Kayen had not known what to expect from traveling between dimensions, it was a new experience for her, the closest was perhaps the Stormbreaker’s Critical Drive as Barb liked to call it, the high powered mode that could be used to achieve genuinely insane speeds that required a whole hell of a lot of maths and science that Kayen was nowhere near prepared to understand let alone pay attention to Barb explain. Suffice it to say they were technically pushing the ship to the absolute limits of what should be feasible for most physical matter to travel at. It was also immensely uncomfortable during operation. But after this? Oh Kayen would practically WELCOME the discomfort of the Critical Drive compared to the SEARING PAIN of breaking into Heaven, it was about ‘half way’ into her trip between dimensions that Kayen realized there might be some very genuine risks based around someone as bad as her entering a dimension intended only for the pure GOOD of heart by force. Eventually after what felt like AGES Kayen was dropped in the middle of a flowery field, everything hurt and she was immensely frustrated as she dragged herself to her feet. No time to waste on writhing in pain, while more immediately intense as it felt like the pain was affecting her entire being the actual damage the travel had done was minimal compared to what she had not long ago survived against Carro. Kayen tapped her scouter and found the device was trying desperately to recalibrate itself, rolling her eyes Kayen took off expanding her energy sensing abilities to their absolute limit in search of a familiar power signature, she picked up quite a few interesting ones that were entirely unfamiliar, and one that WAS but was also not who she was seeking. Her search eventually took her to the sky above the flowery fields as she picked up a faint familiar feeling, ascending higher into the literal heavens Kayen eventually found its ‘space’ occupied by small clusters of tiny planetoids, some much further out but a few were near what she assumed to be the main ‘heaven’. One in particular held the signature she sought and the Queen rushed to it, Kayen knocked on the door a few times, waited entirely too short an amount of time before becoming impatient and simply putting her weight into shouldering the door open to enter the strangely dark house. Was it ‘night’ here? Was Nashua asleep? She could see a light further in the house and began heading in its general direction. “Oi! Nashua!”

Nashua sat, quiet and slumped against the couch, her eyes barely even glancing over as she heard something knocking against the door, and a somewhat familiar voice calling out. Who did that voice belong to, again...? Nashua frowned as she tried to remember, but then dropped it as her eyes drifted back towards the television, and she picked up another chip out of the bag to munch on. If she didn't answer, they'd probably just leave her alone, she reasoned. Though, after a moment of silence, Nashua heard the door crack open forcefully, and the muffled voice was now louder, as it was inside of her home. She didn't do anything as the footsteps got closer, but when Queen Kayen finally came into view, Nashua's glazed over eyes made a quick glance over at the woman. "Oh, hey," she unenthusiastically said. "So, you finally died, too? I'm surprised you made it into Heaven." She took another bite out of a chip as her eyes drifted back towards the television.
Nashua didn't say much as Kayen stood in the room, instead opting to silently watch TV and munch on her chips. Kayen would've gotten a fairly good look at the Saiyan, though, who now seemed to be a shell of her former self. Her Saiyan armor was discarded on the couch and floor next to her, while her current clothes seemed hardly even fit to be pajamas, with baggy pants over her legs and an ill fitting crop top that unfortunately revealed her... 'Bulged' stomach. The halo over her head shone dimly compared to many others' bright, shining halos, and her previously long and flowing hair now abruptly cut off into hundreds of split ends around her shoulders, while her formerly bright and golden eyes now seemed a dull, muted yellow as they gazed off into the television. And that wasn't even to mention the dozens of discarded cans of drinks and wrappers that were scattered across the floor.
A small burp escaped Nashua as she reached over to the side and picked up a can of Hetap, pouring the remainder of what liquid was inside down her mouth, before she tossed the now empty can to the side, it landing onto the floor with a clang and rolling until it came to a stop as it bumped into Kayen's foot. Nashua was silent for a few moments, still, until finally, without looking over at Kayen, she asked, "Do you need something, or can I just get back to my show?"

