Kabocha had fiddled with the pendant around her neck, toying with it by batting it about with one finger as she stared at it's contents. It looked to be a mere normal ruby- but... on the inside. She could see much more. She saw swirling, twisting patterns of impurities and merely staring at it filled her heart with a sensation she'd never felt, or that she had long forgotten. The young Saiyan found it much easier to bear through the procedure she needed to grit her teeth through with this on her person. In fact- the doctor said he'd never seen someone look so calm on the table. This Gem... [Potana... She said it was an Heirloom from my family... Not to tell mom, or dad...] She sighed and let go of the pendant, letting it sway and rest on her chest. [... The Growth, the age it had to have been put in... I... I don't really want to believe it. But...] She felt a well of frustration bubbling forth that she concealed by letting her throat hitch before the frustrated shout could make its way out. Her face heated up a bit but she was able to push that feeling down. Instead she grabbed a tank top that one of the engineers had given her for work out clothes and threw it on.
She initially came through the doors of her temporary hospice quarters wanting to let out some steam and train- though, she felt like that would be a bit... painful given her first run-through of it. Half way through she found herself thinking a bit more. [I...I want to see my sister. I-... I also need to see my family. Renkai, Yamu, and Radisa probably miss me a lot... and I need answers from my parents. But I don't know if I can do this alone... I don't wanna pop like a gasket and accuse them... I need...] She thought to herself as she finally made her way to the armor station in the engineering bay. She unlocked the case with the card Garruk had given her, and she stared at the Key Card for a moment as the Plexiglas case slowly swiveled to allow access to the armor. [I need...]
From Garruks scouter- if it was on, a message would appear. Simply saying {I need to meet with my family, do you think you could come with...? I can come meet you if you want, or we could meet outside}

Garruk's day had been far form eventful, his duties making him stay at headquarters rather then out on the ark training. It was some thing he was starting to enjoy more and more with each session, a blessing given just how much he trained. The pile of paper work in front of him never seeming to get any smaller no matter how many hours he worked reducing their number. Freist was often a god send in helping him with his paper work, the tall Acrosian needing little if any training in handling the citys administrative duties. In fact Freist at this point could teach him a thing or two with all the skill he seemed to have at working though the paperwork. With a sigh he put down the latest paper as he rested his eyes, the small Acrosian putting his fingers on the bridge of his nose before pinching down on it in a effort to stall the approaching headache. It was during this that his head set let up pinging him of a urgent matter, a matter with the city that needed his direct attention at that very moment or if Kabocha contacted him. Tilting his head he opend the message on his scouter, the small device giving him the audio message.
{I need to meet with my family, do you think you could come with...? I can come meet you if you want, or we could meet outside} the small device relied to him, change in the quiet room alerting Freist that something was up. Getting up the Arcosian wrapped his arms around Garruk as he leaned over him to read the message again, the closeness making Garruk wonder just when did Freist starting touch him quite so much. It was not that he minded the attention and he even assumed it was a good thing that Freist had taken a liking to him since they where now married, it was always a good thing if you liked each other in a arranged marriage. "Ahh Kabocha was it? I still have yet to meet her but I am sure it will happen sooner or later with all the money she has spent in the engineering bay for that armor." Freist teased, the taller Acrosian taking delight at any chance he had to tease his partner about working him to hard. "It seems important so go ahead, ill stay a bit longer to finish this for you and if it becomes to much I am sure we can pawn some of it on Jet to finish." he finished his tone more somber as he turned back the the larger pile in front of him with a scowl.
Garruk just nodded and said his thanks before he left, his appreciation for his new partner growing in times like these. Normally he would not have been able to afford to get away at a moments and having some one to pick up the slack was a change of pace. Quickly leaving the room Garruk moved though the city with a purpose, his scouter telling him the exact location of kabocha's Scouter making tracking her down rather easy. The poor girl was on at one of the nearby islands, one of the islands nearby that he marked to eventually become a part of the city. Still as he made his way though the water he thought about her message some more, the contents of it made it clear that Kabocha had pieced together some of what had happened to her at the very least. He had hoped she would stay in the dark for at least a little longer, give her time to adjust to the city a bit before she learned the truth. But fate had other idea's it would seem and sooner would come rather then later.
Making his way though the water had been simple enough as he now hovered over the island, his scouter telling him Kabocha was nearby. Looking around it only took him a moment to catch sight of her and her new fancy armor, the design rather familiar to him. Pushing the thought out of his head he floated closer before calling out to her "Kabocha! I got your message!"

