Watching Whisker bite into their own fruit had the Demon cocked her head to the side in a combination of interest and concern, Oh, he must have gotten a good one! She thought with a gradually widening smile as he shook himself from the effect of it. She covered herself, laughing, as more of the red juice got on her, “Whiskers!” She admonished between bouts of laughter. As she noticed Polaris dote on the little kitten, Zriracha found her laughter petering off, gazing at them with an expression of… well, content would be one word for it. Could she dare say that she loved them both? Perhaps one day – Hells below knew that the strength of her emotions were certainly powerful enough. Zriracha was just about to tease Polaris as he made to bite into his fruit a stood frozen just as Whisker had done – when she let loose a shout of surprise at the massive wave of flames that escaped his mouth. Then, all at once, her surprise turned to envy. “YOU got the fire fruit?!” She exclaimed, even as he seemed to bemoan his ow fate. She shook her head, walking up to him as he sat at the table to wave away some of the flames. “Such luck is a good omen in the Demon Realm. How fortuitous for you, Polaris,” She cooed with a wry little smile. But it was back to the games! Releasing a little sigh through pursed lips, Zriracha pulled up her little itinerary in a flurry of black flames. “Let’s see… God Asunder, yes, Dunk for Fruit, mhm… Oh we’re almost done. Very well,” She muttered, holding her chin in her hand, a bead of sweat rolling down her cheek. Sending the paper back to the realm, Zriracha grinned at the two, “This next game is the final in our line-up before I show you the final event for our day! Behold and stare in wonder-,” She reveled with excitement, before snapping both fingers and materializing behind her… Something… odd. It appeared to be a large container of water that appeared to boil with a seat above it that held a bullseye just below, big enough for one to throw a stone (or a ball) at. She turned around, all smiles, until she noticed that the water WAS in fact boiling, “O-OH! Too authentic! No no!” She waved her hand, cooling the water almost immediately. When it no longer rolled with bubbles, she turned back to the two, “W-Well… now that it is safer, who would like to try and knock me into the water?” She was… originally going to ask each if they’d like to be dunked, but seeing the water the way it was – she cared too much about them to allow it. Whisker's PL: 48,000
Whisker watched Polarus and Zira carefully, wandering what Polarus would get while also carefully glancing at Zrir to see her reaction to it. Whisker was convinced something was going on, though he didn't quite know what. The two of them seemed curiously close recently, and while that made him happy, he wanted to know if he was just imagining it! After all, they were like a family to him... what if they could... no, no that'd be too much to ask... right? shaking his head, he watched Polarus as his mouth lit up in flames. A worried gasp followed by uncontrollable laughter engulfed Whisker as he fell to the floor, his tiny paws kicking up and down as he held his gut. "Hahahahaha! You're a dragon now Plaris? That's so c-cool!" The laughter continued for a while before Whisker finally calmed down and stood back up, wiping a tear from his eye with a big smile. His eyes went wide, as did his smile when he saw the next and final game they were going to play. Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh I have ALWAYS wanted to play this! Whisker hopped up and down rapidly in excitement before hopping on Polarus' shoulders. "We can do this! This is gonna be so much fun!" He waited for Zira to get situated on the platform before starting to throw a few balls lightly. He made sure to miss the first couple as a tease, knowing full well that Polarus would be far too competitive to miss, even for a game such as this. When he ran out of balls, he stuck out his tongue "in defeat" and let out a playful sigh. "Guess I'm just noooo good!" He giggles and handed some balls to Polarus to throw. "Get her Plaris! I know you can do it!"

Many a conflicted feeling was felt as both Zriracha and Whisker shared their reactions to Polarus' odd predicament. First, he looked toward Zriracha expectantly- anticipating a verbal battering, and perhaps a joke or two made at his expense, but instead what he got was, jealousy? The Arcosian stared at the demonness with a look of amazement on his face as he rubbed his sore jaw, mouth slacking as he attempted to speak, saying in an amused, pained, but overall incredulous tone, "Biting into a fruit of, that, nature, is supposedly an omen of good things to come? This must be a cultural difference then, as I myself felt, well, not exactly lucky, as the fruit began to take its toll on my being." He wondered whether there were more, odd, niches such as this within Zriracha's demon clan's culture, and if he'd have to go through much more of this if he was to court Zriracha seriously in the future. The thought of it, while not at all pleasant, was at least in his mind tolerable if it meant he could retain Zriracha's hand at the end of it all.
