So Yanwang maybe had disspeared for a while...again. It was not his fault this time. His ogre family had told him to meet them as they took a vacation on Earth. It was a lot of fun but they also got in hair a lot. His Mother really being lovely dovley and his Uncle Shen telling him to always stay on the right side of things. Well now he was back and it had been a while since he had meet any of the people he actually knew pretty well. He also had to prove he was the strongest in the universe still. He needed to prove that again. So no way better to find someone he actually knew and tell them to tell him what had been going on since he vanished. To figure out who was the person causing the most trouble then giving them the old one two. He'd show everyone that Yanwang may of been out of the spotlight for a while but he was still on top. Yanwang was around South City looking for anyone he knew but so far he had no luck. Guess no one was around. Where had all the cool strong people go. Yanwang hopped off a building landing in a trash can. "Eww...this is nasty." Yanwang said as he dug himself out of the trash saying a few curse words under his breath.

Thread's PL: 128,000 / Anti-Sense: Active
Words were that South City was the metropolis for crime and vice; the capital of the Southern Tropic was supposed to be this nest of villainy... and yet... in his visit of the city, Vangreth had little to no bad experience so far in this part of the world! Aside from the strange street vendor who sold unknown stuff at insane prices, and the fact that people in the street seemed a little less organized in general... very few people in tux with briefcases...
But there were food stands! Vangreth knew of those overpriced delicious food, and grabbed himself a chocolate and ice-cream pancake in portable size, the perfect little snack for an alien looking for something to do and eventually perhaps somewhere to settle his capsule house for the day. This was the way of the 'cheat' day where Vangreth did not usually train; he uses these to try and join with Earth's community and become an ever better part of its eco-system!
Well, that would work if only trouble did not find him wherever he went! He did not walk a few meters away from the food stand that he heard a loud crashing noises in an alley near him.
Curiosity got the better of him and he quickly went to have a peak at the alley, taking a bite out of his pancake while looking at the mess caused by the crashing Ogre... followed by curse words which would trigger something in the Alien's mind... he knew that voice!
'' Hey! If it isn't Earth's greatest hero! Yanwang!'' He would shout at him as he hesitated to get into that alley... after all, he was holding his precious food, and he could not afford to have it tainted by the smell of garbage down this dirty wannabe street.
A quick analyze at his power level told Vangreth two things; one, the Ogre had gotten even stronger than before! But, second, he had narrowed the gap between them by a massive margin! Vangreth wasn't all that far from being able to compate his power to Yanwang's own, while last time, there was a whole universe between them!
'' Remember me? Probably less reactive and expressive back then, but I feel like my appearance is an original one. '' He would simply say, hoping the hero did not have too much on his mind and forgot about him, after all, he was Earth's stronger hero!

Yanwang looked up as he saw someone call out his name. They even knew he was Earth's Greatest Hero. Yanwang pulled himself out of the trash can and quickly got rid of all the trash stuck to his clothes. He needed to look like a real in front of a fan. At least he assumed it was a fan. It was in fact someone he had met in the past. "Hey I've seen you before." He remembers he had helped him deal with some really bad dude. At least that how he remembered it. He knew he used his true power so Vangreth was one of the few people who had actually seen him fight at full force. He wondered how much stronger Vangreath had gotten since they last met. Must have been eye-opening for him to see the power Yanwang had. It must stun anyone to meet the universe's strongest. "Yeah, I remember you. We meet and faced a some bad dudes. I can't remember who and what they were doing exactly. It has been a while." Yanwang rubbed his hair. "Its Vangreth right?" Yanwang was hoping he was not mixing him up with someone else. That would be really rude and awkward.