Kabocha sitting on one of the islands was still staring at her pendant. Though- when garruk started to approach, she gave a somewhat hoarse "hEy..." and cleared her throat, realizing she hadn't spoken a lot today. "Aaaah... better- ANYWAYS" She let the Ruby pendant sway and clink against the armor as she reached to the side of her helmet and hit a few buttons on the side of her head. Causing a soft hiss as she pulled off the helmet completely and stuffed the pendant under her armor while tucking the helmet under her free arm turning to garruk fully now. "Thanks for comin' Garruk" She smiles, showing a level of her normal personality that had come back thanks to the efforts of the medic staff, and engineers. Her head turned downward a bit as she looked to her feet and shuffled them a bit nervously. before looking back to Garruk. She opened up her arms a bit and attempted to strike up a bit of conversation before the heavy stuff. "By the way- Tada, the fully realized armor set...! Not sure if you got to see it before but- yeah! It has everything a girl could want! Heads Up Display with real time biometric tracking and passive self scanning so I don't- well have a heart attack" She chuckled a bit, trying to boost up her own mood before pausing and putting a finger to her lip. "...Oh w-ow I am a nerd." She has a mild grin, though she felt like she should offer the topic again when she had her turn next to speak.
When she could her face looked a bit more dour as she tried to sum up the words quickly to garruk. "L-look ah- something... I've been wrackin' my brain around- I uh-" She gave a false cough to retry "I haven't seen my family in a bit- and.. Well I thought I might introduce them to the big guy who saved me, and helped me so far...!" She said, telling- well a half truth. She did earnestly want Garruk to meet her siblings. Even if the parental prospect was a bit more concerning till she could talk to them. She lightly nudged Garruk's shoulder with an elbow- though she did have to tilt awkwardly to do so. "So- Are ya in...? Sorry to pull you away from your partner, or your work- or Greisha- If you need to be here I understand" she chuckled nervously as she ran a hand along the back of her neck. The cold alloy chilling the nape of her neck. In all earnestness she hoped the smol big guy would come. She had so many swirling and twisting emotions in her heart right now- it felt like it could shatter if she wasn't careful.

Garruk had already seen some pictures of Kabocha's armor but it really did make her look like a Acrosian at a glance. Her breaking voice broke him out of his own thoughts as she gave him a welcome, the girl trying her best to appear normal if only for the moment. He could not blame her as recent revelations were quite difficult to swallow and he could only imagine how much worse it was for her. Her ramblings about the armor only made him move closer and inspect it himself, the small acrosian tapping on the armor with his knuckles gently before nodding. "It looks like a Gold-platinum alloy was used for armor and a outer layer of Chobham plates to absorb impacts, it looks likes Freist was not teasing me about the expense for no reason." He said after a moment of studying it, his eyes checking the work his engineers had done on her armor. A expensive armor to say the least but since it was not for mass production it would not be a burden on their resources. "The only things you might need help with is finding out how to lessen the impact form strikes as the kinetic energy will stop at the softest part of the target, I.E that would be you. I suggest looking into some of the bio armor I use to mix in with the Chobham plates or perhaps using a miniature gravity device similar to the ark that would automatically soften blows for you. I am sure one of the engineers could even convert your ki pump to power it so the armor would grow in strength as you do." he suggested after a moment, the small Acrosian's eyes focused as he thought on the matter some more.
"Ahh sorry I got off track" he apologized when he noticed the dour look on her face, his breath catching for a moment as he tried to think of what to do. He was not close to many so he really had no idea what to do, his lack of social graces outside of social events held by nobility preparing him little for this. It was funny that it was easier to jump into battle with his life on the line rather then go and meet the family, it was not that he did not want to but he was sure it would not end with a happy ending. At the very least there would quite a few road bumps along the way, still he did not mind doing it.
"I already made arrangements to be able to go so its all good and by arrangements I mean I dumped all the work on Freist. I would be worried if not for the fact the man seems to enjoy paper work" he gibbed to lighten the mood at least some what. "And if I did not go I am sure Greisha would want to come and lets be honest about that. You don't want that battle axe of a woman to be the first impressions of your new friends, her stare can make paint peel" He joked again, as he tired to lighten the mood some more. "Plus I think its best if you did not go alone. I am coming with you don't worry Kabocha." he said finally on a more somber note. He knew it was coming and he had been preparing himself for some time for this, he just hoped Kabocha would not be to hurt when all was said and done.

