What was up with the president? Some pretty strange stuff, that's for sure. For one, the whole world thought he was dead! And Yogu knew that definitely wasn't the case. And another thing, he was a fuckin ROBOT! The hell was with that?! And that line of questioning is what led Yogu to stand out in front of Carro's home. King's Castle. This was his home, right? He had come there one particularly bad night while dealing with Monster. That seemed to always be how he and Carro met. When Yogu was in trouble. Similar deal with Chime, he supposed. But he was guessing that just like Chime, after that mountain fight the President was a little worse for wear. " Guess this is sorta returnin' the favor like I did with Chime. 'Course I could be wrong about how Carro is and the guy's doin fine. Buuuuut..." Yogu had his suspicions. If Carro was doing fine, he would've let the rest of the world know he was still alive. This may be a suicide mission, infiltrating the President's home. But damn it, he'd try. His only tools were two extra-large hetaps. One for himself, and one for Mr. President, if he wasn't stopped by what he assumed was an army of drones, mechs, etc. etc. behind the front door. He was sure his presence was at least somewhat noted, judging by how big his energy was. Yogu was floating above King's Castle for a minute or two now. Trying to decide the best course of action. He decided the best choice was the most direct one. Landing at the front door, Yogu would stop, and phase his head through the door. Not knowing what was behind the door, he'd yell, " Yo Prez! You home?! I brought hetap! Let's catch up, dude! Been a pretty crazy few days, huh?!"

THERAPY SESSIONS
CARRO's PL: 100 (ANTISENSE) || LEO: 1 (SUPPRESSED / 200k BASE)
Out of the presidential duo, LEO had to be the voice of reason. But now, the mecha had found herself at a loss for what to do with the immovable object that was her partner's traumas and suffocating worries. She was the one that could peer into his soul itself, to feel everything he felt. Out of everyone, she should have been the one most capable to heal her friend's wounds. She'd tried again and again to speak with her friend, but LEO didn't feel any progress being made to lessen the burden on his soul.
Carro was soon planning to reveal his condition to the public, what was almost as bothersome was being cooped up in King's Castle. Carro was naturally disguised in his robotic state- nobody could recognize him unless they were either psychic, or he or someone else told them the truth. A fifty-foot tall orange robot cat, on the other hand, was easier to recognize. Even in their own home, LEO was careful to avoid windows and doors to prevent herself from being seen. She'd paced the halls like a caged tiger for weeks now.
Though antsy, the feline knew it was for the best... But it didn't stop her from finally caving to head outside, albeit with her cloaking systems in full effect. She'd sat herself atop the roof, her metal turned reflective and nearly invisible as she breathed in the fresh air. The sun was already starting to set and she could make out the stars fading into the sky. Central City's skyline still stood tall in spite of hardship. The reassurance that some things hadn't changed brought LEO a bit of ease.
What wasn't reassuring, however, was an urgent buzz of her scouter systems that nearly shocked her enough to accidentally disable her cloaking protocols. There was a large power nearby- nothing to sneeze at if this was its max output, but dangerously close to the castle. Staying still as to keep her cover, LEO suppressed her power and turned her sights skyward. There was a figure pacing about in the skies. She couldn't make out who or what from afar, but they seemed oddly familiar... And not familiar in the bad way, for once.
Silently slipping through a large window back into the castle, LEO quickly found herself back in the main hall. Was it wise to alert Carro about this potential threat? He had enough to worry about. Before she could think further, though, a voice finally caused the invisible cat to hiss in surprise, back arching as she popped back into sight. She knew that voice. "Yogu?!" Wasn't he supposed to be dead again?!
...Then again, she was no one to be talking in that regard.
"Wha-- where-- what the hell have you been doing?! We were all worried sick!" The protective feline quickly tried to pull the ghost inside with a claw, lowering her head to look him up and down. She couldn't shake off the shock yet. The memory of that colossal blast he'd unleashed was still fresh in her mind. "It has been a 'crazy few days'- You have some explaining to do, you know!" She lectured with a growl. Though in spite of the shock and mild annoyance in her tone, her expression was nothing but relief. Yogu was in one piece- at least, as much as he could be for being undead. He wasn't the only walking corpse in the building, though... "...Though I suppose I have explaining to do as well. You mentioned wanting to speak to Carro?"