Pleased to see that Yanwang remembered him, Vangreth's smile cheered with his usual (but newfound considering Yanwang's knowledge of him) innocence, he even got his name right, which was not a given case for everyone! Seeing someone he knew, or at least believed, to be the strongest on Earth just casually removing trash from him after falling from the sky was weird enough that even he could laugh from just how unlikely this all was.
'' Exactly! I do remember us destroying something, though I do not remember its specific nature... uh...''
Vangreth quickly abandonned thinking about what it really was before taking another bite of his delicious treat he had in his hands.
'' I can sense that you've gotten stronger too! Although, I also feel that I've covered much more ground than you have! Guess that means soon enough, I will be Earth's greatest hero!''
He said, looking up in a joking tone; while he was saying this as a joke, deeply, he hoped it would be truth one day! After all, it was this very Ogre that gave Vangreth his inspiration to become a hero, so to become even greater than him would be the greatest honor Vangreth go to do him!
The alien shook his head rapidly to get off his day-dreaming and then looked further down the road he was in for a moment, then back at Yanwang.
'' You want to hang out? Surely we can find something to do in this strange city.... aside from eat food that is, I've already...''
He licked a bit of ice-cream on his own cheek.
'' ... covered this ground already...''

"Yeah, hopefully, whatever it was stay deep underground and never bothers anyone again." Yanwang flashed a thumbs up. Though he should try to remember what it was. It must have been pretty serious if he remembered transforming into his peak form. He doubted most things would get him to even consider going all out. Vangreth then noted he sensed not only had Yanwang gotten stronger but he had also gotten a good deal stronger. "Really that is awesome for you." He flashed a thumbs up. He was not worried about Vangreth to become "Earth's greatest hero." He was just trying to be the strongest. To be the greatest he was not ready for that. He had a long way to go before he could be a hero that could even be called anything like that. Vangreath then asked if he wanted to hang out. "Of course I would love to hang out. I've not really talked to anyone in a while. It sounds like a lot of fun to hang out with you Vangreath. There is so much we can do like to eat some food..." Then he realized Vangreth had already A. Said he had gotten food and B. Was eating it. "Oh well, there a lot of other fun things we can do." He yanked out a bag of potato chips from the Fujin Bag and took a bite out of a chip. "So what first?" He asked as he chewed on the chip.

Oh, it seems like Yanwang was unsure of Vangreth's name after all! Not that the alien would mind that much, but it was still a little annoying since he got it right the first time. Vangreth still got a chuckle when it seemed like the Ogre realized he already had food on him. At that very moment, the Muko-Jin would comp down on his pancake with a satisfied smile on his face.
'' Yeah, the pancake stand is right there if you want to grab one...''
Vangreth said before seeing that Yangwang got a bag of potato chips from... well... he had no idea, especially one that would have survived the fall he just got into a few minutes ago.
The real question came after, what there was to do now that they had food to keep their hunger at bay.
'' Uh... sooo..'' He wondered for a moment, looking around before a loud explosion blew up the side walls of a nearby bank.
'' What about stopping whatever the heck happened here? Sounds like people might get hurt if this keeps going on...'' He said before quickly moving to see what was going on; it being that close made it fairly easy to interfere.
The scene was quite confusing, there was a building on fire, bunch of flying and flaming paper raining down on the street. In the alleyway on the side, a group of humanoids flying away in a sport car while people are rushing away from the building.
'' Sooo... who chases the car and who gets the people out of the flaming building? I feel like we should split that job.'' Vangreth would ask in a hurry, expecting the Ogre to have followed him to the scene.

"I am good I don't have a lot of money. Plus I can just make food with my Fujin Bag." Though usually, food from the actually real world instead of what he conjured from the Fujin Bag was a lot taster. The food was not important now it was time to find something fun to do. "Uh..." The explosion nearby cut him off as he glanced. "Woah that is a pretty big explosion," Yanwang said. Vangreth seemed to have noticed it too and it seemed that was what they were going to do now. Yanwang followed Vangreth to the scene. There was a building that was set ablaze and then there was a group of people driving off. Guess they had something to do with it since Vangreth asked who was going to chase the car and could be going to help the people. "I got people." Yanwang flashed a thumbs up. "You go chase the car."
Yanwang took a deep breath as he looked towards the fire. It had been a while since he used his powers. While he could save the people he could also stop the fire. Both his arms turned black as he leaped into action grabbing the people he could see and bringing them out. He brought most of the people out pretty easily but then someone yelled. "My daughter still in there." She shouted as Yanwang grumbled. He had to go find the kid then. But how was he going to find them? "Got it i'll find your daughter." Yanwang ran in and began to bounce from room to room looking for her but didn't see her. This was not good. This fire was getting worse too. Hopefully, he could find them in time. He was pretty sure a normal human could die from something like this.

