The North Pole. An endless sheet of white, stretching as far as the eye can see and farther. Truly, it was one of the Earth's greatest natural wonders. Unfortunately, Lao was unable to appreciate the natural beauty of the location, because he was currently freezing his ass off in the raging blizzard buffeting the ice plains of the pole. "Oh g-geez, I am so g-g-goddamn l-lost..." he stammered as the biting wind cut right through his absurdly thin gi. Normally in cold conditions, Lao was able to keep himself warm via the circulation of his ki. But here at the pole, the cold was so intense that even the flame burning inside him couldn't keep him from freezing... well, at least not entirely. Without it, he probably would have frozen to death long ago. It had never really been Lao's intention to visit the North Pole, to be honest. Lao, in his usual way, decided to test his abilities by doing something incredibly reckless and stupid. He had flown to the very limits of Earth's atmosphere, hoping to train himself by enduring the thin air. It didn't work out, and he passed out somewhere high above Earth's surface. And when he woke up, he was buried deep into a snowdrift here at the north pole. Heck, the only reason he even knew it was the pole was because of how his compass went crazy when he tried to figure out where he was. And now that Lao was here he couldn't figure out how to leave. The high winds made flying difficult, and he kept getting turned around in the storm, so he couldn't get back down south even if he did know which way it was.
But there was one thing that gave Lao hope. An energy signature, and a pretty darn powerful one at that. He could feel it clearly in his mind, the aura of a strong person not too far away. He had almost mistaken it for Polarus at first, it had the same sort of feel. But it was... sharper? Colder? It was difficult to describe, even to himself. Polarus' aura had a sort of heat, like putting your face too close to a fire. This was more like sticking your face into a freezer, an experience with which Lao was becoming intimately acquainted as he struggled to trudge through the snowdrifts towards his destination. Whoever this was, they were also quite a bit stronger than Polarus. Not that Lao would ever say so to his face. As Lao felt that he was getting close, he squinted off into the distance where he could feel the aura from. He could almost make out... something? It looked like some kind of structure, but it was difficult to tell in this weather. As he continued trekking towards it, he could only hope that whatever he found up here was nice to visitors.

Aurora gazed up at the slowly growing castle of ice that she and Suri had started to develop, the Arcosian having been working upon slowly growing it upward and outward into something she herself would truly consider... well, perhaps not magnificent, but certainly impressive enough and actually liveable. For now however, it was merely a few stories and multiple arching, spiky spires. All around her the usual blizzard of the north pole howled and raged, battering at her skin with little to no actual effect. In fact, she merely felt more at home, the colder it became, and once again congratulated herself upon her decision to visit this part of the planet. It was as close to Arcose as she was going to achieve, and with the added cold from her magic she finally began to feel like... to feel like she was almost home. Of course, that wasn't true, and never would be until she finally managed to reclaim her home world from the Saiyan Kingdom, which in and of itself was a goal far away and behind many hurdles that for the moment were insurmountable by herself. Of course, perhaps she might be able to recruit others to the cause, but... for some reason she didn't want it. It was a very personal mission.
Suddenly her scouter beeps, snapping the Arcosian out of her thoughts as she attempted to form a spire in a specific way, still not used to intricate and permanent structures just yet. Watching in frustration as her broken concentration resulted in the pillar shattering, the ice thudding into the ground before she could dispel that particular thread of magic. With a sigh and a wave of her hand, Aurora focuses upon the scouter over her eye and spins in place to locate wherever the power signature was coming from. Localising it to be in the distance and only barely within her scouter's range, Aurora's brow raises at the power level displayed. While nowhere near her own, it was still rather... significant. Granted, with each encounter upon earth, finding power levels such as this one was become less and less unusual. Still, it warranted investigation, if only so that she could properly label what sort of species it belonged to and exactly what type of person someone holding that much power was. There were enough crazies out there, she knew that from first hand experience. After all, she was one of them in a way. Her action on Brench hadn't been forgotten.
