This morning's training had been the first one in months, the tall Kabo taking it easy as her head pounded painfully form the night before. However with the suits gravity turned on she had little choice but to work hard despite the pounding headache. Wincing as she leaped form pillar to pillar in a effort to work on her speed, the rushing ground only making her queasy as the rocks speed by. So perhaps training hard the day after a heavy night of drinking was not a good idea but Konkom just could not longer bring herself to sit around all day, the tall alien unable to deny that it was time to move on any longer. She needed to get back into fighting shape and she had more then enough to rest. Thinking about what she had been up to till now only made her sigh, a deep release of air that showed her disappointment in herself.
For weeks the Kabo had been drinking her money away after the events on Gemini, her money slowly dwindling as she drunk herself into a stupor. She had tried to work as a bouncer at a bar but it had hardly lasted longer then a week before she showed up to work drunk. It was not like she was entirely miffed about what had occurred on Gemini but rather she was without a purpose again, another time when she was not fighting and earning her keep as a solider for someone else. Unlike most she did not have dreams of grandeur or moving up in rank till everyone knew who she was, her plans about the future were never longer then a few days or the imminent future. It's what made her a less then a ideal leader and combined with her blood lust lead her to be quite the hot head. No she missed the front lines and constant battles, the lulls filled with gatherings of her friends form the battle field. It was simple and that suited her just fine.
It was not till another throb of pain nearly sent her of course Konkom finally stopped long enough to take a few breaths, her mind wondering just what else she could to make herself more limber. Her slow speed was a problem and she refused to let it be a weakness for much longer, the fact the same one only a quarter of her strength could run circles around her was just to much. Turning the dial to 80 times gravity she winced at the increase, the pulsing in her veins only getting stronger with each increment of gravity she raised. With a sigh she started again, her foot work still clumsy as she nearly stumbled before leaping to another rock. Each leap proving more difficult to catch her self in time to leap again and before long she finally slipped. Hitting the hard rock that filled Gemni's desert head first quickly made her head scream, the pain making the Alien prone on the ground. " Perhaps...a nap would be good" she muttered to herself as she let herself sleep off the hangerover, the suit's gravity still working as she feel into the first deep sleep she had in months.
