Friest had been working hard on starting some shops and restaurants across the earthlings city's, the Arcosian doing everything in his power to provide the capital required for such efforts. At the very least man power was not the issue as many of the aliens under Garruk had been more then willing to work for very little, the refugees more then a little bit eager to get out of the cramp corners of the ship. The fact that it also helped earn some money was only a bonus at this point, the refugees desire to do some thing instead of just waiting resulted in more then just cabin fever. However after getting the rights to use some of the human brand names for their shops Friest was interested in opening his own brand, a corporation under his and Garruk's name alone. He had at first struggled on deciding on just what they could sell that would entice the earthlings, their desires were unlike most aliens. For the most part they had little desire to grow into powerful fighters and even the ones that did train did so without learning to harness their energy making them still quite weak. However he finally had a idea to create a gaming center for the humans, a center that would not only sell most of the human consoles but it would also sport his brand new Virtual pods. The pods used high tech scanners to scan the nerves of the rider to create commands in the gaming world, the size of the machine making the machine only available at the gaming centers.
It had taken some time for people to take a shine to the center however, the alien personal doing much to attract attention as well as keep them away. After a two months of only a few customers Friest has lucked out when a celebrity had decided to check it out, the experience leaving such good impression on the man that he endorsed it. Now they were up to their necks in customers and not enough pods to go around for all the players, a fact that got them no small amount of complaints. The two most popular games being Mech Wars and Fantasy Wars, the two games allowing both the Science fiction genre and the fantasy genre to be explored by players. Right now with the small store size these two games where very popular due their ease to just load in and start playing. With the success they have had it seemed like they would be expanding soon to other locations, a fact that had not escaped other game developers of earth as they clamored to get in on the action as well. With promise of funding to create new games form their company's their was a lot of promise for the new company and the new games the earthlings had mentioned had even him interested. Fantasy rancher was one that he really wanted to try with Garruk some time, the idea to be able to raise monsters form the wild to compete with others was a appealing escape for the Arcosian.
The day had been going by fast so far and he had only been required to step in a few times when a few customers had nearly started a fight over who got a turn next in the pod, the somewhat tall Arcosian only having to shift into his form to stop a fight form happening in the first place. Standing behind the counter he waited for the next wave of workers to arrive so he could have his lunch, the ticking of clock mocking him by going slower when he was watching it go by. So deep in his own thought on where he should go to eat the man did not notice any new customers enter the building, his mind deciding if he wanted more sea food or a burger.

With all his travelling around the world, Vangreth had seen a good portion of human’s general lifestyle. He had started to watch a few movies, eat in a few restaurants, and even played a few sports (Mostly thrown since he would most likely destroy ninety percent of the competition with his speed and strength alone). Earth’s society was highly based on entertainment, and since this concept was completely inexistent on Muko, the alien found it incredibly interesting to explore in depth. In his latest adventure, the Mukojin had heard of a shop that was hosting virtual games, using your brain to project yourself in another world… now that, was interesting!
The man arrived around mid-day, and the shop was, from what Vangreth could see, completely overrun, and there was barely any space to even move in the center itself. There were lines everywhere, people seemed to have some wild fun and even some getting violent when they were told that their turn was over… there was no way this could be that fun, was it? The shear amplitude of the commotion caused by the game pods were enough to get his attention though, and Vangreth quickly got in line to try one of those.
While waiting for his turn, the alien couldn’t help but notice that one of the manager of the place seemed to be… well… an Arcosian! What a peculiar thing to see here, he had heard stories about how Arcosian were control-freaks, really powerful aliens that use to run the whole universe far before this era. Perhaps this one just really liked games? That would not be the weirdest thing that the alien would have seen on Earth after all.
Being tall and quite strange in look, Vangreth was making a few head turn, and some people seemed to mistrust him, although he was not doing anything. This however, started a chain of event that would draw even more attention on him, how unfortunate…
One of the angry guys, leaving the pod area after his turn, seemed to be a little unbalanced, and bumped into Vangreth, who stood firm, which sent the man to the ground.
‘’ Hey you freak! Watch where you are standing! ‘’
The sore loser went, getting back up and coming up close to Vangreth’s face, visibly creating unease for the alien.
