|Things That Don't Matter| - Bamboo's PL: 163,000
Bamboo was watching clouds.
But, of course, she wasn't any normal old cloud-watcher. Cloud-watching fit Bamboo about as well as a square into a circular hole. Luckily, though, with enough force, you could ram the square in there- Bamboo was taking a similar approach with her activity. She'd blast the clouds to take the shapes she wanted! She was innovative, if nothing else.
She laid in the middle of the street, a wide breath of people steering clear of her. She'd been causing general mayhem as of recently, nothing spectacular, but enough to get disapproving looks from gossiping neighbors. She'd have loved to blast them, too, but this was Ashi's planet, and she'd been told to behave.
Whether or not firing volatile ki blasts into the clouds was 'behaving' is still up for debate.
"Heh. That one looks like Stephan..." The cloud did indeed look like her pet bear. If nothing else, Bamboo had some skill in sculpting the shapeless masses to appear as they wanted. "Stephan! No! Look out!" There went his head, the fingers of Bamboo's demonic arm smoking from the ki blast. Heh. This was fun! She obliterated the rest of his body so his head wouldn't be lonely.
Fun came quickly but departed just as fast. She was quickly becoming bored of her current activity, and sat up, face scorched red from the desert sun. Bored, bored, bored! There was a lot of Konatsians around- oh, she could knock them out and see how high she could pile them! That sounded fun... but... eh...
She let out a sigh, getting to her feet. Irritating! She wanted to fight. Someone around here had to put up a fight, right? She shut her eyes, focusing all her attention into her nose. Sniff... sniff...
There was someone around here, smelled kinda musty. He was significantly stronger then the average Konatsian joe, but was also significantly weaker then her. Hmm! Interesting. Very interesting indeed.
Bamboo blitzed through the streets, a gale of wind whipping up a sandstorm as she ran. She skidded to a stop in front of the stranger, pole in hand. It took only a split second to position her pole at his neck, clearly enthused at the prospect. The entire street was dusted in sand behind her.
"Yoo-hoo!~ If you don't tell me your name in the next ten seconds, Im'na whack your head off!"

Unlike some of those who were around him, Kaal was busy watching the busied streets from the viewpoint of an emptied alleyway in front of him- attempting to think of a way to deal with the gigantic power signature he was sensing just a couple klicks off of where he was positioned currently. While this wasn't exactly his first rodeo when it came to confronting a person of great strength, Kalabas the paranormal anomaly came to mind when thinking of abnormally strong people, this person was seemingly even in a greater league than that of the Strongbone duke- something that he was struggling to wrap his head around at the moment. Such a realization made him think back to his distant past- his people were isolationists, yes, and they themselves were no strangers to the art of battle, but, if beings like this existed within the great cosmos they had chosen to cut themselves off from, perhaps they were right in their choice to remain cautious and cut from the outside universe? Especially when he considered the fact that while Kalabas' energy itself was less than righteous, this power signature's nature was much more chaotic- maybe not villainous, but certainly unpredictable. Something that was always dangerous to see in those of great strength.
He hoped that perhaps, maybe, this would turn out to be the same as his encounter with Kalabas- that maybe his wariness was unneeded and that this person of interest was actually just as cordial as the Saiyan soldier had been with him. But, something also told him that no one was ever that lucky for so long.
And, it was at that moment that his aforementioned luck began to take a turn straight down the drain, and his inner radar immediately sensed movement from the being that he had been keeping a close tab on for the past several minutes now. His eyes widening as he saw whoever it was barreling down the opposite end of the street that he had been looking down within on, his right hand immediately reaching for the hilt of his sword hidden within the folds of his cape as a last second defensive maneuver, his lightning blue aura swiftly encompassing his body as he powered himself up to his peak, blue volts of electricity surging outwards from him and flowing around him in arcs as he tried to bring his sword up to defend himself.
