BACKGROUND: Scarf grew up with just his farther in a small house. Scarf's mother had died from childbirth. As she was passing, she wrapped her in a bright red scarf which his father would later name him after. Because the Scarf is the first and last memory that Scarf has of his mother, he is always wearing the scarf. Scarf's father had a decent job working for Capsule Corp which left Scarf on his own quite a bit even from a young age. While Scarf's father was at work, Scarf would leave his house out into the wilds where he would run into all different kinds of adventure. Because Scarf was alone most of the day, he learned to make friends with a lot of the wild life that live around them.
When his father was home, he would spend all his time with Scarf. The two of them bonded really closely due to them only having each other. The pair of them would tinker on things around the house or his father would explain what he had been working on at Capsule Corp. Despite being busy trying to provide for Scarf, Scarf's father managed to find ways to home school Scarf so that he would have a decent education. While this helped Scarf exceed in his education, he never had a lot of human interactions outside of his father.
At the age of 23, Scarf's father became very ill. Due to this, Scarf had to reverse roles with his father. Scarf got a job working as a mechanic, repairing people's old Capsule Corp equipment that they couldn't afford to replace. Scarf had a knack for this type of labor, although his mannerism at first were outputting to the customers. A few days after Scarf had turned 24, his father passed away from his illness. Not knowing what else to do, Scarf continued his work as a mechanic.
