Current PL: 101,000 In the busy town of West City, there was hardly a lack of things to do. Morning had just peaked beyond the horizons and many of the sleeping inhabitants had awoken for their daily ablutions. Among these, and hardly an exception, was the Satyr woman with a penchant for sleeping in the various parks of the metropolis. Against a tree, snoozing silently, Zriracha would awaken to the sound of children playing – likely locals that didn’t live far from the playground areas. She gave a long, languid stretch, popping a few joints that were stiff from sitting up-right against a tree, before she yawned widely. Once awake, the she’d taken to one of the water fountains and gave her face a wash before settling into a leisurely walk. Training would likely come later, but… given her sloth-like nature, she could have easily just bypassed it completely. However, what she couldn’t pass up - -was food. Luckily for her, a food truck aptly named ‘The Morning Report’ was open and ready for her (very illegally) crafted currency. With a handful of egg burritos in hand, something she’d never tried before, the Satyr returned to the sanctuary of her trees and hopped into one to settle along a branch with her furred hooves swinging contentedly. Pankaa's PL: 44,500
It was another early but lovely morning! Nero had work again today and as per usual Pankaa got up and ready, dressing in a cute pair of overalls with a soft coloured shirt underneath and a cute bunny-shaped bow tie before setting off with Nero when he had to head out so he wasn't late for work. While the young avali couldn't come in and work with him he didn't mind that as much as he used to as he had found fun and enjoyment out of wandering around Nero's place of work while waiting for him to finish. He'd even made a handful of friends from doing such too! Today was no different! It was another great day to make even more friends and so he was quick to set out, waddling through the streets and across the roads at the stop light crossings until he reached a rather nicely sized park. It was different to the one he had met Kayen in and there were already other children playing, perfect! However-- The other children didn't keep his attention long as he noticed another individual who had just been asleep by the look of it until just now. Pankaa would watch curiously as this lady wandered over to a water fountain and rather then drinking from it, would wash her face with the water instead! He'd never seen anyone do that before! Confused but even more curious then before he would waddle after her since she didn't exactly stay by the water fountain. Though that being said the little space raptor didn't want to seem rude for staring either so he figured it was best he introduce himself! Waiting until she had gotten her food and had settled onto a branch of a tree, Pankaa would rush over soon after to the base of the tree she had hopped into, waving his winged arms in an excited manner as he looked up at her. " Halo Miss! Good Mow-... Mo... Morning!!" He seemed extra happy when he eventually got the one word right and didn't seem too bothered that he had gotten the very first word wrong. Unable to fly up into the tree thanks to Earth being such a drastically different planet to his birth planet, he would have to think of other ways to get up in the meantime and for now he chose to try and climb! Digging his little claws into the base of the trunk as he attempted to make his way up so he could sit on a branch too-- There was so much more to see from that height that he wasn't capable of seeing from the ground afterall! " My name Pankaa! How'd you get up there so ee zee's?"

She’d just been about to unwrap her delectable delight when a sudden call from below had the Satyr pause and look around. When she finally looked down to see a small orange-haired creature in what couldn’t be described as children’s clothes, her eyes had widened to nearly plate-sized saucers. What in the hell’s below is this? Gaping at the creature that she knew could put even the cutest hellions to shame, Zriracha finally made to respond to the creature, “G-Good morning! Uh…” She was at a loss for what to say and nearly jumped out of her skin as they began to climb up the tree like a kitten climbs up a pair of jeans. She eased away a little, nervous around the social ball of fluff, and tentatively she sniffed at it as if it were something… well, it WAS something strange, at least to her. Pankaa was their name and, though their speech could have used work, Zriracha was humbled that such a being was interested in her. And truth be told… she was quite charmed by how adorable Pankaa was. Her fluffed tail twitching with interest, Zriracha calmed down enough to respond, “Well, I am able to jump really high and, well… levitate, though I know some mortals can fly using their Ki.” She grinned, doing just that and levitating off the branch entirely to float upside down. "I use magic!"Her hair falling due to the gravity, the Satyr would grin at Pankaa from upside down and introduce herself, “I am known as Zriracha of Chakkapak. I am a Demon. What, may I ask, are you?” She spun sideways, leveling herself back out and crossing her arms with her wrapped food still in hand. It could wait a little longer. Pankaa

Clambering his way up the tree with his little claws, Pankaa only had a few moments of seeming like he might slip back down to the base of the tree or fall off entirely before he eventually reached the branch the Satyr was on. Upon reaching it and after having made sure he had his balance, the young avali would throw his arms up and give an excited squeak! Happy he'd made it up the tree on his own!
