In the moments leading up to Amara's explosive embrace, he'd been so sure that death was what he wanted. Scallio's battle for Gemini A was to be his swan song - his last hooray in the land of the living. Dying there was meant to take away all of the pain and yet - "It all feels worse somehow." he whispered. Was this regret that he was feeling? Surely it couldn't be, he'd made peace with death even before stepping foot on Gemini. And yet here he was, standing in line at the Check-in Station with a familiar heaviness in his chest.
Scallio's lips curled into a frown, there would be time to process his thoughts later - or so he assumed at least. He was going to hell after all, of that he had no doubts. With all the blood he'd spilled and the destruction he'd caused throughout his life. If he didn't go to hell, he'd be more than a little surprised. When Scallio had last checked, the line to see King Yemma had been quite long. Glancing at it now, however, it was a lot shorter than it had been before. In fact - Scallio was next in line to talk with the Ogre King.
He stepped into the Check-in Station and glanced upward. Yemma and his massive desk towered above him like the giants that they were. Scallio wondered - if he turned into an Oozaru would he match the Ogre's size or would he still be too small? "Yemma." said Scallio dryly, "I'm supposed to tell you my most vile and pure-hearted deeds right?" the mercenary didn't have to think on the matter for very long. "My most heroic act was rescuing a woman named Narissa from warlords after her father sold her." so much had happened and changed since then.
"As for my most vile - the list is long but the first thing that comes to mind is what I did on Knutts. I murdered a sizeable chunk of its population just to get a Shinjin to fight me. There's also the planet that I tried and failed to blow up." Scallio finished with a frown. His body felt oddly tense as he waited for King Yemma's reply, as he waited for his judgement.
