The silence of space could be considered a haven for those seeking freedom from the near constant state of war the galaxy seems to endure through. For a select few groups, even here, in the veritable corpses of starships left behind to drift through space have become a new home. But recently, even this quiet refuge that pirates, smugglers, and refugees alike has been disturbed.
As if to accentuate this broken peace, a series of detonations roll across the surface of a massive warship that had in time past been somehow sheared in half. The detonations tear giant holes through the hull, the flames instantly dissipating in the cold vacuum of space. Bodies filter through the holes, expressions of terror etched across their features. Still more destruction is wrought within the gigantic debris. Within the otherwise clean halls, humanoid aliens fall back as they continue to fire on a figure hidden in a harsh smoke. Flames lick the walls all along the long hallway, desperately trying to feed on something, anything, to fuel their blaze.
"Don't let up! Keep firing!!" a pink, lizard-like being shouts to the various other beings. But panic was beginning to settle in their chests. Even as the alien called for calm and resistance, a small crimson ball rockets towards them from the smoke. Those caught in the blast are vaporized, never knowing what happened. Others are grievously injured, forcing some to be left behind at the intruder's advance and mercy. "ARGH!! D-Damn it..!!"
The lizard man groans as it tries to stand, favoring its left side. Sliding up the wall, the being's eyes snap wide as a figure approaches. Ignoring its still bleeding wounds, the lizard man scoops up its energy rifle, and pours round after round at the intruder, but the bolts only seem to bounce off the being's skin and armor. A crimson tail shoots forward, wrapping itself around the lizard man's neck in an instant. Struggling against the suffocating strength of the ever constricting prehensile tail, the lizard man pulls at it, trying to breath the artificial air. A crimson-skinned Arcosian steps under the flickering broken light fixture, setting its devilish eyes on the being in its grasp.
"You know, not one of you pirate groups has been very accommodating." the Arcosian says in a conversational tone. "I've been quite polite to the lot of you, and yet every time I turn my eyes away, someone is trying to stab me in the back, so to speak."
Ticoga glances at a thick glass view port, and then back at the suffocating alien in his grasp. Shrugging, Ticoga's tail whips around, slinging the alien against the glass. The glass gives way under the impact, and the hallway begins to hemorrhage the artificial air and those unlucky enough to still be within the hall out into the vast darkness beyond. Ticoga only needs brace himself - he has no need to breath - and continues forward. Originally, he had come to this broken vessel looking for information. Specifically, he wanted to know what happened to those others who served the Arcosians when the Saiyans conquered his homeworld. Surely, not all had fallen in line.
Ironically, Ticoga himself held no adverse feelings towards the Saiyan Kingdom. He had been there when the World Trade Fleet attacked Vegeta, and he had been there when the Saiyans finally returned the favor in kind. Such was the way of things. But he himself found his life... without a particular purpose. He had served as more of a logistician, whilst his more violent cousin had headed an ill fated attempt to take control of the Fleet a few years ago. But now that cousin had vanished without a trace - but Ticoga knew better. He most likely fell ill of his own vile plotting. A fate that Ticoga had no desire to share.
Ticoga marches onward, coming up to a blast door that had closed in response to the sudden venting of atmosphere.
"Well, I have to give them credit. Leave it to pirates to take a dilapidated husk and make it work again." Ticoga muses, smirking to himself. He raises a palm, but hesitates. The last pirate base he raided had children and such - making his work more difficult. Unlike his cousin, Ticoga didn't consider himself a total monster - if they hadn't wronged him, they needn't die. Pondering this, Ticoga doubles back, making his way through the vessel until he finds another way into the interior.
It was a grim walk - those that hadn't been outright vaporized or been vaulted into space littered the halls and rooms. Anyone that took a shot at Ticoga were subsequently killed. Those that cowered from him were still hiding, intentionally left alone. But even as he walks, ever so casually as though on a stroll, Ticoga can't help but think about that message he'd heard a day or so ago - a static laced video of the Saiyan Queen... what was her name... Kayen? Her declaration of intent to hunt down her former servants, that wild look in her good eye... It took little imagination to understand how the Saiyans got the gall to attack Arcose.