When sniffed at though Pankaa would tilt his head lightly, causing his ears on the one side to flop over to the other slightly. He'd not had that greeting before, people on this planet were so diverse in the way they communicated to others! Thinking it'd be polite, the avali would sniff back at Zriracha before giving a small laugh and clapping his hands together, this greeting was much funner then shaking hands! He would have to show Papa Nero about this way!
Placing his little hands over his mouth for a moment to hold in a giggle, Pankaa would point to the Demon's tail after briefly catching how it twitched, "I like your tail!" Eventually he'd plop himself down on the branch so that he was more stable and balanced up on the branch though he would keep some distance between himself and Zriracha to be polite.
"Le-... Lebitate! Pankaa can do that sometimes but never when I wanna!" Crossing his little winged arms and huffing lightly the avali hoped one day he'd get the hang of his powers! For now though they were mostly random and seemed to react based on emotional responses. Seeing the demon float off the branch and hang upside down though seemed to lift his spirits back up again and he'd give a big smile along with a cute little round of applause for Zriracha's trick, "Wow!!! Pankaa wants to be as good as you one day!" He was unsure if his levitation was through magic or through ki but he was hopeful that maybe one day either one of them could help restore his flight that had left him to moment he had been dropped off on Earth.
The young space raptor looked a little intimidated about trying to repeat Zriracha's name, it was very different to most of the names he had learnt so far! "What a pretty name! Pankaa is an Ab-... Aba-... Avali!" He struggled with the V but he got there eventually! Though he seemed a little confused at the 'of Chakkapak', placing one claw to his chin before asking; "Um, what's a Chakk-a-pak? If Pankaa can ask?" Looking to the food she had the avali would gasp lightly, "Aaah! Oh no! Is Pankaa interrupting your meal? Very sorry if I am!"

As they seemed to get to know each other, their reactions showing very much their more animalistic tendencies of their species, Zriracha could feel this little creature – This Pankaa – charm his way into her heart. Not that it was very difficult to do so, but the speed at which they had done so had her almost terrified of their ability. She glanced at her tail after it was mentioned before grinning and returning the favor by twitching it more and then responding, “I like your tail, too!” Seeming to speak more on their level of communication and tone; like a caretaker would with a curious child. As he ranted and raved with excitement only a child could possess, Zriracha cocked her head to the side with a contented smile, resting her cheek in a hand as they seemed to struggle with their own species. She’d never heard of the ‘Avali’, but she wasn’t very knowledgeable about other species in the mortal realms. Her eyes widened at the question of her clan and then held up her free hand and the one with food in it, quickly appeasing them. “It is no trouble at all, Pankaa!” She assured, laughing softly, “I am able to simply-” Levitating the food in the air, it would suddenly disappear in a flourish of black flames, and Zriracha (performative illusionist that she was) made a dramatic motion with her hands as if to show that it was gone, “-make it disappear. But also…” And just like before and flourish of her hands, she summoned it back from the realm of nothingness, “-Bring it back! Like Magic,” She teased. “I can eat it in a moment or… if you like,” She opened the wrapper and ripped the little burrito in half, handing one to Pankaa, “We can eat it together right now. It tastes better when you eat it with someone; did you know that?” When she was sure Pankaa had a good hold on their food, she continued, undeterred. “Chakkapak is the name of my Clan or… you might call them my family. We are very large and numerous, but they live very far away – in the Realm of Demons,” She explained, taking a bit of her half of the burrito finally – not realizing when she’d bitten into the metal paper but unphased as well. Pankaa seemed very amused by Zriracha's extra tail twitching and gave her another round of applause with his little clawed hands, giving off a soft laugh to accompany it. "Oh, thank you!" He'd look back to his own tail and flared the end feathers out for a few moments before letting them rest back into place. "Mine can't wiggle same as yours! But it nice tail still" He could get it to waver side to side a little bit but not twitch to the same degree as her little tail!
