Current PL: 101,000 It was one of the very few days Zriracha had ever seen Central City so dark and gloomy. A large thunderstorm had rolled in from the west and overshadowed the city in a dark and foreboding shade. The raid hadn’t dropped quite yet and, as the Satyr walked along the sidewalks and took in the sharp metallic scent of it’s impending arrival, she as also looking for some appropriate shelter. Any place would do, but she was feeling quite puckish along the way. Various shops and cafes had piqued her interest but none had quite captured her attention like a small bakery that – as she passed by – boasted of such an aroma that had her pause mid-step. She cocked her head to the side, gently kicking out on to the ground in a few counts as she thought about a sweet treat and – with a devious smile – walked right in. None too soon, either, as a massive flash of lighting preceded the sudden crack of thunder and a wave of rain down poured mere seconds after she passed the entrance. She blinked, “Close…” The fur upon her legs shivered, hackles raising a bit before she smoothed them down and approached the counter. With a fanged smile, she greeted the owner, “Well met! Tell me, do you have anything to recommend for a rainy day? A-Also, would you be opposed to my staying for just a little while?” She cast a look behind her, a little nervous to make her way to the park in such a torrential downfall. She didn't bother with trying to hide her form behind that of a Human disguise since the raining conditions had forced most to stay inside. Patrona's PL: 5,000 | All 3 minions present
Today was one of those day most people would call as being a terrible weather day and for the most part they were right! Rain made a number of things unpleasant and difficult but Patrona did her best to see the positives that came out of it too, like listening to the sound of it's pretty pitter pattering on the roof outside! Few sounds held the same comfort as rain brought-- Though, it was rather difficult to hear it over the frightened squeaks coming from Jaje today. Rain tended ot bring thunderstorms and lightning with it sometimes and Jaje was very skittish and easily frightened by such which was exactly why the Majin had opted to bring her little critter friends along to work today so that they would feel more safe at work with her then at home alone. But, given the poor weather and a couple of schedule clashes for her other employee's it also left her to pull of this gloomy day shift all by herself! Juggling the work and looking after her little cake dino's was tricky but she didn't seem to mind and the weather had seen to it that fewer customers were coming by today regardless... Speaking of which she seemingly jinxed herself in thinking such! As one just walked in causing the sweet little door bell to give off a gentle chime. Patrona would fix her apron bow at the back as she approached the main counter to welcome the guest who by some luck had made it inside right before the down pour of rain kicked in. " Oh how lucky!" The bubbly majin would smile warmly back at the fanged smile she was given. Truth be told the greeting she was given was a little different to what she was used to but she didn't seem to mind that, " Welcome welcome, it's lovely to meet you! Make yourself at home!" Waving a hand lightly she would give off a giggle, " Oh I don't mind at all dear! You can stay as long as you'd like or at least until the rain clears if you'd prefer, you'd get drenched out there otherwise!" As for recommendations... " I'd recommend a lovely warm cup of hot chocolate with some of our chocolate filled dumplings! Or maybe coffee instead if you're less of a sweets type? Something nice and warm to combat the cold that the rain brings I think would be a wonderful pick though!" She would check back behind the staff area door for a moment before looking back to Zriracha and smiling, " I hope you don't mind! There may be occasional squeaks from back there from some little friends of mine but I promise they won't cause you any trouble! One of them is just a little frightened of the rain"