Vangreth did not wase a single second, right when he heard Yanwang give him to command to chase the char, he went for it full speed; the car itself was moving fast, and he could not just go in a straight line because of the buildings. This decision from Yanwang made sense to Vangreth, he was Earth's greatest hero after all, so people would trust him much easier to help then, while Vangreth looked like an alien overload from the movies, who would sacrifice their soul to an old god or some weird stuff like that, he had heard some wild people assuming details on him.
Vangreth was easily fast enough to catch back to the car, even if the terrain was at his disadvantage and the car was especially fast, more so than anything he had witnessed usual Earthlings driving. In a flash of lucidity, Vangreth grabbed the car by the roof, against the complaints of the passengers and driver who got into a panic when they realized the car was flying, and deposed it upside-down on a roof.
'' Now get out of that stupid thing, and you better explain all this chaos going on or I am going to...''
Vangreth was then interupted by the firing of a pistol, landing a bullet right between his eyes, the metal shell crushing on his skin, leaving a red mark.
'' ... ouch... that was rude. '' He simply said in a dry voice before going to confront them physically.
One amongst them, humanoid, but with distinct signs of demonic heritage, started getting yelled at by the others.
'' Liar! You told us this one was weak! I knew your 'sensing' stuff was all made up! '' The first one yelled.
'' Yeah! I bet I could pull these tiny horns right out of your head, they look fake anyway!'' A second one added.
The Muko-Jin watched the scene in total confusion, and after that weird exchange, decided to knock the two Earthlings out and have a little talk with the assumed half-demon...
A few minute after the incident, Vangreth was back at the scene of the fire; he flew down in the middle of the police cars with two bags loaded with bills and looked around for for Yanwang, not really sure what he was suposed to do there.
A policeman approached him, visibly angry.
'' God damn you weirdos... where are the culprits?! You did not kill them, did you?'' He angrily spewed at the alien.
'' N-no... actually, both of them are tied up on a local diner... I can point you to it if you wa...''
Again, Vangreth was interupted.
'' Two? There were three on the cameras! Don't tell me you let one escape! That's it! I'm taking you in!''
While the rude man was trying to hand-cuff Vangreth, the alien just moved his hands away from the Earthling and got back, not really sure why he was regarded as the bad guy here. Would he have to explain everything, would they not just accept the help he gave them?

Yanwang grunted trying to think what he was going to do. How was he going to find the kid? Yanwang really needed to learn how to sense Ki. Yanwang decided to close his eyes and just listen. In the smoldering flames, he heard a cry out. Yanwang knew where she was now. Guess he just needed to slow down. Yanwang leaped spinning to grab the kid and pulling them out. But the fire was getting worse. "I better hurry and stop this fire so no one gets hurt." He grabbed the kid and kicked off landing outside and carrying the girl bridal style to the bottom. He put her down as he ran back inside. Yanwang smashed his arms together "ALRIGHT!" He reached into the Fujin Bag pulling out a comically over sized hose. "It's go time." He sprayed the water blasting away the flames with ease. Since he could enchant the hose with his magic it was easy enough to hit the flames and take them out. 2-0 for Yanwang against the Giant fire. Now to see if Vangreath had got the crooks.
Yanwang leaped down as he saw Vangreth talking with two of the cops. Seems he was having a bit of trouble with the cops. Yanwang shook his head. He walked over as he put the hose back into the Fujin Bag. "I assume there is a problem here but I can assure you, my friend, here is not the problem. He and I were the ones who stopped these guys." He pointed to the building that was no longer on fire. "I dealt with the fire. And he just brought back your money. So I don't get why you think he is the crook. If he was the bad guy why would he bring back the money." Yanwang said with a shrug glancing at Vangreth. Hopefully this be enough for the cops. He didn't wanna hurt these guys.