It had only recently occurred to him that his less than subtle movements through this region may attract attention. But he would deal with that when it came, and after nearly a week of uninhibited assaults against the pirates in this sector of space, he was getting complacent. He had tried to do things nicely, but it always ended with the pirates trying to get a jump on him. They either wanted what few things he possessed, or they bore some grudge against the Arcosian people, or more likely against the now defunct World Trade Fleet.
In this case, he arrived aboard this base, interested only in asking about the message sent out by the Saiyan Queen, and if any of those she spoke of had been seen recently. But his mere appearance more often than not led to getting shot at, and he was finally fed up with the whole nonsense. He could have simply left, but he couldn't risk having it reported back to Arcose - he left his post unannounced, after all.
Eventually, Ticoga finds himself once more in a hanger - this area had been converted into a makeshift port, given its massive open space - though bodies here were, as elsewhere throughout the derelict ship, strewn about haphazardly. He could have just destroyed the energy field separating space from the port, but again, children and unaffiliated travelers were present. Cruelty was not particularly in his nature, but retribution certainly held a strong facet of his character.
The Arcosian leaps down over a railing and lands on the metal floor nearly a hundred feet below, and takes a moment to observe the damage he had caused. Many of the smaller ships were gone - likely the travelers and merchants. He had made a point not to harm those unaffiliated with the pirates, so that came as no surprise.
"Perhaps I've done enough..." Ticoga surmises out loud. He mulls this over quietly, slowly walking through the still burning wreckage of various cargo holds and freighters. There was still time to leave.

It had not taken long for the Stormbreaker to arrive on Beppa, however Kayen was more than willing to wait on confronting ‘Flip’ she actually hoped that the Stormbreaker would get spotted and make some waves on the planet once people realized who this ship belonged to and what that likely meant for Beppa. It also gave those Kayen had brought with her a bit of time to check out the planet before things got started, she had made it clear she intended to go on and offer Flip a chance to work with her first rather than the usual ‘lay claim to planet’ deal she usually did, of course if Flip DID decide to be a fool then there would be a fight, one that any of the motley crew she had assembled were welcome to join in on if it peaked their interests and would be compensated for their time and effort if a fight broke out. But that would be later, right now Kayen found herself amusingly at the mercy of her head technician. It was exceedingly rare that Barb made anything close to a demand, the last time had been when Kayen introduced her to the Stormbreaker and the woman all but demanded she get to work on it. Now her interest lay in Beppa’s rather infamous Starship Graveyard, another haven for pirates; it was home to the largest known collection of derelict starships, a veritable goldmine for a tech oriented woman like Barb. “Thank you SO much for this Kayen, I’m sure we’ll pick up plenty of useful tech, maybe some stuff I can use to make some tweaks to the Stormbreaker!” Barb said as she watched the main window as they pulled further into the graveyard “No problem Barb, you do more than enough to earn a few detours” Kayen said with a grin reaching out with her senses to make sure there were no pirates laying in wait to scrap her ship. Surprisingly things were quiet though Kayen DID sense something, a distant power signature that due to its relatively high power acted like a torch in the night “Interesting…” Kayen said and gave an order for the ship to be taken in the direction of the signature eventually finding it to be somewhere on the skeleton of a once grand ship, still though it was clear there was activity on it, a few scattered power signatures and its hangar bay seemed to be converted to an entrance of sorts. “Barb, lets meet the locals” the technician seemed more than a little concerned but with a sigh followed after her Queen and Captain making only a brief detour to grab some space gear for herself and while the Queen made it clear she did not need it, she grabbed a capsule with gear for her as well. With that the duo departed the ship with the Stormbreaker bringing itself perhaps disconcertingly close to the derelict ship only to allow Kayen to depart the ship without any space gear to protect her, quickly followed by a FAR more geared up Barb, the duo making their way through the void between the ships and down into the open hanger. “Anyone home?” Kayen called as she and Barb touched down inside, Barb remained silent instead using her scouter to send off a message to the others on the ship to inform them that Kayen had departed the Stormbreaker to as the Queen had put it herself ‘meet the locals’

Like the Pirate Queen herself, Auber had decided that he still had time before negotiations could begin, he trusted and expected Flip to make the right choice anyways, the 'right choice' in this case being accepting the offer that Kayen would make him.