‘’ I am sorry mister, but I have been standing here for nearly an hour; I think I would know if my placement was inappropriate. Perhaps you should mind your own footing?’’
While Vangreth did not mean anything mean by that, it seemed to have angered the man who proceeded to cut him in line, pushing himself between him and the next person.
‘’ Well, I guess I’ll take your place as retribution, so go back in line!’’ He said while smugishly smirking at Vangreth.
Voices were raised, people started exclaiming their disapprobation and somehow, it seemed like this situation could degenerate into chaos in very little time.
For Vangreth, his was just horrible. He did not want to gather so much attention, he just wanted to try what seemed to bring so much fun to a lot of people, and now there he was, struggling in a crowd that was starting to break line, push people around and scream when they lost their places.
With a good will that would most certainly be taken as aggression, Vangreth began to gently grab people, lift them and put them back into were they belong in the line, which only helped in creating more chaos around.
‘’ E-everyone just… stay in line okay? One more person in the line won’t cause that much trouble, will it?’’
Boy was he wrong…

Friest was quickly waved over by one of the staff, his employee pointing to one of the pods opening indicating there was a problem. Quickly lifting off the ground he closed the distance nearly instantly, the blue Arcosain looking to see another customer being disoriented after playing the game. It was a common enough problem even with a normal vr head set that the earthlings had but the new pod's only made problem worse but thankfully after using the pod a few times they would get use to it. Unfortunately till the customer learned to adapt it would be a uncomfortable experience even if it only lasted a moment, the out of body experience ending nearly as quickly as it started.
Floating down to the pod Friest quickly started to help the customer out, letting them use them as a way to keep themselves stable as they held his shoulder. "Don't worry it happens to most the first time they use it but its only passing. After a few more times in it you won't suffer the issue every again" he assured them, knowing very well it was only a passing issue. When he expanded the store he would need look into way to stop this form happening at all, perhaps if he increased the time it took to power down so they got use to walking around normally again?
It was then he heard the nose ripple though the crowd, the unpleasant mutters filled the room as it slowly descended into chaos. Quickly sitting the customer down Friest leaped into the air to see if he could not defuse the problem, a small sigh passing his lips at the thought having to end another issue. They really needed to expand and soon, the fights where becoming all too common. Looking over the room he saw the large alien trying to lift the struggling humans and place them back in line of all things,a truly strange thing sight.
Taking a deep breath Friest waited just a moment before he let out a loud bellow, his Ki being laced though his shout to make it fill the room and drown out all other noise "Enough!". It was a trick he learned a long time ago to be heard in a room filled with angry merchants but it had long since proved be invaluable in more then just quelling angry merchants. "Everyone who is interested in using the pods please get back into line, I will sort this out in just a moment" he ordered as he pointed his hand at the crowed, his voice still bellowing loudly. It was at this moment he notices a few of the figures still causing trouble, the owner of the store scowls only growing deeper. Rather then yell again the Acrosian pointed at them and used his ki to stop them and lift them into the air, the three surprised earthling letting out small cries as they were moved to the door way and gently thrown outside.
"You three need to cool your head, please think about what has happend and know you are welcome to come back tomorrow if you plan to behave. " the said loudly so that everyone could hear him, the Arcosian then turning to Vangreth as he scowled again. He had planed to kick him out as well for picking up the other customers but when he had focused on him he had felt no ki form him, just a blank space where a person should be. It had Spooked Friest more then a little and figured trying to lift some one like that suddenly might not be a good idea. Moving forward till he was right next to the man he waited for him look at him before she spoke "Please refrain form picking up other customers if you could sir, most of them are not use to having their personal space intruded on.". It felt kinda weak but the Acrosian could not make heads or tails of this figure before him. He was no fighter and if it came to it then Freist would be lucky to be able to run away much less fight him off.

It took a while for Vangreth to actually begin to put some form of line out of this chaotic mess, but he had not even realized that it was mostly due to the manager’s help sending away 3 of the most agitating person out. Although he could hear his voice, the mukojin did not notice that the arcosian was directly paying attention to his part of the mayhem. Some people were trying to cut back in line, but the situation had mostly been controlled and Vangreth believed that he could finally go back to waiting in peace for his turn… well… that was not going to happen after all.
