BACKGROUND: Min grew up in and around a temple. Her entire life has been in pursuit of peace and enlightenment. She is a calm individual who believes entirely in equality between all. Having grown up in a fairly religious background, she had no real bonds with her parents, instead being taught more like a student than a child. The Temple of the White Lotus does not have many followers, nor is it a particularly notable location, tucked away from prying eyes so the practitioners of their ancient arts may remain undisturbed in their endless pursuit of peace. The people of the temple are of few regular Earthlings who tap into Ki, though even the strongest of the temple aren't that much stronger than regular humans. It is not an advanced order, more just a way of life. Min was raised on this way. As a holy place, they have oft times dealt with lesser demons, mostly in the past more than now. Min knows of demons, but unlike most who would subscribe to a holy path, she does not despise them. If they were to threaten the peace, she would fight them for the greater good but ultimately, she believes demons and humans could potentially live in peace many years from now. Although idealistic and probably wrong, this is a good judge of Min's character. She does not prejudge and believes regardless of species or origin, everyone can reach a state in which they live their best lives. Maybe it is her complete indoctrination to the way of her order that allowed her to reach what the monks at the temple would call true 'Enlightenment'. That is, actually being able to manipulate Ki (or Qi, to them, due to their lack of contact with any other martial artists.) and use it effectively. However, it was shortly after being named the new caretaker and head of the temple that a demon was freed and slaughtered everyone but her. Again, she holds no grudge. This is a double-edged sword. The 'enlightenment' Min has received makes her appear often emotionless or far TOO tranquil. She does not get angry or sad or even happy. She merely is, she accepts the flow of life. This may make interacting with her feel very strange, the release from emotion and the vices of life make her feel incompatible with certain people. Now, she looks after the abandoned and deserted halls of her order and ventures out on long journeys to spread the practice. She teaches others her fighting style and tries to spread the word of Qi. Min is a travelling monk, one with a demon to catch and hopefully put to justice in the name of her way. She had always wanted to see the galaxy, but due to her obligations to her family and way, she never really got to. But upon reaching the peak of the users of Qi in the temple and their subsequent slaughter, she is free to bring the teachings of Dharma to the galaxy and absorb the culture. Her ultimate goal is simply to keep the world happy, a noble one. Bringing evildoers to justice may sound cool, but it is merely what Min believes to be the natural way of life. The pursuit of strength itself is a bit repulsive to the monk, although that is technically her ultimate goal as well, putting her at odds with Saiyans. The natural talent and superiority of Arcosians too aggravates the Earthling, as power is something you work for yet gain as a reward for reaching a higher state, by following your own 'path'. Needless bloodshed and rage do not sit well with her, so she hopes that on her journeys she may temper the spirits of many and mediate conflicts. She knows she is not strong enough, but by living through the path her temple taught her, she believes one day she can build the foundation of an everlasting peace. Even if she only contributes a tiny bit to it, Min wants to be a part of the massive plan that spans generations into the future, where fighting and war don't threaten any part of the world, and are merely a means to stop people who want to cause only chaos. However, her previously sheltered lifestyle in which she was only able to see one approach to life no longer grasps her. Meaning upon travelling and meeting many people, mayhaps the monk will change their goals or even their way, even if it seems unlikely due to how much she values the strength and tranquillity it has brought. The scroll she carries has various teachings scrawled in an ancient language, allowing her to teach others of the forms and stances used by the White Lotus. The Scroll is imbued with a sort of mystical magic that makes it impossible to open unless it senses Min's Ki. It is ultimately her own companion and she uses it to learn new techniques when she feels ready to attempt them.
TECHNIQUES:
OFFENSIVE/DEFENSIVE TECHNIQUES: [A1] Indra's Thunder - Min channels her Qi and gives it the aspect of lightning. As such, she may empower her blows with crackling thunder or fire beams of sheer energy from her finger tips. This allows her to do an attack that is equal to 33% of her current PL.
SUPPORT TECHNIQUES: [SU1] Garuda's Wings - Increasing her speed for a brief moment via channeling Ki (Qi) to create large wings of energy which push her, she kicks up dust and moves out of the way of oncoming attacks leaving an afterimage in her wake. This allows her to dodge attacks within 100% of her current PL.
UTILITY TECHNIQUES: [UT] Virupaksa's Eyes - Through intense training and enlightenment, Min has not only awoken to using her own energy but she has gained the ability to feel out and sense the energy of others. Although she can always faintly sense it, she chooses to not actually 'see' energy signatures most of the time as she finds it distracting. If she requires to sense out the energy of a particular being, she will channel and her eyes will cloud over an icy blue, showing that she has 'enhanced' her energy sensing capabilities and is consciously sensing now. Doesn't actually do anything differently from Energy Sense.
FORMS:
Heaven Sign: Brilliance [X2 Temporary.] - For as long as she can remember, Min has had the ability to raise her power beyond her limits. By channelling the secrets of her ancestors and being a true follower of the White Lotus, she can reach an enhanced state of mind. Her aura becomes a less visible and calmer white, instead of the raging fire that auras usually are, it is a tranquil set of waves flowing around her. Her beads will light up with excess Ki.