Of course, if the crime lord decided that Kayen's word wasn't to be taken seriously and as a result spit on the deal they made back at Knutts, then Auber would be more than happy to give the smooth criminal some... adjustments in his attitude, he doubted others would try to take a crack at Flip as much as Auber or Kayen herself might if he makes the wrong decision.
But for now, he was simply drifting to the infamous Starship Graveyard, he's heard a lot about this place, lots of dead and abandoned ships collide and drift across this particular area in space, this graveyard has been turned into hideaways and spots for an avaricious pirate culture, though the kind he met here wasn't the one he was expecting.
The Stormbreaker instantly caught Auber's eye as he drove his Spacepod near it's presence, what was Kayen doing here? Did she decide to check this place out too? Or was there an ulterior motive? He shook his head, speculations will do him no good here.
He approached the Stormbreaker, his hands getting to work on communicating with any signals that may be in the Stormbreaker or near it, his Spacepod sending out his own signal in return to make his presence known, "Stormbreaker, this is Auber, may I inquire the reason as to what brought you here?" Auber queried with a professional tone, after all, he may be speaking to one of Kayen's technicians or operators rather than the big Boss herself, so it was best to address the ship as a whole.

There is a stir amongst the survivors aboard the ship that had transformed into a base - another large craft had entered the system, and moved dreadfully close to the gigantic base. Some seemed to recognize the ship arriving just beyond the environment shielding of the hanger, and those who did seemed to dive right back into their hiding spots. Others rush through the still burning wreckage of many freighters and other hauler ships, too afraid of what lies on the other side of the carnage to care that they run past the Saiyan Queen with reckless abandon.
The scene is a grisly one - dozens of pirates of any number of races are strewn about the floor between the burning refuse, weapons still clutched in their hands. Some bodies were incomplete, as though partially vaporized, a telltale sign of Ki having been used to dispatch them. Others appeared to be, essentially, broken and twisted. There had been not a single mote of mercy given to those who held a weapon. The only survivors of this terrible scene would be horrified aliens and their children, all of whom held no signs of weaponry, or interest in fighting back.
Ticoga turns as he hears the vibrations as a ship nears the hanger entrance. He ignores the screams and fleeing beings, as he watches a large vessel come into view. Intrigued by this, Ticoga clasps his hands behind his back and walks casually towards the approaching vessel, but stops to watch as a pair of beings wearing space survival suits exit the vessel and enter through the atmospheric shielding. He hears one of them call out, and blinks as the survivors run through the wreckage and past the outfitted arrivals.
The young Arcosian shrugs to himself and approaches the two arrivals, wiping the dust off his black and red World Trade Fleet uniform. Perhaps if the pirates were unwilling to answer his queries, these new arrivals would be more open. Without a scouter, and unable to sense the battle power of those he encountered, Ticoga has no idea who he is walking towards, and with their faces likely.... No, only one of the pair seemed to be covering their face.
Ticoga's tail tip flips with his growing curiosity, and as he approaches, another, significantly smaller ship seems to arrive. Though this one seems to stay out side the hanger - leading the Arcosian to believe that he may have attracted unwanted attention. He turns his attention back to the two arrivals, now standing about twenty odd feet away, when the one whose face remains uncovered suddenly makes the Arcosian's two hearts skip a beat.
That is the Saiyan Queen, Kayen.
It felt like a sword had just been thrust through Ticoga's stomach, and with the World Trade Fleet symbol still emblazened over his left pectoral on the uniform, this was likely a worst case scenario.
"Y-You're...!!" Ticoga stammers, his hearts thrashing about in his chest. His mind reels with things he should do - running away immediately seemed to scream loudest to him. But Kayen and her bretheren were able to kill the mightiest of the Arcosians, escape was simply impossible. When his mind couldn't decide, his body did.