Ki Setting lowers LEO's PL to 1, and flavorful use of [SU1] Dud renders her mostly invisible for a bit. Carro both has Anti-Sense and is not yet present- he'll pop up soon!

Popping his head through the door, he didn't see Carro anywhere. But he did see a familiar face! He could recognize that big cat robot and the voice anywhere! " Oh! Sup, LEO?" Someone sure seemed surprised to see him. Yogu gets dragged inside by LEO, hetaps in tow, all the while talking about how worried everyone was. " Oh, you guys were worried about me? If I had known that I would've tried contacting Chime or Oboe! Funny thing about that whole deal, that whole time I was getting ready to attack I had thought I would- Ya know what, I'll save it for when Carro's in the room." Yogu took a hetap out of the bag and cracked it open. " Ya know, I was never a fan of these until I had one a little after showing up on Chime's doorstep a few days ago. This stuffs great! Funny story about that, thought I was still in hell! Thought for sure some mirage demon was eating my soul or somethin'!" LEO's mind didn't seem set on talking hetap. The mech was scolding him now! Talking about how he was going to have to explain himself. " Yeah, yeah, we can do all that stuff later! How've you been with all of this stuff going down?" LEO continued on, noting both sides needed to do some explaining. " Yeah, I was hoping to talk to Carro for a bit. I guess to catch up on recent events and talk about that whole death thing. Chime needed to be sat down and talked to, so now I'm makin' the rounds trying to talk with everyone about what happened." And if he was being honest, he still didn't have the whole picture on just what happened up until right before he launched the attack. He had become such a ball of rage during all of that that he didn't even remember throwing that punch. Knowing that his anger had taken such strong control over himself... With all of that Monster stuff on top of that, he couldn't really even call himself a hero or a good guy anymore, huh? Well, that was all stuff he could chat with LEO and Carro about. " This is Mr. Prez's first time dying, right? And with all that turning himself into a robot stuff, if it's anything like becoming a ghost, I'm sure he needs someone to talk to about it. So I brought some hetaps for us to chug while he talks about whatever! ...Now that I think about it, he can't drink hetaps can he? Huh... Ah, well. Where is that guy anyway?"

THERAPY SESSIONS
CARRO's PL: 100 (ANTISENSE) || LEO: 1 (SUPPRESSED / 200k BASE)
"Why wouldn't we be worried?! You scared us half to death! Chime's probably scarred for life!" LEO continued to stare in a mixture of morbid concern and shock at Yogu's casual dialogue. Even with the knowledge of Otherworld's workings, death itself was frightening to LEO and especially her partner. "I could be worse, but we're doing as well as you'd probably expect. I imagine you have questions about what happened after your, uh... stunt, as we have questions about what unfolded before." She sighed, glancing back down a nearby hall. "Carro's cooped himself up in his workshop again. You have no idea how hard it's been to try and convince him to rest for even a few minutes." Her friend was a crippling workaholic, and now that he had no need for physical rest, it was another wheel of self-perpetuation to add to his declining metal state.
Even then, LEO found herself hopeful. If anyone would understand what he was going through, it would likely be Yogu. While unlike Carro, he was seemingly able to drink and eat if his offerings of Hetap were any indicator, she was willing to bet ghosthood had its share of alienating, inhuman traits. Carro was especially stubborn about not talking about his own problems and feelings, though- would Yogu even be able to get him to talk in the first place?... Well, there was only one way to find out.
"Yes, it's a bit hard for him to eat or drink without a mouth, esophagus, or stomach." She quipped back with a huff. "If you can somehow get him to talk about himself in the first place, I'll be impressed. This way." The feline turned down the hall, eyes illuminating the dark corridor like floodlights. "...Thank you, as well." She turned back to Yogu with a small smile. "You said you were making rounds with all the others, too? I'm sure they're all very appreciative. This all has to be hard on you as well- don't you dare pretend otherwise- and yet..." While she couldn't quell her concerns about Yogu's own state, she was thankful for every helping hand that came her and Carro's way, even if the latter was tentative of accepting them.
LEO came to a stop beside a smaller hallway. She was too large to fit down this one. "One moment." She cleared her throat and reared her head back. "CARRO! You have a visitor!"