Fortunately it didn't seem like she would need to approach the signature as it gradually closed in upon her, no doubt attracted by her currently growing citadel. While for a moment she considers simply going back to her work while the being approached, one look at her scouter told her it was making good time and wouldn't take long to arrive. So instead she settled in for the short wait, choosing a perch up on a nearby iceberg to wait for them. Settling in, she crafts herself a small seat (okay, more like a throne) to sit upon. It didn't take long for the being to come into sight, and she was... rather surprised to see that it was a human. Their kind, even the strong ones, barely ever managed to lift themselves up past the mid twenty thousands. To see one that was halfway toward reaching a point that they'd be able to match her... it was both intriguing and shocking, in a way. "Greetings." She calls out from her perch towards the... man. Scruffy, too, and looking generally dishevelled. Although that could simply be from marching through the Arctic. "And what would a human be doing out here, so far away from one of your cities?"

As Lao approached the structure in the distance and it came more clearly into view, Lao was awed by what he saw. Some kind of castle made of ice, with towers and spires and all that stuff. It looked kinda... incomplete, though. Maybe it was still under construction? The energy signature he had sensed had stopped moving around, like they were waiting for him. "Well... good. At least they're expecting me, right?" Although that's what he said, he couldn't help but feel an ominous feeling, like maybe he shouldn't be here. Then again, it's not like he had any choice, lost as he was.
As he made his way through the snowscape, he thought he'd announce his presence. "Hello? H-helloooo? Is a-anybody home?" He shouted, teeth still chattering from the cold, more to make himself feel better than anything. "H-hell- Oh, hello." He stopped suddenly as an imposing throne of ice loomed in his view. Sat upon it was a person, staring down at him in a rather imperious way. (But maybe that was just the throne) As she spoke, he couldn't help but feel a little relieved that it wasn't some kind of monster up here. Arcosians could look a little scary, but Lao had been traveling with Polarus long enough to be thoroughly used to it. "Uh... hi. I-I'm Lao. I'm a l-little lost. I c-c-c-could use some h-help." His tone was friendly, or at least as friendly as he could be while trying to communicate through chattering teeth and uncontrollable shivering.

Aurora's brow raised in something approaching surprise as the human addressed her with a surprising amount of... assuredness. Despite the situation he found himself in, and her present stance, he was still capable of introducing himself in a way she found most earthlings did. How... irreverent. Well, she supposed that she certainly wasn't due any sort of reverence, but it was still a little surprising if she took an outsider's perspective. "Hello, Lao." She says after a few seconds of watching him shiver, red eyes openly scrutinising everything the human was. A few more seconds of silence past, before a hand raises and the raging blizzard around them suddenly stops, howling gale replaced with eerie quiet as all around around them the obscuring curtain of snow disappeared to reveal a glistening wasteland. While it would certainly still be rather cold, Aurora redirected the majority of it away from him. Not enough for him to be comfortable, perse, but certainly not even close enough to kill even a normal human let alone one as powerful as he was. "I must admit, I am... surprised. To see a human amidst this wasteland is certainly no common thing, although judging by your attire... I have no doubt about your claim to be lost."
A small part of her wondered as to what level of idiocy would result in getting so lost as to land and explore the north pole without any way to deal with the normally oppressive cold that had only gotten colder with the Ice Demon of Mt. Frappe's arrival. Her presence, which naturally generated a blizzard of dangerous proportions, had expanded in such an environment. "Well, if you need help I suppose I can do my best to assist." A part of her wished to perhaps ask for something in return, but if Aurora's experiences with earthlings and those raised with their values were to mean anything... it was best to not mention any sort of recompense, if one wished to gain the most from them. "My ship is warm, well stocked, and perfectly capable of returning you to... warmer climates." Granted, it was currently buried beneath a couple of tonnes of snow, but the Arcosian had been keeping it like that for a long while now to very little damage. A thought does then strike her, red eyes piercing into Lao's own for a moment. "Although... I must admit I am curious as to how you don't seem surprised to see a member of my kind. We are hardly common."

Lao breathed a sigh of relief as the chilling winds died down. He wasn't warm by any stretch, but it was a vast improvement over a few minutes ago. "A ship, eh? Like a spaceship? That'd be great! Truth be told, I've never been inside one..." He had seen spaceships before, of course. It was tough to miss them, living in the city. But he'd never had occasion to go into space. But now, after meeting so many strong people hailing from other planets, he had been looking to the stars with a great deal more curiosity than usual. "Say, what is it powered by? Can it go faster'n the speed of light? Does it have cupholders?" Lao's excitement was irrepressible. He gets to meet a ridiculously strong person, and he gets to see a cool spaceship? How could this day get any better? Now he was almost glad he passed out in that snowbank.