Kayen blinked once, twice, several more times as she finally got a good look into the room where Nashua’s power was located, and while certainly it WAS Nashua’s energy signature the person she found bore only a vague resemblance to the person Kayen knew, superficially of course she could tell that this technically WAS Nashua but everything just seemed… wrong She appeared utterly defeated, devoid of any and all of the passion she had in life. Even while dealing with the stress of running a planet Nashua had still more or less remained the same, now though she was a shell of her former self. It was not at all what Kayen had expected to find, she had figured she would find a Nashua training under the same divine being that had trained Typha, or perhaps having already finished that training and simply honing her skills, or maybe just doing whatever it is one did in Heaven. “I’m not dead” Kayen managed through her confusion “I came to see how you were doing up here, give you some news and maybe spar or something” Kayen said slowly managing to put aside the confusion in favor of trying to figure out what was up “the hell happened to you?” tact was however not one of Kayen’s strong suits. This surely could not be a normal thing with Heaven… could it? Typha had not had any sort of discernable change like this as far as she knew, he in fact had come back seemingly MORE determined and powerful, while in her current state Kayen could hardly imagine Nashua even managing to maintain her current power for much longer let alone growing stronger.

Nashua simply kept munching on her chips as Kayen took in the sight of the room, seemingly not paying her all that much mind as images flashed on the television in front of her. The show currently on seemed to be some kind of sitcom about a group of friends living on Earth who all share an apartment, called 'B.U.D.D.I.E.S.' It was okay. Nashua had already seen this episode, but the remote was on the other end up the couch, so she'd have to, like, lean over and grab it if she anted to change the channel. So it wasn't really worth the effort, she figured. Besides, she had a perfectly comfortable position in the couch right now, so there was no promise that if she shifted her weight that when she shifted it back it would feel quite as comfortable as it had before. And why take that kind of risk when you don't need to?
Although, Nashua did direct her eyes over at Kayen when the Queen said she wasn't actually dead. Sure enough, there wasn't any kind of halo over her head. But she was still here, somehow. Was that always a thing people could do? Just... Visit the afterlife? "Hm." Nashua mumbled, and looked like she was about to add something, but seemed to have changed her mind as her eyes turned back towards the screen. The Saiyan didn't look at her former Queen as she continued, though she did hear what Kayen was saying, at the very least. So, Kayen had come to visit and give her updates and whatnot? That was nice. But if Kayen could visit, chances were that just about anyone who really wanted to could. But this was the only visitor Nashua had gotten.
And as for that last question she'd been asked... "What?" she asked, turning her head slightly and furrowing her brows at Kayen. "Weren't you there? I died. If you came all the way up into Heaven to see me, I figured you'd have realized that." Nashua gave Kayen a frown, then turned back to the television and had another chip, but she was now having to reach annoyingly far into the bag to get the next one by this point, the bag crinkling loudly as her arm shoved deep inside of it and plucked an orange chip out before shoving it into her mouth, the faint sound of her teeth crunching it soon to follow. Nashua was pretty quiet for a bit longer, then finally spoke up, "I'm not in the mood to spar, so you can go if you want."

“Obviously I know you’re dead” Kayen said with a hint of frustration “I figured you would be doing… literally anything other than this, I didn’t even figure this” Kayen gestured at Nashua’s current state “was even an option, I would have figured you would be training with the guy who taught Typha that Kaio-whatever. And it’s not as if you’ll be dead for much longer” well that really all depended on what Carro ended up doing but even still if they DID make the mistake of wishing back Namek first Nashua would still be revived relatively soon after. “I’ve been working to make sure the next wish involves you being revived, and if for some reason it ends up not looking like it’ll go that way the easy way I plan to make sure it happens personally” Kayen said with a grin though it only lasted a few moments as she watched Nashua’s struggle to acquire what seemed to be among the last chips in the bag. “What’s got you acting like… this” Kayen said gesturing generally in Nashua’s direction “I can’t claim to be any sort of exper on you but you’re not acting like the Nashua I know.”

