Russé PL: 65,250 Suppressed to PL: 5
North City...the second-largest city and one of the only areas to harbor cold temperatures and chilling winter seasons, many consider it a sister to Central City and some might even confuse the two by their appearance if it weren't for proper labels. Russé is dragging his feet on the sidewalk stretching in parallel with the main street walking straight ahead in search of a clothing store, ignoring passing civilians who are puzzled by his "unnatural" appearance from some of them, haven't they seen a man with blue hair before? indifferent-looking eyes are looking at nothing in particular, occasionally they would look around for the location he's seeking, which is a bit harder to find as he is not quite as familiar with this part of town, unlike West City. Russé recalled a reason why he did he come here in the first place, the male wanted to get himself a brand new coat to endure the cold temperatures, he could've gotten one from a local store at his hometown but they don't always sell the best looking coats in the market. A particular building garnered interest from Russe, they writing for the title of the store is a little stage but it's coherent enough for anyone to process' "Bao's Wardrobe" green eyes decrypted the name before entering the store through the entrance. Moments later Russé exited the complex sporting a thick coat of his favorite color, no longer have to worry about getting the shivers anytime soon. There was something else he wanted to do today and it crossed his mind from his recent interactions with Aurora at the hospital. "I wonder how Aurora is doing.. losing her home from that battle must be awful.." staring slightly at the ground and speaking to no one. Flashbacks of Mt Frappe being partly destroyed by a mysterious power is bound to have repercussions on her psyche, he can only imagine the struggles of living life without a home. He should talk to her... "hmmm, how to contact her."Russé didn't have a way to contact the arcosion, she didn't have a smartphone on her from what he can remember, its possible she may have a scouter, but he doesn't own such a device...Damn! Index finger and a thumb grabbed the tail end of his chin to think, can she sense his energy signature? If she can he could raise his energy high enough for her to find his location, only one way to find out. The hybrid spread arms and legs apart in formation, oxygen inhaled in the throat and exhaled from the windpipe, hands balled into fists, begs crouched at the knees "HaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" a powerful scream echoed through town, a Ki aura swallowed the saiyan whole, gradually becoming uncontrollable. If Aurora is wearing her scouter, she would noticed a number rising rapidly on the head's up display.

Aurora looked up from where she stood still in her ship as it hovered in the mountains nearby to North City, the Arcosian having been prepping the ship for travel and an extended stay within the planet's north pole. After her day out with Suri, Aurora had resulted in at least a basic home that she could live within. Granted it wasn't even remotely close to any sort of settlement, but she liked it like that. Certainly far less visitors in the north pole than there would have been by Mt. Frappe. At least, she had been doing that until her scouter pinged her about the presence of a registered power signature flaring dramtically. Glancing towards the device, a sigh leaves her before she moves over to where it lay on a bench, picking it up and slipping it on. Quickly isolating the way it was coming from, her brow lifts in surprise at it being Russe's signature. How odd, she didn't expect him to be the sort of get into fights that often, especially not so soon after the battle at the mountain. then again, she wasn't registering another nearby signature of any significant strength, so perhaps they were weak or he was simply alone? Either way, it warranted the Arcosian's attention.
Opening the ship's door to be greeted by the thin, howling air of Earth's upper atmosphere. Making sure it would close after her, Aurora steps on to the edge, peering down at the world below her. The wind roared and whipped within her ears, yet she was unaffected by it as she stood there. Then, with a step, she dropped. Her purple form sailed through the air, whipping and spinning around as she simply let herself fall. A small part of her wondered if she could survive such a drop, but that wasn't what was most important right now. Just as her ship shrank to a mere pinprick in the sky, she actives her Ki, bursting through the air like a missile towards Russe with an audible boom as the sound barrier breaks. Bee lining for north city, a part of her wondered if she should have worn the disguise she usually wore for outings such as this one, but it was a little too late for such decisions now, and if he was in battle with something that couldn't be sensed, it was more important for her to arrive swiftly rather than inconspicuously.
Rocketing through the sky Aurora quickly closes in upon Russe's position, although she makes sure to slow down upon entering the city's bounds so as not to shatter the nearby glass windows. Making her way above the citizens at a blur, she noted that none of them seemed to be fleeing and that there were no explosions going off, so that bode well. Slowing down even further, she follows the cursor of the scouter through the city until finally coming across the half Saiyan... screaming his lungs out at nothing, to odd looks from the populace around him. "...Russe, is something the matter?" She asks through the yelling, settling down in the street and trying to ignore the looks that were now being sent her way. Arcosians weren't popular upon earth, and there was a reason she tended to leave settlements alone unless the situation demanded it or she needed to meet someone typically unwilling to leave said settlements. Looking at him now, the half saiyan was entirely unscathed, and confusion ruled within the arcosian's mind. "Why are you flaring your aura in such a manner? I presumed you were under attack. Is everything alright?" She asks slowly, glancing around.