In response to the chilly Arcosian's question, Lao would scratch his scraggly beard and reply. "Well, I guess it'd be 'cause I'm so used to my pal, Polarus. He's an Arcosian... y'know, like yerself. I met up with 'im after he came to earth to look for..." Lao rapped his forehead with his knuckles as he struggled to recall exactly what Polarus had come here for. "Saiyans! That was it. He was lookin' for some information on saiyans, so I've been helpin' him look. He's pretty scary-looking at first, but he's a big softie, really." Lao shrugged, hoping that explanation would suffice. Lao's travels with Polarus had taught him a lot of things, and lesson one had been to not judge by appearances. Lao was pretty proud of his ability to be polite to members of all species, and it had served him well so far. How many great fights would he have missed if he hadn't made friends with so many creepy aliens? Lao didn't even want to entertain the thought.

"...Yes. As in a space ship." Aurora half drawled, still looking down at the human from her perch. She had quite honestly never met someone like him. While she had initially come to Earth expecting a backwater planet filled with... what was the word the earthlings used? Hill billies? Something along those lines. In any case, she had been pleasantly surprised to find a rather advanced society constrained by problems that plagued even the Arcosian people. That had further been reinforced when she met with a variety of the natives, such as Suri, Dion, Zhalla, Renuldo and others. Even Renuldo, who had lived in a cave with a group of monks, had been polite and generally well dressed. This man, however... Was scruffy, and somehow managed to look dirty in the middle of possibly the one place on the planet where finding dirt was a significant accomplishment. His clothes were torn, and he spoke with a casualness that would have bordered upon suicidal if Aurora actually was the imperious little noble she was having fun playing at the time. This was the type of person she had expected to fill the entirety of planet earth, and it was pretty weird to finally see it.
"It is powered through solar energy. It uses a warp drive to essentially pinch space in bursts, allowing it to jump great distances in an instant. As for cup holders... no, but I have a kitchen in there, along with a dining room. I trust that counts?" She finds herself answering the rather peculiar questions. Or, well, question. The first two made sense. The last was just weird. However, her attention was soon ripped from where she was mulling over the human's words by... well, the human's words. Her eyes widen somewhat at the mention of another Arcosian. There... she... There was another?! She hadn't even seen a member of her own race in the flesh since arriving upon earth. She had thought... well, Aurora had thought she was the only one on the entire planet. She leans forward in her throne, fingers digging into the ice with enough force to send cracks running through the entirety of the iceberg. "This... Polarus. You said you were going to meet him? Where, exactly?" She questions, hoping the excitement she felt didn't enter her voice. While it was probably very obvious, the prospect of meeting another Arcosian after so long was enough for her to temporarily abandon total control.

Whisker's PL: 48,000
Huff... huff... so cold! But... after the journey up mount five-element, this is nothing! Trudging through snow so deep it almost reached his chest, one tiny cat by the name of Whisker made his way through the frozen wastes of the polar north. He was bundled up in furs and jackets thick enough to prevent a nasty injury from a serious fall, and was protected from head to toe from the unforgiving environment. Following close behind the three foot cat was a giant of an Arcosian, whose bio-armor protected him from everything the north pole had to offer. Bitter winds, snow so constant and pure white that it could burn your eyes, and ice begging you to take a wrong step made traversing this deadly location all but impossible for the unskilled. With temperatures so far in the negatives that it could freeze a cup of water in moments, the harsh landscape was anything but pleasant- and it is for this reason that he and his mentor, Polarus, came here to train. Of course, training required a proper location, and this blizzard made it hard to see anything at all, let alone find any sort of arena. The unlikely duo had travelled mere hours to get so far north that they started to experience the biting cold, but continued on foot any further, convinced that the training had begun the moment they arrived. Polarus was at an advantage in this area, and was sure to be used to fighting in such conditions, but Whisker was far more accustomed to arid deserts and hot tropics. Being born on Konats and raised by a talented and powerful instructor, Whisker had an edge when it came to endurance over most other children his age. Of course, there was always an exception, but he was a tough little guy who never gave up in the face of adversity! It was his idea to come here in the first place, as he had heard it would be an amazing place to test out his new gear! Strapped on the outside of Whisker's coat was a small device with an LED Screen and a green dot with a gauge. This little device was special an would surely help him with his training, so that he could become even stronger! "Plaris, when do you think the storm will let up?" Whisker shouted, his own voice hard enough to hear because of the storm. He had gotten somewhat used to the numbing cold of the ice sheet, but was still ready and eager to proceed with training. Whisker stopped and shielded his eyes from the storm to look around. Anything at all besides flat snow would be a welcome sight to his eyes. In the distance, he could vaguely make out the shape of something... much larger than anything else around. That wasn't exactly hard to do, but its large size made it stick out even more compared to its surroundings. "Whoah! What's that Plaris? Is that supposed to be there?"