As he looked around for a moment, he noticed everyone was looking at him, and after a second look around, he finally turned his gaze up to see that the arcosian manager was floating next to him, and when his eyes met his, he began to speak to him. While he was kind of expecting a thanks for having helped dealing with the previous crisis, Vangreth was a little surprise to actually get scolded like some of the other, although he didn’t seem to get the normal ‘out with telekinesis’ treatment, which somehow reassured him that he had not done that much wrong.
‘’ Sorry if I inconvenienced your customers in such a manner, I didn’t mean to cause unrest, I assure you.’’
Saying that, Vangreth seemed much more reserved than before, kind of like a child that was caught somewhere he was not supposed to be. Not that he was all threatening to begin with, beside his somewhat scary appearance as an alien from an unknown world, he was fairly frail, about the height and mass of your regular athlete on Earth, albeit a little taller. Scratching the back of his head, he followed up what he was saying.
‘’ My name is Vangreth by the way, if you ever need to address me again. I believe I should be the one calling you sir, as I figured you were the one in charge of this place. I can’t wait to try on your attraction, it really seems to be a unique experience.’’
With those words, the alien would give the arcosian a bright smile, obviously something that he didn’t master fully as it would look like he was forcing pretty hard on parts of it. Of course, he was only trying to show his appreciation in a more ‘earthly’ fashion, like he had seen people do at amusement parcs and festivals.
After a moment, and a quick scan using his ki-sensing ability, Vangreth would have sized-up the arcosian and would see a form of... unrest... from his host.
'' Oh right! With your power, you must be able to read ki-signature, aren't you? I have to clarify something. I am not trying to hide my signature, it is simply in my people's nature to have no signature at all. I understand it can be a little unsetlling so if you have any interogations, I can try and answer them to the best of my abilities.''
The man was speaking honestly, although he didn't know on what foot to dance with those information, he was coming off as very suspicious to his own host, but there was really no other way than full honesty in his mind.

Despite the fact he was watching the man for any kind of deception, the strange figure before him was still a mystery to him. He knew he could not be all bad or at the very least the figure before he tried to follow the rules , a clear indicator by the fact he had tried to get everyone back in line even if he had done it in a strange way. His apology also helped explain that he was not quite use to being around people or at least around earthlings.
"Well you where trying to help so its understandable. If something of that nature happens again here come grab a staff member alright?" he said after a moment, the Acrosian unable to tell just how much the man was telling the truth but with no way to tell he decided to take it at face value. At the very least the man had not meant to cause any trouble. Swishing his tail he turned and pointed to a machine a bit away form the rest of them, the line in front of it nearly nonexistent as only one young girl stood in front of it. Her eager form bouncing in place as the person in front of her got out and let her, the girl all but jumping into the pod with a eager squeal.
"That pod is for the first timers, with the lines like they are I thought it best everyone got a least a single try without the lines. If I can get them hooked on it they will come back ya?" He explained, his words carrying a small bit of slang at the very end much to his annoyance. Garruk did that when he was excited or was no longer keeping his guard up, the smaller Acrosian apparently wearing off on him in some ways. "Is there any of the games your interested in? I suggest browsing through them while you wait, with a limit on the amount of time you are allowed to game at the moment its a good idea to know what you want to enjoy with your time." he questioned, the man still trying to figure out why he could not sense the figure in front of him. [Perhaps the man was a android of some kind? it would explain his awkward behavior as well, a pure machine model rather then a organic turned android?]
All his theory's were taken apart with the figures next words, his explanation of his race doing wonders in explaining more then just the lack of ki to sense. It would explain his social awkwardness as well, aliens tended to have many different social graces. "No no interrogations are not needed Vangreth" he replied with a bit of a frown, the word interrogation putting him off a bit. He figured at this stage the man did not mean anything by it but it still made him thing he was forcing the man to comply with him, a small bit of guilt hitting him despite knowing otherwise.