Russé's screaming voice continued with no signs of straining, an ordinary earthling with excellent lung capacity wouldn't even last over ten minutes. People around him stopped what they are doing and locked their eyes at the source of the noise, some civilians gathered around while keeping their distance, others are taking snapshots of this blue weirdo yelling at the heavens and raising his energy signature to max power. Aside from select ki-users among the pedestrians, most of them are understandably confused about why this man is destroying everybody's eardrums, unaware he is signaling an ally to come to his location.
Russé's neck hair tingled, sensing an energy signature descending from the sky, belonging to a familiar arcosian approaching the city representing the great north. Looks like constant screaming and powering up has paid off, at the cost of his dignity, most likely he has made a fool of himself in public, those weird faces he's received from everyone is a sign he'll never do this again.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...." the screaming gradually fading as Aurora speaks to him, finally realizing he's brought attention to himself, the young adult looked around and flashed an embarrassing grin. "Oh.." rubbing back of head sheepishly. Putting a hand on the mouth quickly to clear throat from the excess yelling, "Ahem" "uhh, yeah! Everything's cool, I wasn't under attack if that's what you're worried about, I called you here because I wanted to check up on you, heard you are looking for a new home after Mt Frappe got wrecked and I wanted to see if I can help somehow, how's your heart thingamajig?" a quick glance is thrown over her damaged bio-gem, resting a knuckle on the hip.

Aurora's brow raised as the half saiyan's screaming stopped and he explained his reasoning for wishing to call her out. So it wasn't any sort of attack, merely just an attempt to grab her attention? "You do realise there are a variety of... far quieter, far more subtle ways to contact me?" She questions, tilting her head at him as her permanent frown evolves into something closer to a disapproving scowl. She didn't like appearing in civilisation if she could help it, not least because her kind often weren't viewed favourably by the denizens of Earth, for some... rather reasonable reasons. Still, she was beginning to feel uncharacteristically self conscious about the points and stares she was receiving by the passing populace, red eyes darting about to take them all in. A small sigh leaves her as she continues to hover, not exactly willing to set down. "In any case, to answer your question, yes. I have found a new base for me to dwell in, far up in the north pole. And yes, my heart bio gem is... well. It's far from fine, but I have something of an idea of how to fix that. I just need time to figure some things out."
She pauses somewhat at that to hear his reply, before a thought strikes her. "Actually." She begins, tilting her head as she analyses the man. He would certainly be strong enough, she knew that much. "I have been having some... trouble with crafting my new home. I am making it out of ice, you see, and without Suri available my strctures tend to be somewhat brittle compared to when crafted with her. If you truly wish to offer me aid, I suppose I could do with some help." Aurora wasn't entirely sure how he could help, but she did have an idea. As experienced in her magic as she was, Aurora still had trouble multitasking at the same time, each movement in her Absolute Zero attack having been meticulously trained over and over before she had been able to do so. Because of that, she was typically unable to utilise her strength when it came to placing or holding certain parts of her new domain, which was a defining reason as to why he west wing kept collapsing and causing her so much grief. "If you wish to help, I can guide you there. Although... I do recommend you take a jacket. My magic can only go so far."

The arocosian's suggestion took away the concept of speech from the half-saiyan, rendering him mute as he was unable to deliver a believable excuse. Aurora has a point, there are a lot of ways the young adult could've contacted the arcosian without screaming his head off to the heavens. "Heh Heh Heh Heh, I didn't have a scouter nor do I have your phone number, I had to improvise.." awkwardly pressing index fingers unto each other and eyes glancing down, was that a good enough of a justification? He wasn't quite sure, logically it was a weak explanation, he could've just flared his energy without the excess noise, boy did he feel like a doofus.
Good news to come out of this is learning from Aurora she's found a new base to settle in the north pole, her bio gem is still in need of repair and Russé is concerned about the potential strain on her heart doing physical activities. "Oh you did? Awesome! I figured you prefered the winter conditions up north, judging from your ice abilities" it wasn't difficult to put two and two together, people with cryokinesis are always going to live where their powers can shine, at least that's how the media interpreted.