As mentioned by the slightly shivering ball of fur in front of him, the hulking unit of a figure formally known as Polarus Wintergreen had indeed been traveling closely behind Whisker for what seemed to be the past couples hours in order to ensure his little furry friend wouldn't suffer a bit of a fall on their way to a competent training ground. Considering that their first sparring session was deep within the sandy dunes of a heat-filled desert, Polarus only thought it fitting for them to train in an area of which he considered close to the conditions of his own home. And, indeed, the comfortable feeling emperor felt right at home within the wintery madness of the North Pole. He never realized that this planet could harbor conditions so akin to what he was used to-! The negative degree temperatures, the frozen ice landscape around them, and the constant flurries of snowflake fury only helping to bolster the Arcosian's resolve to see this through. Not that he needed much of it anyways, again, for him, this was just another day at home. For Whisker, however, the noble did feel slight concern for. He knew that this was in great opposition to his home of Konats, and so he wondered if his body would be incapable of adapting to such a contrasting climate. Thankfully, though, after the first hour or so within the depths of the northern part of Earth, wherein Whisker remained stable and resilient, his doubts nearly all were swept away. He was continuously impressed by his protege, and he always seemed to prove that it was one of his better decisions to train him and his potential.
Eyes remaining completely open, his eyelids accustomed to having continuous blizzards blinding his vision, Polarus dusted some of the snow off of the shoulders of his bio-armor with a bit of a bored sigh- looking down at Whisker as he began to question just how much longer this storm would continue on for. Looking high up into the sky as if to try and gauge the strength of the winds and storm before them, he shrugged, saying, "I apologize, little one, however, meteorology was never one of my stronger suits. What I can tell you is that something tells me that we should be closing in on something of interest soon enough..."
And indeed, something of interest did happen upon their path just after his declaration- with something that looked akin to that of a castle made of ice now being able to be seen from within the depths of the snowstorm before them. His eyes narrowed, Polarus attempting to confirm exactly what his gaze was showing him before deciding that this was an area to be careful treading within. Someone doesn't go out of their way to build such an installation within the more violatile areas of Earth's landscapes unless they were either incredibly strong or incredibly foolish. And judging from the worksmanship done on the ice castle of sorts, the royal was willing to bet that whoever or whatever brought upon such a structure is of the former, not the latter.
So, feeling a bit more protective of Whisker than usual, and seeing as he had the size to be able to do such a thing (true form was beginning to become one of his more favored forms), Polarus picked up the bundle of joy from his place within the snow and gently placed him snugly within his bio-armor- positioned so that he was directly in front of Polarus' own face, just slightly lower since he was quite smaller. Petting and scratching at his scruff, Whisker's mentor said, "If my research and instinctive thinking tell me anything, it's that no, whatever this installation is, is not supposed to be there. However, seeing as though it is still quite a ways away from us, and all of those furs and coats you have on are greatly impeding your mobility, I think I'll help cut our time in half and just carry you the rest of the way there."
Plus, if anything ever did happen to Whisker from either the cold or whatever this ice castle had in store from them, Zriracha would not be pleased.
Once safely secured within the spot in his bio-armor, Polarus immediately began to quicken his pace- closing the distance between the castle and them in mere minutes, the storm around them beginning to slowly deteriorate as they made their approah.
Several things caught the Arcosian by surprise. One, Lao for whatever reason happened to be here as well-! Although it didn't exactly surprise him too much, training within the depths of the Artic regions were something he expected crazy enough for the human to do. But in those some rags as he always saw him in? Really? He hoped he didn't get, what was it called, hypothermia? From his lengthened exposure to the coldest elements the planet had to offer.