Kabocha's smile was a little easier to hold up when Garruk went into the details on her armor, she didn't know he was quite the nerd, just like her- so this was a nice surprise! With all the melancholy it was nice to know your friend was just as big of a dork as you were. She'd put a pin on that note since he gave her an earnest answer and reassurance that it'd be okay to head out. She chuckled, a bit more lively with Garruk's jabs at his own expense cheering her up "Glad to know your partner's a bookworm!~ It'd be nice to chat with them about research papers i've gone though in my dad's study- and yeah, I'm pretty sure Yamu would a-DORE Greisha, but i'm pretty sure she'd reduce Radisa to a puddle of water like she did for me" She giggles now, having a bit of life really return to her. [...Maybe this- won't be so bad...? After all, I could be wrong...!] She hoped against hope that this would be the case. "But seriously-" she looks to the floor with an appreciative smile spread along her face "I really appreciate this" She turned to the side and put her helmet back on and turned on the Mic so he could hear her "Hmmm, I.... think... yup found the map app" she tapped the side of her helmet near the orange glowing core as her scouter started to display a map of the east as she waved for Garruk to follow "Let's get goin' then, and uh... please don't sass me to death with how I fly"
Kabocha knelt down to the ground and concentrated a bit, feeling a bit of anxious energy to get this right and not look like an idiot. The armor's piping began to speed up, glowing a bit brighter as her ki funneled to the bottom of the boots. [Wait- wait wait wait, I need to tell garruk about the pendant] She turned her head as her focus diverted slightly. However- she forgot to turn off auto ki flight. Surprisingly this isn't an autopilot. it's propulsion. "Hey Garruk, I-" She started, turning her head to him as the boots burst out the liftoff energy, causing her to shriek in surprise as it blasted her upward at a blinding speed, then since her legs weren't braced they flung a bit upward. As they went upward this forced her flight down and she arc'd downward and smashed into the ground. She slid along the island dirt making an indent of her pathing. She was able to kick her legs down into the ground, finally pulling up and flying off towards the east, gaining a little bit of control- but being a bit too dazed to think of stopping right there and then. {I'm alright! How do you fLY SO EASILY?!}

Hearing about her family made him smile a bit, her stories of her family making him want to meet them all the more. It was true he was worried about the parents and what could happen when Kabocha finally confronted them about her condition however he also wanted to meet the people that had raised the girl in front of him. Even if what they did was wrong it seemed they had at least gotten the rest right and it seemed like with some help help she could gain the strength her race was known for. It was only then that he realized his coming might create a scene, he had not thought about it till now since Kabocha was already so friendly but he was sure the fact he was a Acrosian might scare the parents. He doubted the siblings would react badly but the parents would be another story, he might have to prove that he was not in fact trying to take advantage of her.
"Its alright I don't mind and its fun to get away form all the work. Plus now I get to ask about embarrassing stories form your siblings" he teased at her thanks, the small Arcosian was sure that Greisha might have told more then a few about him. Honestly when he was small he such a ball of energy that is was a wonder no one had killed him just so they could have a moment of rest. Still looking at her as she asked for him to not make fun of her he could only nod, his eyes looking on as he wondered if he would see failing around like most of the new recruits. However what he got was some thing entirely different then his expectations, the Siayen in front of him taking off more like a poorly done bottle rocket then any kind of flying he had seen. He could only wince when she hit the ground, the figure tearing up the ground much more akin to a bulldozer then person. When she shot off into the sky Garruks hands where up in surprise, his mind racing to figure out what just had happened before shooting off after her.
Garruk felt horrible, if he had been ready he could have easily caught her before she hit the ground but he had just been too stunned by the sudden crash. Quickly catching up the small figure darted in circles around her as he checked her condition, the armor looking for the most part unharmed made him sigh in relief. The last thing he needed was to show up at the family house with Kabocha looked like she just got out of a fight, even if he was in no danger form then he still wanted to make a good first impression. It would already be awkward enough with him being a Acrosian and while he did not care much for her parents opinion at the moment he still cared to make a good impression with her siblings. With the pace set Garruk cranked up his speed as he darted in rapid circles around Kabocha, his graceful arcs making him look more at home in the air then the ground.

Kabocha steadied herself as much as she could, though even the most graceful flying to her looked like a cat being held over a tub full of water, limbs splayed and flying MUCH slower than garruk. As He weaved around her she turned off the mic for a brief moment to stew in mild jealousy at the graceful arcs Garruk was making. She couldn't do crazy fun stuff like that! "Frickin' graceful... pointy head friend...." She huffed as she put her arms to her sides a bit more to increase her speed so they could get to her home in- well, the next week.