After he was cleared of suspicion as far as he was concerned, having visibly shaken Garruk a bit with his frontal approach to things, which was pretty common for him, he began to ponder on the question the Arcosian had asked him; the one about the game he wanted to play.
Sure, he didn't know much about all of this at all, but he had a grip on the concept of it all, and that would allowed him to make an enlighten decision, but only if he would try and make order in his reasoning, putting way too much effort in a simple 'what game to play' moment.
In his head, he began to eliminate games based of what he could actually do himself; there was a flying simulator... no. A fighting game? Nah, he could take care of that on his own... sports were a bit more complex, but he figured he could still try those outside, he'd only have to try a little harder for it. Left was a few games, but those who caugh his interest were a fast-paced shooter and a spaceship-based shoot them up, and he did always wonder what actually controlling a spaceship would be like!
'' I think I made my decision actually.'' He would say, his eyes glimmering with anticipation contrasting with his fairly stoic facial expression. Now, it was only a matter of waiting until the little female Earthling finished with her own turn at it; and those turns only seemed to get longer with every step Vangreth was taking towards the pod! Impatience was not something the alien was dealing with a lot, so he wasn't very good at hiding it, stepping in place and hopping like a children waiting to unwrap his gift, not that he knew what that would feel like.
While waiting, he was also thinking on what the Arcosian said, and without any real transition, he exclaimed suddenly. '' OH! I GET IT! If people are hooked on this 'pod' thing, and you're the only one who have those, then they have to come back here and give you their earnings! That way, you assure a sustainable self-gathering ressource supply. Very ingenious indeed! '' pretty loudly, nodding to himself while scratching his chin.
Finally, the human child got out of the pod, visibly shaken by the experience, but judging by the smile on her face and her quick decision to go for the longer lines without a second of hesitation! Now, Vangreth was face to face with the machine, and quickly walked to it, trying to make sense of the machine he had in front of him. He slowly figured it out and entered the pod, which would close on him as he placed himself correctly for it to activate.
Now, it was time for him to finally know what kind of experience that machine was making people live. With visibly anticipation, he waited for the some kind of direction as to what he had to do next to start.

The owner quickly moved the girl to a nearby table where what must have been her older sister was waiting for her, a small basket of food and snacks already waiting for her. It never hurt to be extra friendly with the guests and more so with first timers as such a simple gesture made all the difference in a return customers, plus it never hurt to suggest a few of the shops limited food items for some extra profit. With a friendly wave the Acrosian would come back to Vangreth when he was sure everything was settled with the two.
"Well that is one way to put it" he replied to Vangreth, a small smile forming on his face at the strange way of talking. Now that he had spent a small amount of time around the man he was starting to get use to the way the man talked, his words almost child like to him. He was very much like a child who had learned everything form books but never really experienced it, the many mistakes that Friest had seen him make were nearly entirely on the social level. He wondered if that was due to his races culture or if his races biological mind did not allow them to learn such ques. Well as long as he meant no harm then Friest was not gonna pry.
Watching him get into the pod Friest jut nodded and let the machine do the rest, the complex machine working almost entirely on neural sensors making controlling them very easy. He was worried that the machine might not realize he was there due to his lack of a ki signature but it lit up like normal and closed itself when he was finally inside, a clear signal that he had in fact detected a user. While he was content to watch over the strange being a shout form the front of the store caught his attention, another rowdy customer needing a manager it seemed. Walking away Friest let the machine take care of the rest while he got back to work, the blue alien letting a sigh out as he got back to settling disputes.
Inside the pod all light slowly dimmed into nothingness before a small menu would appear showing all the available games, with many of them grayed out indicating they would be released in the future. Detecting his desires the pod would bring up three titles, two of them with space ships locked in battle and the final one with a picture of just the stars. Quickly moving though the pod showed trailers for all three of them, a small short video allowing him to see just what each one was about.
The first was called Nebula wars, the trailer showing intense dog fights between many different space craft of smaller size. The goal of the game was to destroy the opponents carrier that was hidden away in the nebula, a pvp game mode with as many as three hundred ships on the field at the same time. The player was giving the option of using three types of craft to start with, the Hunter who was meant to hunt other players down with their crazy speed, a dragon which was a heavily armed bomber craft designed to rain hell on their opponents carrier, and finally the Chimera who was a scout ship that could disable systems like radar or shields. Each battle would earn the player money to get new kind of ships and out fit them to their custom tastes, granting the each a unique ship of their own design.