"What's your idea of fixing it? and why are you trying to fix it now? You heard what that robot dude said, doing strenuous activities will irritate your bio gem, it needs time to heal, trying to fix it could make it worse" a tone of worry filtered his voice, her heart attack at the mountain remained fresh in his mind, the last thing he wanted to happen is Aurora suffering more heart problems over being stubborn, worst-case scenario her death.
Regarding Aurora's home, it turns out she has crafted it from the ground up and Suri is providing aid in constructing it, without her available assistance, the mass isn't quite sturdy compared to the ladies building together. "A home made of ice...Oh my god, are you making the Fortress of Isolation!?" tapping into a nerdy side of his personality the half-saiyan flashed a wide grin, eager to check out her place under construction. "Already got it covered, I just bought this coat from the store behind me, what do you need help with exactly?" wondering how could he provide aid, without any ice powers of his own, there HAS to be something he can do.

Aurora's unamused stare could have stopped a charging bull, as she looked towards Russe whilst the half saiyan tapped his fingers together out of embarrassment. Eventually a sigh comes from her, and a hand comes up to pinch at her brow. "Leaving aside the fact that you know a multitude of my other compatriots, remind me to give you my scouter's digits after this." She tells him with another sigh. Yet the Arcosian found it hard to stay mad at the Saiyan, as the only thing lost to the blue haired man's antics was his own pride and dignity. Although, she would most likely need to ensure none of those videos taken of him screaming at nothing made it very far on the internet. It was a good thing that earthling technology was often very... quaint when outside of their leading corporations. Slowly, she lifted into the air as their conversation continued, waiting for Russe to follow her lead as she aimed to leave the bounds of the city. Being seen by so many earthlings wasn't exactly a good thing for her, and while Aurora understood that he kind had frequently been viewed as the enemy... that didn't make it any better.
"And yes, I... do have an affinity for such a place." Was Aurora's only response to Russe's comment upon the conditions of the land surrounding her new habitat. Earth's north pole was possibly the closest she could get to a simulation of Arcose upon the planet, albeit with far less natural dangers or signs of civilisation. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only thing Russe had to say, and Aurora found herself freezing in the air for the barets moment as he asked her about how she planned to fix her heart. While the Arcosian had no doubts about the half saiyan's intentions (he seemed far too... pure, for her to suspect him of having any ulterior motives), it was admittedly embarrassing to say her reasoning out loud. "I..." She starts, mulling over her words. "While I don't have all the details yet, I know that the answer lies upon my home world of Arcose. The sort of issue I have is something only really seen in fairy tales, and in them the hero always manages to fix it through some form of magic. While those records are... unbelievably ancient, i'm almost certain that the royal library has more accurate recordings. And... what is that earthling saying? Where there's smoke, there's fire?"
"As for why i'm trying to fix it now, well, that's because the robot was incorrect about one thing. My bio gem isn't going to heal naturally. It will only decline and grow worse. It's not physically capable of healing now that I have fully developed physically." Just saying that brought a grimace to her face, but Aurora tried her best to move past that particular detail. If she were younger, she knew she wouldn't have survived Typha's blow. "I..." She starts in response to the rather odd question. "I suppose so? The intention is to be isolated so I can focus upon my training, although... That sounds like a name. Am I missing something here?" The air slowly began to get cooler as they went further an further north, the Arcosian making sure to slow down for her... only slightly weaker friend. Obviously Russe was making quick progress, which was both... well. She was happy for him, but it only reminded Aurora of the ever increasing gap between her and her targets. "As for what I need help with... Well. I can't be everywhere, so I need you and your strength to act as a support, alongside opinions on design."

"That would be nice" the hybrid appreciated her generosity, relieved his terrible excuse worked out for him, now to buy a counter. The half-saiyan saw her took off in the air, urging him to come along, Russé engulfed himself in a white aura and levitated off the ground then followed her further north, a persistent gust of wind blowing his face, keeping a moderate pace of speed right behind Aurora.
Continuing the conversation, his friendly acquaintance confirmed his assumption on her preference of living environment, prompting a nod from Russé "I thought so" his voice dropped its awkwardness replaced with something casual. The scaly entities answer regarding her bio-gem is intriguing, it may not have been the answer he is looking for, as she doesn't know herself, the clues lie within across and magic is the key to repairing her vital organ. Her explanation for her quest to fix her gem has merit, Russe found it strange it hasn't healed by now after checking out of the hospital, he guessed arcosions don't heal the same way as earthlings do.