Once inside, Zriracha was greeted by a rather peppy Majin, her eyes wide at the visage of the young woman behind the counter. However, Zriracha wasn’t going to fixate on the young woman when she was being so accommodating. Zriracha bowed at the waist, a fist to her chest, “Thank you for the warm welcome.” She contemplated the options she was given, all of them honestly catching her fancy as she swallowed from how delicious they sounded. “A-Ah… I will take…” Decisions, decisions. She tapped her chin, thinking, before she looked back at the Majin and cocked her head to the side. With a shake her head, Zriracha waved off her warning, “Oh, it is no inconvenience to me. If it will console them, I would like… all of your suggestions,” She ordered with a grin. To a table nearest the counter, Zriracha would settle into a seat before a crack of thunder would have her flinch, her fur bristling from the sound. While she didn’t suffer from any phobia, storms were never a fun time for the Satyr – not when the Demon Realm quite often suffered from more unconventional storms with acid to watch out for. She looked back at the Majin and, for a bit of conversation to distract herself, but leaned her head against the table with her arms beneath her and popped in, “I haven’t seen many Majin in this realm. Are you… native to Earth?” She was so curious, having not seen many though she’d heard of their incredible appetite and durable nature. Her father spoke volumes of magicians being able to summon them, but at a great cost. Zriracha shared no such desires, abhorring any idea of slavery or servitude. Suddenly, she would remember that such questions were rude and she hadn't even introduced herself. She bounded up from the table, knocking over the chair with an 'Oh!' before going to pick it up and stomp nervously against the floor. "My apologies, I am going rude. I am known as Zriracha of Chakkapak, a Demon from the Demon Realm. Do not feel pressured to answer my questions, I am... merely aimless and seek a refuge for my mind as well." Another crack of thunder, much louder this time, had her bleat suddenly. Patrona

Patrona would give a giggle when bowed to by the newcomer, she'd gotten all sorts of greetings from different customers though she couldn't recall ever getting a bow up until now. " You're most welcome! Thank you for such a polite greeting!" On the topic of choosing what option of food and drink to go with the Majin would smile sweetly when Zriracha decided on... All of the above! " Ooh! Can do! Give me just a moment to get all that for you~" The clap of thunder made Patrona's little cake dinosaur friends-- Jaje especially, whimper lightly from the back room and the majin would disappear for a moment to console them in their little makeshift cubby house made out of cardboard boxes from past ingredients deliveries. Once they were calmed down though she would quickly return back, the Satyr's flinch hadn't gone unnoticed either, " Oh deary, would it help if I closed down some of the window blinds and put on the radio to drown out the storm a little?" While preparing the drinks and dumplings for Zriracha, the majin was happy to also converse especially if it helped the other girl keep her mind off of the storm outside, " I've only met a small handful of other Majin myself too honestly! I wonder where they all could be" She was sure there were others she just hadn't met yet though, somewhere out there! On the question on if she was native to Earth or not she paused for a few moments though before answering; " To be entirely honest sugar, I'm not exactly sure of the answer to that myself! I grew up here and have been here for as long as I can remember but I grew up with an Earthling family that took me in when I was just a little gumdrop, I haven't got much memory of anything prior to that" The majin almost knocked the jar full of marshmallow's that she had just set down so that she could put some into the hot chocolate once it was ready when Zriracha suddenly bolted up and knocked her chair over, the suddenness of it surprising her. " Oh! It's quite alright! I forgot to I forgot to properly introduce myself as well!" The pink majin would give Zriracha an understanding smile to let her know there was no harm done, a late introduction was better then never! " I'm Ezpectra Patrona, but you're welcome to just call me Patrona~ It's lovely to have you here Zriracha! You're more then welcome to ask any questions you'd like, I'm happy to answer! Conversation helps keep things cozy especially during storms like the one outside" Speaking of- Another crack of thunder sounded and after the demon gave a bleat in response, Patrona would set down the hot chocolate she'd finished making nearby the Satyr with a supportive smile. " You're safe in here, it'll pass I promise! I'll have the dumplings done for you soon too and the coffee!" The hot chocolate she had given her was rather different to that of the usual ones, this one was pink! And had whipped cream on top with an assortment of sweet goodies stuck in amoungst the cream. " Shouldn't be too long! But I want to make sure they're nice and warm for you!" Returning behind the counter to continue on the sweet dumplings, she would smile, wanting to keep up conversation since it seemed to have helped the Demon settle down a bit beforehand, " So Zriracha of Chakkapak, is that right? I've heard a lot of demons tend to be quite magically inclined! Is that true for you my dear?"