Frontier wars on the other hand was fleet combat game, the main purpose of the game was to control large fleets of capital ships to take over entire star systems. Much like the previous title the player was able to earn money and customize their personal fleet to include all kinds of ships, form large assault ships fully decked out in the biggest guns to ships designed to attack the power source of the opponents ships. With the combination of over 3 million ships possible the possibility were quite endless when making a fleet, with details including if the paint jobs of each ship. It was not unheard of for players to spend hours just designing ships to play with alone, many of them making sure each and every ship at the perfect paint job.
The final game was very different then the first two which focused on pvp. Instead if focused on a more relaxed approach with players being given a freighter to explore the vastness of space at their own pace, their ability to shape the stars nearly unlimited. With such a free roam the players could decide to be a trader, miner, construction worker or even a war ship. With every ship but the starter ship made entirely by the players the game allowed for a entirely free roam experience, the galaxy free for the players to craft alone. With no goals but to play the game known as Galaxy would evolve entirely based on how the players played it, each update only allowing the players to have more options as time went by.

While inside the pod, Vangreth seemed to be a little agitated; he could somewhat feel that the machine was analysing his neural activity, and it seemed there was a lot happening on there, and his avatar was trembling and having some sporadic movements. He would need to focus extra hard on maintaining his concentration if he was to figure out this whole new experience! He was not paying too much attention to anything else he could feel even going as far as shutting his ki-sensing ability to really redirect all of his attention to this one task that he wanted to experience at its fullest.
Finaly, he figured it out and got his metaphorical hand on the control, at least for now. He glanced over the three trailers available for the spaceship games this new system had to offer and quickly made his decision! He visibly didn't have the time to fully enjoy the gameplay of the third game, which seemed to be much more of a full experience you'd have to own the machine for, and he certainly didn't have the strategic mind of even playing Frontier War to begin with, he had just enough brain power for his own control. So Nebula it was! With a confident smile, he picked the game he wanted to play for this limited time and instantly went to 'quick play' because he had no idea what the different game modes would mean and didn't want to sit up more of his time just reading description!
He ended up in a mode called 'skirmish' which sounded good enough for him, and picked the Hunter as his starting ship: The design of which just resonated much more with him. The game started and quick enough, Vangreth began to realize why this was being so popular! As far as the illusion went, Vangreth just became a dashing pilot in this huge spacewar and was motivated to take down the opposing forces and allow his teamates to blow up some kind of mothership that was hidden away in the space clouds, giving this wonderful background of colors.
Immediatly, it became apparent that Vangreth's reflexes as a fighter outside of the game, paired with the reaction time and frame per seconds of this machine, gave him an huge advantage in the game; immediatly, he began picking up the command and was already racking up a few kills! Good thing he picked the Hunter too, since had he been expected to do anything but chase the ennemy and take then down, such as follow objectives or such, he would have been the worst player on his team. The game quickly picked up in pace and the Mukojin was ready to push that experience foward.
After a while, a voice in-game interupted Vangreth's killing spree.
Warm-up over. The game will start in 5 seconds.
''Oh.''
While he didn't fully grasp what was going on, the game restarted him and his team back to their own carrier and seemed to launched once more! Immediatly, Vangreth became lost while his teamates began to shout directive, directions and plan up their attack! Of course, this was not the case for the alien, who barely could understand regular people speaking with regular term, so the gaming dialect was absolutely lost on him. He just went around in a random direction and began to do his thing, which was suddenly much less efficient! While he was still good at the game, the ennemy always seemed to be in group, allowing them to destroy him fairly easily! What was worst, his teamates, at least those who were in the same squadron as him, began to visibly get irritated by the fact that he was just getting killed, even if he did manage to get a few kills along the way!