Ticoga suddenly drops to one knee, places his left arm over his left knee, and grinds his right hand knuckles into the hard metal flooring. His body, shaking almost uncontrollably, seems to ignore his mental screams to run away - such was the mental conditioning of his Low Born status. Royalty was absolute - and complete compliance had been hammered into Ticoga ever since he first drew breath, often quite literally.
"F-Forgive This One's rudeness, Her Highness..." Ticoga breathes out, clearly terrified. "This One did not know Her Highness would be present in this system..!"
He had not bowed the instant he'd seen Kayen - often an offense not taken lightly by Arcosian Nobles nor the Royal Clans. Low Borns such as Ticoga often met their end in such a manner. It would not surprise Ticoga in the least if the Saiyan Queen found offense in a similar fashion. It was possible that he could turn this around, but perhaps not terribly likely.
"This One makes not an excuse, Her Highness..!" Ticoga chatters, his body still shaking. The nape of his neck shows signs of long healed scarring - but there was clear proof that the mental conditioning of the Low Borns was by no means only mental. Individuality of such Low Borns was not particularly tolerated for the great machine of the Fleet to function properly, and those who stood against the grain were duly made examples of. "This One swears to make amends for his poor quality..!"

Barb was the one that the Stormbreaker’s communications crew ultimately rerouted Auber’s message too, the Technician often functioned at the filter between the rest of the universe and the Captain so really it was just a reflect at this point, Barb meanwhile was doing her best to put Kayen between herself and the grisly scene before them, Kayen was entirely unphased by it of course but Barb was nowhere near as inured against death and violence. “Hello Auber, this is Barb. I’m with Kayen right now… I suppose the main reason is ‘curiosity’ she picked up a strong power signature.” Barb informed, maybe the other Saiyan would join them and make her feel a bit more comfortable, sure Kayen was able to handle essentially anything but there was always a slim chance of there being multiple threats and Barb suddenly becoming an ideal way to threaten the Queen. Part of Barb actually wondered what Kayen would do if she was taken captive, how far the Queen would go, if at all, to help her. Kayen chuckled as the source of the interesting power signature reacted with great surprise to her arrival, even more interesting was that it was an Arcosian, she was vaguely curious how they would react to her considering she was the current ruler of the species, was he a native of Arcose? Did he even consider her his ruler? His initial response certainly cleared that up quickly as he with only a brief stutter slipped into full formality earning a roll of the eye from the Queen “You can cut the ‘your highness’ stuff, unless you specifically piss me off I don’t really care for titles and shit. You got a name? Or were your parents really annoying to name you ‘This One’ and you happen to be very fond of talking in the third person?”

It didn't take long for Auber's communication attempt to be routed to Barb, whom Auber knew very little of, now that he thought about it, every interaction they have is either a brief greeting, or whenever Auber inquires about Kayen, he hummed in thought, he'd have to keep a mental note on this.
He kept his focus on their reasoning, curiousity, that was curious in of itself, what was it about the Graveyard that drew the attention of the Queen? Auber supposed he'd just have to find out himself, Barb didn't exactly tell him to stay back, so he supposed he was allowed to jump in if he wanted to.
Unlike the Stormbreaker, Auber's smaller Spacepod was in the advantage, for he was able to drive his pod into the hangar that Kayen, Barb and another figure that Auber couldn't see from the interior of his ship just yet, happened to be at.
Landing the Spacepod on the metallic floor, a loud hiss would emanate from the entrance as the door slowly lowered itself to make way for the Saiyan Auber, who stepped out gracefully from the ship.
First thing the Saiyan did upon stepping out was look around at the mess he found himself in, visibly frowning in distate, especially because he decided to wear his fine suit, and he didn't exactly want to stain it before the party at Beppa.
Of course, 'Party' could mean two different things.
It all depends on a criminal's answer.
But none of that just yet, Auber made an effort to avoid the bodies, although he was disgusted, it wasn't the same as Barb's, rather it was just like someone who came across a simple mess, and didn't want his own being to be stained by the filth.