From within his office, Carro jolted at the sudden, booming voice. The president hardly thought on who could be visiting- maybe Dion or Chime before peering out from around the corner. He had to do a double take. He turned his optic sensors on and off again, but the sight didn't change. "...Yogu?!" The tiny robot dashed forwards, still in disbelief despite being fully aware of a ghost's ability to escape the Otherworlds. "H-how-- I thought you-- I saw--!!" Carro stammered. In his surprise he failed to account for the fact that he looked very different from the android Yogu saw on Mount Frappe. Without LEO fused, the flaming ki that coated his body to make him look more like himself were gone, and in their fusion's place was a three-fingered, metallic, screen-faced android with a floating head and sputters of orange ki sparking from his head. LEO didn't seem too phased anymore, glancing between her friends expectantly...

Yogu was a little surprised, to say the least. He stared in disbelief at LEO while the big cat went on about how worried everyone was. All he could do scratch the back of his head. " They all really cared, huh? Weird. Always thought of myself as that annoying guy that keeps throwing himself at death's door. Like fodder." Guess not. He supposed that everyone except Nashi and Yanwang and maybe Karon and Chime thought of him as little more than a nuisance. " I guess me being an abrasive little shit the past few years didn't make people hate me as much as I thought." As LEO kept talking, Yogu's mind was swimming in some crappy thoughts. " I wonder what event made me change my tune... I wouldn't have been here checking up on Carro a month ago. Hell, probably not even two weeks ago. Maybe it wasn't one thing, probably the whole ordeal." Maybe he would've checked up on Carro a month ago. Maybe he was wrong about how much of an asshole teen he's been. It was starting to feel like everyone but him could gauge how he was feeling and just wouldn't tell him about it. Boy, he sure was feeling retrospective today wasn't he? That was a bit of a rabbit hole he just went down. He wasn't even sure if that made a whole lot of sense towards the end there. LEO started talking about how Carro was really tough to get to open up, and Yogu figured as much. Looking down the hall she was lighting up, Yogu took another sip and started talking, " Well, let's hope that good old Yogu charm and our shared experience of dying can get the guy to open up!" Then LEO thanked him, which felt strange to Yogu. Then she went on, talking about how everyone would be appreciative of him making the rounds to have a chat after all of... that. And on top of that, she was telling him that that whole showdown on the mountains was hard for him too! " Ahhhh, come ooooon! I ain't doin' anything special. I'm sure everyone else was probably also making plans to head out and talk to everyone about what happened. Guess I was just the quickest to do that... Oh, and don't you worry, I ain't denying all of the trauma I've been collecting and holding in for the past few years. Just gotta hold onto it for a little bit longer while everyone else let's out there's, ya feel me? President's and the Kami's mental health is more important than mine." Finally, LEO called in Carro, who said hello by stuttering and cutting himself off a lot. Yogu greeted him, " Hey, hey! It's alright pal! Don't worry about it! Come on, I already died twice before, ya really think that'd keep me down for long? I'm made-a thicker skin than that!" He seemed to not notice how insane of a statement it was, claiming that death itself was unable to stop him for long. They sure were living in some crazy times. It took until just about now for Yogu to notice the president's strange appearance. " Man, you look... A lot different without all that ki around you, huh?" Looking at Carro made an intense wave of guilt crash into Yogu and pull him under. If he hadn't been sulking on that damn mountain... He could've done something. Not just for Carro, but for Nashi. He felt at least some responsibility for what happened. He was readily available to fight and he just... Wasn't there. He gave Carro and melancholic look as he floated over and crouched down. " I-I'm sorry, man... Okay! Listen up pal! Forget about me and all that dyin' stuff, today we're gonna be talkin' about you, got it?! I don't wanna hear a peep out of you if it isn't you sitting down and telling me about what I missed and how you feel about everything that went down!" Yogu swung his ghost arm around Carro and focused enough so he could pat the robotized president's shoulder. " Now lead me somewhere we can sit and talk, cause I got no clue about the layout of this place!"

