The first thing Auber did, arriving back on Earth, was to visit the location in which the recent events have unfolded from, for investigative purposes? Not really, Auber had enough pieces of the puzzle to deduce what it is that occured, and even if he doesn't have all the details, does it matter? The general picture should be enough in this case.
He walked through the strong, freezing wind of Mt. Frappe, hands in his pockets of his extravagant suit and red tie, this would be the perfect training spot, maybe some of the Saiyan Kingdom trained here back when they were exiled from Vegeta by the World Trade Fleet, not that Auber had the intention of caring much.
He stopped, content to sigh as he looked around, it seemed the place was mostly free from people and other lifeforms in general, which made sense, given it's inhospitable environment, of course, someone of Auber's power could easily trek through the icy mountain with the slightest hint of effort.
Standing at the crime scene of so many of his mysteries and concern, Auber could only guess this is was where the entire situation with Vocado blossomed into a tragedy for many parties involved, him included by association, considering this was where Scallio nearly lost his beloved Narissa.

Kayen had decided today was a decent enough day to take a break from the chaos going on, she had been tempted to have the Stormbreaker take off for Raiti but with the current mess going on she wanted to keep a closer eye on Earth for the time being, with all the idiots in the galaxy right now she needed to make sure this particular planet was kept in once piece for now. So she decided to go for a flight, a simple relaxing flight around Earth. She rarely just took time to genuinely relax, her usual stress relief was working out or training which while enjoyable was hardly ‘relaxing’ but flight was… simple… fun Eventually she spotted the location on Earth that had caused her no end of frustration recently, if memory served its name was Mount Frappe, she had made a point of having Barb find that out for her so she knew if ever she had an excuse to blow something big up on Earth, she’d know EXACTLY where to go. Kayen raised an eyebrow as she took a long look at the mountain and felt a familiar power signature, with a shrug she turned herself in the air and took off in it’s direction “Didn’t expect to find you here Auber, good to see you made it out of your brawl alright” Kayen said crossing her arms and landing near the other Saiyan.

He would be fairly surprised to see anyone else here, considering how this mountain was apparently a nightmare for the inhabitants to be in, with freezing blizzards and strong currents of wind, it's hard to imagine that so many people fought here not too long ago.
Of course, with this in mind, it's no surprise that there are individuals besides Auber himself who could move through this cold wasteland with relative ease, one of these being the Queen of the Saiyans herself, Kayen, whom Auber raised an eyebrow at her presence here in Mt. Frappe.
Nevertheless, a reply was in order, "And to you as well, Kayen, did you enjoy your bout with Hofferson?" Auber could sense, at the time, Kayen and Hofferson's powers clashing at the time he began his fight with the blue-haired hybrid Russé, although he had stopped paying attention to focus on his fight with said hybrid.

“About as much as one can ‘enjoy’ getting demolished I suppose. But it all went more or less to plan so I am not exactly in a position to complain” Kayen said with a smirk, she was unsure if Auber was aware that she had been fairly handily beaten once Carro started taking the fight seriously he had from what she had picked up been engaged in a fight of his own and was likely far more focused on that at the time. “I’ve run into some issues recently Auber, and I want to make a few things clear. You’re one of the few members of the Kingdom I have an amount of fondness for so I’d rather not have you go the way Scallio did. Vocado and his little group with Kalabas and Cress? They are enemies of my Kingdom, those who stand with them are enemies as well. I gave Scallio too many chances, I’m done giving people chances. So if he had approached you about anything or you at some point are after now, know that I’m fresh out of mercy.” The closest thing to mercy Kayen had been willing to give was to allow Amara the chance to abscond with Scallio but apparently the Stargoon had decided against letting him live as well. “If there are any decisions on your end to be made in regards to that, make them. If my side is the one you want to be on I’d like to offer you a chance to train with me. You’re strong but you could be much stronger, with a bit of work I’m sure you could wipe the floor with the Saiyan you were fighting before. With some effort you could also very likely become a Super Saiyan”

Auber mirrored Kayen's smirk of amusement, a single chuckle escaping his lips as he pondered on the imagination of Kayen losing a fight, it was alien to be sure, yet Auber didn't find it impossible, one would always be destined for failure or defeat sooner or later, the only difference is when it would come.
Kayen then turned the atmosphere as steely and grounded as the mountain they find themselves on, she made clear and clarified everything Auber either suspected or knew for a while, not much was surprising, Vocado, and his crew, which included Cress and Kalabas had decided to go do their own thing, and were punished for it.
Did Auber agree with them? He doesn't even know what they were trying to do, and frankly? He didn't care to know, it was a buried subject and Auber would like to leave it at that, it's a shame Scallio didn't try to do the same but to each their own, supposedly.
Kayen made offered to train with Auber, along with requesting clarification on which side of the board he would be on, and Auber couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the context of the inquiry, what side is there to pick but hers at this point? Well, besides his, that is, but that's not the point here.
Nodding to himself and to Kayen, he rubbed his wrists for a bit, "Are we starting now?" He inquired his first words since Kayen began speaking.