"So that's the reason you're going there, If I wasn't exposed to giant apes, people turning their hair golden, shapeshifters, people shooting acid, and ice controlled by arcosians, I would've believed magic doesn't exist" Russé has seen too many weird stuff in his lifetime to deny its legitimacy. "Remember, Kayen won't be too happy if you get caught, I'd advice against going there and consider using crop-corporation technology instead, but I can't stop you if you're going through with this." having a feeling her personality may be too stubborn to change her mind. Her strength exceeded his own, cementing that brute force won't be enough to sway her decision.
Aurora's unfamiliarity of the name of the cold palace forced a chuckle out of the hybrid "Have you read a comic book? The Fortress of Isolation is a stronghold made of ice and crystals, it belongs to The Great Saiyanman, a superhero who was sent to Earth by his parents when he was baby, their home planet Crypto exploded from an invasion by aliens" tapping into the dorky side of his personality, giving Aurora a run-down on the hero's origin.
Russe's eyes shifted upwards to think, realizing Aurora could get into legal trouble if she uses the name. "Hmmm on second thought, the name is copyrighted, better call it something else.." he concluded.
The arcosian wanted to use the male saiyan's strength and give her opinions on the design of her home, that's definitely something he can do without any magical abilities that aren't his forte, happy to oblige "You got it! Have you thought about the size of your new home? How big is it?" flying next to Aurora.

"Technically, the Saiyan transformation isn't actually magical in nature." Aurora responds almost idly to Russe as they two fly, undettered by the buffeting wind, a far cry from the struggles she used to have with it back when she wasn't as strong. "Due to it requiring the presence of blutz waves, such a transformation is closer to mutation than it is to magic, wherein your people's DNA seems to somehow undergo a colossal and temporary restructuring that-" She stops herself, glancing back towards the blue haired half saiyan. "Ah, my apologies. I did not mean to go on like that, and I suppose that and the end of the day... In the lives we live, the difference between the two is negligible." She murmurs, mouth forming a stern line as the ground beneath them began to slowly fade from stark and barren grey mountains to stark and barren white plains of the colossal ice sheets that made up her home continent. She would then tilt her head, staying silent as she mulls over the last part of his words, a sigh eventually leaving her as she realised that if she was going to have a positive relationship with russe, she wouldn't be able to lie to him over something like that.
"I am aware of Kayen's dictation, yes. However, this isn't something I can put off. I have... admittedly very little faith in the technology found upon Earth, and if I stay here I will eventually deteriorate to a point that death will be a certainty." She would look back towards Russe now, red eyes narrowed in focus even as they flew. "Do you understand? I am currently on a clock. If i can't fix myself in time, I will die. So my only option is to risk death even earlier. Of course, I'm not nearly so arrogant as to believe I could take them on, which is why I shall be attempting to do it as stealthily as I possibly can." Turning back, they continue to fly. Aurora... didn't much want to think of what would happen if she got caught and couldn't escape in the very small window of time afforded to her between the initial call going out and the saiyan reinforcements showing up. While she could, admittedly, take on an army of her own that didn't mean she had any inclination towards hurting her own people. Not to mention... after that would be a very painful time.
Fortunately the conversation seemed to have moved to a far lighter topic as the duo neared her current home. "Ah. I must admit I have not exactly delved into that aspect of earthling culture." She would reply. Of course Aurora had heard of comic books, but they seemed... unnecessary and frivolous at best. Not even an attempt at maintaining any sort of historical accuracy, and nothing more than modern fairy tales. "The great Saiyanman?" She would respond, raising an eyebrow. "One of your most popular heroes... isn't even a member of your own race?" That was a rather curious revelation, and perhaps displayed some insight into the mentality earthlings seemed to have towards being bailed out by aliens and strangers. "Would you not prefer to be able to rely upon what you know, and can reasonably accomplish yourself? Instead of having to rely upon a being born with naturally greater talents to bail you out?" She would ask as her home finally came into view. The titanic castle of ice, only half made, still towered from where it was nestled into an equally colossal iceberg. "I find that... rather odd, if I am honest."
