With that, Aurora punches her palm, aura of blue light beginning to flare around her with a startling intensity.

Even though Athel wasn't expecting much to come out of the rather simple dropkick they intended on delivering to the Arcosian, things ended up going further downhill than expected. They were sent a tad bit passed their target, only to be grabbed by Aurora not long after. This wasn't particularly a great spot to be in, seeing as Aurora more than likely had the power to either throw the Demon way off into the distance, or to repeatedly bash the poor Demon's face in. Though, not much mind was paid to the fact. After all, the much stronger individual revealed that they indeed had come in contact with at least a few of the so called Super Saiyans. Well, that was something to look forward to. The outlander was set down unharmed, a brow being arched some at the Arcosian's somewhat insulting comment. "Of course I know how to fight. But this is just training, correct? No real reason to start blowing things up, breaking limbs at the such." A slight nod followed. "Well, that's how I see it, anyhow ufufufu. Though, even then, you probably have more experience than me."
It didn't take long for Athel's interest in the whole sparring match to grow, however. There was no way that they'd miss the chance to gain more knowledge, especially when it involved something they were actually somewhat interested in learning about. "Really!?" The Demon shot out excitedly, their grin widening some. "In that case, I would be more than happy to put in some more effort- even if you, going off your level of skill, are likely far more experienced than me." Slowly, the pale skinned individual began to rise up and float back some to put a little more distance between the two. They kept their rather lax looking stance though, head tilting towards the side some, eyes focused solely on their target. "Well, tapping into my hidden power would make it a little easier on myself, I think- so for now, I will limit myself to whatever my current output is. Unless you're fine with it, that is."
Their hands became as flat as a board, arms as straight as they could possibly be. "Okay! Round two.." They trailed off for a moment, humming a tad bit just to waste time and make sure they were fully prepared. Oh right, one more question. "-Ah, wait. So does that mean I have to wait to ask questions?" They weren't going to wait for a response, though, deciding to dart forth at full speed as soon as their question was out, kicking up dirt and grinning all the way! Of course, your average Earthling wouldn't be able to keep up with the speed, but the Arcosian more than likely was capable of keeping track of the Demon. "Begin!"
It wouldn't take long at all to close the gap between the two, hopefully, and as soon as Athel managed to get close enough they'd begin what they felt might've been a little more up to par with what Aurora wanted. Athel's right leg would quickly slide through the dirt and past Aurora's left, finding a spot just behind the Arcosian's left foot. The outlander's right palm was cocked back, then was sent forward to slam right into the center of the Arcosian's chest at full force, not even stopping if it connected. The Demon's intent was to just kind of knock their opponent over. Though, they definitely expected something else to happen.

"I am of the opinion that one must always try their hardest in every endeavour, no matter what. Of course, there is a difference between trying your hardest to beat the other person and trying your hardest to practice. For instance, if need be I could simply enter the form that is my own answer to the Super Saiyan problem, but then that wouldn't be training, would it?" Aurora's shrugs, bouncing lightly on her feet and rolling her shoulders slightly to get the blood flowing. "Come now, use your martial arts, or however else you fight seriously. I wish to experience it." A half truth, although not much of a lie. While Aurora was interested in what Athel may be capable of, the Arcosian was more interested in seeing if this strange alien was possessing a form she had not seen before. Knowledge was precious, and information was one of the very few advantages she had over the super Saiyan form. If they had speed and strength, she needed more knowledge, more tactics and to maintain her racial advantage when it came to enduring hits that could knock others off of their feet and out of their respective forms.
Fortunately it seemed like Aurora's brib-... her motivation was enough for the grey Alien to become more invested in their activities, the smile upon their face being... almost reminiscent of Aurora. Or at least, how she used to be before everything that had happened. It was certainly an odd feeling, to be on the other side. "I doubt I actually am more experienced than you, actually." Aurora replies to them, settling into a stance as she waits for the alien. "My species is naturally incredibly powerful, and it takes relatively less amounts of effort for us to reach a level competitive with Super Saiyan than it does other species. I only really started training seriously about half a year ago, maybe less." In a way it was somewhat embarrassing for hr to admit that she had put in less effort than her compatriots, but that was simply how things were. It had taken Aurora a long while to realise that, despite almost never growing tired thanks to her naturally superior body, she was still growing at a rate faster than any of her companions at the time. She was rather curious about the alien's supposed 'hidden power', but had no doubt that it would come out eventually. At least, that was usually how training went, so she wouldn't worry about it for now.
