Kraktus walked across Mt.Frappe a huge grin on his face. From what he understood a huge battle had taken place here only a few months ago. A battle that shook the foundation of Earth and its warriors. Now what was it? A symbol of hero's failures and success. Warriors of Good and Bad both fell in his battle and for purpose. To repeat that cycle one day. There would never be peace. You could win the day but then lose the next. It is why he didn't care much about people claiming to fight for good. So called hero's might be able to bring it but then what? It would never stay that way. Kraktus cracked a grin as he stretched his arms out to the sky. "That noise the quiet winds blowing past me. It is a perfect. A cold song for a cold world." Krkatus looked around, he saw no signs of damage no doubt covered up or lost to the spring snows that infested the island. How long ago was that epic battle? Kraktus had lost track of time. He had lot track of a lot of things. Kraktus scouter beeped as he picked up a power near by. "Oh someone is close I wonder who it is." Kraktus mused shaking his head. "I might as well." Kraktus kicked flying up to try to cut off the power he sensed.

Auber was initially not sure himself why he had returned to Mt. Frappe, his mind wracked for multiple theories, but none of them sparked his intuition to tell him it was the correct one, or closest to the truth anyway, was it curiosity? or was it perhaps simple monotomy that led him here? The atmosphere certainly proved calming for one of his standards.
In the end, the Saiyan settled for familiarity, Mt. Frappe held a level of danger and isolation from the world that Auber approved of, whether it was to train, or to think, Auber could count on getting himself some alone time in this place, especially since the common folk of Earth wouldn't dare to climb this mountain, and the stronger warriors might not approach it for the history that occured here months ago.
Alas, today is a day Auber would find no peace in isolation, for before his five senses could register it, his sixth sense would easily pick up the colossal power heading his way, Auber merely allowed himself a glance at the approaching being, his recollection providing his silent inquiry, and when it did, Auber merely flashed an enigmatic smile, and a tilt of his head indicating curiosity.
"Greetings, Kraktus."

Kraktus slowly floated down as she spotted who it was. The Saiyan warrior Auber. He didn't expect to see someone like him around here. Last time he saw Auber he had just vanished while he was facing Kalabas. He wondered where that Saiyan was now. There were a lot of questions he had to answer for himself. "Ah, I honestly thought you were dead." Kraktus crossed his arms over his chest as he checked his scouter for an accurate read of Auber's power. He had expected him to grow a lot stronger since he had last seen him. Yet, he was only 80,000. Not to say that was weak but last time he saw him which was a while ago he as merely 50,000. He had seen a lot of warriors grow quite strong very quickly but this didn't seem to be the same. "Huh? You know I thought someone like you would already be a super saiyan? Is the drive missing for you? Or is there something else holding you back?" Kraktus was unsure why he cared but he supposed it was a good conversation starter. He was unsure what else to ask the Saiyan warrior other than Where the fuck had he disspeared too. Though he supposed the same question could be asked to him. He had vanished from public eye for a long time.

Auber didn't try to hide the chuckle that came from his lips, shaking his head in amusement for a few seconds after before looking at Kraktus once more, "You wouldn't be the first to think so." He replied, Auber did expect people to make their own assumptions on what had happened to him during all this time.
Kraktus' next statement would have made Auber frown, but he kept his smile plastered, breathing in the cold air of the mountain before exhaling, "I suppose it's the latter statement." He remarked, turning his body to face the Squid's general direction, "As you've most likely heard, Mt. Frappe was the location of quite the battle." He stated, his hands leaving his pockets to gesture to the cold, icy mountain around them, before lowering them, "But it wasn't the only one." He revealed.
"I took part in another battle that took place in Gemini A, one that ended the life of someone I knew, and one that made me realize some attributes about myself." He explained, he expected Kraktus to use his comrade's death against him sooner or later, one way or another, but Auber was confident his stoic facade would prove effective against the Squid's taunts.

"Hah so everyone else noticed. I assume most of the other folks are not all that smart. They would miss the little details." Kraktus snorted. "But I like to pride myself on remembering everyone I meet and recognizing when they are not active in the universe." Auber seemed to then reavel that something was holding him back and he explained that while the large battle at Mt.Frappe was happening another was taking place. "oh. I was not aware of that." He knew about Namek so Auber was on Namek? For what purpose was he there? Why help the Stargoon, guess that made him an ally of Cress. He wondered if killing Auber would send a message to Cress that he was next. However, before he moves on that he revealed he was not talking about Namek but Gemini A. "Hmmm?" Now Kraktus was interested. Seems he was getting information that he didn't already have. Hopefully, it was useful. Apparently, at the battle, someone he knew had died but is all he said. Kraktus had to admit he was a bit disappointed but he could see that may have held him back. "Sorry to hear that." Kraktus said. He wanted to hear more about Gemini A. So he should be at least curtious to Auber. "So why? Why Gemini A. Why would anyone have such a chaotic battle on a planet so worthless."