"As for how big it is... well." Aurora gestures up at the towering castle of dark and light ice intermingled, making her way down to land just outside of it. Arctic wind howled all around her but she seemed to pay no mind as her bare toes dug into the frost and snow. "Are you sure you'll be okay with the cold?" She asks him, concerned. It wouldn't do for her to manage to get him sick upon inviting him to help her out, and she wasn't going to let that Saiyan stubbornness get in the way. If she saw a single shiver from Russe she was going to redirect the cold away from him. Bravado in such a climate could kill those that weren't naturally capable of dealing with it after all, and Aurora wasn't about to let an ally do that to themselves. Granted, the Mountain's Heart had been a much colder climate than here, so perhaps he may have naturally acclimated?

Aurora's scientific or smart explanation of oozaru transformations not being magical in origin piqued his interest enough to keep his mouth shut and listen. She explained the transformation resembles a mutation than its mystic counterpart, requiring blutz waves to activate it. It seems saiyan DNA for an unknown reason react to blutz waves specifically, a strange phenomenon he should look into someday. The arcosian realized she rambled on too much realizing what Russ meant is having seen weird things in general. "You sure know a lot about our race" stating the obvious as they continue their flight in conversation.
Russ's breath exhaled a sigh, that look in her eye tells him she is getting desperate in mending her vital organ, she's insane if she pulls this! But if she is running on borrowed time what choice does she have? "there's no talking you out of it, huh. If you're really serious about this then be careful, if you get another heart attack, there are no guarantees you will be alive next time, you are lucky that robot saved your life" reminded her if it wasn't for the president they wouldn't be having this conversation.
The hybrid nodded listening to his ally being curious about the choice of a different race for the hero. "Yeah, it is far more interesting to make the great saiyanman an alien from space than to make him one of us, allows for a creative backstory" believing making him a human or a saiyan would be boring for storytelling. She asked about his reliance on others bailing him out, questioning if he would rather rely on what he knows and not depend on a superior entity to bail him out. "Generally most people including myself would rather depend on our talents to solve a problem ourselves if it's possible, but sometimes there are situations our abilities cant overcome, we have to rely on someone else if they are better equipped to handle a task, I don't find it odd at all personally" people are capable of accomplishing a lot of things alone but two heads are better than one.
After a long flight a huge castle made from frozen water is within their line of sight, they finally reached their destination. Russé's eyes almost fell out of thier socket as he struggled to pick up his mouth. "Whoa! That is HUGE, you and Suri did this!? It must've took a lot of energy!" surely they would've had to spend hours on building this thing. "I'm fine, I have a jacket to keep me warm remember?" though he found the freezing temperature to be less potent than inside Mt Frappe, he was juiced up in adrenaline in the battle, he forgot to shiver in discomfort.
"First things first, how durable is the castle? It should be capable enough to hold itself together from a home invasion attack" looking at Aurora. Before thinking about the design of the interior he wanted to make sure it's a sturdy place to be a suitable home for his ally.

"Mm." She responds to his comment, frown deepening. "Well... When one lives the sort of life that frequently puts them at odds with the Saiyans, it is prudent to understand how they think. How they work. How they fight." She then realises the exact subtext of what she was saying, and looks over to him, blinking. "Of course, I don't mean you. Nor do I include Dion in that statement. I don't know where I would be now, if not for your assistance, so for that... I thank you." She nods at him, although notices his sigh as her plans. She understood that to some it may seem to be reckless, but there came a point when you needed to go further. Even now, she could feel the twinge of pain i her chest, a small spark coming from it at the very thought of the damage sustained there. "I do no plan upon undergoing any sort of rigorous activity during my time there, but on the off chance I do encounter someone capable of putting me down, I will simply flee." She 'assures' him. There were few beings out there that were now truly capable of defeating her with ease, which was something the Arcosian both liked and... loathed. Still so far to go.
"And yes, I plan on giving president Hofferson my gratitude before I leave." She nods. It wouldn't be prudent, after all, and should her actions be discovered it would be as if she were a petulant child. Aurora wasn't much fond of the possibility of angering one of the most powerful beings in the galaxy, after all. The arcosian then raises a brow at his reasons for why this 'Saiyanman' was more exciting for not being of the same race. "Curious. I, for one, would believe that many would connect better to a hero that they could relate to, rather than a mysterious saviour from another planet of dubious morality and laws." She debates. "One's power and life should come from their own will, and it's proven by the existence of ourselves that becoming such a powerful being is well within the constraints of regular citizens. There is no need for a hero if you yourself are more than competent enough to handle any given threats." She pauses for a moment. "Although, yes, I understand that it is a story, and that reaching this sort of life takes an almost single minded dedication."