The other thing that had caught his attention was the person Lao just so happened to be talking to. It was another Arcosian- and of the female variety, no doubt. While he wasn't foreign to the idea of others of his kin being present on this planet (Freige was a person he had the pleasure of making himself acquainted with) seeing a female Arcosian was indeed a rare sight to behold. Since this was the first one he's ever seen outside of his own home-world. Deciding that this polar vortex would need to be cleared out if they were all to have a civilized conversation, Polarus let out a powerful bellow of force- his red, magma like aura exploding around him as the Kiai exerted from his strength managed to cancel out the powerful winds swarming around them, the cloudy shroud that had overtaken their immediate area now being brightened up by the now unshrouded sun, a gentle drizzle of snow taking the place of the formerly violent hailing of sleet down onto them as Polarus made his way forward, positioning himself just behind Lao.
Taking out Whisker from within his bio armor, patting him on the head once more as he did, and setting him down on the ground next to him, Polarus began to speak, saying, "Seeing as you've been keeping my friend Lao here company, I assume you're one who prefers a civilized conversation over just another conflict ending in fisticuffs? My name is Polarus Wintergreen, and this here is my protege and little one of my care Whisker. Lao, you haven't met Whisker before I don't think, so here you go as well. He may look adorable, but make no mistake, his combat power is that of a refined warrior, and he has made me very proud to call myself his mentor."
Looking now directly upward at Aurora, he crossed his arms, asking, "If I may ask, who might you be then? And why build such a structure out here, besides the callbacks to our race's homeworld?"

As he considered the question put to him by the icy arcosian, Lao was surprised by the arrival of a familiar energy signature. "Huh... right over there, I guess." Lao would then point in the direction of the approaching Polarus as evidence. "I wonder what he's doing out here... feels like he's got somebody with him." Lao would put his hands into the pockets of his raggedy gi pants and turn to the horizon, awaiting the arrival of Polarus and his mysterious guest. What business his friend had here at the north pole was anybody's guess, and Lao felt it was a strange coincidence that he'd appear just as they were talking about him. Maybe this is fate? he considered privately. He had no idea who this lady arcosian was or what she was doing all the way up here in the loneliest place on the planet, but he suddenly got the feeling that it was important that he came here.
"Heyyy, Polarus!" Lao would shout as soon as his large friend got into shouting distance, waving his arms back and forth as if signalling for a landing aircraft. "Over here!" As Polarus landed, Lao was honestly a little bit stunned to see him carrying a small, furry creature around. He only managed to stare in confusion as his friend approached and banished the lingering inclement weather with a shout. "Your student, huh? Pleased ta meetcha, Whisker!" Lao squatted down to get close enough to offer Whisker a handshake nearly face-to-face, and assuming the diminutive konatsian kitty accepted his handshake, he would stand back up to his full height and position himself next to Polarus, following along in their conversation.

Aurora's head would snap in the direction that Lao points, ruby red eyes narrowing as she peered into the bleak distance. Of course, she made note of the human's seeming ability to sense Ki, something she herself had yet to master, or really even bother learn. While it no doubt would be a useful ability, Aurora simply didn't see the appeal. Her scouter annoyed her frequently enough when she was meditating thanks to the amazingly high concentration of powerful fighters on earth, so she didn't much fancy the idea of having to deal with a constantly on and un mutable version that shared space within her mind. That being said, her hand comes up to activate the device over her eyes as she peers in the direction of a figure that was rapidly approaching. The machine quickly came to life, zooming in on the image in front of her and displaying a... rather tall member of her kind, alongside his suppressed power level. Weaker than her, yet still quite strong compared to even members of their own race. Aurora's tail swished out of... excitement? Eagerness? Whatever it was, it sent shattered ice careening through the air to collide with the ice of the expanse.
There also seemed to be some sort of error with the scouter. There was... a second signature, popping in and out of view. Larger than the Arcosian's, Polarus', and yet still somehow being obscured by the smaller number. What was... Her brow furrows in concentration and she closes an eye, focusing upon the image the scouter was displaying. What was going o- There! An irregularity within the skin of the other Arcosian, just below the head. It... it was... another head? Not only that, but Aurora was almost certain that the tiny being held within the confines of this Polarus' bio armour was little more than an average house cat. Or, she would be, if not for the sheer level of power it possessed. Opening her eyes, her furrowed brow and concentrated look instead changed to that of bafflement and slight amazement as she looks towards Lao. "You... have some interesting fellows, I must admit." She says to the human, staying seated in her throne as the pair approached her. Aurora watched in silence as Polarus and his furry companion closed the distance, and before the Arcosian could say anything, the larger one let out a rather unbecoming roar, and a pulse of ki!