When Patrona had returned, Zriracha’s gaze still looking at the window as lightning flashed, the question would have her reflexively shake her head – although grateful. “In spite of the loud noise, the rain is… a conflicting comfort,” She tried to explain with a soft smile. Afterwards, however, Zriracha would enjoy the distraction of Patrona speaking. Even if it came with odd answers. The Satyr cocked her head to the side, uncertain how one could lack of knowledge of where they were born or… perhaps she was brought into existence? Still, she must have loved Earth like her home all the same as Zriracha had begun to do. “E-Ezpectra? A very interesting name,” Zriracha nodded, flinching as the thunder was still so oddly disconcerting. It made a mess of her pride, what little of it she could have hoped to retain, “I-I shall endeavor to call you P-Patrona,” As the mug of hot chocolate was placed next to her, another welcome distraction, Zriracha would suddenly find herself looking over the lovely concoction of colors with great interest. How… intriguingly bizarre! She looked up to the Majin and gave a grateful and simple bow, “I… know I am safe, but thank you all the same.” As she went to go check on the food, the Satyr hurriedly picked up the mug. Clear enough to see through, she was so fascinated by the colors and toppings that she almost forgot to moderate how she drank the beverage and quickly took a sip – only to give a soft grunt as it burnt her tongue a little. How delightful! A drink that burned you but tasted GOOD?! She went back for another, taking pleasure in the sugary burn until it was nearly completely drained. Just in time for Patrona to appear with the dumplings and another round of questions. Fun ones! With a nod, wiping her face of the pink milk-mustache on her face, Zriracha elaborated, “You’d be correct! My clan is primarily pacifist, so my abilities are more … illusory-based.” As if to make a point, right after having taken a generous drink of her hot chocolate, Zriracha raised a hand and (with a loud POOF!) materialized another that was completely full and ready to drink. However, just as it came, it was quickly gone with a POOF! Zriracha stared at her hand where the drink had once been, before looking back at Patrona with a weak smile. “It’s… not perfect, I’m afraid. On that topic,” She held the drink up, her brows furrowed as she spoke with comical severity, “This is amazing.” Just before she grinned, “How is it made?!” Patrona

Patrona would give an understanding smile accompanied by a nod, she would have to agree that the rain sure was comforting and would be more so without the accompanied lighting and thunder! " The rain really is quite lovely to listen to I have to agree! But if the storm becomes a bit much just let me know, okay?" Giving another giggle the majin would hold a hand over the lower half of her face for a few moments, " Oh thank you-- I find it quite the odd name myself and people tend to have an easier time with just Patrona, but I am very grateful for both names!" More thunder meant more flinching from the Satyr which would make the majin give a more concerned smile but at least it was true that she would be safe inside here. Besides the hot chocolate she delivered seem to be well received and a nice distraction for Zriracha! The reaction she had when trying out the pink hot chocolate was quite amusing to say the least but also rather endearing to Patrona. The curious interest of the design of it to the hurried way she picked up the mug to take a sip was part of why the majin enjoyed her job so much and strived to put her best into every beverage and meal she made! By the time the dumplings were ready to take over to her Zriracha had already nearly fully drained her drink which put the warmest smile on Patrona's face to see! Setting the dumplings down on the Satyr's table and lifting the top off the little basket bowl she'd set them in to reveal the dumplings themselves, which were shaped like little pigs! Though they were of course filled with chocolate. The majin was very impressed with the other lady's display of magic and clapped her hands after having set the dumplings down. Maybe it was more illusion-based but she found magic to be so fascinating in truth and that included this kind of magic! " Oh that's lovely! Pacifist type magic can be so beautiful though! I love when people put their abilities out there to make others smile!" When Zriracha said it wasn't perfect though Patrona would wave a hand lightly, " Oh but you'll just keep getting better and better though dear! It's all practice, right?" Patrona would giggle lightly when asked about the drink and how it was made, placing a hand on one cheek feeling rather flattered. " Oh! Well... With a lot of practice around working with milk and cream and boiled water and sweets really! I could teach you sometime if you'd like?" The majin by now had headed back behind the counter to start working on the coffee the Satyr had also asked for, but kept up conversation since it was both soothing to have going amidst the storm and also because the other lady was quite the interesting individual! " So hun! If you don't mind me askin', you said you were from the Demon Realm, right? So Earth is a new place for you? How's that been going? Have ya met and made some friends already? I hope it's been a lovely experience for you!"

Still very much taken by the drink, Zriracha was slurping away at it with stars in her eyes as Patrona described how she’d made it and had even offered to show her how to make it! Such an offer had her tail twitch faster and she pulled the straw from her mouth to respond, “I would be most grateful if you would! I have… a way to try and replicate it myself, after I learn, but I know a certain small kitten that would absolutely love this!” And perhaps an Arcosian as well! She would add silently, imagining what her love’s face would look like as he tried such a sweet treat. As she finished her drink, and Patrona had started on her coffee, Zriracha heard another set of questions and perked up. More small talk, but the Satyr loved answering questions all the same and gave a hearty nod before pulling the drink away from her lips again, “I am and Earth is my first mortal planet I’ve ever been on.” She paused, bringing a hand up as she thought about her own response. How Earth had treated her and the people she’d met… honestly, if she didn’t know it was all real, she might have thought