Nashua frowned and glanced over at Kayen again as the Saiyan Queen talked again about her current state, how she'd assumed Nashua would be doing some of that 'special training' that Typha had gotten. "I did it a bit," Nashua replied, and though it seemed like an incomplete thought, she didn't say anything more as she fished another chip out of the bag. It seemed to have been the last chip, though, as after she was finished with it, Nashua tossed the bag to the side, with it fluttering down to the ground and crinkling slightly as it hit the floor, a few crumbs spilling out of it on the ground. Nashua then looked around as if she was searching for something, until her eyes rested on a ripped open box halfway filled with soda cans. The side of the box read "108 Pack", and it seemed to be the last box with cans inside of it, as it was surrounded by several discarded ones.
"Can you grab me one of those?" she asked Kayen, "I usually ask an Ogre to do it, but you're already here, so." As she awaited Kayen's response, she leaned back and scratched her stomach, which had become... Larger than it had been while she was still alive. In fact, most of her seemed a bit thicker in general, from her stomach to her arms and legs. Even her cheeks looked the slightest bit puffier than what Kayen would likely have remembered. Kayen's next remarks seemed as though they almost brought forth a tinge of annoyance in Nashua, who frowned and lowered her gaze as Kayen mentioned revival, and simply directly asked why Nashua was now acting like 'this'. It wasn't as if Nashua didn't know what she was talking about, if she was going to be honest with herself.
With a sigh, Nashua replied, "Yeah, I'm gonna turn down that revival wish," as she gazed back over the television, her expression once again becoming blank. "So, don't worry if it doesn't happen for me." Nashua scratched her nose and then fell silent again for a bit, before she decided she better answer Kayen's question if the Queen was going to keep pestering her about it. "Well, the Nashua 'you knew' died when she got her stomach blown open by someone she'd worked her ass off to revive, and then got shot in the heart by the person she'd gotten her guts blown apart trying to defend," she bluntly replied, and while her tone sounded agitated, she didn't avert her gaze from the television. "Oh, and she also died when her best friend went and blew up a planet she'd nearly already died for, twice. And then there's the fact that the two most powerful healers in the galaxy stood and watched as she was bleeding out."
"By the way, how's that Kingdom you've been running into the ground going? Or have you realized yet how much of a failure you are as a Queen?" Nashua finally did look over at Kayen during that last remark, her eyebrows furrowing in a slight show of anger. "Get out of my house. And quit talking, I can't hear the T.V."

Kayen watched Nashua like she was some strange foreign creature rather than someone she knew, trying to figure out if there was some sort of external force that had caused this strange shift in attitude from the usually unyieldingly positive person Kayen had known before but as far as Kayen could sense there was no external energy sources affecting her, sure it was possible it was something not quite so easily detected but… That was quickly dispatched as Nashua mentioned turning down revival, that managed to completely drag the Queen out of her thoughts and right back into the present and got a genuine look of shock from her, why the hell would Nashua possible want to not just be like this but STAY like this and seemingly by CHOICE since she intended to reject revival even if it WAS offered. But things started to become a bit more clear as Nashua seemed to regain a bit of fire, albeit not exactly in the way Kayen had expected or wanted, she grew… frustrated? Angry? Probably both, as she plainly the things that had caused her change and the reasons for her disinterest in revival. Kayen felt a bit like a fool for not realizing that the problem was not some plot or scheme by some outside force but instead just genuine emotional damage. Apparently Yogu was someone she had either helped revive, or was one of those they had intended to revive with the current wish, it only served to make Kayen MORE annoyed with what she had seen out of the Earthling on Brenchia. Nashua ended on taking a shot at Kayen herself, most anyone else would have gotten decked in the face for what Nashua said but Kayen decided to exercise a bit of restraint considering the situation, especially as she mulled over the last thing Nashua had said before the comment, about the two best healers watching as she bled out, in the moment Kayen had been too focused on Vocado to focus on that but it WAS strange that there was nothing the duo seemingly could do. Was it because they couldn't or had they chosen not to? Kayen was perhaps the exact opposite of a healer so she had no real way of knowing. “Good to see there is still a bit more to you than just moping. But I think we both know I’m a bit too much of an asshole to drop things THAT easily” Kayen said pointing a hand at the TV and firing a blast of energy to destroy the device intent on keeping Nashua’s attention “Staying dead won’t fix any of the things you just mentioned. The one who killed you is still out there, bragging about killing you, Ramen was pulled into attacking Namek because she thought Cress was working on my orders” “The two who either couldn't or DIDN'T heal you are still out and about and if you’re pissed at them you should make sure they know”“And most importantly Vocado. If you stay like THIS he wins, don’t let him not only be the cause of your death but also the destruction of everything positive about you. ” Kayen mulled over her thoughts on how to address Nashua’s comments on herself, they were a bit more difficult to respond to than the others. “I thought we were doing pretty well until Vocado made a mess of things, Raiti is as it’s always been, and you were doing well with Arcose. BUT if I’m such a terrible Queen and you apparently care about me running the Kingdom ‘into the ground’ why exactly are you so willing to leave it behind?” It was perhaps a bit dangerous to goad Nashua in this manner, practically challenging her to stand AGAINST her, but it was a calculated risk, one Kayen hoped would pay off by playing a part in getting Nashua back in action and if it meant fighting her down the road… Was that really so terrible? She could leave her alive if she came for the throne, let her rule Vegeta itself while Kayen handled the worlds that suited her better, perhaps Nashua COULD get the Saiyans under proper control.. And if she lost? She’d gone into her fight with Carro expecting defeat, needing to see exactly how far she needed to go to catch up to the best. A defeat at Nashua’s hands would be much the same, just more fuel for the fire.