After a few minutes of Kabocha looking at the map, and looking at the ground and regretting it because it made her feel a little dizzy- She turned her mic on and adjusted her stance so she could wave to Garruk safely "Alright! We're here! Follow me" instead of swinging right down like most fliers, she slowly drifted down by lowering her power output- like a hi-tech jet trying to land. She kept one eye open and one eye closed, worried as hell about pendulum swinging into a building with how sensitive and uncoordinated her flight was. Though Very safely she found herself on the ground, hands and feet both on the earth probably making her look a bit silly. She breathed a sigh of relief as she relaxed. "Alrighty-" she stood up and straightened out, tapping her helmet and letting the whole helmet retract slowly into her armor. When Garruk came close or landed she spoke "I'll let my family know i'm back home- so that I can introduce ya!" She gave a happy smile to garruk. The house they landed nearby had it's lights on and a young saiyan woman was sitting at the door- about kabocha's age
Radisa- The saiyan girl at the steps was a bit shorter than Kabocha, standing at 5'6" and she was actually sort of chubby! her hair was MUCH spikier than Kabochas, trailing down to her waist and even her hair on the side of her head trailed down to her chest. She was- feeling pretty low. Recently her OTHER sister ran off, after her OLDEST sister ran of so many years ago! It was pretty boring being at home, cause Kabocha was her best friend! Her fav sister! She sighed as she flicked a rock on the ground, sending it a good distance off. [Sis hasn't been back in weeks... Is she okay??? Why did dad let her go on the journey?! WHY DID MOM LET HER GO WITHOUT A FIGHT?! I swear only me and Renkai have any sense... I wanna see my sister...] She huffed and curled up a bit against the door. "Sis, come back home..." She muttered to herself as she heard a small TINK as the rock she flicked smacked into kabocha's armor. Radisa stood up slowly, and squinted "Is that an arco...? WAIT! IS THAT?!" her heart skipped a beat as she realized- HER SISTER! SHE WAS BACK! She immediately opened the door and shouted to the inside "KABOCHA'S BACK!!!"
Another saiyan woman erupted from the door at that proclamation. A short haired semi curly hair'd saiyan who was- actually tall as hell. like- 6'8" territory with a lean but still athletic build. Good lord. She had tanned skin unlike her sisters. She was Renkai evidently as Radisa pointed at kabocha and excitedly said "It's Kabo! Renkai!" Renkai and Radisa's face lit up like christmas lights as they charged up the hill that Kabocha and Garruk were, catching Kabocha off guard as she and Renkai tackled their sister to the ground in excitement "Sis!" they both exclaimed as they hugged her tighter than probably most trash compacters could. hell- the armor even though it protected her sounded like it was slightly groaning from the titanic sisterly hug.
"ACK!" Kabocha was flung to the ground- there was a moment of panic before it settled as she recognized the sight of her sisters! earnestly the greeting shed a lot of burden from her shoulders as she chuckled at their greeting with slight tears in her eyes. knowing her family hadn't greeted her differently was HUGE for kabocha right now "Hi Radi! Hey Renny!" she took a moment to check her armor for damage as the both of them stood up properly and looked to Garruk.
Radisa was bright red with embarrassment, but Renkai- still with a smile held out her hand "Hey, I'm Renkai, this is Radisa- We're Kabocha's sisters. You must be her-" She started when she was stopped by Radisa's hurried and- frankly loud whispering to Kabocha "IS HE YOUR BOYFRIEND?!" Eliciting a facepalm from both Renkai with her free hand and Kabocha. Renkai continued and stated "Friend? It's nice to meet ya, haven't met an arcosian in a long while. Nice to see your kind around earth. Don't worry- we're not the kind of saiyans to be rude to guests."
A young saiyan man stood outside the house, arms crossed and analyzing both Kabocha and Garruk as he leaned against the house. His hair was short, and ve ry spiky like a typical saiyan and he was- fairly stacked despite his lithe body type. He looked like he had his eyes on Garruk more often than kabocha. His expression wasn't... anger? or discontentment, in fact there was a mix of happiness clear given his little sister's return, but his eyes were sharp and locked on the both of them.

Garruk's flight was a mix of him just enjoying the sky and him studying Kabocha's flight, the small figure checking on just how well she did. Her rocket like propelled flight was very different the the way a normal fighter flew, her movements were clumsy at best but he also understood that the poor girl has not been flying long. Unlike a normal fight as well was that her movements where entirely based on the way her feet where moving where a normal fighter could create energy to stand on or even surround themselves with ki to move in every direction, it was problematic that she still had not learned how to fly without the suit. He resolved to make sure she learned how without the suit even if you prevent any more take offs like the one he had just seen before this.
Still flying in short circles around his friend Garruk nodded when she finally told them they were there, the small alien looking over the small house or at least small compared to what he was used too. Then again he was sure their were good things about staying in a cramped house with your family, his own family barely had time to meet and a small home like this meant they got to see each other quite often. A small spring of jealously that sprung up at the fact was quickly squashed as he smiled up at Kabocho, he needed to be there for her at the moment and the feeling was childish.
It was the yell by the girl in front of the house that warned him of the incoming tackle hug, the small Arcosian jumping a few feet over them in the air just in case so he would not get knocked over. He simply smiled at the sight, the display of affection would do good for Kabocha after everything that she had been dealing with. Landing a few feet away he let the siblings have their way with their sister, the small figure waiting for them to get it out of their system as they finally turned to him. The figure in front of him introducing herself as she tried to shake his hand, a awkward gesture due to his size as he held his hand up way above his head and shook it back. It was not until the younger sister interrupted with the poor disguised whisper that he busted out laughing, the memory of Greisha pulling the same stunt coming back to his mind as he let Renkai finish the introductions.