The young avali let out a squeak of surprise seeing the Satyr make her own food disappear in a puff of black flames before then bringing it back seemingly out of nowhere! "Wow! Pankaa wants to learn that! Amazing!" Now that was something he for sure had to tell Papa Nero about once he got home! When handed a half of the burrito, Pankaa would carefully take hold of it and set it in his lap with a big smile on his face, "Thank you so much! Pankaa is very grapeful!" He'd tilt his head though, flopping his ears over again, "I didn't know that! That must be part of why Papa says it's good to share! Now Pankaa knows! Thank you!"
He would politely take a couple small bites into his part of the burrito he was gifted as Zriracha explained what Chakkapak was, as it turned out it was her family clan! Pankaa had one of those before being dropped on Earth but he was too young to remember the name and had taken to locking those memories away for the most part as they were too upsetting for him to really think hard on for now. Though he supposed it couldn't hurt too much to mention a few things to his new friend, "Pankaa know of Clans! Clans very important... Good to keep close and safe" Though he wasn't exactly sure what the Realm of Demons was, maybe the name of another planet he was unfamiliar with? "Pankaa had family clan on Avalon, but new family now on Earth" He'd look to his burrito after seeing the Satyr eat part of the metal foil around the food, was he supposed to eat that too? He had no idea! Thank goodness he had Zriracha here to teach him!
"Pankaa would like to visit the Realm of Demons someday, to see Chakk-a-pak!" He'd smile again before going to take another bite, this time chewing off some of the metal paper too-- It tasted rather funny and the texture was very odd to say the least but not all food on Earth could be as delicious as pancakes after all but the burrito was a gift so he would enjoy it nonetheless! "If Chakk-a-pak is in Realm, is it okay for Pankaa to ask why Z... Zri... Cha! Why Cha here? Is it for holiday?"

“Someday, you may just do that,” Zriracha encouraged with a soft smile, tickled that such a youngling wanted to emulate any of her magical prowess. The sheer innocence of their responses was like being back home again with the younglings as they learned about the realm around them. While she didn’t know whom Pankaa belonged to and was cared for by, she had a feeling that their guardian was more than capable if they taught them such values. Zriracha couldn’t help but wonder what species they were if… they weren’t the same as on Avalon. Perhaps she was wrong, however, as they were just with extended family. It wasn’t her business. As he ate into the burrito again and took a generous piece of the wrapper, his following statement had the Demon chew more slowly as she worried about it. While she didn’t see any reason to NOT tell him, unable to boast being a good liar, Zriracha didn’t want them to ever get hurt. “The Realm of Demons is a little scary, young one,” She warned gently, finishing her food with a contemplative swallow. “Maybe, when you’re older and more powerful, you can go there, but… Demons aren’t always nice.” She didn’t want to teach a child this – certainly not with their parent absent for the moment. She diverted to his question, “I came here on dare, if you can believe it,” She playfully laughed, “Among my people, I was quite strong and I wanted to be stronger and eventually lead them some place that they could be happy. Without war and… without anyone being hurt anymore.” She crossed her arms, her smile a little more sad. “But I was angry and… ignorant to what that might take. Who else might get hurt. I realize that, while I still want to help my people… it can’t be at the cost of putting everyone in danger.” And suddenly, guilt was present – guilt that she was using the innocence of a child to explain something much more complex than they should ever be exposed to. “I’m sorry, that wasn’t a very fun story, was it?” Pankaa

Zriracha's encouraging smile made the avali wiggle his clawed feet and smile back at her, he hoped she was right of course! He would have to train and practice really hard no doubt but it'd all be worth it in the end! Though when it was pointed out to him that the Realm of Demons was a bit scary he seemed both even more curious and a smidge bit fearsome of it. He was warned that he could go maybe when he was older and stronger but that demons weren't always nice... Pointing a little clawed finger at the Satyr, Pankaa would tilt his head "B..But...- But you are nice!" Though he supposed he was also nice but had also met not nice Avali's... But this was true of most species, right? "Pankaa is very brave! Promise! ... Maybe one day Demon Realm? Pankaa will get even more brave! More bigger! More power!"
