The Arks steady pulses helped Garruk keep focus as he worked out how to fly again. It was not like he had forgot but rather he had learned how to fly before he was even a year old, a feat that was impressive even by his race's standards if not for the fact he did it all subconsciously. It was just like walking for him and he wanted to understand it at a conscious level so that he might teach Kabocha, her display on flying before worried him greatly. Along with her lack of ki control and along with many other issues due to her lack combat experience. She would have to be taught form the ground up form martial arts, tactics, energy techniques and yes even something as simple as flying. Her armor allowed her to fly but the rocket boots were predictable and did not allow for sudden stops.
It was these reasons that he was down in the ocean again training the basics all over again, the diminutive warrior using the increased gravity provided by the ark as a way to challenge him even while doing the basics. At over a hundred and thirty times normal gravity it was safe to say that he was close to reaching the limit of the ark, still even if he could take it no higher it would still better for him to train in the increased gravity. With a sigh he moved the energy around his body, a task that normally was done subconsciously but with him truly focused on the task it was awkward to say the least. It was like he was using a limb for the first time and every effort he used felt like it was forced, a steady uncomfortable feeling that never seemed to go away. With each push of his ki he felt himself unsteadily float into the air, the gravity and conscious effort making him tilt a little bit. Grunting he slowly steadied himself as he worked on floating around the ring, his speed slowly increasing over the course of several hours and he pushed himself.
It was not until he was satisfied that he could do it without it feeling to uncomfortable that he decided to increase the difficulty, the small Acrosian determined to get a work out even while doing the basics. Taking his basic fighting form he started with the warm up of the basic kata, a few punches and kicks that took advantage of his races abnormal shape. His mind finally relaxing as he slowly took a rock form nearby and forced it to float around the arena while he kept doing his kata, his ki keeping the human sized rock in a constant state of movement as he went though his morning ritual. Over time he increased the the amount of rocks he would float around the ring in a orbital pattern around himself, each rock only adding to the complexity of his training. For now he would keep doing this until he was sure he had relearned the basics form the start.