"Hm..." She replies at their question. "..No, I will allow that. You may ask me questions, and although I feel they will be significantly less informative than the reports I have compiled, I will do my best to answer them for you." She replies, eyes widening somewhat as she realises that during her speech the alien was already on top of her. How... cunning, and certainly a trick Aurora herself would have tried if it were a real battle. She watched, red eyes moving rapidly, as the alien slid their foot through Aurora's feet and went for her left foot, almost certainly attempting to trip her over. But what sort of style were they going to use? Judo? Karat- FIST! Her hand darts, blurring with its speed, as her palm moves to intercept and rap around the fist aiming directly for Aurora's cracked bio gem, purple fingers wrapping around grey as she halts their momentum immediately, inches away from her damaged heart. "Do try not to aim for my heart gem." Aurora counsels, even as she feels Athel's foot push against her own.
Falling backwards, her tail slams into the rocky ground beneath them as she suspends herself with it, before pushing herself back up and attempting to increase the force upon her opponent's fist, still trapped between her purple fingers. "I recently received an attack there that has permanently damaged it, and it would be quite cripplingly painful for me to be hit there." She shivers slightly at the memory of a particular golden haired saiyan delivering a single, weak blow to her gem. It had resulted in her breaking down screaming, and had nearly cost her both the fight and her life if she hadn't been able to recover in time. "It is much like an open wound, or a bone broken in half." Perhaps that would make more sense to the grey enigma. Aurora... wasn't sure if it was particularly wise to tell someone who was practically a stranger about her crippling weakness, but it wasn't as if Scallio wouldn't have told anyone about her weakness by now, and anyone observant enough would recognise the uncharacteristic cracks in her Heart gem that were suspiciously absent from... well, from every single Arcosian in the galaxy, Aurora suspected.

Trying their hardest no matter what? Athel wasn't too sure if that was really necessary, even when training. But if Aurora's predection that there was some hidden power that was close to being unlocked, then maybe giving a little more effort than normal wouldn't hurt too badly. Power wasn't something that the Demon was all too concered with at the moment, but being able to go wherever they pleased would be made much easier by being stronger. And besides, they were going to get some nice information out of this whole ordeal, so why not go ahead and do their best to push Aurora back just a little bit. Truth be told, now Athel was somewhat even more interested in the first. They hoped that maybe Aurora could get pushed back enough to the point where they'd end up revealing this form that rivaled the Super Saiyans, or whatever. That'd be pretty neat to see.
Much to the Demon's surprise, they actually managed to catch Aurora off guard with the question and then the moving right on up afterwards. Heck, they even managed to get everything right into position. Everything seemed like it was going to work out just fine!- Well, until Aurora caught on and managed to grab hold of the outlander's hand. Their grin shrank some, but still stuck around as the Arcosian began to fall over. "Ufufufu! Forgive me, I was not aware that spot was off limits. I will refrain from attacking that spot again, you have my word." Athel said with a slight nod. Would they actually keep from aiming for the weakened bio gem again? Even if they did, having knowledge of the potential weakpoint was nice to have. Maybe all Arcosians could be damaged in a similar way, which would certainly help in combating the race of mighty lizards- especially since, aside from Aurora at least, most of the Arcosian's on Earth didn't seem particularly fond of the pale skinned troublemaker.
Athel winced some, feeling the grip on their fist tightening. What could they do to get out of the mess they were in now and begin striking back? "I am sure there are many out there who would love to be as lucky as your kind, child." The Demon said in hopes of distracting the Arcosian once again, tucking some of their fingers in to make a gun shape with their left hand. "Being able to get strong without much effort could certainly help out individuals, like these humans, for instance. With how much their lives are threatened, being able to fight back against the groups that threaten the peace would surely make them better off, don't you think?" Hopefully their free hand managed to remain out of sight long enough, but given that they'd already tried a trick like talking as a distracting once before, Athel wasn't expecting much to come from this. As quick as they could, they aimed their finger gun straight at Aurora's right foot, sending a thin, purple beam of energy flying straight at it. Regardless of if the beam hit or not, it should've at least kicked up enough of the dirt on the ground into the air to provide a smoke screen like effect.