Since he was a child it was rather easy to divert the topic away though and when she did he wouldn't question it especially since she was answering something he'd asked! "Oh? Dare?" That's a very big dare! Bigger then any Pankaa had heard of at least, most dares he had heard of were things like eating a fistful of sand or stuff your mouth full of marshmallows and sing a nursery rhyme. But coming to a planet on a dare? Now that was impressive!
After having explained the rest of the reason why Zriracha seemed apologetic for having done so which confused the little avali on why. "It okay, not every story can be fun" Pankaa would offer her a warm smile, he certainly had his fair share of less then fun stories too. "Everybody make mistake! Pankaa make many, but... Pankaa sure Cha will work out things! Cha is very clever!" To him her want to help her people was the most important part regardless and so long as she had that want she was pretty good in his book. Another part he could relate to though was that she wanted to be stronger.
"Pankaa also want to be stronger, make Papa proud of him! Once Pankaa strong enough-- maybe go back to Avalon to find family clan someday. Pankaa would like that very much..." After taking another little bite and gripping on a little tighter to his food, the avali would look up to the sky for a moments wondering where about the direction of his home planet was, right now he couldn't exactly tell though he had searched for it many nights. Hoping to distract himself a little and to lighten the mood for his new friend he'd attempt another question, "Have Cha made other friends while here on dare?"

Cooly surprised at the little Avali’s mature response, Zriracha’ slightly shocked expression would smooth into one of warmth and gratitude, giving a nod to the youngling before she released a soft sigh, “You are quite wise for your age,” She brought a hand up and poked Pankaa playfully, “-and too kind to this one! Clever is quite a compliment, hahaha!” It was such a nice change, enjoying a meal with a youngling and just exchanging innocent pleasantries. To express such a strong interest in becoming stronger; to try and find one’s family on a completely different planet, in fact… Zriracha couldn’t help herself, “You’re already quite strong, I see,” She offered, cocking her head to one side and she looked at Pankaa, “To desire such things at such a young age; never forget that feeling, the desire you have. It will surely lead you down the right path, and so long as you never give up on what you want – you will become stronger, I promise you.” With a final little grin, Zriracha was soon presented with a question. She thought for a moment, having heard this before, and a little more prepared to answer, “Yes, I… I have. Some I can call friends, others are… like a mentor to me. Someone to follow and become stronger by, and-” She paused, thinking about Polarus and Whisker, looking Pankaa for a moment as she wondered if she should speak of the romantic kind of love. He already knew what a family was, and… well, that was enough for her. “-And a family here, I think. Well, I-” She fumbled about, red in the face as she looked down at the ground. “I would like them to be. It-It’s hard because of more complicated reasons.” Such a being a Demon that had desires and compulsions, possibly beyond her control. Her shoulders slumped a little, disheartened but forcing a smile as she tried to keep a brave face, “Can you… tell me about your Papa? He takes care of you while you’re on Earth, correct?” She was so curious as to whom the generous soul that took in a young thing like Pankaa was. Was he human? A scientist? A warrior? Someone she knew, even? Pankaa

Pankaa seemed rather proud of himself to be called wise and would give a toothy grin before bursting into childish giggling that sounded similar to that of bird chirps, at being poked by the Satyr- trying to grab at one of her fingers with his own little clawed hands in response. "Pankaa tell only truth!" -Or at least he did tell what was truth to him! Fluffing his top head feathers and fluff afterwards he'd settle down his laughter and took a couple more little bites of his gifted food... When Papa was free he would have to ask him if they could get his new friend here some pancakes to try in return! It had to be from Nero though, cause Nero made them the best!