"Hello there I am Garruk Brumal and yes your sister has had the unfortunate lucking of befriending me" he jested for the first part of his introduction, his eyes going over the differences in the three sisters. It was easy to tell that the three were related and more then just in appearance, their personality's were different then Kabocha's but it was easy to tell that all of them where easily excitable. "I am glad you meet all of you and you don't have to worry I know what most of my kind are like. Even I don't like letting them into my home most of the time" he replied truthfully, the small lord work had his deal with most of the vipers of his race constantly. It would be some time before he could trust his own kind but till then he totally understood where most people where coming form when they did not want to let them in.
Turning the he looked over to the young man near the house before pointing at him and asking "Is that your brother Yamu?", the small Arcosian looking back at the small gaggle of girls near him. He did not want to stare at the figure in case of causing a misunderstanding, his eyes trying to find some clue if he was correct or if the figure was a stranger or not.

Renkai looked over to her sister, who was still somewhat face palming at Radisa's poor excuse for careful conversation while Radisa panicking, apologized to her sister for embarrassing her in front of her friend. "Looks like a lot more good luck more than bad" Renkai said coyly as her tail swayed along the ground. turning to watch her siblings
Kabocha huffed and gently pushed at her sister to get off of her "C'moooooon! lemme go Radi!" She puffed up her cheeks as her cheeks flared a bright pink embarrassment at Garruk seeing her pinned by someone so easily "I am the pinnacle of strength!" she joked and gave up, prompting Radisa to actually get off of her.
Radisa giggled a bit and patted her armor'd chest, right on the glowing core "What's all this for sis? You look like you're from that tech movie we saw- you know, the one where they get trapped in the Bao Game?" To which her sister Kabocha cried out and had her helmet come back on as she flailed her limbs in pure dread, forgetting the mic was active last time she had it on "Noooooooo! Ohmygod I wanna diiiiie! It really does look like it!!!"
To the addition of Garruk pointing at the young man, Renkai nodded a bit and leaned close to Garruk to whisper "He's tryin' to figure out if you're worth his interest, he likes a whole lot of trainin' and weight lifting. Don't be upset if he doesn't take a likin' to ya. it's nothing personal." she chuckled a bit and added "Though considering that edgelord's out here, i'm assuming he thinks you'd be a good training buddy already."
Radisa giggled and loomed over Kabocha "You know I can still hear you, you goober!~" She taunted, turning to the house and waving to Yamu "Hey! go let mom and dad know Kabo's back you meathead!" she added to her taunting behavior "Sorry 'bout that, he's pretty intense...! So!" she scoots over to Garruk in a moment's notice "What's your game pretty boy? You lookin' for a tall girl/guy to marry?~" She smirked to Garruk
Renkai reached out and smacked Radisa on the back of the head lightly as she walked to her sister "Come on, grow up- not everybody's your shipping fodder- How are ya doin' Kabo? Still red as an apple?" She spoke to the armored saiyan currently kneeling on the ground dejectedly at her embarrassing performance "y-yeah, i'm fine though" she had her helmet retract and she papped her face lightly to banish her flushed face while Yamu walked into the house and closed the door to get their parents.

Twisting his head to the side a little Garruk smiled at the sisters complement, the small Arcosian grateful that he was considered at least some what attractive even if he was barely over three feet tall. "Thanks" he replied with a small bit of embarrassment, his eyes going back and forth as he watch the sister torment Kabocha. The taller girl pinned down rather easily, his eyes watching just how careful Radisa was with her bigger sibling. Before the armor and surgery he was the sisters must have treated Kabocha like glass, the sister that the others would need to protect form everything. He wondered just how much the sibling would notice Kabocha's growth or if Kabocha was still not sure how to use her strength, regardless it was interesting to watch this family worked compared to the colder and more conservative family he had grown up in.
Lifting a few feet off the ground Garruk made himself stop around head level so the gaggle of girls would not have to look so far down to meet his eyes, his chair back at the city often doing that for his own men. Still enjoying the exchange wondered just what Bao game was, a reference form some thing on earth and he would need to look it up some time even if only to tease Kabocha later. Chuckling as she tried to hide in her armor like a turtle Garruk just patted the helmet in sympathy he just let the sisters torment her for a moment longer, his mind wondering if he should join in the fun.
