A subtle undertone of desperation had slipped into Kara's training lately, a byproduct of knowing that she was being heavily gated by her own body's defects. No matter the effort, no matter the teacher, she couldn't grow strong - at least not strong enough at the rate she was going. It'd take a lifetime to even be half of a Super Saiyan, and that was time she didn't have. A few vague explanations had been passed around concerning why she was like this - and most pointed to a single condition. Her Ki pathways were just screwed up... and they have been since birth. Kara's normal potential and Ki were quite respectable, but her body was simply incapable of handling that much energy pushed through it. The entire thing was akin to trying to get a garden hose to spray after twisting and looping it in on itself dozens of times.
You might eventually get some drops of water to come out, but most of it is kept trapped in the hose itself, unable to escape. Even harsh training only untangled her body's metaphorical hose at a very, very slow rate. Yet she didn't give up. Kara wanted to believe that if she simply kept trying if she preserved through her disability, she could triumph. Two years of work have led her to this point. Comparably weak to the galaxy's greatest warriors, but far above what she originally had thought would be possible. It was her goal to do everything in her power to either cure this ailment or become stronger via force. Whether it was chasing rumors of divine water in the North, running errands for a desert tribe to eat a sacred peach, or simply just classic training routines. The last option was what Kara was about to do now, taking a break in the mystical Furukou Forest.
Her staff was made of the same material - said to have been pulled from one of the Ninja clans sacred trees deep within the forest itself, magically enhanced. Exactly how her rotund and kindly uncle got his hands on the thing was questionable - claiming to have picked it up from a market for a mantlepiece, yet Musta was never one for decoration. Kara had never heard of or had seen these 'Ninja' before, though she supposed that was the point of being a ninja. You wouldn't be particularly good at it if you were a well-known force. Perhaps at some point, she'd go combing through the massive woods to try and find them - beg for training or guidance perhaps, but for now, she was simply here to let her Ki loose without risk of hurting normal people or farmers nearby. As far as Kara knew, nobody lived around here whatsoever besides the aforementioned Ninja, so it should be fine!
Unslinging her staff and setting it aside for the moment, Kara adopted a regular yet well-kept martial stance, form nearly perfect as she took a deep breath to let her Ki flow. The energy always felt... hot. A bit uncomfortably so, and from testing the Earthling knew her destructive capabilities far exceeded her protection, volatile energy hissing and sputtering whenever she shaped it into something a bit more usable. This time was a bit different, and not in a good way. She had to force her Ki this time, pushing it past her body's blockades and attempting to corral it to the surface. Small 'veins' of Ki bubbled to the surface of her skin, glowing dimly, the Earthling blinking for a moment in confusion. That was new. Except it didn't stop. It became brighter and brighter, the searing pain intensifying as the energy ran rampant, Kara gritting her teeth. "I c-can handle this..." She murmured in concentration. "It's n-nothing-" And then she exploded. ...Not in the normal way, though, but simply her body released all of its pent energy at once, creating a resounding shockwave that tore through the area, uprooting trees, scorching grass, and while doing no visible damage, thoroughly harming Kara as she fell face-first to the ground moments later, silent.

Kara (involuntarily) powers up with Blazing Soul (x3/x2T) for a split second, creating a massive blue explosion of Ki, before powering back down and flopping over.