Admittedly, Nashua couldn't say for sure what she thought Kayen's reaction might be. She knew she was stronger than the Saiyan Queen, though - or, at least stronger in their base forms. Then again, she idly glanced down at her somewhat... Extended stomach and wondered whether or not she'd be able to put up much of a fight in this state. And then there was that other issue she'd been struggling with. But it turned out she might not need to fight after all, as Kayen instead decided to blast away the television right in the middle of a laugh track after some joke Nashua had missed. "Hey, I was watching th-" she started to protest, but she was cut off as Kayen went into a spiel of her own. Nashua stared and frowned as the Queen went off on a tirade about how Yogu was bragging about how he'd killed her, Ramen thought Cress was acting on orders, so on and so forth.
"You sure are good at deflecting from the real issue," Nashua finally said as she, at last, stood up off the couch and wobbled a bit, and while her height was significantly shorter than Kayen's, it looked like there was a good chance the two of them weighed about the same as she waddled up to the Queen, raising her hand to point a finger up at her face with angrily furrowed brows and a frustrated frown. "Did you know that not a single other major leader in the galaxy actually trusts you? I've seen them all, breathing sighs of relief when the Kingdom is away, or nervously awaiting some kind of invasion whenever we are out on the move. All you've done is make people fear the Kingdom I grew up in, and not even in the good way. And, maybe you should consider why practically every Saiyan with an ounce of combat strength besides me decided to betray you and go join up with Vocado, hmm?"
Nashua held her pose for a few moments, her golden eyes glaring up into Kayen's with a fury, until she dropped her arm and wandered back over towards the table, picking a phone up off of it and scrolling through some contacts. Still, she decided to at least address Kayen's last comment. "And I'm leaving it behind because I've done no better than you. I failed Namek, I failed Earth, I've certainly failed Vegeta, and you.... You... You somehow swindled me into invading and taking over a foreign power! I would have never even considered doing something like that a year ago!" Nashua started trembling, and her sleeve wiped at her eyes as she added, "The only thing I can do is make things worse, and I can't do that if I'm imprisoned up here where I belong. I deserved to be killed back there - Yogu has every right to brag about relieving the galaxy of me."
She fell silent again, then finally tapped some numbers into the phone, and held it up to her ear, averting her eyes from Kayen as she waited for the voice on the other end to reply. After a few moments, she said, "Hi, Logre and Bogre TV Repair? I have a bit of a broken set here, and I was wondering how long it would take you to send someone down to take a look at it? It's a bit damaged but I think it'll be fine after a patch up job."