The Alien could see that he didn't have much time left to his trial and simply kept doing his thing. He did get better at taking multiple ennemies at the same time, even winning a few of those encounters toward the end, but didn't really contribute to the game as a whole and ended up losing his first ever game of Nebula, what a sad story.
When the big red word 'defeat' appeared on the screen, there was a fade to black and the pod he had played in opened, revealing once again the outside world to Vangreth. Being a little too immersive, his first reaction when the pod opened was to try and go foward with the spaceship he didn't have instead of using his legs, which prompty made his body compensate by actually flying, sending him into a collision with the top of the pod and straigt to the ground, where he face-planted. Annoyed, he tried getting back up, not looking at the few person that could see him, laughing at him politely. He could see it still, after his face-plant, those big red letters forming the word 'defeat', but this time, he didn't lose in the game.
Now that he was on his legs, he looked around for the manager, visibly shaken by the experience.

With the rush hour over Friest was finally able to have a chance to relax a bit, the lines slowly becoming smaller and smaller till there was only a few people waiting for each pod. Some time in the hour or two while Vangreth was enjoying his turn he come up with the idea of handing out cards so people did not have to wait in lines and could wander around the establishment during the wait. He really should have done that form the start but with sudden popularity they were caught unprepared, the famous actor really doing a lot in advertising his store. At least now everyone could wonder the store and look at the other merchandise they had to offer, or even play a little on one of the earth styled gaming consoles in their mini arcade.
He had long helped the two girls with their meal and had even asked them to fill out a survey on what the store could do in the future to make it better. Predictably the first suggestion was more pods, a suggestion that he agreed with. The other one the two siblings had suggested had been a interesting thought on how to get people interact with the virtual world by using phone apps. For example allowing them to sell or buy in game items to idea's on having players able to interact in less detailed roles for the game. That way even players who were not at the pod could join their friends, it was idea that had merit but he was not sure how it would work with the earths internet speeds. Still he thanked them for the suggestions before giving them a coupon for some free ice cream before the left and went to check on the rest of the store.
It was then that he noticed that reserved pod finally opened to reveal the alien form before, his antics in trying to get out of the pod only made him wince. That crash was unlikely to hurt anything more then his pride but it would no doubt be embarrassing. Quickly moving forward Freist tried to hurry over the figure as he got up in a unsteady manner, he made a mental note to have the pods display a long warning when the player got out to prevent any more of such occurrences. Even though most got use to it the second or third time they got into the pod there was always a few who did not.
"You alright there sir? I hope that fall was not to bad for you and sorry we have not had anyone who could fly ever get in one yet." he apologized, a white lie on his part as both him and Garruk had tried out the machine. With him only being unsteady after the first time and the little monster that was his partner simply moving around like nothing was wrong. He should have known better then to not add some kind of warning to pod but it was to late now. "I hope at the very least you enjoyed the game? You seemed to do quite well for a first timer" he said with a small bit of praise in his words as he pointed to a screen above him, the small black television allowing others to watch some of the games and sure enough there was a replay of the last battle with him flying around. He had in fact done reasonably well and only his lack of teamwork was a issue, with little gaming experience he had no idea where to be to help the most.

While what just happened would be pretty humiliating for a lot of people, Vangreth was simply not one to be embarassed... mostly because he still lacked that self-awareness that would get him that kind of feelings. This whole moment was just him regaining his senses in his eyes, and nothing more.
The sight of Friest shook him a little in a good way, really setting him back into reality while processing what he was hearing. This whole experience had been way too powerful and realistic for him to simply exit that 'world' as easy as someone who's tried it a few time or even grew with it.
Vangreth smiled lightly to the assumed manager. '' Oh, do not worry about me. Your floor was much more likely to be damaged than I was even hurting myself. I would have paid for the reparation of course, but it seems to be okay.'' He spoke, still in this kind of weird over-explaining way if his.
Then, the alien's attention was turned towards the screen displaying the last game; he could remember being in that ship and doing some of these manoeuvres! Truly brilliant this technology was, there was no doubt remaining in Vangreth's head about the reason this was so popular. The praises received from the owner simply brought a wider smile to his face as he turned back to look at the Arcosian in charge, nodding to him politely. '' Thank you! I was not sure about doing well since I seemed to cause a lot of unease within my teamates, but I certainly had a lot of fun playing it! I would like to try the other games later, if I get the chance! '' He would say, his voice betraying excitement about as well as you'd expect from a 200 year old manchild.