From there, so long as everything went to plan, a quick chop was delivered to Aurora's arm that was holding onto their hand, should it still be there by that point. The Demon hopped back as quickly as they could from the area, hoping to once again put some distance between the two of them. "You know, I am actually a little curious at just how strong you are, my friend." Athel said, both palms extending out towards the imrpovised smokescreen, some rather weak balls of energy being blasted directly into it one after the other. Their grin widened some more. "Having the power to rival Super Saiyans would make things much easier for you, yes? Why not return to your homeworld and help make things right again?" They questioned, the weak blasts dying down after a bit. "I heard the World Trade Fleet was disbanded, so why not attempt to start that group up again as their leader?"

"Thank you." Aurora replies to the alien as they agree not to target her obvious weak point. While the Arcosian wasn't exactly happy about informing someone of her weakness, the damaged state of her heart was obvious to any who looked close enough during battle to see the sparks that frequently showered from it when she truly pushed herself into a form higher than that which she was born with the ability to use freely. Not to mention that during the battle at the mountain, as far as she was aware, many of her future comrades and opponents had borne witness to her own heart's rebellion against her. This... well, this relatively low power alien was nowhere near as much of a threat as any of them were to the comparatively weak Arcosian. Although Aurora had certainly been impressed with the seemingly default set of dishonesty in how the person fought. While many would have thought that their attempts of attacking her during conversation to be sneaky at best and dishonourable at worst, the Arcosian instead simply saw it was a wise way to begin a battle with a far superior opponent, if if said battle was little more than a simulation.
Staring down at the alien as they struggled to free themselves from her grasp (she had begun to float slightly, almost unconsciously), Aurora watched silently as the alien began to talk to her again, even as their fingers began to form a shape similar to those she had seen used by Scallio and others. Most likely some form of a projectile attack, a beam or an orb of some sort, to be used in an attempt to relocate and distract. Speaking of distractions... "Yes, I am sure there would be plenty." She responds, her grip only tightening on the alien's hand. "The Arcosian body is highly evolved and extremely powerful, something which is accredited to an ever increasing amount of natural enemies and fewer mass extinction events upon our home world." The alien's mention of the humans certainly managed to strike a cord within Aurora, memories flashing through her mind of... of another time. The battle over Arcose, the variety of disasters that frequently stemmed from someone with too much power taking things too far, much like she had done upon Brench, not too long ago... "...Yes. It would be good for the humans to have power such as ours. They don't deserve to have to worry about if each day will be their last, or to rely upon select few champions. Then again... it isn't as if Arcose isn't in a similar boat."
It was an issue Aurora had frequently thought over, but before she could continue the alien made their move. With a blur of motion, they aimed their finger... towards her foot. How curious. She had been expecting something closer to the arm that currently held them captive. No matter. As the beam materialised into existence, so too did an ability of Aurora's. Blue light appeared from seemingly nowhere inn a fraction of an instant, swarming to cover first her foot, and then the rest of her body even as the beam impacted, dirt shot up and Aurora released her grip at a small chop to her arm. Even as Athel sent twin orbs of purple light into the smoke, Aurora's voice rang out. "You fight intelligently." She remarks, obscured by the smoke. "Something which will get you rather far. However, while intelligence is certainly good..." The dirt and smoke would then clear, as if pushed by some invisible gale, to reveal an unmarred Aurora clad in icy armour.
"Power and strength are also required." She cracks her neck, before placing a palm into her fist. "As for mine own, my level is dictated 125,000. And while that is certainly enough to be able to combat you, there are... unfortunately for more powerful beings out there that I am... currently unable to compete with in any meaningful way. The difference between us is like that between night and day. Some of those beings have a vested interest in ensuring that my home remains under Saiyan occupation. As for the world trade fleet..." Her form blurs as she goes to cross the difference between the duo. A hand would reach out to grab Athel by the back of her head and pull her forward, even as a knee attempts to drive itself into her gut."It will be staying dead." Something as evil and inherently corrupt as the world trade fleet had no right to be revived, and Aurora was rather invested in ensuring that such a thing never came to be reality, and that any attempts to do so never met with fruition.