Upon arrival she couldn't help but allow herself a little pride at his reaction to her dwelling. After all, she and Suri had put real effort in, so... it was right to be proud, correct? Although she did, of course, ensure to tempter such a reaction. It was a small reward for a small thing. No need to be unbecoming of oneself. "Yes, we did. it was through a combined effort of our magics." She nods, walking toward the large castle. A wave of her hand and the titanic doors opened with a groan, ice sliding across ice as whatever damage done was quickly repaired by her magic. "Hm?" She turns, tilting her head at his question. "Ah. Well. I assure you that what the material lacks in rigidity it makes up for in adaptability, as long as i am around." As if to prove her point the wall behind her began to ripple and shift, before rapidly forming a variety of colossal spikes angled in all directions. At a click of her fingers, however, they swiftly returned to normal. "Really, what i need your aid in is keeping certain portions together long enough for me to stabilise them." She hoped that didn't sound as if she was dismissive of his talents, but it was the truth. Physics seemed to... disagree with her vision.
"Your main tasks will be related to holding portions of my home together while I use my magic to ensure that it stays in place after you let go. Again, I apologise for recruiting you for this, but... well. I can pay you for each hour worked." She offers him, even though she felt rather sure he would turn down the payment. That seemed to be a recurring theme amongst people such as Russe. Not that she was complaining at all. The man had a good heart, and if the galaxy was filled with people like him, she doubted there would be any problems. It was just that sometimes he could be... illogical at moments. Driven by sentiment rather than fact. She supposed that was just another example of the differences between their people, so firm and set that it reached the genetic level.

Russ nodded with a smile, he didn't find it a big deal to help out someone else, its only natural to do so. Personally he isn't a big fan of the war between saiyans and arcosians but he knows there are genuine bad apples out there regardless of species. "Heh as long you aren't plotting against both of us, knowing your enemy is an effective strategy so no worries, a friend of Dion's is a friend of mine, we'll watch each other's back from now on" Having a feeling the trio will stick around each other for a while.
The arcosian then tried to smooth away his concern, telling him she will run away if she encounters someone she is incapable of handling on her own. "You better" mentally relying on the gods they will help her stand by her word. Is this what Morticia feels like when he puts himself in danger? In his case, he could come off as a hypocrite for encouraging someone to run away from a fight and he doesn't do that himself.
A name describing the robot piped his interest as he raised an eyebrow in skepticism, there is no way that robot is the president of earth, nothing about that machine resembles the orange-haired man, but why did she say that name? He may have to ask about it later. He half-expected her to debate his claim and pointed out heroes should be something people can relate to. "We do have several relatable heroes, some examples are Spinner-Man, an ordinary human science nerd bitten by a radioactive spider, granting him the abilities of the arachnid.
We have Devilman, he is an ordinary man who decided to dress up as a devil after he witnessed his parents gunned down in front of him in an ally at eight years old. Both heroes dedicated their lives to fighting crime after experiencing a tragedy in their lives" giving a very short summary of who they are.
"Unlike the great saiyaman, their stories focus on the struggles of living a normal life while they fulfill their duty as a superhero. Being able to shoulder all of that responsibility is a key reason why I find that relatable" It's one of the driving forces of joining the pride troopers. Her stance about not needing heroes due to being able to handle threats with their own powers does bring an interesting point.
A smile took form and eyes shifted at Aurora. "Well when you put it that way, our lifestyle is kinda like a comic book in a way, we have supernatural abilities and can do many of the things heroes can do in fiction, but we need heroes to inspire us to do the right thing, their actions set an example for all of us to get out there and help people" he concluded.
She may not see any value of customed vigilantes but he wouldn't forge a path of heroism if not for the superhero Blue Jay a man he looked up to since he was a child. "Don't you have anyone you look up to for inspiration?" he asked, curious about her what fuels her ambitious attitude.
At the castle, his excitement about the girl's achievement hasn't died down. "You both did a great job and to think you saved up a ton of cash for choosing to live here" giving her a well-deserved compliment. The hybrid followed Aurora around and listened for instructions, he saw her grow retractable spikes of magical ice from the walls to show her the place is indeed secure. As long as she is inside the castle controlling its structure, it should be in top condition at all times.
Her assumption is correct, Russ didn't really care to receive any money for himself, however he thought of the next best thing to be a fulfilling reward. "The only payment I want is being able to come to visit here frequently, we can hang out with the others," he said as he approached a cold surface and held it together with his enormous strength. "Looks like I'm gonna be here for a while, we could get to know each other in the meantime, so you got any hobbies?" he asked the arcosian trying to start a casual conversation as he helped her work.