"ahh so its best not to tell him I have a gravity machine that can increase gravity over a 150 times earths gravity then? I imagine I would be hard pressed to get rid of him then ya?" He jested to the siblings, the small Arcosian trying his best to find something to talk about however with the shorter girls second attempt in asking about his relationship status he wondered if he should play along or tease her. "I am already taken and even if I was not I tend to like them shorter then me" he finally said admitting his status of not being single, the second part of the sentence being a jest but it felt flat to him with even him unsure where he was going with it.
With a slightly excited flick of his tail Garruk looked around trying to imagine growing up here, the siblings most likely having to watch over their sister constantly. "So you Grew up here Kabochan? I imagine their was plenty of space for you to run around in or where you the sister that liked to stay in the house unless you were forced outside by your siblings?" he asked, the small lord interested in know a bit of her back ground as he looked around. Snapping his head back to her sisters his faced turned into a thoughtful gaze before he finally it turned into the cat like appearance he had showed before when he had teased her. "So....what embarrassing stories can you tell me about her? I am sure my nanny has told all kinds of them to her and I need ammo" he asked with cat like eyes, the small Arcosian trying to keep the mood happy for as long as he could. He was sure the ending of this story would be a unhappy one even if Kabocha forgave her parents.

Renkai chuckled at Garruk's joke, though she did add a "Oh, yeah no you might not wanna mention that, he will absolutely crush his spine to get the adrenaline rush that he gets from working out." Radisa pouted at Garruk's response "heck- wait, your partner's shorter than you?!- ho-" Kabocha came up and cupped her hand around Radisa's mouth and pulled her back from Garruk with a loud "SsSHSHSHSHSHHHHHH" Radisa and Renkai were- really surprised kabocha could pull her away so quickly, clearly never having seen this before.
Kabocha popped her head above her sister and nodded "Yup! This stretch of land's owned by my mom- and my dad uses a good portion of the underground for his lab work! And yup, Yamu would drag me out here to jog with him if I was playin' video games too much" She let go of her sister, who rolled away with a faked pout.
When Renkai was offered the chance to embarrass her sister by garruk, she smirked a bit. Even her, as mature as she was, couldn't keep from meming on Kabocha. "Oooooh, should we talk about the time Kabocha cried because we were carving pumpkins?" Eliciting a "NOOOOOOO!" from kabocha, having her charge at her sister to keep her silent. Just as she was in lunging distance she went for a hug tackle to silence her sister- only to be juked by Renkai while continuing. "Oh! there was a time she took home a small stray cat and begged our parents to keep the cat even though the cat was scratching the hell out of her even while she held it" Renkai started to giggle a bit, causing Kabocha to shout "you girls are awful! How could you do this to me?! I'm ruined!" She flopped onto the ground, suffering from the embarrassment.
Yamu eventually came out the door with two saiyan adults. one which was a 5'2" short haired tan saiyan with glasses as thick as Kabocha's armor, and a thick, bushy mustache that screamed 'you cannot tame me mortal' and while still looking youthful, was oddly starting to show bags under his eyes. Probably from lack of sleep though. The saiyan mother was the more natural looking saiyan, long spiky black hair, defined muscle tone and- unreasonably tall. at a steady 6'4", shorter than Renkai, but showing clearly where the tall genes come from. They approached the area the rest of the group was, the mother- mizuna chuckling a bit "come on, stop destroying your sister, that's our Job Renkai- We can show our guest her baby pictures soon..." She looked to kabocha and her face softened a bit "Hello Kabocha, I'm glad you're home" She knelt down to her daughter, and rest her hands on Kabocha's shoulders, noting her armor "Armor's new, but I can tell you've been on one hell of a journey kiddo" Kabocha looked to the side and nodded, while having mixed feeling she- wanted to be honest "I couldn't find Potana... but- I know she's out there, she's sent mail to me...!" Mizuna looking quite surprised, though she sighed and nodded "I know honey. She's gotta be out there somewhere. If anyone could find her, I feel like it could be you. You two were always so close..." Mizuna offered, trying to give her child earnest words of encouragement, even though she had an earnest pained look on her face
Kabocha's father approached Garruk and jested immediately "I'm hoping my daughter hasn't been givin' you much trouble, she can be as scatterbrained as her father- Speaking of, I'm her father Jagaimo." He offered his hand to Garruk, probably being a bit easier to shake than the Giant Renkai. Though his eyes darted to his Daughter Kabocha, staring at the armor and his hand faltered for a moment, whether he shook it or not. "Thats some peculiar armor she has, do you know where she got it?"

Garruks grin only grew wider when the sister followed up his joke and had him grinning like a fool. He could just imagine the only son doing just as Renkai said, his Saiyan instincts finding a outlet threw working out. He might just make a smaller scale version to send him sometime, a smaller one then the ark was not to hard to make and would be a nice way to make friends with Kabocha's family. It was not till Kabocha pulled the sister away that he snapped out of his thoughts, the smaller Arcosian watching the interactions with the family the best he could. So far he could tell Kabocha and Radisa were youngest of the siblings, with Renkai being the elder sister. It was very likely Renkai had done her share of watching the two as they grew up he noted, his mind wondering if that was why she seemed more collected then the other two sisters.