Kayen watched Auber for a long few moments as her words seemed to sink in on him, he did not seem overly surprised by what she had said perhaps meaning he had known or suspected what had been going on to some extent, he also importantly looked unafraid which gave Kayen a bit of hope that this would work out. If Auber WAS on the fence about who’s side he would end up on surely her drawing a line and giving a VERY clear understanding of what would happen to those on the wrong side of that line might spook him just a little bit, that he might feel unsure if he was on her side ENOUGH to escape her wrath. But no, he appeared entirely without worry. His response made no mention of the conflict, perhaps a sort of way of showing that he saw it unnecessary to even address something Kayen was willing to accept. He’d been given his warnings, if she found out he was a more impressive lier than she expected he KNEW the results, and so she grinned. “I’ve got time if you do” Kayen said rolling her shoulders, the frustrated tension of the mess with Vocado being relieved as she did so “Let’s see where stand, I can feel your strength and it’s decent. I want to see how well you can use it though” Kayen said dropping into a fighting stance, notably without Fateburn, with their current power disparity it would serve no benefit to use her sword, this could be a decent chance for her to get a bit more of a workout with her unarmed skills.

Auber's smirk returned full-force as Kayen dropped into a stance as well, not that he expected otherwise, through the end of the day, they were still Saiyans, and Saiyans, as much as everyone knows, would fight, they would scrap, they would battle, if not to improve, if not to test themselves, then for the thrill.
He supposed he should start things off, and so he did, dashing at the Queen with swift speed, however, he would change up the tactics this time, thus the form that would charge at Kayen would only be an aftermirage, a magenta, misty and opaque cloud that would dissipate soon after.
Auber's true self woud be delivering a horizontal kick at the Pirate Queen's ribs, followed by an uppercut to the chin, the younger Saiyan wouldn't let the scuffle end there however, aiming his palms, he would shoot stray ki blasts at Kayen, not that they would do much, but Auber could test to see how she dealt with them, they did paint good distractions after all.

Kayen grinned as Auber took off at incredible speed, fast enough even for it to require active effort on her part to keep track of him picking up on him a moment after he left behind the false image of himself and just before he got close enough to take a strike at her, fast as she was Auber’s use extra power to increase his speed would have taken too much energy on her part to try to counteract and so instead the Queen simply braced herself for the impact. The kick cracked against her side though it did not move her and only caused the Queen to grit her teeth slightly at the impact, the uppercut managed to tip her head up slightly and then the finale the flurry of energy blasts was finally when Kayen had enough time to make a proper reaction quickly dipping and dodging out of the way of the blasts. “Not terrible, you’ve definitely got a lot of skill.” Kayen said her tone entirely unchanged from before in spite of taking several strong hits from Auber “If you can keep that up I think all we’ve really got to work on with you will be power” Kayen said before vanishing pulling a trick similar to Auber’s though instead of taking the direct route as he had Kayen would appear behind him and take a quick strike knee strike aimed at Auber’s lower back. “In a few days I plan to head to Beppa, some idiot’s made a move to claim it. Pretty sure it’s the same guy who’s running Knutts right now. He’s made the unfortunate mistake of thinking that simply because I haven’t actively claimed Beppa that it isn’t mine to rule” Kayen said with an amused grin “You can join if if you want, I dont know how much resistance I’ll be faced with so there might be a decent fight for you if it comes to that”