Red ki met the ice swirling around him, and instead of being instantly blasted away, purple light enveloped the four beings for a moment as Aurora's own passive blizzard fought back against the pulse of force. The sight reminded Aurora of her battle with the Saiyan Scallio, who had a similar Ki colour. With a wave of her hand, Aurora's blizzard gave way beneath the onslaught and allowed a small drizzle of snow instead of a whirlwind of ice, the sun shining through upon them all. She wasn't exactly fond of seeing the sun after a while simply spent in comforting cold and darkness, but Aurora didn't much mind the pesky star as there was something far more worthwhile going on. Sitting there in silence, Aurora didn't need to wait long before Polarus began to speak, although his words had the Arcosian raising a brow of hers. Jumping straight into conversation, rather than first introducing oneself? "...Greetings, Polarus Wintergreen. My name is Aurora, of the common clan Arctos, native of Arcose. Tell me, from where do you hail?" The arcosian begins, looking down at the newcomers. "And... hello, Whisker." A rather on the nose name for a cat, but she supposed she wasn't one to judge. A small wave was given towards the tiny being.
"I built that structure..." Aurora starts in response to Polarus' question, glancing towards the castle behind them. "As a new residence. My old one is no longer available and while, judging by the difference between our accents, you may not have been to Arcose, i'm sure you would agree that this particular continent is more suited towards our... racial tastes." Aurora's focus was entirely upon the Arcosian before her, the first she had seen in months, as evidenced by the excited swishing of her thick tail.

Whisker's PL: 48,000
Whisker smiled as the two strangers introduced themselves. Apparently, Polarus was familiar with the human looking one. The fact that he was here in the first place was strange to the cat, but then again, Whisker was also here for one reason or another! Training had become a regular thing in his life, and the more people he could learn from, the better! "Hello Mr. Lao!" Whisker waved at the scruffy looking human as his tail flicked idly. Polarus sure was popular! "Whooooah, another Arcosian! This is the..." Whisker paused, looking at Aurora and Polarus while counting on his fingers. Polarus... Freige... Aurora...Flurry... just enough for one hand! "Fourth one I've met since coming to Earth! Nice t'meet ya Miss Rora!" Whisker walked around this small portion of the castle, looking around in amazement as the crystalline structure of it reminded him of a show he once heard about involving some alien who lived in a frozen palace. "This place is pretty cool! How did you make it?" Whisker had always wanted a home of his own. Ever since he was a child, he had shared every space he ever lived in with other children, from the Dojo he was raised in to the orphanage back at his village. The only family he had ever had was his Master, though it could be argued his friends here on Earth were like family to him. Whisker fixed his cape by bringing it out of his coat and let it flap freely down his back. This cape had countless stitch marks on it from where it had been repaired time and time again, and yet each one looked as careful and precise as the cape's natural stitching. The only parts the stitching avoided were around the crest, where seemingly no damage at all had taken place. Below the crest was a crudely sewn-in name in tiny black letters. Tini

Although Aurora was of new nature, and hailing of the very same race that he was, and his astute student was also there for him to tend to, Polarus was interested specifically in the reactions of his good friend Lao at the present moment. Not because he was of more inherent importance than the other two, but because he's barely gotten in any time to actually be within his company these days. Their original agreement had been that Polarus and Lao would travel the entirety of the Earth to assist the Arcosian on his quest for vengeance against the Saiyan Kingdom- however, after coming into contact with so many other people the likes of which he never would have expected to come across in his first impressions of the planet (IE; mainly Zriracha and Whisker) the Frost Demon warlord soon found his schedule becoming more and more swamped by the day. It wasn't necessarily a negative that he was coming into contact with this amount of new faces, but, it definitely did leave little time for his very first conventional friend and he to actually hang around each-other. So, he was quite interested as to how he would react to him and his small furry package's arrival.