While he didn't really see time flying as he was playing the game, Vangreth noticed both that the natural light had dimmed considerably, and the lines all around seemed much smaller than what they were when he got in; just how long was he in that pod anyway? This question bounced around in his head as he glanced at the changing customers, getting a little older with the hours as the kids would go back home. The alien quickly glanced at his gravity device on his wrist, which was able to tell time along other things while not active, and seemed shocked.
'' Wow! Time flies quick here! Uh... is there anything else you'd recommend I do in this place? I think I've experienced the best, but I'm still curious about the place, and people seems to be enjoying themselves even out of the pod so...'' He simply asked to the helpful Arcosian.

"I don't think I would be all that worried about the floor if it became damaged by someone falling down" he corrected. It was more likely a lawsuit would cost far more then the floor, the labor laws that the humans had were far more restricting then most of the worlds he had down business at. It had been hard to decide to open up shop here on earth just due to the labor laws, the profit margin not being really worth it in the end. It was only due to the fact they wanted to increase the good will towards Burmal city that they had decided to go though with it.
"If you having trouble understanding tactics or need help with the game their are forums online for you look though. On top of that we have some hand held that allow everyone to browse the forums or clan servers so they can prepare for the game while they wait. " he suggested after a moment, his thoughts on how Vangreth's performance was great on a personal level but his team tactics where lacking. Looking though formations would allow him to coordinate with his teammates and it would be easy to believe if he kept playing that Vangreth might become a ace pilot in no time. "It would also help you with upgrading your craft to a personal level if you plan on playing in the future, as fine tuning a craft can be hard for first timers." he added after a moment before turning back to the rest of the shop.
"As for other services the shop provides I can say we have rights to sell all the earthlings normal gaming systems form console to Personal computer. We have a small selection of food and drinks for those waiting for their turn. Or even after your done as I hear it helps some people with the motion sickness they can get after leaving the pod." he offered before looking up at the gaming screen again, his eye catching the time of day on the bottom right corner. It was close to closing and it would be very unlikely for anyone to get another game in before they closed leaving fewer options then before. "As for the moment we mostly specializing in gaming consoles but are looking to expand on that in the future. With you being a alien what do you think we could add to the store to make it more appealing to earthlings and aliens alike?" he finally asked, his mind already understanding that Vangreth was not like most aliens but one might never know what one might think if asked.
Looking around Friest wondered himself what could they add beside simply more pods to make this a real gathering place for more then just gamers. Perhaps a movie theater using a head set so one could also enjoy the latest videos in 3d? He knew a lot of his workers where aliens and more often then not went to watch movies after their shift, others simply going to a bar afterwards.

There were defitnitively words coming out of the Arcosian mouth, words like forum, servers, browsing and online... yeah, those words did not rang a single bell in Vangreth's mind. He simply went and nodded along the conversation just like he understood everything that was said like any normal human would at that point.
'' Yeah, maybe I'll try that next time! It does sound like something one would want to execuse in order to get better performances regarding the gaming devices.'' He would say, still nodding along and, well... obviously just saying words to pretend he was following along just fine.
The alien, however, did listen closely when the topic of the other services came. When Vangreth find himself owner of a house, he might want to buy one of these gaming system, as it seems to be really good for time killing, and perhaps he could pick up a thing or two about Earth's culture along the way. The Muko-Jin looked over the plenty of choice in term of gaming plateforms and eyed then for a while, trying to just figure out which one would be better for him, without any context of knowledge about them what so ever, but he would not ask for that, of course.
When he was asked what could be added or improved, Vangreth turned his attention back to the Arcosian with a content smile before speaking up.
'' While I got to admit I don't really get how all of this is possible, there is something I think could spark interest in both Earthling and outsiders alike.''
He paused for a moment, visibly trying to put what he had in mind into words.