“He offered them what they wanted, freedom to kill and destroy whatever they want. He spoke to the worst aspects of the Saiyans and they liked what he had to say. He told me himself, his aim was to follow as closely to Zucceta’s early mission as possible, including use of the Tree of Might. He wanted ME to join in and tried presumably a very similar speech to whatever he’s said to Cress, Kalabas, and Scallio. They were ALREADY loyal to him because he was their friend and for a time their King. I made the mistake of not putting as much a focus on ensuring the general loyalty of the stronger Saiyans because most of them like Cress seemed too loyal to the Kingdom as a concept” It would be VERY easy for Kayen to just get mad and shout back at Nashua with far less strong arguments but the mess with Scallio and Vocado had taught Kayen that she really HAD made a bit of a mess being so lax on the Saiyans. “As for the mistrust of the other ‘leaders’ the only one worth my attention is Carro, maybe Chime if you count him as a ‘leader’ of Earth alongside Carro. I WAS working on a positive relationship with Carro but Vocado and Scallio have seemingly fairly thoroughly poisoned that. Earth’s leaders are really the only ones worth me caring if they trust me or not. I’ve made no illusions of my intentions with the rest of the Galaxy to you or anyone else. They will fear the Kingdom until they join it”
“You were not swindled, I made things clear and your work on Arcose is more reason why you SHOULD return. Without an effort to try and dissolve the tension between Arcose and Vegeta the two will end up constantly destroying each other. You’re proof that it's possible for things to work differently. You’ll only have ‘failed’ any of those worlds if you stay dead when you have the means to improve things.” Admittedly Kayens view of ‘improve’ was perhaps a bit different from any sort of normal consensus as it required most if not all of the worlds in their galaxy under her rule. But she DID want to see those worlds prosper under her rule.

Nashua couldn't say she was particularly pleased with Kayen's response, a dull frown and furrowed brows on her face as Kayen rambled off every reason why she wasn't completely in the wrong. Sure, Vocado had sort of intentionally appealed to the lesser aspects of the Saiyans, but it wasn't as if Kayen hadn't been campaigning on that same sort of thing. What it really came to do - or rather, what Nashua felt it came down to - was that Kayen had proven herself a rather weak and ineffective leader. It was probably mostly the anger and frustration Nashua was feeling in general, admittedly, that was causing her to think so harshly of the Queen, but she lacked the self awareness to calm herself down much at the moment. "Well I certainly didn't feel like I wasn't failing," she sternly replied, covering up the bottom part of the telephone until she put it back up to her ear.
"...Yes, that's fine. ...No, I don't want to upgrade. ...No, I'm not interested in the premium package. ...No, I'm not interested in the deluxe package, either. ...No, I do not have a membership. ...No, I would not like to sign up for one. ...No, I do not have- Look, I'm not interested in any special offers." The person on the other end of the phone said a few more things about delivery and all that, but it didn't take long before her order was finalized and Nashua hung up the phone. "Well, it looks like I'm going to have to find something else to entertain me for the next six to eight business days," she said at Kayen but not particularly to her. Nashua let the silence sit for a few moments, a cold but muted expression on her face as she stared off into nothing at the corner of the room.
After a few moments of an awkward, hung silence, Nashua sighed. "I won't refuse the revival," she confirmed, "I may as well try and help... Fix things down there. Emphasis on try. If there's one thing this has taught me, it's that I've been far, far too passive about all of this." If she'd acted with more agency, taken matters more into her own hands, not tried so hard to just 'make friends' with everyone, she probably could have helped prevent quite a bit of the grief that had gone on in the galaxy these last couple of years. It wasn't like she lacked the strength to do so, she just hadn't nearly been willing enough to use it to bend others to her will - while everyone else had been more than happy to do just that. "What's that old saying? 'If you can't beat them, join them', right? Well, I certainly wasn't able to beat all you power hungry fools. So I may as well become one of you."

Kayen let Nashua’s comment on not feeling like she hadn’t failed hang as she argued over the phone, part of her was tempted to push harder to have Nashua see things a bit differently but perhaps now was not the time. She could work on that later, what was a fair bit more important right now was her apparent hesitance to be revived. Kayen raised an eyebrow at Nashua saying she needed something to do during the days it would take to get things repaired, Kayen had a few comments she COULD have made and was quite tempted to but Nashua seemed still in thought even after a few moments. And then it all fell nicely into place, whether it was Kayens words that had done it or Nashua’s own frustrations she was apparently now on board with revival “I’m glad to hear it, regardless of your current or previous reservations the universe IS better with you alive.” Even if Nashua generally stood as an almost complete opposite to Kayen morality-wise Kayen had a certain fondness for the other Saiyan and the fact that they were almost certainly all but unbeatable when they WERE working toward the same goal was good. “I’m eager to see what a less passive Nashua will be like, and tempting as it might be for me to say otherwise I wouldn't say you should COMPLETELY abandon your old ways, just perhaps… update them. I wish I could stick around to train with you and help you get back into shape, but I’m pretty sure I’ll only get a day at most here.”