And, in all honesty, he was not disappointed-! Polarus was glad that despite the man didn't even have the decency to bathe himself correctly that he at least still retained the mannerisms of a proper human being. He found his attempt at a handshake with his surrogate son quite endearing as well, and knew that he and Whisker would get along just fine.
Clasping a strong hand on Lao's shoulder, he shook him a bit in a friendly manner, saying in a haughty tone, "It is indeed a pleasure to lay eyes upon you once more, Lao- it is also good to see you haven't changed one bit. How has your journey been coming along? I hope without too many hitches amongst the path?"
Now, it was time to address the very apparent elephant in the room- that being of course Aurora and the fact that she would be, for himself, the second the Arcosian that he had laid eyes on ever since he had arrived on Earth. The first being that of Freige, and that encounter had long since past. But before he was even able to attempt at replying to Aurora's stated inquiry and introduction, something that his fuzzy little companion of his mentioned caught his full attention.
"Really, Whisker-? This marks your fourth whole Arcosian that you've encountered within your time on Earth?" Polarus spoke curiously as he attempted to rack his brain for exactly who the fourth could be. One was of course himself, the second presumably being Freige, what with him appearing within the island village home of Whisker's all that time ago, and now the third- no, fourth, now being Aurora Arctos in front of them. Who in the world was this third Arcosian that he hadn't met himself yet? Petting Whisker gently, he asked in an incredulous voice, snorting a bit at his incredibly adorable pronunciation of Aurora, "If you do not at all mind me asking, Whisker- who was the third then that you've come across within your travels? I assume that I was the first, with Freige being a very close second- and then Aurora here marks the fourth, but who exactly is the third?"
And as he waited for Whisker to answer his question, Polarus returned his attention back toward the Arctos clanswoman before him, taking note of her excited demeanor (He had a tail too, he knew good and hell well the many mannerisms that came with such a body part) as well as her inherently cunning nature as he replied in his per usual regal tone, "You would be correct- I do not hail from the Arcosian homeworld Arcose. My family had conquered an old territory within the fallen properties of the World Trade Fleet, territory of which I have now come to rule myself presently. And you would also be correct in comparing this bit of land here to our own home-planet, it shares many a characteristic with the motherland, and I do not at all fault you for then choosing such an area to make lodgings in."
"It is interesting, to see another one of my own race here on this planet- but, as this world has never ceased to show me, it is that you must expect the unexpected. Why did you happen upon visiting Earth then, if I may ask?"

Lao casually dismissed Polarus' question with a wave of his hand. "Hitches? Me? Naw... I mean, I did get kinda lost in the north pole, but I assure you it was all part of my training. Yes... training..." That question neatly brushed off, Lao proceeded to idly scratch at his face, trying to pick the icicles out of his beard as he watched the two arcosians converse. He was a little surprised when Whisker mentioned meeting four Arcosians, and Polarus mentioned one Lao hadn't met as well- somebody named "Freige." Just how many of them were there on Earth? Lao supposed the number had to be pretty low, given that he'd never seen or heard of an arcosian before he met Polarus. Then again, Lao hadn't exactly been very social following his self-imposed exile to the forest. I wonder if they're all as tough as these two? ...Or even tougher? Lao was intrigued by the prospect. Perhaps he'd have to seek out more of Polarus' fellows in the future.
In the meantime, though, Lao tuned back in to the ongoing conversation and attempted to piece together the parts he hadn't been paying attention to. As Polarus asked what Aurora was doing on Earth, Lao decided to interject. "Actually, I'd like to know that too... more specifically, why are you building a big ice castle at the north pole? I mean, it's a cool castle and all, but... don't you get lonely out here?" Lao wasn't really sure how to politely articulate the real purpose of his question. He understood the desire for solitude, being practically a hermit like he was, but the north pole was a whole other level of remote. It's almost like she was hiding out, or something. Lao tried not to think about it too much, it was rude to make assumptions about people. Hopefully answers would come from Aurora herself.