Reaching Kayen, he would finally turn to look at the figure whom he didn't get a chance to describe earlier, it was an Arcosian, prostrating himself before the Queen, the young Saiyan hummed in interest as he looked at the sight, he had rarely seen Arcosians show such humility and submissiveness before.
He turned back towards the Queen, "Kayen." He greeted with a nod, a far cry from the Arcosian's dramatic gesture, and one he knew the Queen preferred, Kayen never seemed one for royalty the moment he met her, quite a long time ago, that was, simpler times, even.

Ticoga manages to resist flinching when Kayen commands him to cut out his formalities - but the Saiyan simply didn't understand the culture she now ruled over. Perhaps he could inform her, and not come across as condescending. Hopefully.
"U...Understood." Ticoga replies passively. He pushes himself off the floor, and straightens his posture, looking up only to glance at the oddly dressed newcomer. He is now outnumbered three to one by Saiyans. If there had been any hope for escape before, that was now gone. He throws his gaze back to the floor, still working through his conditioning. "This One is a Low Born, named Ticoga..."
He resists the urge to say, Your Highness, but Kayen had made it clear that she did not want him to do so. So strange, this Saiyan.
"In This One's culture, Low Borns are clanless - Clanless Low Borns are equivalent to property for the nobility and Royal Clans." Ticoga explains carefully, hoping not to insult the Saiyans. "Only those above Low Borns may speak of themselves pridefully - If a Low Born uses self identifying language, they are challenging their servitude against the Clans. This is an executable offense."
Ticoga clasps his hands behind his back once more, still looking down.
"Low Borns are not to look upon Royalty except when commanded, or in the event a Low Born is adopted into a named Clan." he continues. "This One, speaks with humility, and intends to show understanding of its place. As such, if This One were to speak to you using such lack of humility, it would suggest disrespect of the highest degree."
Ticoga narrows his eyes.
"This one has not proven himself worthy of adoption into a named Clan, and so Property does not speak to their owners as if they were equals." Ticoga finishes. It was unlikely that Kayen would understand the culture, but an explanation may help in some way.

Current PL: 101,000 There weren’t many things in the world of mortals that Zriracha held a great attachment to; Life, the pursuit of liberation and loyalty were the of the view. More corporeal things such as particular people and objects were very much second to these things. However, above all else – an contrary aspect of her home and upbringing (as well as instinctual compulsion) that she held with fierce pride over many others was Honor. Such was the reasoning for Zriracha following shortly after Kayen and her technician through the brief cold of space to land noisily along the metal of the vast station that had appeared to have been plundered anew. Already, a welcoming party of sorts had been gathered of a colorful degree, the Satyr walking casually to join beside the Queen with a simple nod to her before she appraised the situation with a curious tilt of her head. Auber, an acquaintance she’d met back on Earth, was present – a Saiyan that Zriracha offered a short grunt and tilt upward of her head as her way of giving an informal greeting. However, the one whom had quickly grasped her attention… was a familiar species, indeed. She’d only met an Arcosian once – her betrothed to be, Polarus and looked on with concern as she took in the odd attire. She’d approached just as spoke his name, his gaze to the floor as she listened to his explanation of ‘Low-borns’ and not belonging to a clan. Zriracha felt an intense wave of fear from him, the negativity like a sip of the sweetest wine, before Zriracha introduced herself with an accented but smooth, aristocratic voice, “Pardon me if it is not my place to say, Ticoga, but if it is a clan you seek…” She began, likely grabbing his attention. “-if offered, would that not solve the issue of unnecessary humility?” She meant no disrespect to his culture, but at the thought of a being with a heart and soul belonging to another… She felt compelled to be infuriatingly bold. “Zriracha of Chakapakk,” She would follow, stomping once along the floor before giving a wince as the sound reverberated painfully louder than she intended. She glanced to Kayen sheepishly, “Pardon me…” Queen Kayen

