I Wish I Was A Dragon (Open)

"Will you shut the fu-" The hybrid's scream of frustration and anger was cut off by the sudden reappearance of the spirit in her path. In the heat of the moment, it was all she wanted to do to knock the Arcosian out again to keep him quiet while she flew them to safety, but there was hardly time for that now. Instead, her red eyes glowed with power, and she kept her speed steady, even as the Namekian raised his arm again to fire a blast of life force directly at them.

Laverna met the spirit's threat with her own, and with a wide swing of her free hand, she loosed a bolt at the ground in between them. Her grip tightened around the fool under her protection, and she flew through the large cloud of dust and debris she had kicked up...

... and into the hole leading underground.

She stalled only briefly, enough not to plummet into the rushing waters of ick within the city's sewer system, before darting off again down the dimly lit tunnel. The smell was hardly pleasant, and the small space confined her movements, but she was sure that such a tactic would serve them better than flying around in the open air above.