"A gamer huh? Don't tell her I told you but Greisha has been addicted to one of the earthling's games, I think its called harvest sun?" he said, his voice getting lower as he put his tail in front of his lips, a Acrosian way of telling another to be hush hush. Looking around he studied the surrounding area again, his mind wondering just how big the man's lab was. It would have to be a decent size at least to develop the bio weapon, a project like that would require plenty of room just for safety reason and only more so with the family living nearby. Just thought was enough to make his blood pulse as his face twitched, the Acrosian fighting the urge to scowl as he turned back to the siblings. He wanted the smiles to last as long as they could, the painful part of their visit would happen sooner or later without his help. Plus Kabocha's overreaction was priceless to watch, so he simply watch with a grin on his face.
It was not until the parents came out of the house that he finally let his eyes wonder again, the small pupils in his eyes locking onto the father and the creature on his face. Realizing he was staring he simply kept floating at eye level with Kabocha and awaited for them to join in the conversation, the parents no doubt happy to see their daughter. Carefully he gauged their actions, trying to find some reason to damn or redeem them in his eyes. He was not sure which one he wanted to happen but he knew that they had a lot to account for regardless. It was not till the mentioning of Potana that Garruk winced, the Arco remembering he still needed to tell Kabocha about his encounter with her wayward sister. He had been putting it off but he knew he could not for much longer, his mind placing a mental note to tell her soon as she was calm again after this meeting.
It was not till the man with a monster on his face spoke again that he looked over at him, the Acro lifting his hand to give the man a awkward hand shake. It took a lot of effort for him to fake a smile for the man, his past experiences with politics doing little to help him now that it was a bit personal. "No trouble at all really and even if she was I wouldn't dare voice it out loud. Not sure if my nanny would kill me first or the men in the engineering quarters would but regardless your daughter is welcome anytime. " he replied as finally let go of the man's hand, the stiffness he had slowly melting away with the small talk. " You may call me Garruk Jagaimo and in all fairness it is cute when she starts spouting gibberish. I think the chief engineer named it munchkin overload?" he resonded, his mind set on being as friendly as he could if only for the time to being. It was not hard to notice the man examining the armor when he faltered, his eyes most likely already picking up the function of the armor. At the very least the man's gears were turning quickly as he examined the armor. "ahh It was dangerous for your daughter to travel around without any protection so the men back home built that armor for her. With her help I might add! Quite a talented daughter you have there!" he responded to the questions, his voice filled with enthusiasm as he explained the armor for him.

Kabocha cocked her head to the side at Garruk, surprised he was being so formal with her... dad. A pit in her stomach grew as she felt like this was only reinforcing the theory she had. Though she was able to snap away from it and fake a pout "Hey i'm not a munchkin!" Radisa piped in though with a very 'On Garruk's Side' arguement, being the shortest of the family, she sat next to garruk and leaned on him a bit, saying "Nah- I agree, Your munchkin city Kabo! This man's very smart, i'm sure he's got it down by definition!"
Renkai rolled her eyes and sighed, looking to Mizuna "I'm gonna go make dinner since we've got a full house and i'm sure dad's gonna be too busy talking to our guest to cook dinner" She waved to everyone as she started to head back to the house. Mizuna nodded and patted her shoulder as she headed back "Alright, you know i'm not exactly the housewife kind, so thanks" She turned her attention to Garruk as they discussed. She had something of a mixed expression as she looked at the armor and her husband.
Jagaimo nodded a bit and chuckled "Well i'm glad she's found her tribe so to say...! And I thank you for having her help with keeping her safe, when she wanted to set out on this journey I pled to my wife that it was far too dangerous, that Potana wasn't even remotely easy to find, and that she could get hurt- or even worse!" He gave his wife a side eye, but sighed as his mild annoyance melted away cause his wife gave him a cute look of 'who, me?'. When Jagaimo returned to attention he added "I'd love to talk to you about the details of the armor, and possible additions after dinner- would you like to join us for dinner?" He offered. The previous statement seeming a bit more- leading than first led on.

Garruk hated how he sounded but he really had no idea how to respond in such a tense mood, his past experience with other nobles making him fall back on a polite manner so speech and hidden meanings. It really was form a part of his life that he would sooner forget if given the option but for times like this it served him well for the most part, the careful speech allowing him to hide his emotions so that they do not show on his face. It was such experiences that allowed him to pick up on the strange expressions the patriarch and matriarch of the family where throwing around to each other, their expressions showing more then a mild bit of concern about the armor. Rather then cause a fuss the small lord allowed the sibling to lean on him him, his small frame the perfect size to lean on as he smiled up at Kabocha with a devilish grin.