The avali seemed a little starry eyed at being told he was already quite strong-- especially by someone who had said prior that she was strong herself among her own people. Fluttering one of his winged arms up and down in his excitement, only keeping the other calm as he didn't want to accidentally fling his food, Pankaa would cheep "Really?! Pankaa train with Papa when he can!" Looks like Nero wasn't kidding about practice paying off then if other people were noticing! Though the part about not forgetting the feeling he had confused him a little the young space raptor was sure it was very important advice. "Oh, Okay! Pankaa promise to never forget then!" If she promised that he'd become stronger, he had to make a promise back! That's how they worked, right?
When speaking of friends and family the little avali seemed very happy to hear Zriracha had other friends, mentors even! Wiggling his little bird-like feet he'd smile though he didn't understand why she seemed hesitant or unsure on the part about family, "Pankaa have friend too! Kabe is Pankaa's best friend! Kayen! Pankaa likes Kayen! She help him fly again for little bit, many friends on Earth!" There was of course also Nashi who had pancakes and played with him! Nashua who he'd met at Kabe's birthday party! Carro who was the nice man who had made Pankaa able to walk around safely without burning up or having to wear a funny suit and so many more! "Cha would like them to be? Has Cha asked? Maybe Pankaa could ask for Cha!"
Pankaa's four ears faced forwards a bit more at Zriacha's shoulder slump, he could tell something was up but wasn't exactly sure what or why she slumped but what he was sure of was maybe a bit of cheering up or change of subject could get her mind off things! When asked about Nero his neck feathers would fluff up proudly as he nodded enthusiastically in response. "Yes yes! Papa is like Kayen! Saiyan! He's very tall and strong! He make the best pancakes too! That how he found Pankaa!" That last part probably didn't make as much sense as he would've liked it to but he kept going regardless! "He have short hair on one side, like Kayen does! But opposite side! He worky a lot at different places, Pankaa want to be just like Papa Nero when he big too! One day Pankaa hope to be taller then Papa, one day!" That was a fair amount of praise for just one person and a lot more compliments more-so then explanation but the avali knew that had it not of been for Nero... "Pankaa probably wouldn't be here with Cha right now if not for Papa, he Pankaa's hero!"

