After the first week of training of his new powers Garruk was starting to get the hang of it, at least most of the time. He still had awkward moments where he might forget to catch a item he was working with or he might forget that he was meant to hold it up longer, the resulting chaos very commonly ending with the object crashing to the ground or even worse his head. It was starting to feel like a part of him as he went about days working with paper work and training, the ladder being what he was currently working at. The ark was being put though its paces as Garruk cranked up the gravity to the max, a amazing hundred and fifty times earth gravity. A feat that he had been working on since he had arrived on the planet and the fact he was still no where near his goals made him realize just how amazing some of the fighters out there really where. He was so close to reaching a new level of power, every training session teasing him to go just a little further and the power would be waiting for him. So far the power remained just out of his reach but he was sure it would not be long till it was his to command.
With a deep breath Garruk stilled his mind and prepared for the next round of training, his new daily sessions working on building up his body even further while integrating his new abilities. A task that was far harder then he had imagined , the constant need to focus on multiple things at one time was already a daunting task in the chaos of battle. However it was not all a loss as Garruk slowly developed patterns allowing him to focus more on using his fists rather then just his new new powers, the small Acrosian throwing punch after punch till his arms ached. His sore body protesting the constant exposure to the increased gravity when exposed to it for any real length of time, his body able to move around in the gravity fine but he still lacked the stamina required for prolonged exposure.
With his mind drifting off Garruk wondered just how much he had left to go to reach the top of the fighting world, just how far ahead was the powers he out post had recorded all over the world. Just how much could those people handle? Just what kind of training did those people have to do to reach where they were now and just what training did they undertake to get there. As much as it bugged him Garruk could not exactly go out and find one of them to ask, his pride would not let him when he was just so far behind in power. He wondered about the Arcosian that had attacked breach, her power back then was already stronger then he was now. He could only imagine she was still getting stronger and he could not help feeling like he was slipping further and further behind them as he struggled just to master this gravity chamber. Gritting his teeth Garruk threw himself back into his training, each strike sharper then before as he worked himself even harder.
After his last set back Garruk knew the importance of resting and was currently sitting down in the chamber, the weary Arcosian resting his bones as he worked on some more subtle training. In this case he was working on using his mind to do delicate tasks such as lifting up glass cups or threading a needle, both tasks training him to control just how much power used to lift a object and the ladder adding a level of complexity to the task. Keeping a object still while you tried to move the thread though was just as difficult as doing it with your hands if not more so, each object shaking in the air as he tried his hardest to keep them still. It was not till he missed another couple times that garruk let out a cry of frustration, the small Arco flopping to the ground as he just lay there. His mind blank as he just layed down and let his mind wonder aimlessly.
He wondered how Kabocha was doing with her problem, a small part of him worried the doctor would make a small mistake when working on her. Or that she might get hurt trying to get stronger to defend their world, a part of him feeling guilty at the fact that he had not truly explained just how dangerous it was to try. The fact he had still not manged to bring up her sister still bothered him however even if he could not find the right time to tell her, each day only making it worse for him to not tell her. He wanted to be honest about it all and was putting it off till he was sure it would not mess with her heart, however he knew that was a lie by now. He was simply avoiding telling her and it would come back to bite him if he was not careful.
She was working hard for her goals and now it was his turn, the small lord chuckling to him as he thought how silly he was being.Closing his eyes Garruk allowed himself a small measure of peace before he finally stood up and stretched his muscles, the small fighter looking for any signs he may have hurt himself. Happy that everything seemed to be working correct Garruk slowly walked back to the cent of the ark to start again, his mind set again on the path he had laid in front him. Gathering his ki once again he took his stance again and prepared himself for another round of training, his mind now free of worry the small lord now only had his body to complain to him.
