Kayen gave just a nod in response to what Auber had to say about Fortuna’s leaders potential fate before they continued their clash, it was good to know this was not some sort of major sticking point for the Saiyan, though his apparent interest in a less violent conclusion was something Kayen would keep in mind. If it had any implications beyond just Auber thinking Flip was useful, that he was perhaps a friend of sorts, perhaps even if it DID come to a fight she might let Flip live as long as he was not TOO much of an annoyance. Though… that had not exactly worked out for her so far, letting Vocado and Scallio live when she had them at her mercy had ended up having far reaching negative consequences, for more than just herself. People she was fond of and actual friends were DEAD or drastically altered by their actions. Sure Flip was barely a concern NOW but what about the future? The two clashed blades and Kayen was impressed as Auber narrowly escaped her attack the attack ‘killing’ him at first but Kayen could already tell even before the image faded that it was false, she had held back on that attack specifically to avoid bisecting her training partner, which meant based off of his previous actions… Auber’s kick came out of nowhere and was driven into Kayen’s stomach… only for Auber to fall through Kayen entirely as the Queen pulled the same trick he had on her appearing immediately behind him “FINAL SLASH!” The attack's name came quick and sharp as Kayen took a swipe at Auber’s back. This was unlikely to be as easily countered and would cause quite the impact WHEN it hit.

Auber had all sorts of alarms ringing in his head as his kick went straight through Kayen, once more, the Queen played his own tricks against him, and Auber had a looming danger for a split second, giving him only time to look back, shock visible on his expression.
He barely had the time to utter out a pained cry before the sheer power of Fateburn carved itself onto his back, sending him flying through the air for but a moment. Inevitably however, gravity had to take effect, and Auber was soon driven through the frozen ground, momentum still reeling from the force of the sword.
His body finally stopped tumbling and rolling within the icy grounds of the mountain, the sudden cold feeling being numbed by the adrenaline, in fact, it's probably thanks to the adrenaline that Auber isn't feeling the sheer pain from having his back swiped at with a massive sword.
He simply laid there, phasing in and out of consciousness, his body rendered weak by the power of the Queen.
Auber supposed that this was the power that Kayen possessed. If nothing else, he should be able to get a lot stronger from this.
If he didn't die here, of course.
He merely only had the energy to let out one last and quiet sigh before he succumbed to his injury, and laid unconscious.

Kayen let out a sigh as the attack connected and she watched as Auber was sent flying into the mountainside his body battering against the rocky hills a few times but from as far as Kayen could see it seemed decently likely that the mountain was the one coming out of the encounter for the worse, at least in regard to Auber hitting it. Obviously that required discounting the reason WHY Auber was sent flying into the mountain. Kayen kept a firm lock on his power signature and once he stopped moving Kayen slowly made her way over to him, impressed to find that his eyes were open when she did so “You’ve done very well today Auber, take a rest now. I’ll get you patched up” Kayen said not quite sure if in his current state Auber could even comprehend what she was saying. He SEEMED conscious but it was only barely, his eyes struggling to remain open for a few more moments before darkness consumed him. “Barb, have the medical bay prepped. Auber needs a dip in a healing tank. Nothing critical… I think… at least I wasn’t AIMING for anything critical so…” Kayen trailed off and chuckled floating down and hoisting Auber up with one arm and slinging him over her shoulder as the Stormbreaker pulled in closer. She would deposit the unconscious Saiyan in the med bay to give him a chance to heal up, maybe he’d end up stronger for their little encounter even if there was no genuine threat to his life.