As Pankaa named off a couple of their friends, a sudden rush of concern caused Zriracha’s eyes to widen as Kayen was named off as one of them. Blinking in equal parts confusion and worry, Zriracha cocked her head to the side as she listened carefully, giving a soft chuckle at the thought of the little thing asking Polarus if Zriracha and him could be a family. Honestly… the entire thought had her nearly snort from laughter as she imagined the completely disheveled look upon his face. It was a needed distraction just before Pankaa expressed that Kayen was like Nero. She knew Kayen and how rough around the edges the Queen was, but not this… Nero person. Zriracha didn’t bother to hold back the look of disbelief on her face as Pankaa told her that it was pancakes that had brought him and his guardian together. “Food does bring people together!” She agreed, her boisterous laughter echoing through the tree as people passed by to look toward the park curiously. Further description of Nero and how similar they were had the Demon so BEYOND curious that she wondered if she could find this Saiyan soon after meeting Pankaa. Surely, he would be around this one at least once a day, but… No, that would be very inappropriate, Zriracha dismissed the idea. If Nero was related to Kayen in some way, then it was just a matter of time before the fates entwined them in such a way for them to meet. With a soft smile, Zriracha brought a hand up to gently run her claws through Pankaa’s feathers, “I am grateful to him as well, as your presence has been a warmth today that I… didn’t realize I might have needed,” Smiling gratefully down at Pankaa. Speaking of warmth, however, Zriracha could feel through the sunbeams of the shade that quite a bit of time had passed and the cool dew of the morning had begun to evaporate. “My goodness, the day is just rushing by so quickly,” She looked back at Pankaa, “I wouldn’t want to upset your guardian if he worries where you are.” She cocked her head to the side, “It was nice meeting you, Pankaa,” She held out a hand in an offer of a hand-shake. While she would have loved to have spent more time with the little one, there was still so much work to do… and so little time to do it in. Pankaa

Pankaa would give a toothy grin when Zriracha pointed out that food brought people together, this was true! Her breakfast food being shared had brought them together for one! He'd also met Nashi through pancakes! Nashua through Kabe's birthday party... Which had food! And Kabe ate just about everything, when Pankaa had first met him he was practically eating the wooden blocks at daycare! Though the avali was fairly sure those weren't supposed to be food though Kabe chewed them anyway. The avali looked both proud of himself and happy that he had managed to make his new friend laugh even though his ask for telling Polarus himself was fully serious, he'd wiggle his little clawed legs anyway, happy to hear her laugh some more! Perhaps he was funnier then he thought he was? He should let Papa know once he was off work! When the Satyr ran her claws through Pankaa's feathers the avali would make a soft cooing noise, similar to that of a pigeon as the feathers along the end of his tail fluffed out. He was glad to hear he had brought her warmth she didn't realize she needed though he wondered how he provided her with warmth when he hadn't even given her a hug! " Pankaa happy to help! Especially when helping new friends!" He was very glad he made the choice to come to the park today and more so to approach the Satyr when he did, he'd made so many great friends when out and about! All it took was a little leap of courage on his part to approach people. It was nice to hear from someone else that they too were grateful for his Papa even though he was sure she hand't met him in person yet. Though as lovely as she was to hang out with he understood that she probably had other things to do that she needed to attend to! She was bigger and older then him afterall which meant she could of had a job that Pankaa himself was too young for-- Or just other adult things that keep adults busy! Either way he would smile up at her and take her offered handshake- Though his hand was much smaller he still did his best to grab onto her's and give it a good shake to be friendly. " Papa might be finishing work shift soon so Pankaa should go wait for him!" He would stand up on the tree branch they had been sitting on and would waddle over to the Satyr to give her a small goodbye hug, giving his tail a wiggle like he had done when trying to imitate her tail from before " It was Pankaa's pleasure! Hope we can meet again! Peas be safe out there!" When he finally let go of the hug, the avali would give a little wave to the demon before spreading out his arms to flare his arm wings, using them to glide down from the tree branch and back down to the grass of the park below. He couldn't fly naturally but he could still glide! Giving one last little wave Pankaa would shout back one last thing to the Satyr before happily hopping on back to Punchin' Pancakes to wait for Nero's shift to end, waving to other people on his way back; " Pankaa hope Cha have a wonderful day!" Thread Exit! Thank you for such a fun, cute little thread ;; Hope these two can meet again!

The sudden hug had the Satyr give a shocked expression of surprise before she gently wrapped her own arms around him, returning the small embrace with a smile. Inside, humbled by the little Avali, Zriracha was left to wonder how such a kind creature had come to Earth. Truly, this planet did seem to attract all kinds of beings – big and tall, strong and… not so strong. As they parted, Zriracha would give a small nod and watch as Pankaa would glide down to the ground. With the rest of her food in her hand unfinished, the Satyr decided that she’d had enough of it for now and dematerialized it back to her own little pocket dimension.
With a firm THUNK, she landed in the grass and returned to the wave before looking in the direction of the small bookstore she’d recalled and walking off.