Even when the Demon had finally broken free from the Arcosian's grasp and managed to set off a chain of attacks that would hopefully help Athel get further ahead, they knew things were far from over. Weak attacks like those weren't expected to do much, except maybe put some distance between the two- and it certainly did help do that. For a few moments even, the outlander thought that Aurora had ran away while the makeshift smokescreen was up. Sadly, though, words broke through the momentary silence, the dirt and whatnot eventually beginning to clear the area. Standing in it's place, was the Demon's current training partner, wearing some sort of armor. Had they managed to get that up before the beam shot out? Darn. "Ufufufu! In my current state, managing to push you back at all might be impossible."
The idea that they had no chance of winning was made even more apparent when Aurora revealed their own power reading. The only way Athel was going to even have a slight chance of doing much was if they powered up. But if that was done, there wasn't any guarantee that Aurora wouldn't do the same thing in response. Though their information on Arcosian's was pretty limited, Athel knew well enough that they had a number of transformations at their disposal- and from what the outlander could tell, their opponent was still in their base state. If Aurora really had even just one transformation to go through, there would be absolutely no chance of victory for the young Demon. "Why not gather up a handful of your allies and attempt to drive the Saiyans back, in that case? If you cannot do it alone, getting others to assist you would surely be one way to go about handling the situation!" Athel let out. "There are a few Arcosians on this planet that would love to join your cause, I am sure of it. Most of them do seem rather.. timid, though. Perhaps you could try whipping them into shape, ufufufu~."
Sadly, there wasn't a whole lot of time to get prepared for the incoming lizard that was darting straight at them. Though they wanted to talk more, ask more questions, and of course, learn about the Super Saiyans, there really wasn't enough time between blows to do that. Before they knew it, Aurora was already throwing a hand out and pushing the Demon straight into the ice covered knee. Ouch. The Arcosian sure did seem to like aiming for that one particular area, for some reason. Getting hit in that spot once was at least somewhat possible to recover from- but twice? Now, that was going to be a challenge. There was going to be dark spots all over the Demon's frame after this whole thing was over and done with. A rather loud yell was let out, Athel falling down to their knees and hands moving to clutch the impact point, assuming they had been released after being kneed.
Maybe tapping into some of their hidden power would've been the best route to take things. Because right now, they couldn't even find the strength to get back up to their feet. They were far too focused on trying to put the massive amount of pain in the back of their mind, though Athel did manage to get a few words out, in hopes that Aurora would hold off for a minute or two. "T-Time.. out!"

"Nothing is really impossible." Aurora replied to the alien, almost on instinct. She knew it sounded preachy, but it was a core tenet of the Arcosian's beliefs. Nothing couldn't be done, whether through resources, planning, strength or something else. In a galaxy almost swamped in powerful beings, the majority of them far more experienced and far stronger than she herself, it was something Aurora practically needed to believe in if she was going to have any chance to take any o them on. The Arcosian looked down at where the alien was hunched, her brow furrowing. She hadn't expected her blow to be that... effective. It had merely meant to simply drive the air from her sparring partner's lungs, not drive them into the ground. "My apologies. I did not mean to hit you as hard as that." She says down to them, tail swishing out of something approaching regret as she extends a hand down in an offer to pick them up. "I will endeavour to aim away from the stomach, although the force behind the blow will be... harder to mitigate. I'm afraid I was already trying to go as lightly as I could manage whilst still being a challenge."
"As for why I don't gather my allies? The answer is rather simple. Not only is it of... a far more personal nature to me than I would like to share with the majority of said allies, the rest of them are too... ingrained in their earthling values. They would not help me take back my home, on the mere principle that it would mean that we would be the aggressors. They fail to realise that sometimes it is needed to be the one to step first." Assuming the alien would accept her offer, Aurora would then step back and wait for them to recuperate. "As for any Arcosians on the planet... the majority of the ones I have met are too aloof to the situation of our ancestral home." The very thought of it resulted in Aurora's teeth grinding against one another. "Not to mention, I doubt I could trust them. Most of my people are... rather duplicitous compared to most." A thought then strikes her, as she looks over towards the alien. "Ah, my apologies, I don't believe I ever asked your name? Mine is Aurora. Aurora Arctos." Obviously her manners had somehow disappeared between meeting the strange alien and beginning to spar with them.
