Waking up oddly early, Dion was strangely quite excited to come into work today. There was little to no real cause of it, it was just one of those days that just felt like it was going to be a good day. It was a couple days after the whole mountains incident, and perhaps that in it of itself had to do with his bettered mood for the day ahead. Morale had been a bit low ever since the conflict, but as Dion helped those around him to try and regain what part of themselves they had left back on those mountaintops, everyone's moods began to grow to better levels once more. And so, the stress upon Dion both mentally and physically began to lighten a bit. He himself still had some things to work through, but, that could wait for later and better times. Besides, if he started to break down in the face of pressure, then what kind of example would he be setting for the rest of his friends that looked to him for comfort and strength? Carro and Suri came to mind, and those two definitely needed some support right now, seeing as they were the two (besides Aurora, he hasn't seen her yet though) who were hit the hardest by the events taken place.
Shaking off his mental, emotional, and physical assessment, the bartender soon enough began his daily morning routine, making his bed within his apartment and going on to take a shower, eat some breakfast, and then dress himself into his bartending clothes- soon enough making it out of his apartment building and blasting off toward his Diono's located within Satan City. As for why specifically the one in Satan City, well, Pepper came to mind- and indirectly influenced his decision to go to Satan City's resident Diono's.
As he eventually touched down on one of Satan City's many sidewalks, Dion quickly checked his wristwatch to see how early he had chosen to get going. It was around seven in the morning, and the bartenders face flushed red slightly. God, he was acting like a newbie- since only a new guy (or gal) would ever have this much excitement opening up shop first. He felt slightly nostalgic from his actions, as it reminded him of himself when he first started his first Diono's location and always opened up shop bright and early. Fond, fond memories.
Finally, upon reaching his destination, Dion unlocked the double doors to his establishment with a quickened flourish of the keys, walking through the entrance and taking a deep breath of the homely air of his workplace. The scent of oakwood flooring and many a beer drank greeting his nostrils as he continued further inside, closing the doors behind him and flipping up the open sign on the outside window. Of course, he didn't expect many to be coming to a bar this early in the day, but, you never knew when someone needed a drink and some talk.
Eventually, Dion simply found himself behind the bar counter after setting everything up- ready to wait for what he assumed was quite a while for his first patron. Again, it was early morning- who in the hell comes to drink at a bar at around seven thirty in the morning?