Aurora watched as the cat like creature talked, leaving its... his shelter within Polarus' bio armour to trot around the snow, only mildly alarmed by the fact that there were apparently even more Arcosians on this planet than she had just thought there to be. Four. Four. How could Aurora have missed them? Her people stuck out like sore thumbs, even amongst the more reptilian members of the earthling population, but Aurora had somehow managed to miss not one, not two, but three others of her kind? The thought of it was... rather shocking for the woman, that her information could not be anywhere near as good as she initially thought it might be. It meant a variety of things would need to be done after this particular encounter was over. Perhaps meeting with some less... scrupulous peoples, to shore up whatever she was lacking that allowed her to completely miss the presence of four beings on the planet that no doubt had more power in one of their fingers than an entire city combined. It made her wonder about what else she could be missing... While none of these beings seemed close to her in strength, that didn't mean stronger couldn't get through the obvious cracks.
Shaken from her thoughts by the cat like alien, Whisker apparently, as he posed a question towards Aurora whilst analysing a portion of her dwelling. "How I made it?" She repeats, eyebrows raising in surprise. Not many asked the how when it came to her dwelling. Often times it was really just... why, as annoying as the question was beginning to come with how frequently it was asked. "Well... Perhaps a demonstration would suit better than words could." Twisting her hand to face palm upward, Aurora raising it slightly and taps into her power. All around them the ice began to shake and rumble as in the distance the white was broken by jagged and twisted deep blue, a pillar of her magical ice piercing through the surface and pushing up towards the sky, only stopping once it matched the height of her castle. Certainly far easier to manage than the variety of more complex structures required to make the castle. "The simple answer is magic." She adds on, gesturing towards the pillar, even as her Aura began to close in on the others once again, howling and twisting.
Her attention moves on to the most interesting person there. The other Arcosian. Polarus. It wasn't a name she recognised, but that wasn't really something that leaned one way or the other, given her rather common education. It seemed he was also confused by the mention of other Arcosians as he stops having a conversation with the scruffy human Lao and also questions the animalistic alien on the matter. That... actually helped Aurora feel a little better as she leaned back into her seat, not realising she had even shuffled forward in the first place. Perhaps these others were simply hiding like she was, or laying low. After all, it seemed they were as surprised to see her here as she was them, which meant Aurora had been doing a good job of ensuring that she was hidden from public eye. That was... comforting. Or at least reassured her that she was doing something right. Ruby red eyes stayed focused upon the male of her species as he turned to face her and spoke. The regal tone spoke of a higher birth, but she was aware of all the native Arcosian clans upon their home planet. Wintergreen wasn't one of them. His next words confirmed as such.
"Ah, a foreign noble then." She replies, wracking her mind for what she had been taught about them. It... wasn't exactly a flattering amount of information, nor was the inflection. She was sure that Polarus would not take kindly towards being viewed as little more than a war lusting savage with absolutely no refinement and muscles for brains, as those who took their own land during the days of the world trade fleet were viewed by the... elder nobility upon Arcose. Coincidentally said nobility were also in charge of dictating the material Arcosian youths upon the planet were supposed to learn. It really was hard to move past what she had initially been taught, despite acknowledging it as incorrect. "Well, I welcome you to my abode." A hand spread wide, gesturing towards the vast expanse around them. "You'll find it rather empty, aside from myself. Which is, admittedly, exactly what I was aiming to achieve. I trust you will find it comforting? Although... I feel I should ask you why you are here." Their kind weren't exactly pack animals. Or, well, not to the same degree as most mammals. Reptiles stuck together out of necessity, not compassion. It was a rare thing indeed for an Arcosian to develop lasting affections for anything outside of the family unit.
Still focusing the majority of her attention upon Polarus, Aurora's eyes slide momentarily over towards Lao as the... quite possibly homeless man addressed her. "As I said, I am out here for the express purpose of being isolated. The company of Earthlings does not appeal to me, and constant potential distraction harm my efforts to train more than they help me gain experiences." The last time she had moved to investigate something nearby, it had ended with multiple deaths and a mountain blow half to pieces by a vengeful and completely incorrect Saiyan. "But..." She starts, returning her eyes back to Polarus. "To answer both of your questions, i reside here upon this planet because I am..." Was it particularly wise, to state why she was here? Then again, it wasn't as if a determined member of the Kingdom couldn't find her by simply following her mental or magical signature. "...Not welcome by the Saiyan Kingdom, which presides over the majority of known space after its defeat of the World Trade Fleet. Earth is one of the very few places they won't tread out of fear of repercussion, and here I have allies which ensure my safety." A few faces flash through her mind, of people who may be... closer than merely allies, before they are dispelled with a shake of her head.