Kayen turned her head slightly from the Arcosian as she felt a strong signature incoming, familiar, Auber. Kayen shrugged it off as she returned her attention to the Arcosian, she was not entirely sure how well Auber would respond to the presence of an Arcosian but if he started acting like a fool she was fairly certain a strong glare from her would get him to ‘act right’ Auber was discernibly smarter than the average Saiyan and knew her well enough to not GENUINELY test her patience. “Welcome to the party Auber, ‘this one’ was just introducing himself” Kayen said offering a smirk in the Arcosians direction at her reference to his own manner of referring to himself, with that he gave a proper introduction giving the name Ticoga and trying his best to explain WHY he was acting the way he was. Kayen had been vaguely familiar with how Arcosians operated though it was more on a ‘they have noble clans and a caste system vaguely similar to Vegeta’ sort of way. Though from Ticoga’s telling it seemed even MORE nonsensically rigid than Vegeta’s system “I forgot you guys have a shitty system like Vegeta’s ‘class’ shit, I dont put much stock into that and frankly I dont see why you would lower yourself to accepting it either. If you were some weakling I could sort of get it, not wanting to rock the boat and get yourself killed, self preservation” Kayen said with a shrug “You’re not weak though, far from it. Sure compared to me or Auber or Zri” Kayen said nodding in Zriracha’s direction as the Demon also joined in on the growing party “you might be, but compared to any of the average Arcosians trying to call you ‘property’ you’re basically unbeatable. You’re not even in your final form and I bet you decimate the bulk of Arcose’s population if you REALLY wanted” Kayen said with a smirk. “If you WANT to be like this, go for it, but you SHOULD consider the option of being more than just what your culture tells you you can be. If you want to get technical my family is in an only marginally better boat than yours, the only difference is my ancestor Habana decided she didn’t give a damn about other Saiyans thinking less of her for being ‘mid class’ OR only Half Saiyan”

Auber remained quiet throught the Arcosian's explanation, listening with a neutral expression. It seemed as if the Arcosian caste system was unnecessarily inflexible. He pondered for a minute on if it had been abandoned to this date, Nashua wouldn't have allowed such a system to remain before she met her end.
He turned his attention back to the Arcosian, who now identified himself as Ticoga. His sensory abilities picked up a vast signature heading their way, glancing at the person in question, Auber's eyes would dance with amusement at Zriracha's informal greeting, a lesser saiyan wouldn't have understood the gesture.
Auber was not a lesser saiyan.
He mimicked her gesture, courtesy of spending time on Earth, it truly did help to pick up social cues from individuals who may have spent most of their lives there. His eyes glazed over to Ticoga once more, and after the Demon finished her offer, Auber would finally speak his mind.
"I'd like for you to answer two of my questions, Ticoga." His tone emphasized the Arcosian's name, a subtle message to indicate his displeasure with the third-person reference. Nevertheless, he proceeded with his questions, "Firstly, I'd like for you to tell me if it was you who caused this mess." Auber's expression held neither venom nor warmth, a perfect neutral stance.
"Secondly, I'd like to query to you as to what your objective here was." He inquired his final piece, before deciding a small nitpick must be added, "And please, do look at me when you speak to me. I personally find it disrespectful when someone finds the floor much more interesting to look at." His tone once more held not an imperious edge, one could say it sounded like a simple request.

When a fourth being arrived, Ticoga understood that his situation was becoming ever bleaker. Had he known the Saiyan Kingdom's top elite would be coming into the system, he'd have taken more care in how he handled things. As the last individual approaches, Ticoga raises his eyes only high enough to take in their profile. The being introduces herself, and aims an understandable question at Ticoga.
"Adoption into a Clan is slightly more complicated." Ticoga informs Zriracha. "Only a Clan leader has the right to deem who is and is not worthy of invitation. And Low Borns are very often not considered worth the invitation. Not unless they are able to greatly impress the Clan leader, but more often than not, a Low Born trying to impress a Clan leader can be construed as them trying to defy the Nobility, and leads to executions rather than consideration for adoption."