However, the strength and speed gap proved to be too great, and so his hand was barely on the grip of his sword, which was still hidden within its scabbard, before the green haired adversary popped up right in front of him, wasting no time in getting him right against the wall using the end of her pole. A flash of shock and awe made its way onto his face for a moment before he was able to reign it in- his soldiering experiences taking over and ensuring that he was able to keep his cool under this most definitely stressful situation. His baby blue eyes stared directly into her amber colored gaze, the inherent glee she took in ruffling his feathers disturbing him slightly.
This was a fighter completely off their rocker- the most dangerous type of fighter to find yourself facing off against, at least in his own humble opinion. It definitely didn't help either that she was seemingly within her base form- the prospect of a transformation forcing her strength into greater heights actually able to send a shiver down his normally more composed spine.
Once Bamboo relayed him her ultimatum, Kaal tittered slightly- the childish vibe he got from her words not at all fitting the context, which amused him a bit despite the potentially perilous circumstances of which he now found himself in. Clearing his throat, his voice remained even, unafraid, composed, as he spoke, saying, as he attempted to gently push the tip of the pole to the side with his pointer finger, "Not to worry- I don't mind an introduction or two. There is no need for the whacking of heads, for now, at least. My name is Kaal- I'd tell you my full name but something tells me that you'd get bored of it quite quickly."
Feeling more, curious, than he was, afraid, now, he continued, asking in an inquisitive tone with a slight tilt of the head, "Who exactly might you be, then? Not many people like you come around these parts often, you know. But, then again, I did meet that strange, no-mouthed man not too long ago. In fact, he was nearly as strong as you- but alas, I'll stop my rambling for now."

|Things That Don't Matter| - Bamboo's PL: 163,000
Oh, so he was one of those types, huh?
Bamboo could smell it from a mile away. The kinds of boring dudes that just stayed cool and calm and collected when you threatened them. People didn't know how to fear for their lives anymore, thought Bamboo. This wasn't squirming. This was, like, playing dead. Playing dead was boring. In fact, Bamboo was more inclined to convert those who played dead into being dead.
Fortunately for Kaal, he caught Bamboo on a good day.
And outside a death-enabled thread.
Regardless, she wasn't entirely sure what to do with him. He was a real fixer-upper, that was for sure. She could smell the glimmer of a good fight within him- maybe the slightest trace of a vengeful spirit, a spiteful man seeking revenge. For now, though, he was too repressed. He was a boring type- the type who masked what they really felt. It was always a challenge to make those who suppressed their base instincts to show their colors. The options were flight or flight, not fight or flight or talk. Clearly, she wasn't getting enough of a rise out of him. Fortunately, that could always be changed!
She considered her options. Friends and family members? Those threats were usually effective, but Bamboo didn't know enough about this guy to threaten him like that. She'd sure look dumb if she said she'd kill all his friends, only to learn that he had no friends. He surely seemed like the kind of guy who didn't. Maybe he had some family or something, but she wasn't sure. Didn't seem like he was from around here, either way. She'd spent enough time with Ashi to know what a Konatsian smelled like.
Wait, there was a no-mouthed guy around here that was as strong as she was!? Exciting! Her head whipped around in surprise, ready to book it to her new destination... before she snapped herself back on track with a few slaps to her cheeks. Focus!
"Gotcha, gotcha, I'll find him later..." Oh, right. He asked who she was! Might as well be polite, right?
"I'm Bamboo! The Green Stargoon. Y'know, one of the most wanted people in the galaxy. Blew up a planet recently. Was pretty fun. Didn't even break a sweat, really." She didn't technically blow it up, but she tried to. Twice. Stupid Cress.
Maybe he was the type of guy who was attached to objects? She'd seen a couple like that. Family keepsakes or whatever. He didn't look like he had anything cool on him, though. Maybe that thing on his hip?
Disregarding her previous statement, she pointed towards the blade. "What's that thing?"