that it had all just been a very long and vivid dream. She smiled, looking down at her drink, “It has been… quite an adventure, I have to say. From the desire to rule this planet to simply… wanting to protect it-” She looked back at Patrona with a wink, “-for my own interests of course. It feels as if I’ve changed as a person, or… perhaps in general?” She ended in a question, uncertain exactly how she felt. “I’ve met many whom I can call a friend and a select few that I would dare to call family as well.” Her face flushed a little, laughing, “A lover as well, if one could believe it. I never expected such a small mortal planet could be such a hotbed of change.” She looked at Patrona, “How has Earth been for you? Have you also thought of a family or… maybe even someone to care for personally?” She hadn’t quite gotten a good look at the little cake-children, but she could assume they were like thralls or creations of a sort, as Majins were quite capable of doing. The majin couldn't help but to giggle lightly at the Satyr's reaction to being offered a showing on how to make the pink hot chocolate-- The tail wiggle was too cute! " Oooh! A kitten!?" Patrona would practically squeal in delight at the mention of said creature, " I would be more then happy to serve some to the kitten at any time! Tell ya what I could whip up some more hot chocolate for ya and put it in a takeaway cup for you to take home if you'd like too!" The majin was more then happy to have someone who liked her beverage so much so that they wanted to learn how to make it! Truth be told, she was eager to teach her! During her preparation of the coffee Patrona would listen to Zriracha's answers, which were incredibly interesting to say the least! Her first mortal planet? Just where abouts had this Satyr been before? Oh the adventures Patrona was sure she had had! Zriracha felt incredibly honest in her answers even going so far as to mention her previous interest to rule the Earth and most would find this quite alarming to hear but Patrona hear many stories in her line of work from all walks of life and different kinds of people. She found that someone wanting to 'rule' a planet didn't always mean they wanted to rule in a bad way. What did impress her though was hearing that the other woman had seemingly had a change of heart during her time here already. Having made herself some friends and family here on Earth-- and even a potential partner! Needless to say the majin felt rather heartfelt about the answer given to her by the other girl. " Oh Sugar, that was such a lovely answer! I'm so so happy for you!" Patrona felt warmth come to her own cheeks at just how much the answer made her smile! While frothing the milk of the coffee the majin would add; " Ain't it funny how such big changes can come from such a lil planet? If you don't mind me askin' what's ya partner like~? I hope they're as sweet as you've been today!" When the questions came back to her she was finishing off the last touches to the coffee and seemed to somehow go a little pinker in the face at some of the things that were asked. " Oh! Me?" Pressing one of her hands against a cheek she would giggle lightly before continuing, " Well, Earth's been rather lovely, it gave me a wonderful earthling family from the get-go and continues to bring new friends in almost each and every day!" Bringing out some chocolate powder for the top of the coffee froth she'd smile before continuing, " I uhm... I have had family on the mind recently though and the like, there's one guy I've met who brings out a special sorta smile from me and gets me all warm in the cheeks! But I've been rather busy working here and at a partnered business spot, as well as taking care of my little dino babies so I've not had the chance yet to be anything more then friends with the lad" Patrona would rub her hands together and glanced aside for a few moments still looking rather flushed though she wasn't bothered by the question being asked, more so bothered by the fact she hadn't gotten to pursue somethings she'd wanted to. She shook this off though as the coffee was done! " Speaking of those little rascals, I can let them out from the back if you'd like to meet them! First things first though hun-- Here's your coffee to go with the dumplings!" With a sweet smile she'd set down the cup of coffee which had cute shaped foaming on top. " I hope you enjoy it and the dumplings just as much as the hot chocolate! If you'd like anything else you just let me know~"

Grateful for the extra coffee that Patrona offered, Zriracha would give her a brief word of thanks before the question about what Polarus was like was posed. That was certainly an answer to ponder, given Zriracha wasn’t exactly sure what was appropriate to tell about him or not. “W-Well, I…” Clearing her throat, Zriracha looked down at the little pig-styled dumplings and distracted herself by picking one up and eating it whole, chewing and taking in the fresh flavors as the popping hot heat permeated her mouth. When she finished, having thought of a few things thing that felt safe to say, Zriracha would speak softly, “He is… a gentleman. Honorable and sweet, but no less the powerful figure of royalty that he proclaims himself to be.” A flash of a memory; of Whisker and Polarus as they enjoyed a party together. Her eyes lowered, half-lidded, “And all the aspects a woman could desire in… a family man, I would say…” When the spotlight of the conversation was back on Patrona, Zriracha was grateful to just keep herself entertained by the little piglets and popped them in her mouth one at a time to enjoy. At the mention of a ‘special lad’, the Demon was on that faster than fight was on a Saiyan, leaning in devilishly, “A ‘lad’?” She teased, chuckling as she eyed her from the prep table she was still making her coffee at. When she was finished and the coffee was placed in front of her, little bright red stars would comically flash in Zriracha’s eyes as the little shape of a dog would appear to reach out to her, By the Gods-! So enamored with the visual aesthetic, Zriracha almost didn’t hear Patrona’s offer to allow her to see the little ones she was talking about. With the cup at her lips, eagerly sipping at it, Zriracha made a sound of impatience and gently put the cut down, “It’s fantastic, yes! Oh, please – let me see the little ones. I absolutely adore children,” She grinned, her fangs glinting blatantly as she reached for another dumpling. Patrona