It was then that Kayen speaks again, garnering Ticoga's full attention. To his surprise, the words were familiar - his cousin Tundra shared a similar mind set. But Kayen was suggesting he eschew the rigid culture of Arcose, and aim to better himself. But when she surmises that he was not only strong, but in her opinion powerful enough to put down those who suppressed him, it comes as some surprise. Without a scouter, Ticoga had no way to understand his opponent's battle power. He simply could not sense Ki, despite being able to wield it.
She was wrong about one thing though, and that was her confidence in his True Form - Ticoga had never once pushed himself to that power, and doubts his ability to properly control it. But the Saiyans need not know that for now.
"I understand, Your Hi-... Uh... Kayen." Ticoga manages, seeing that the other two had been far less formal. "If it is your command, then This... I will endeavor to speak in a more comfortable manner. I apologize if my manners came across as impudent."
It was something of a revelation to Ticoga that her ancestor had gone against the reigns of her society - a trait shared by his own ancestor who also marshaled against the norm. And finally, Ticoga is addressed by the oddly dress Saiyan. Ticoga takes a glance around at the destruction he'd wrought as the Saiyan gestures, and nods to confirm. To not insult the Saiyan, Ticoga locks his crimson eyes on the Saiyan's own eyes.
"I am in fact responsible." Ticoga confirms in a matter of fact tone, as if answering a simple question about any subject. "My purpose here is fairly simple. A few days ago, Her Hi... Kayen's message reached the outer rings of the galaxy. I took it upon myself to begin gathering information - I surmised that, should the ones designated be in hiding, their first clear option would be to hide among the less reputable aspects of galactic civilizations."
Ticoga straightens his posture, hands still clasped behind his back. His tone was conversational, and he had dropped some of the formality that seemed to be irritating Kayen.
"My intention was to zero in on possible locations. I offered to purchase information from the pirates that controlled this base," Ticoga explains. "Unfortunately, they decided it would be more fortuitous to simply try to kill me and take all of my money, rather than just be paid a portion of it for heresay."
Ticoga gestures broadly.
"I took exception to their hostility, and reacted to defend myself. I began slaying any and all who raised their weapons to harm me." he continues, indifferent to the slaughter he'd caused. "I spared only those who chose pacifism - children and their parents who took no part in my attempted murder were left alone; as I do not kill without purpose. I hunted the pirates throughout the station, hoping to encounter more cooperative informants, but they all insisted on their violence."
Ticoga turns back to Kayen. There was an odd glint about his eyes; that of recognition beyond knowing her as the Saiyan Queen.

A clan leader… Hm, interesting… Zriracha noted with an accepting nod of understanding. While she didn’t like that he was still conditioned to such a cultural deference, the Demon was well-equipped to think of ways to overcome such obstacles. As she listened to what most had to say about situation, the questions as to why they had come and what had happened previously, Zriracha took the moment to look around. Her stomach recoiled at the amount of devastation and death, giving a disgusted snort as the scent of the blood and fear nearly overwhelmed her senses – enough that she gave a low growl of aggression. As Ticoga finished his explanation and Zriracha returned her attention back to him, the Satyr narrowed her eyes on him with a sense of understanding. However, in spite of how much she knew that such cultures and methodologies were justified… she made her qualms clear. “Did the thought of taking anyone prisoner or, as opposed to killing them, rendering them unconscious not a common practice among your people?” She asked, her tone not biting or offended but carrying a genuine undertone of confusion. Polarus made it clear that he did not kill for sport… How much, if at all, rang with truth if Ticoga came from a lower-class family? Future words she would share with him. She looked away, snorting the smell from her nostrils once more before attempting some reparation, nearly snarling, “Pardon my ignorance,” Though, this time, there was a hint of derisive distaste in her tone. Auber ended up having some good questions for Ticoga, saving Kayen the time of eventually asking something along similar lines while Zriracha inquired further about the nature of the Arocsian clans, to which Ticoga explained that it was difficult for someone of his position, at least in terms of his ‘class’ to make it into a proper clan. Though Kayen had a feeling that if Ticoga properly understood his power and made those clans aware he might see far more interest in him than before. Though as far as Kayen was concerned that made those very clans less interesting, most likely they would just want someone for what they could offer. Kayen grinned as Ticoga shifted his way of speaking as he explained things, apparently his attack here was apart of an effort to help with the hunt for the now exiled members of the Kingdom. Kayen was unsure if that was strictly accurate but if true it meant Ticoga was apparently already quite willing to follow her orders. “Can’t blame you for meeting force with force” Kayen said with a shrug “You’re probably lucky though that if you were looking for those in my announcement that you didn’t find any of them. You’re strong but not quite ready to fight any of them, they’ve all reached Super Saiyan and you’re still a bit away from that level as far as I can tell” Kayen said with a shrug.