CARRO's PL: 100 (ANTISENSE) || LEO: 1 (SUPPRESSED / 200k BASE)
Finally hearing someone admit aloud that the recent catastrophes had messed them up was a nice change of pace, but LEO's pleasant surprise was short-lived when Yogu explained that ever-familiar sentiment of bottling up his emotions for the sake of others. Her expression sunk with mild annoyance. "Though I am glad you at least can admit to it, please do go to someone about your own troubles. The entire rest of the team more or less has that same thought process in an endless self-perpetuating loop that does neither them nor the others they try to help in steed of their own health any good." She growled, though her frustration was moreso directed at the absurdity of the whole thing instead of Yogu himself. "Chime, Carro, Dion, Oboe, Suri, Belle, you, Kais know there's even more of you blaming none but yourself. One of you have to be the one to break this asinine cycle." How did everyone expect to help others when they could hardly help themselves?
Maybe if she was lucky, one of these two would finally cave in. Carro was quick to respond to her call, but in response to Yogu the robot's expression just twisted in concern and worry. "Me? I'm hardly the one that needs worrying about, you're the one who has literally died three times now!" That was three times worse than his own condition- the numbers were there to prove it! "This kinda stuff is just part of my job as President, it's nothing to get worked up over," Carro waved dismissively. "I can't be wasting any time until Earth is safe again. If you think our troubles ended on the mountain, then do I have news for you." Carro sighed, folding his arms and glancing away. LEO glanced down to the spirit with clear exhaustion, gesturing vaguely with her head to Carro as if to say 'look at what I've had to deal with.'
"But, uh, we can catch up in my workshop, I guess?" Carro pushed open the door he'd rushed out of. Inside his personal workspace were piles of machinery and spare parts piled in a corner, and a small, half-built engine of some kid resting on a table. Drawers were overflowing with folders, blueprints galore, and piled paperwork, while depleted batteries were sprawled across his desk alongside a laptop and a wide array of monitors beside a few old chairs. Carro hadn't the time to clean up in awhile.
With a pulse of light, LEO shrunk down to her armored state- bipedal, and no taller than her partner. "You seriously need to clean up in here." She kicked a stray bolt into the corner. "Yes, after we're done with the whole planetary crisis thing." Carro slid himself into his chair, quickly picking up a nearby pen to get back to work on some of his blueprints to multitask. "Speaking of that, I'll tell you what happened after if you explain to me how in the name of the Kais Nashua of all people was dead on the floor by the time I got there to finish Vocado off." Carro was certain it wasn't intentional, if the Kami and Guru's reactions were any indicator. But just how did a five-against-one end with anyone but Vocado dying painfully?

LEO went on and kept talking about how everyone blamed themselves whenever something bad happened. She was right, that seemed to be a theme he hadn't realized until now. It really was all just one cycle, wasn't it? Not just the blaming, but all of it. Someone attacks Earth, people die, and those that get left behind in the hellish aftermath blame only themselves. And nothing changes. They'll just keep going until one big bad shows up and gets lucky enough to kill everyone. " You're right, LEO... I'll be the one to change it, okay? I'll break that cycle. And I'll start by making Carro break that cycle too." This was what real heroes did. Yogu was starting to realize that now. This was the first step to his redemption. He tried to get a word in when Carro started talking, but he couldn't. The guy really didn't want to talk about his problems. Looking back at LEO, this rapid-fire response from the guy seemed to be the norm. This was gonna be hard. Way harder than beating an intergalactic threat like Vocado. Carro led Yogu into their workshop, and boy was it messy. But it was also all super cool to the ghost. " Woah! All of this stuff is sooo neat! Man, I wish I had the brain for this kinda stuff. Ah well, I'd say I'm about as good at fighting as you are at machines, eh Carro?" Was that an accidental insult towards the robo-president? Considering Yogu's history with getting his ass kicked. LEO tells Carro to clean, and he brings up the planetary crisis as an excuse. Yogu immediately shoots back with, " Ya could just let Chime and I handle it ya know. You've been through the wringer buddy." Yogu takes a sit in the chair. Or at least his best impression of someone sitting, which was hard when you just phase through objects. Carro's question sends Yogu's head craning down so all he could see was the dirty floor. He felt sick. A deep pang of guilt reverberates through his body. " I uh..." Yogu knew Carro was just trying to deflect the conversation off of him and onto something else. What Yogu wanted to do most was tell him to start talking about his bottled up trauma but he knew he couldn't ignore that question. His mind flashed back to that fight. The pain tearing through his incorporeal form. The blinding anger that gave him a headache to even think about. The pure destructive power he had in his fist. It was... Disgusting. That was the only word that came to mind. Oh. He was crying. When did that start? How does that even work when you're a ghost? Yogu looked back up at Carro. " I-I'm sorry Carro... R-Really, ya gotta believe me... I didn't mean to do it... I just- I hated Vocado so much! I warned her! So many times! I didn't even know she had jumped in front... I don't even remember throwing the punch!" His self-hatred was beginning to peak again. Maybe he should just float off as he did before, float off until everyone forgot about him. Or go to Hell, ya know, where he belonged. He wasn't even supposed to be there. He wasn't supposed to be there like, five times over. He should've stayed dead the first time. Then Typha wouldn't have died... Then Nashua wouldn't have died... Oboe wouldn't be so against trusting others... Hell, even Vocado might not have become as evil as he did if Yogu wasn't around to constantly goad and fight him. Man, he really was a screw-up. He had come here to help Carro. He even promised LEO that he would. And now he was balling his eyes out and admitting how much of a scumbag he was. Not even five minutes later. What a horrible person.