Auber's eyes danced with bemusement as Kraktus spoke of how he made a note to recognize everyone he met, but he returned to his well-mannered mask a second later, after all, when it came to Kraktus, you had to be careful of what reaction you demonstrated.
Auber could certainly tell when Kraktus' interest was piqued, and he had gotten it, and a plastic apology to go with it, but he made no comment on it, instead focusing on responding to Kraktus' query about Gemini A, "It wasn't the planet itself that was interesting, it just so happened to be the place the person I knew chose to destroy." He revealed the perpetrator to Kraktus.
He continued on, "He was being self-destructive, I suppose he had also lost someone in his life, but unlike me, he didn't take it so well, he attempted to destroy Gemini A, but a cabal of self-righteous children appeared to stop him." Auber was confused on why Carro Hofferson decided to intervene, but he gave up attempting to figure it out, he never could understand these heroic types.
"They succeeded, I suppose, a few of the Stargoons were there but they didn't do much, and in the end, he was the only one who got killed." Auber did get a good fight out of that little scandal, so it wasn't all bad, but he did find it a shame that a warrior so talented as Scallio got an end like so, he felt like more could have been done, but the past was the past, and Auber will simply move forwards, like he always has.

Kraktus nodded along as he listened to Auber's story. It was not the planet but it was the person who had decided to destroy it. He had decided to blow up the planet. That seemed an odd reason to do it but it sounded like Cress. Though Cress didn't seem the type to have a love. So guess it was someone else. "Wish it was Cress. It would be ironic for that asshole to die." Kraktus snorted. If he died before Krkatus got the chance to punish him he'd be quite angry. Petty emotions were what drove them to blow up a planet? That was foolish. He destroyed things because it was logical. He never let emotions get in the way. He always did what was best for him. Kraktus grunted when he spoke about the stargoons. "Oh, really what were they doing there?" Had the stargoons did something without him agian. Guess he could not blame them this time. He had been relaxing and growing a bit soft for his liking. He needed to start working on recruitment agian and find more people to bring into his fold. He needs a large army if he wanted to destroy everything. Of course, everything was one step at a time. "So what did you realize from this? What is this thing you lack? I am curious if the death of someone close to you has actually given you something useful."

Auber had to actually let out a laugh as Kraktus insulted Cress, "What did he do to you?" Auber inquired with curious amusement, he didn't think anyone other than Kalabas could have agitated Kraktus like this, but he supposed there were surprises in the galaxy that were becoming more and more common.
Kraktus' query about the Stargoons had Auber humming in thought for a moment, "I suppose one of them had a score to settle with the one I knew, I still have no idea what that was about and frankly I couldn't care less." He shrugged, not to say he wasn't interested in what led to Scallio dying, but he was more curious on what had led him to destroy Gemini A in the first place.
Kraktus' final inquiry made Auber pause, what is it that he was lacking? Drive? Motivation? No, Auber was sure he had those, the desire to get stronger was not just a desire to Auber, it was a need, it was something he needed to do.
Auber finally looked at Kraktus, his smile gone, "Initiative." He finally answered, and Auber felt right in saying it, he needed to do things his way, he needed to take initiative, "Believe me when I say that I will be doing things very differently." The deal with Fortuna was the start.
Yes.
Things are going to be different.

"He called me a hero. I stopped him and Vocado from getting the dragonballs. My desire was to have them destroyed. If they obtained them and used them, then the earthlings would keep them around. Now? With all the chaos they have caused? They would have gotten rid of them. Of course then Cress destroyed Namek. So now it is a bit more complex. I don't know how powerful the dragonballs are but I assume they can only heal the damages of a world at a time or at the least the death of one planet will make the owners of the dragonballs feel far more compelled to keep them around in order to mitigate the risk of losing an entire planet forever." Kraktus sneered. "So, in short, he got in the way of my carefully formed plans. And unlike everyone else it is was on accident. That what makes it worse. A complete moron got in my way." Kraktus shook his head.
Kraktus then realized he had gone on a bit of a tangent. Guess he wanted to get that out for a while. He had only really told the Stargoons of his frustrations and he had been sitting around doing nothing for the past few months. I guess this was a good start. When it came to the stargoons he seemed to have no idea. He shook his head. "Shame." Guess he'd have to ask one of them himself at some point. They had a lot to talk about since he had been off the grid for some time. He had to explain that to the goons so they didn't get worried he was going to vanish. As for his query on what Auber lacked, he said it was Initiative. "Oh, I see. So you focused on reaction. You didn't do a thing for yourself you took things others gave you. That is a weakness because you're allowing someone to get what they want. You have to ask yourself what you want." Kraktus crossed his arms. "Then make your dealing and agreements based around that principle."

Auber kept an amused smirk as he listened to Kraktus rant about Cress, and how the genocidal saiyan accidentally got in the way of the Squid's carefully-constructed plans and schemes, Auber could see now why Kraktus was so agitated, they basically stopped him without intending to.
Auber's smirk widened when Kraktus told him of his indecision beforehand, "Worry not, I realize that now, in fact, one could say I've already started." He stated, as said before, having Flip be under the thumb of the Kingdom was merely the start, there are tensions unbound, there are lines and limits waiting to be crossed and broken.
"What are you going to do now?" Auber supposed the question was innocent enough, he didn't really care for any suffering Kraktus might bring unto others, so long as it didn't involve him, if Kraktus wanted to tell a half-truth, that would be fine, it would still give Auber an idea.