Auber expected Kayen to either tank the attacks without much issue, or simply avoid them all-together, he hummed as his first expectation came true, though a small part of him still had that surprise spike up when his attacks didn't land an impactful result, perhaps he's grown accustomed to fighting opponents his level, that reacted visibly when he made a move against them.
He crushed that part down, and remained impassive as Kayen decided to avoid his stray blasts, commenting that he might only need power, Auber was inclined to agree with her, skill didn't seem like it would be a problem for him, now that he thought about it, he did spend most of his life fighting, which is common for a Saiyan warrior.
Auber's attention was brought back to the fight when he failed to react in time to the Queen landing a knee on his lower back, the force of the attack enough to bend his knees, as he fell towards the snow, luckily, he was a quick-thinker, for he kept himself in the scuffle with a handstand, his fingers digging into the snow as he kept himself balanced on this acrobatic maneuver, followed by the younger Saiyan shooting out his leg towards Kayen, aiming for her chin once more.
Regardless if he landed his counter-attack or not, he would hop away to a safe distance, bending one of his knees to test them, but his attention was now on what Kayen had said, someone had taken over Beppa and it was most likely the guy running Knutts? Auber's eyes flashed with recognition, of course it was Flip Fortuna.
"May I make a suggestion? Why don't we form a partnership of sorts?" Auber's tone made it clear that he could elaborate more on it if Kayen requested, settling into his fighting stance once more, this time, he would see if Kayen made her move, and when she did, he would make an effort to track her movements, it would help him against opponents that may be stronger than he is.

Kayen’s hand snapped forward and grabbed hold of Auber’s foot as he lashed out with a quick kick aimed at her head, Kayen smirked as she tightened her grip on the offending limb to prevent his escape this scenario was rather amusingly familiar to the Queen, though it was not Auber who she had done this to directly last time, he HAD ended up on the receiving end of her efforts. His reaction to the news about Beppa was… not quite what she had expected, she had anticipated that he would be eager for a fight, perhaps question on if they would be launching a full attack on Beppa or simply a direct strike on those who had taken it, instead he suggested… a partnership, and there was clearly a bit more to it than that. “Not what I expected” Kayen said with a raised eyebrow, for a moment it would seem like she was waiting for him to elaborate… before she would wrench him over her shoulder and attempt to slam him into the frozen ground, sadly she had no other opponents to hit him with this time “Why?” NOW she would give Auber a chance to explain either after he recovered from the slam or escaped her grasp.

Auber visibly cringed as Kayen not only managed to grab the offending limb, but also tightened her grip on it, and that's a whole lot of pain, Auber would have attempted to escape, but two things distracted him in that moment, firstly, it was the fact that his predicament left an odd sense of gravitational stability, what with someone holding his leg and all.
The second was Kayen's reaction to the first part of his suggestion, and he was mulling over what to respond to her before she abruptly ended his train of thought and slammed him on the icy grounds, this time, Auber winced, visibly, but otherwise didn't show much of a problem.
"Well.." He began, while aiming the palm of his hand at Kayen, a vortex of dark-purple energy swirling for a short moment before a sphere shot out of his hand and onto Kayen, once again, Auber made sure to aim for the head, and even after shooting the Queen with Dark Blast, he'd rather not take a chance and used his other leg to kick her in the stomach.
Slipping his leg out of the Queen's grasp, or attempting to do anyway, he would once more try to create the distance he desired, "First of all, Flip Fortuna can be a useful tool in terms of discovering who our enemies may be, as you know, there are people that can use the criminal channels in order to not only find information on a specific individual, but also find the means, if we puppet Fortuna, and assuming he does come to us with information, we can discover who may be trying to plot against us."
His tone once again stated that he had more to say, but he waited for Kayen to give the go-ahead.

Kayen kept a grip on Auber’s foot after the first slam, her plan was to maintain control and just keep swinging him around the mountain for a bit to see how he would attempt to escape but impressively he managed to keep himself aware enough to form and unleash a far more serious attack than the few Kayen had taken so far. The blast crashed into her face and caused a grunt of pain from the Queen and in that moment her grip lightened just a bit, Kayen barely registered the second kick as she shook off the pain from the more serious blast and as she did so she realized her hand was not empty, she managed a smirk as she watched Auber pull back. “Cute, I really shouldn't let the power difference let me get so sloppy.” Still it was probably for the best, slamming Auber around the mountain for a bit might have been fun but would likely be hardly useful to his training unless she got serious about it. Technically speaking she COULD just try to kill him for real and if he survived he’d end up stronger for it. But that would probably put a damper on the friendliness between them and also it was far more likely he would just die by accident. “I’m fairly certain of who my enemies are. It’s whoever puts themself in my path to conquering our Galaxy, this Fortuna guy is putting himself directly IN that path by taking Beppa. I suppose I might be willing to let him join me, you seem to have some knowledge on him, what do you think are the actual chances of him playing ball?” Kayen questioned before pointing her palm at Auber and firing a rapid series of blasts the first couple more aimed to force him to get moving before she started to really take aim at him.

