Suri had heard about Nashi's demise from Daruma a while ago, and knew that he would be in the Upper Worlds of the Otherworld. She wanted to see him again, had things she wanted to tell him, things to ask him and so on. But that was impossible. She didn't have any Dragon Balls on hand, not that she knew how to find them, nor any other methods that would allow her to see her teacher again.
So, with no ideas left, Ma Suri consulted her aunt, Ma Beop, who was a middle-aged, retired Earthling witch. She was the one who first taught Suri how to use her magic, and most of the things the Majin knew about magic in general. Anyway, according to her aunt, there was a magical mountain, even more magical than Frappe, hidden away somewhere on the Earth. And hidden within that mountain was a Gateway to Heaven that spirits passed through. The living could also attempt to pass the flames of the Furnace in order to visit the Otherworld for a limited time.
So, here Suri was, walking toward the mythical furnace. The mystic illusion creatures and pesky yet aggressive bats made flying a harder task than usual, and in fear of a crash landing onto the spiky rocks, Suri travelled on foot. In her pockets were capsules holding food, supplies and training gear, as well as the Magical Lamp her aunt had made for her. And, for the first time in a while, she was clad in her blue and white gi, bearing the symbol of the 猫Cat School.
It was a long, tiring hike, but Suri felt instant relief when she finally saw the doors to the fabled furnace in the distance. Once she was near it, Suri materialized an ice cube and sat on it, wanting to catch her breath before heading in. She pulled out a can of Hetap to hydrate herself, while also starting to encase her body in chunks of ice in preperation for the heated inferno behind the gates.
