A bright streak of light darted across the red Vegetan sky, one that fell toward the very surface of the planet.
It was a rickety, broken-down pod of an age long passed. Rust had worn down the pod to the point where it was dismantling itself mid-flight. The reinforced steel burned red as it barreled toward the surface, heading straight toward a land filled only with ruin: The ancient ruins of the Tuffles.
The pod crashed into a pile of debris and concrete, launching a cloud of dust and stone into the sky as it did so. It left a sizeable crater where it had landed. Chunks of steel fell from the hull, revealing a silhouette through the thick cloud of smoke. The pod sizzled and crackled before the door flew from it's hinges, clattering onto the dirt.
A shaky leg stepped out from the cloud of smoke, stomping down onto the dirt. A mechanical leg followed suit, one that had obviously seen better days. The silhouette slowly began to emerge completely, gripping the steel rim of the pod before pulling itself outward.
The Saiyan-like Droid immediately landed on the dirt as he emerged from the smoke. His limbs were trembling in a mix of pain, shock, and fear. Heavy, ragged breaths echoed through his mask.
Duran, one of the last survivors of Tuffle civilization.
He was home, finally. For all the wrong reasons.
His hand clenched into a fist, scooping up dirt and ash before he pounded the ground frustratedly. Duran's eyes shut tightly as he began to hiss through clenched teeth.
He was lucky enough to escape Namek with his life still intact. Duran saw the once-vibrant planet grow red and dark, before dying right infront of his very eyes. He could only watch helplessly from his pod as his new home was taken from him.
A tear escaped his shut eye, then another, and another. But it wasn't only Namek that Duran lost.
More tears crashed onto the dirt below him. He had lost so much more.
Teeth clenched harder and harder, almost shattering. Something much more important.
His head landed on the dirt, defeated. He lost Korla.

...There was one more thing that fell, right after Duran's pod. From within an underground lab in a destroyed Tuffle city, a certain android had punched a low-class Saiyan warrior into the sky. He and his pet Saibaman flew above the city and crash-landed into a different one, the ruined Tuffle Capital. "aaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA- fuck, shit-" The Saiyan and his Saibaman's screams halted as they landed on a building, causing the whole thing to come crashing down. His protective armor had been smashed open when Iyokan punched him, leaving his bruised upper torso bare. Unlike him, the Saibaman that he beared in his arms barely had a scratch on it, so the Saiyan gestured for it to survey the area while he got his bearings. The Saiyan took deep breaths...of the toxic air, and coughed, realizing that his mask was also gone. "D-Dammit-" he said to himself, inturrupted by more coughs. "Ugh, I'm never gonna hear the end of it, am I?" he chuckled, before he continued to cough. He pictured himself, lying in a medbay, recovering from the poisoned air while being scolded by his wife. Yes, he was still confident he'd get to leave, all he had to do was bring in his blutz gen... His scouter read nearby power levels as 72,000 and 50,600. That was fine, he thought, he'd show them what's what with his Oozaru of 225,000! He may have been a low-class warrior, but he'd also been hiding a tremendous power... After using his scouter to call over his spacepod, he stood, raising his fists in preperation. There was one more power reading that the Saiyan had simply disregarded, a power level of 525, still in the next town over. Talia walked back and forth, having no idea how to exit the underground lab she was currently trapped in. The elevators obviously didn't work, but the stairs up to the hospital were no-gos as well, as they had all been blocked up by piles of rubble. The only exit was the giant hole in the ceiling that Iyokan had made, which went all the way up to the surface, but Talia couldn't fly like she could! Talia looked up at it and sighed. Oh, if only she had jet thrusters in her boots like Iyokan, Talia thought. Those were so cool...Just as she gave up hope, closed her eyes and started to imagine herself flying in the air like the android had, she heard bug-like chittering, and fleshy squelches. And she felt something...morph, and change, in the area around her feet. Talia looked down, and her eyes widened. Miniature rocket thrusters jutted out from her two legs, and before she could even react, they belched fire, sending the doctor flying high up into the sky. She didn't even get to scream as she was hurled into the direction Iyokan had went. Without an inkling of how to make a soft landing, Talia crash-landed onto the surface as well. The Tuffle doctor's much less durable body broke apart and splattered across the ground, and all that was left of her afterwards was a white puddle. That was, before the nanomachines that she consisted of started to reform her body. As soon as Talia had a head, a wide-eyed, confused gaze settled on the stranger she landed in front of. With malformed vocal chords, she asked Duran, "Wh-Who...are you?" Unbeknownst to Talia, this was one of the other Tuffle survivors Iyokan had told her about!

PL: 76,000 Iyokan landed firmly on the ground outside after having driven the Saiyan out into the open. They had flown around a hundred kilometres into the tuffle ruins, and she found herself in what her internal systems identified as the corner between Ferula Avenue and Eocene Road. The years had torn a once vibrant center of street carts and small businesses down into a terrible reckoning of what might have been a structure of some kind now. Bones and shrapnel littered the streets, metal and mortar half melted and scattered across every visible surface. She clicked the side of her head as she scanned for where the Saiyan had landed, readying herself to engage. Luckily it seemed, Talia had landed next to Duran. Sending a transmission, she headed toward the Saiyan as she spoke. "Duran. It is good to see you. We are currently under threat from a Saiyan assailant with a recorded battle power of 30 RDZ." Iyokan knew that Duran no longer had his scouter configured to measure battle power in Metric Raditz Units, so she decided to convert it to modern methods for him. "That is 45,000 BP. If he undergoes the saiyan transformation, the threat level will exceed my capabilities. Please assist."Iyokan didn't see the moon, but she could make a safe assumption that after 2000 years the Saiyans may have come up with a mechanical solution to producing the necessary energy waves to transform. Iyokan also thought it might be a good idea to check if Duran had received any communications from their sister. "Also, have you received word from Korla? I have not received any messages since I left Namek." KP: 3/3 - Duran > Talia