"Good. If you sit around you won't get much done." Kraktus still didn't know why he was giving Auber such good advice. Guess he was just in a nice mood. Or maybe he liked helped to build up others who were agiasnt Earth. The more people agiasnt Earth with actual competence the more allies he could have or at least meat shields. It matters the mood Auber had. Then Auber asked what he'd do now. "What I have always have done. I will make my plans slowly and carefully. I am a patient man, I don't believe in running headlong into a fight just to say I am here. Some other like to do that but that makes them known and targets. Take Vocado, he put a target on his back too fast and they waited to strike him down." He looked around the mountain. "but I assume you want to know what I am doing next. Well, I am probably going to wait for Cress to poke his head out then kill him. You insult me you die. It is as simple as that. Plus I can't have him running around. He is the best a distraction and worse a thorn in my side. You'd not happen to know where he is?" He might as well ask he could always rip the information out of Auber if he didn't believe him.

Auber would ponder as well why Kraktus was so amicable in this encounter, but he'd soon come to realize that he really cared not, if Kraktus wasn't being a bother to him, then there was no reason they simply couldn't continue this reasonable little chat, it was after all something that Auber could use to learn more of Kraktus.
He didn't expect Kraktus to actually reveal his course of action but he'd take it nonetheless, he'd only interfere in the Cephalopod's plans if they happened to go against his own or the Kingdom itself, but as it is, the Saiyan has no reason to fight Kraktus, even if he did have the sufficient power for it.
Kraktus revealed he was not someone who recklessly charged in with abandon, and preferred to be patient and calculating, Auber could respect that in a schemer, it was also the most efficient way to carry out your plans, you only would strike when the time and situation was right.
Kraktus revealed another set of information, his next course of action, which turned out to be kill Cress, not surprising if Auber had to give an opinion, Cress did ruin his plans, as the Squid told him, and made him look the fool, so it made sense that he would try to snuff him out.
"I'm afraid I do not, last time anyone I speak with has seen him would most likely be from Namek's destruction, he would do well to lay low for a while." Not to mention Kayen would be hunting for him as well. Auber wasn't sure if he should feel any concern for Cress, they have served together in the Kingdom for a while and sparred with each other, but Auber felt nothing for it, was it because he's technically going against the Kingdom? Auber shook his head.

Kraktus glanced at Auber to try to see if he could decide whether Auber was telling the truth or not. He wanted to see if he actually knew where Cress was. However, as he spoke about not knowing where Cress was he couldn’t tell. That was a pain, he was hopeful that Auber could be helpful. From what Auber said the last person that saw him were the people that saw him on Namek. That would make sense. Cress blew up Namek and taunted the Stargoons as he relished in this victory. Realizing his errors he decided to escape and go into the hiding for the time being. That would have been the best course of action since he made the enemies most. “Well, I believe you. That is a shame he is gone but at least I know where he might be.” Kraktus was sure now he was not on Earth since he wanted to hide and be away from any danger. “So what are you going to do may I ask.” Kraktus was at least a bit curious about what Auber might be doing. Even if he was weak now he may become quite strong and his plans may one day be of use to him or against him.

Auber kept a half-ear to Kraktus making theories and ideas on where to find Cress, if Auber was in his spot, he would search the lesser planets, first, the worlds that have no problem housing criminals and wanted individuals, such as Raiti or Knutts, utilizing the criminal element would be in good wisdom, after all, someone must keep track of information there, right?
Kraktus inquired the question that Auber had asked him earlier, what was he going to do now? A patriot would have told him to continue serving the Kingdom with zeal, a pragmatist would have told him not to reveal anything to Kraktus, despite their well-mannered chat, Kraktus was still an enemy.
No, Auber knew exactly what he was doing, he understood his agenda, "Simple, Kraktus, I'll do what I always have been doing.." He turned to the humanoid cephalopod, a smile with an edge, one that could be called sinister, his eyes boring deep into the Squid's as he smiled, "Giving my kind what they deserve." He spoke, a second of malice, before it was expertly hidden away by smooth acting, smile still plastered on, before he looked away.

Kraktus let his arm falls to his side and rest on his hip. He glanced at Auber carefully observing him see if he could read him with his body movements but nothing came of it. Kraktus must have been out of the game a while. Though he had also meet Auber a few times he imaged Auber had seen him on a few occasions trying to read someone with the expression from there body. However, Auber was kind enough to answer his question. Though he said he was going to give his kind what they deserved that didn't explain much. He had some ideas now but he was still quite clueless in the grand scheme. Kraktus wanted to tread carefully. For all, he knew Auber could be his next big foe. Even beasts with small teeth can take a bite out of the king of beasts. To let arrogance blind him to the possability Auber was a threat would be something a lesser man might do. However, he also was sure Auber was not targeting him. "So I assume what your saying is that you plan to do something about Kayen? By Kind, I assume the Saiyan and how they seemed to be lacking the warpath of Vocado. He was a real saiyan and the rest are what? Jokes?" Kraktus asked his eyes narrowing as he awaited an answer.