OOC: Boy howdy that sure is a return post I tell ya what pardner. Sorry for the two week wait lol.

CARRO's PL: 100 (ANTISENSE) || LEO: 1 (SUPPRESSED / 200k BASE)
Carro rolled his eyes when Yogu insisted he and Chime handle things. "I appreciate the sentiment, but it's literally my job to handle things like this, regardless of any 'wringer.'" The robot waggled his fingers to emphasize his verbal quotation marks. "My position as President isn't just for a fancy title. I was chosen by Earth- I have responsibilities, and I have to owe up to them." Trauma and emotional distress be damned, he wasn't elected to make friends or to give his enemies hugs to make them good again, or to cower and quiver when his nightmares reared their ugly heads. He was elected to defend Earth and its people, and it was simple as that. Nevermind his own death.
For better or worse, Carro did manage to shove the spotlight off himself. However, his own expression twisted with pain and regret with Yogu's reaction. "O-oh Kais, I-I'm sorry I asked, I-I-I shouldn'tve--" He stammered and shook his head. He had enough brains to qualify as a rocket scientist, and yet the idea that bringing up his friend's own crippling traumas could be a bad idea hadn't even crossed his mind. Though even if he was awash in self-blame and despair, Yogu did give Carro some much-needed context to the events he missed. Carro steeled his nerves- if there was one thing he was good at, it was talking to people, right? "...I believe you. It wasn't your fault."
A breathless sigh escaped the former saiyan's speakers. "If I'm understanding this right, you and the others warned her many, many times. Her actions, were, uh... her own, not something you need or should take the blame for. If Vocado walked away from all that alive, then..." Carro shuddered. He remembered the hate in his dying foe's eyes. "...We'd have a whole different, and worse problem on our hands."
"N-now I'm not saying Nashua, like, deserved to die or somehow had it coming- gods no." He held up his arms defensively. "What I am saying is that it's all just... one big complicated mess of bad that's blame can't all be thrown on one or two people. But if I had to pick, I'd say Vocado has most of the blame. He's the one that tricked her to begin with!" If anyone should be muttering apologizes, it should have been the one that pierced Nashua's heart before they could even think of healing her- the one who used her naivety to steer her to her own death while saving his own hide for a few minutes longer... But even though that was the case, Carro still felt a knot in his nonexistant stomach. Why did he still feel so conflicted over being the one to pull the trigger?
Carro shook his head. He wasn't about to burden this poor kid with even more baggage than he already had. LEO sighed as soon as that thought crossed Carro's mind again. "...Regardless! There's s-still a lot more to do! If I can't stop you from beating yourself up about it even though you shouldn't, I can help you feel like you made up for it in that case. There's still Dragon Balls to find, an Earth to protect, all that stuff we won't get done by just sitting here and feeling sorry." For better or worse, Carro knew exactly how to keep pushing himself in spite of anything standing in his way, whether that be his own thoughts or death itself. He knew how to do that almost exactly as well as he did keeping the spotlight off his own problems- that was working out really well for him so far.