Ticoga confirmed at least one of his questions, the other still wasn't something that he had answered completely. Why was he looking for the exiled Saiyans? Why bother? Humming in thought, Auber simply let an amused smirk come to his lips, "Is that right?" He rhetorically asked, but ended the conversation there.
Auber finally took note of the other query he had answered that didn't originate from Auber, the one Zriracha seemed to have inquired about. Once more, Auber had to describe the Arcosian system as redundant and needless, it was a system that brought those of money and elitist clout to power, and denying much potential from the lower-classes.
He turned to Kayen, "So, what do you want to do with him?" He inquired, not really caring about Ticoga's opinion of being talked about while he was present within the space. If it was up to Auber, he'd let Ticoga go or come along on their little diplomatic meeting even, his presence would assure that the Kingdom took in all races despite being run by Saiyans, and he might be a useful resource.
But it wasn't up to him, if Kayen said otherwise, then that's that, and Auber wouldn't feel the slighest pity if it came to a much darker option.

At Zriracha's reply, Ticoga meets her words with a tilt of his head.
"I was quite careful to not kill non-combatants." the Arcosian explains calmly. "Within the World Trade Fleet, combat protocol calls for the complete and absolute culling of enemy combatants. Information can be acquired from either personal affects, available computer databases, and collected from non-combatants that were permitted to live."
Ticoga straightens his posture, looking at Zriracha with a mildly quizzical expression.
"Your enemies will always intend to kill you - the only purposeful action is to destroy the threats." he continues. "The Fleet does not waste resources on taking prisoners. That is a pointless use of space and resources to keep them alive during custody. My primary purpose, before the Fleet's fall, was in logistics - I can assure you that it is far more prudent to not take prisoners when avoidable. Additionally, rendering your enemies unconscious also means turning your back to a still credible threat. Should they awaken, and you are caught unaware, they could strike from behind undetected. It is a potentially deadly gamble to leave them simply unconscious."
Ticoga takes a moment before adding to Zriracha.
"...It is possible that Arcose itself took such pacifist measures. But Arcose and the Fleet were not intertwined identities. For two centuries, they were very much separate ideologies." Ticoga concludes.
His attention then again turns to Kayen, to which Ticoga smiles.
"I am glad to know my actions are met with your approval." Ticoga replies, still smiling. "But my intentions did not include confronting them - nor to interact with them at all. But finding out where they are is valuable information, and, of course, necessarily my duty to provide to the Kingdom to bring your traitors to their fate."
Ticoga shows appreciation for Kayen's words with an even more rigid posture.
"I am humbled by such an opinion of my future potential." Ticoga says to Kayen, beaming. "If my power could one day rival that of the Kingdom's great Super Saiyans, I would be blessed indeed."
When Auber replies, Ticoga hears a hint of distrust in his tone. Understandable, given the circumstances. Had something he said stuck out, however? It was possible, but time would tell if the Saiyan's thoughts lined up with the truth. Before letting the Queen consider whether or not to be rid of Ticoga, he speaks up after Auber asks Kayen of whether or not they had use for him.
"If possible, my Queen, a humble request." Ticoga inquires, letting his posture loosen. His smile widens, but his eyes narrow ever so slightly. "I would be honored if you considered showing me the legendary Super Saiyan form. My ancestor, Taiga, fought Super Saiyans when the Saiyan Solar Empire existed. I wish to see what that power my grandfather faced looks like. If, of course, my request is not out of line."