'' Like, I haven't seen a place like this before, run by an alien and such. So perhaps some specialties from other planets and culture could be implemented? For example, perhaps there is a fruit on Arcose that could make a good drink? Would give Arcosian a little taste of home and everyone else something exotic to discover... but perhaps this is not the place for such a thing?''
Admitting the fault in his idea, he shrugged to himself. '' But that would also go along with your ingenious strategy of retaining a technology only you have to force people into coming here to experience it. Having some exclusive anything sounds like a good idea in itself, doesn't it? So stacking on those can't be bad.''

Friest had little idea what to expect form the strange alien before him however it seemed to him that he expected perhaps to much, the aliens suggestions where rather mundane. However their were also good idea's under normal circumstances, alien culture did make humans curious to say the least but with some much happening on the galactic stage at the moment most humans were quite afraid of them. A few of the more adventurousness ones still asked questions about their home worlds, their questions mundane such as what is life like there or the much rarer question on why they had left in the first place. Why leave a much more advance civilization to come to earth of all places, a innocent question that was more often then not avoided by the workers. Most of them unwilling to explain just how violent the rest of the galaxy was, the World trade fleet or one of the many other space pirates groups a constant threat. Only the most developed worlds avoided the constant raids by the many groups in the galaxy and their own history was no different. Those form the House Brumal fleeing their own people after a raid and the Nameks fleeing their now destroyed home world, the off world workers did not want reinforce the humans fears no matter how justified it was.
"hmm Acrosians prefer bitter fruit and drinks, the human palate more often then not disagreeing with them. Even if it was popular the trade required it far more costly then its worth at the moment, trade lines are rather tricky off world at the moment." he finally replied after a moment of thought, the blue Arco diverting the conversation away form culture to foods. It was true as trade was difficult for them at the moment, with only a couple of space worth vessels they could not squander it on fruit no matter how badly he missed a freshly made Deltonue. He even felt bad for getting Garruk hooked on them just before their stores ran out of the fruit, his partner having a foul mood for weeks when they had first ran out. "However I guess with the technology edge we can work something out with the earthlings, I imagine our group won't be able to keep up with demand. If I franchise the technology and store I could get earthlings to open their own stores with the brand." he said as he thought out loud, the merchant him going over the possibilities.
"Well sir thank you for the input! It was a pleasure to talk to you but I think its best if I got back to helping the staff get ready to close for the night. Is there anything else I can help you with before I go?" he asked after another moment, his eyes looking at the staff slowly herding people away form the pods so they could start maintenance on them, the machines requiring a lot of fine tuning every night to work correctly. It was a problem as the maintenance on the pods alone was nearly more then the rest of the building, a task that was impressive due just how messy humans were. Much like snails they left messes where ever they went, many of them thinking they should for no other reason then they could. If there was nothing left to help him with Friest would turn to leave, his blue form heading into the back to go collect the engineers needed to maintain the pods.

Vangreth was used to getting lost in people's word by now, and when Friest began to talk about costly trades, the Muko-Jin would simply nod accordingly; he did not have to understand the full thing in order to get what the Arcosian was telling him after all. He also somewhat understood that Friest wanted to spread the pod technology so that other places like his could he opened and spread wider into the world, which sounded like a good idea. Overall, Friest seemed to be a good person, albeit a little... cryptic... at least for Vangreth; but he would still be coming back here for more of that pod experience!
'' Well, I'm glad I could help with those suggestions, although I doubt I sparked any new ideas in your head. '' He would simply say, his eyes exploring the surroundings aimlessly.
He shook his head, realising people were mostly leaving the store, he would nod politely to Friest, who was himself about to leave.
'' Well, it was a pleasure meeting you sir! '' He simply said before heading to the exit.
While walking towards the door, he felt a bit of sadness within him; as he had come to realize, most of the staff here was Arcosian, if not all of it! It seemed as if they were accepted on Earth, and Vangreth attributed that acceptation to the fact that they seemed to bring something over with them, some sort of 'peace gift'... perhaps that was the thing he was missing? To finally enter Earth's society without being looked upon weirdly and theated like a ticking bomb all the time... but there was nothing from his world that he could bring here, not something that would improve this planet at least...
He left the store, and into the street, thinking about this.