He wasn't looking forward to eating another fruit of demon origin, anytime soon, though.
And then, Polarus finally looked toward his surrogate son- a more amused look on his face as he patted Whisker on the head as the kitty cat laughed his furry little face off at his master's misfortune. He picked up Whisker by the underarms as he finished his laughing spree, waving him around jokingly for a couple moments as he said in a mock-angered tone, "How dare you mock the great Polarus-!? Just a few moments ago, you suffered a similarly sour fate, did you not-!?"
Polarus was only joking of course, and was sure to ensure they knew that as he set Whisker down in his lap, looking over at Zriracha- waiting on her for the next activity upon their little to-do list. He listened closely as he was told that this would be the second to last festivity before the endgame, and was ready to take the, "w" as the kids say, as he did the last few games.
Well, that was until he realized what the objective of the game was. His eyes widened as he stared at the boiling vat of water now materialized in front of him, and the emperor slowly began to position Whisker safely behind himself just as Zriracha attempted to clear up her small mistake. Though, it still slightly worried him that supposedly the first vat of boiling water was apparently the authentic version of the game rather than the parodied version. What exactly did the denizens of the demon realm do for fun that included a boiling vat of water!? It wasn't that he couldn't survive such activities, but, it didn't mean it wouldn't be painful as all Hell.
Whether he wanted to know or not, he technically got his answer as Zriracha explained the objective of the game, whilst cooling the water within the vat down to a more, survivable, temperature. However, seeing as the water was still potentially a large safety hazard, and Polarus also cared way too much to allow Zriracha to be hurt within his care, the Arcosian slowly stood up from his seat on the bench. Walking over toward the vat, and stopping just next to Zriracha to pat her gently on the head- flashing her a caring expression as his mask slowly slid back onto his face as he said, "I think it's my turn to take the fall, yes? I've been winning much too often anyways."
Finally, the Arcosian hopped right onto the seat above the container- worriedly swaying back and forth for a couple seconds (it seemed the seat wasn't exactly meant to hold a person of his size) before it finally calmed down to a stop. He then looked toward Zriracha and Whisker, flashing them an OK sign with his right hand as he awaited one of the two to try and knock him into the watery depths below.

She was ready to get into the large container, assured that even if the water wasn’t cooled, she would have hardly been harmed by its boiling point. The interaction between Whiskers and Polarus was beyond adorable and had her nearly want to show them the grand finale of the event – however, before she could make her way to the tank it was the Arcosian himself that approached her from the side and placed a hand atop her head. She looked up at him, an eyebrow arched curiously, before the mask on his face slid down to reveal his completely expression. Her eyes widened, face flustering a bit, as even she couldn’t deny the sense of pride in her male choosing to quite literally ‘take the fall’ in a consecutive run of wins. It spoke volumes of his ability to concede and, to spite herself, Zriracha grinned. “Very well, then.” And gestured for him to go on up, walking backwards herself to retreat back to Whisker. She looked over at him, kneeling down, “Come, you get to go first…” She allowed and, if he took the offer to be upon her shoulders, Zriracha would stand to her full glamoured height and encourage the kitten with loud cheers to do his best to knock the Arcosian into the water. Alas, it seemed even Whiskers’ incredible aim wasn’t up to the task and the Demon would take some of the balls that were reserved for her and – with Whiskers still atop her shoulders – would play a bit to her own strengths. All three balls levitated in the air, strung along by her magic as she telekinetically held them aloft. “Pray forgive my temerity, Dear,” She called to Polarus just before she brought her thumb and middle finger together and snapped. Like a bullet, all three shot at once and smashed into the bullseye, triggering the mechanism to drop Polarus in and raise a HUGE wall of water from the tank. Unfortunately for them, that left… no water for Zriracha to fall into next and she brought a demure little hand to her face in mock disappointment, “Oh my – it… looks like that’s end of that,” Struggling to keep her snickering in.