With the exit of the oldest sister Garruk wondered what the mother did for a distraction, he mind wondering she was a scientist as well or if she was more like the typical with a love of fighting. She might hunt for the family maybe as their was plenty of game around for her to find and even a weak Saiyan would be great hunter on earth, the native life weak compared to their home planet. Realizing he might be staring a bit much he turned back to the father and listened to him. " You where not entirely wrong as our first meeting was indeed her finding a wild boar and me throwing it away. I had not seen she was a Saiyan yet and thought she was in trouble" he replied after the invite to dinner, the small Arcosian warping the truth as he gave off a hint of his irritation. The small warp of truth would no doubt make the parents question him but the small Arcosian quickly kept going not giving them a time to react to him. "Dinner? I am sure I can join for it and with my appetite I should not be all that hard to feed compared to a Saiyan. No dainty eaters in this house ya?" he said quickly, his small form moving towards the house as he gently moved the shortest sister off of him.
"Hmm more idea's for her armor would be a good idea, I have trust in my engineers but another pair of eyes on it won't hurt at all" he said as he moved with the family back to the house, a strained smile on his face as he looked at his friend. Even though he was a outsider he hated ducking around the truth like this but it was not like he could start throwing accusations around. Not with Kabocha's siblings around and for sure not before Kabocha had a chance to talk to her parents first. Who know's maybe there was a chance for them to work it out or at least for them to earn their daughters forgiveness, at worse a chance for closure.

Jagaimo's face lit up with surprise at the anecdote from Garruk about the boar. " A boar?!" he gave another look to his wife, who looked away and started to whistle unconvincingly before replying in defense of herself " okay, to be fair boars are further up north typically! I thought she was going to make a beeline to the west!" She said, cracking under the eye laser gaze her husband gave her. Jagaimo himself sighed and shrugged, looking back to Garruk. " Oh- no. Most of my children can somehow munch like they're black holes. I swear sometimes I wonder if i'm a true saiyan." He sighed and moved to the door, opening it wide and letting the family enter in. Kabocha walked in a bit- apprehensively, like it was a long time being away from home. It didn't- quite feel like a home as much to her as much as Brumal City was starting to. Though- if her theory is disproven, maybe that'll change in her mind. Yamu was there to greet her, making a small jab at her side with the comment " Hey tin can, you might wanna pull that off if people are gonna look at it." He reminded her, to which she nodded a bit absentmindedly as she clicked a button hidden from the plating. The armor hissed, and retracted more, and more till she was able to pull off particular segments and hand them to her mother. Though she was a little hesitant to hand over the last piece which was her right gauntlet. Though still she offered it up, and her mother recieved them with a nod " I'll keep this in your father's office for now hon. After dinner, your friend and your father can discuss the details of the upgrade. I'm sure they have a lot to talk about." There was a brief pause where she met Garruks eyes and nodded to him as she walked back towards the office. Her tail nervously swishing against the carpet. Kabocha sighed, now in her black workout tanktop and cargo pants she nicked got from engineering. Surprisingly her body was looking MUCH more defined! To the point you could start seeing a four pack on her abdomen and her biceps were starting to be visible. Which triggered visible confusion from her siblings. Who absolutely remembered her as being a bit of a stick. She felt- incredibly exposed. And in particular, a little less free as she had to repress a certain power level threshold to keep her growth from being as pain in her chest. Though Yamu's face showed a glimmer of pride in her little sister as he smacked her back lightly " Good to know you've worked out, beanpole." as he passed by and threw himself onto the couch. shouting down the hall after looking to the TV they had "Hey mom! Tourney's going on! It's a rerun of the classics!" to which there was an audible " oh shit really?!" coming from where you could assume an office was as she charged down the hall and threw herself onto the couch with Yamu. Radisa looked to the two and sighed, flopping to the ground " Damnit, I wanted to play games...!" She looked to her sister Kabocha and grabbed her leg, hanging onto it " Kaboooooo, I'm booooooored" To which her sister laughed a bit and pulled her around the house, trying to get her to let go. " Radi, come on...! Not in front of my friiiiend!" she looked to garruk with a wobbly smile " Sorry my family's kind of a lot to handle all at once!" She eventually freed her leg from Radisa who let out a quiet " nooooooo...!" that her personal taxi had left her side. Jagaimo wandered in and looked to Garruk. " Oh- If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you how you came to earth, and why? I haven't heard much about the state of arcose recently, but I've noticed there's been a few people who've been immigrating to Earth like we have." He asked, making just- general conversation. He was being as calm as garruk in this situation, though small ticks like his hand obscuring his mouth as he rest it in front, and on one crossed arm showed a sense of careful expression.