Auber managed to break free from Kayen's iron grip, good thing too, he wasn't sure what she would have done, but judging about how she slammed him on the frozen ground earlier? Probably a whole world of pain that Auber preferred to avoid in general.
Kayen seemed more stubborn about this than he expected, but she offered an opportunity soon after, would Flip Fortuna join her? Depends what her definition of 'join' is, he probably wouldn't be too happy to be absorbed entirely into the Kingdom, but this was most likely gonna be the best he's got in regards to a 'partnership'.
"He'll join you, he would be a fool to risk making an enemy out of the Kingdom, especially now that he's taken a planet so close to our sphere of influence, not to mention the benefits of joining with us." He spoke, pausing for a moment before letting his thoughts clear, "I'm simply concerned he might try to worm out of our hands to our enemy's hands if we keep too much of a grip on him." He stated, Flip Fortuna seemed like a slippery type.
His battle of wits was interrupted by the physical battle escalating, as Kayen began to shoot miniature ki blasts at Auber, and he quickly ran around the mountain in a circular motion, a quick scheme coming up in his mind as he dashed straight for the Queen, but stopped a small distance after, and used his leg to sweep snow at the Queen's line of sight.
He then smirked, concentrating ki into his right hand, soon enough, his palm up to his elbow began to radiate his magenta-coloured ki, and it soon shaped in the form of a blade without a hilt, the sword-like blade glowed with Auber's ki, it was then that he spoke, "It's a shame you couldn't bring Fateburn, this could have been a decent sword fight." He afterwards advanced, aiming to slash at the Queen.

“The number of fools putting themselves in my way has been on the rise recently. If you think it’s worth the effort I’ll give him a chance, probably offer him something like what I was offering Carro though with a lean more on him EVENTUALLY integrating more directly with the Kingdom over time. If he’s got enough sense it could work out well, I need more people with familiarity with running large operations and if he’s capable he could fit into that role nicely” Kayen said with a shrug, what little she knew of the ‘Fortuna Syndicate’ painted them in a light that Kayen could certainly see herself working with. They were, at least now, an organization similar to some that existed on Raiti but on a far more grand scale. Kayen raised an eyebrow as Auber finally reappeared now ‘wielding’ an energy blade, that was a pleasant surprise and his comment as he made his attack earned a smirk from the Queen. “Who said I didn’t bring Fateburn?” Kayen answered as she reached into her armor and pulled out a capsule, clicking it quickly before reaching out with her other hand into the cloud, gripping the handle of the massive blade and whirling it around to meet Auber’s attack, the blade glowing briefly as she did so. The massive blade clashed against Auber’s energy weapon very briefly before the power behind Fateburn overpowered it and powerful burst of energy erupted between them, Kayen was VERY careful with that attack, allowing the attack to come through at its normal razor sharp shape would very likely leave Auber looking a bit too much like Vocado for her liking, instead now it would just be on him to handle a very painful explosion.

Auber was more or less content that Kayen would offer Flip the chance, "I do think he's worth the effort, if he decides to be an idiot and fight, then he'll simply be removed, simple as that." Auber made clear that he, of course, had no qualms about putting the Fortuna Syndicate's head in his place if he decided he had brass too big for his own good.
Anyone else would have most certainly been surprised by Kayen bringing out Fateburn, however, while Auber wasn't expecting the famous sword to make an appearance, he wouldn't let it show, schooling his features into a poker face, one thing he did expect however, was Fateburn overpowering his own recently-used Razor Blade, and so he simply improvised.
The Demon Fang would plainly shoot through Auber, though not in the gruesome manner one might think, once more, Auber used his Aftermirage, but instead of attempting to appear directly behind Kayen, he would continue in front of the Queen, intelligibly using his Aftermirage to avoid the Demon Fang, and in that split second he had his fist raised, poised to strike, he spoke, "So you did." Before he attempted to uppercut the Pirate Queen with his poised strike.
He would capitalize on this by continuing his strikes, sending out a kick towards the Queen's stomach, and then one more roundhouse, horizontal kick towards her face, deciding enough was enough, he jumped back, desiring to create distance once more, though he was fully expecting Kayen to decide to come after him this time.