The situation was becoming more and more heated by the seconds, the policeman visibly getting angrier and Vangreth confused, but also slightly irritated... what would his voice mean really? He could tell the cops that an half-demon was with the gang, way too young and inexperienced, and that with a quick talk he managed to convince him to at least be a little more subtle with his tricks and not hurt that many people... but would the police even listen to him? Would they care that this could be solved by itself? They did not listen at him at first anyway, so he doubted it.
The tension escalated to its maximum right before Yanwang arrived, as Vangreth was hand-cuffed, but he quickly broke the cuffs and was about to lose his temper. But with timing worthy of his heroic title, Yanwang appeared, and him outright saying Vangreth was his friend, combined with the brought back money and the fire extinguished, did seem to convince the policeman that arresting Vangreth on the spot might be a bad idea... especially since, to even hope to hold him in a cell, they would have to give a call to Crop Co. and see if they have something against aliens this strong.
The despicablee Earthling looked at them both and sighed, throwing some half-assed apologizes and a quick word about them doing their civic duties before turning back to his car and mumbling some other inaudible words, probably directed at them as well.
The Muko-Jin released a deep sigh of relief as the mess was cleared, and he gave a thumbs up to Yanwang.
'' Nice timing there... honestly, I don't get why they would act like this... Then again, I think I had heard some stories about South City's law enforcement being... well... I don't remember what they were supposed to be because I don't know the word used, but they were something, and I bet that was it.''
Vangreth was still slightly irritated, and it showed, but he kept a calm facade through it, showing much less of his temper than what was actually going on in his mind. He looked at Yanwang for a moment and shrugged.

The man left seemed to understand that Vangreth was not a crook. So that was good he didn't need to use a bit more force to show him what an actually crook looked like. Plus it seemed like Vangreath was not going to get arrested by these guys. These cops didn't seem that strong they thought normal cuffs could hold Vangreth. He doubted that would work on almost anyone in his friend circles. As Vangreath explained he was unsure why they acted like that. Yanwang shrugged. "Probably cause they saw more crooks and assumed you were one based on your looks. Which is wrong but if they are more criminals we need to find them. We can't let people get away with setting a building on fire, stealing then running off. If there are only 2 guys and he just wanted to arrest you well...." Yanwang cracked his knuckles. "We can pay him a visit after this." Yanwang rolled his shoulders. "But anyway we should try to solve this little chaos of arson and robbery," Yanwang said. "So if we needed to find evidence of that we need to find a camera right? From the building, you think any of them still work after the fire?" He was hoping that was a good lead.

Vangreth shrugged at Yanwang's words at first; it had been a while since he had been the target of judgement based on his appearance... in fact, it almost went away after a while. Seeing it in action once more pinched the alien's heart a little... he had done his best to integrate this world's population, but it seemed as if some earthlings would never accept that. A saddened smile drew itself on his pale face as he nodded to Yanwang.
'' Oh... yeah... I almost forgot that I look like a monster to some of these people. '' He answered before his brain processed that Yanwang was already ahead of himself in this discussion.
For a moment, the Muko-Jin seemed uncomfortable before he decided that telling the truth to Yanwang was the only way to do this right.
'' Alright listen I... I did found 3 people in the car... the missing one was some sort of half-demon Earthlings. He told me about how he ended up here, he was expected to do crimes because he was a demon and such... and instead of capturing him with the rest, I have him directions to a place that could help him. This is why one of them is missing.'' He whispered to his Ogre friend, hoping that he would understand the choice he made.
Giving a second look at the building, which in the end, had not been affected by the fire all that much; banks are not exactly known for having that much flammable inside of it aside from the money itself.
'' Sure, some cameras might have been destroy in the explosion, but those on the opposite side should work fine... at least I think so.''
Admitedly, Vangreth barely knew what a camera was; but surely something made to gain evidence after this kind of events would be made to sustain the damage of said event... right?

Yanwang nodded as Vangreath seemed to think that people would assume he was a monster cause of his look. "Yeah of course but that is just people assuming things. You look different sure but your a good person." He flashed a thumbs up. "You just gotta show, everyone, that, and they won't be afraid of you or make assumptions about you." At least that would be the hope. Then VAngreath whispered to him explaining what actually had happened. He found one of them and because he was a demon he was expected to do crimes and instead of arresting him Vangreath sent him somewhere to get help. Yanwang nodded. "I get that. But at the same time, he did almost hurt a lot of people. There has to be some sort of justice." Yanwanng rubbed his chin as he thought. There had to be some sort of compromise but he was unsure what would be for the best. But for now, they cover that up to go look for the Camera. "Alright let's go check in the back," Yanwang said as he ran over to grab check the cameras. "Ok so how do we check them to see who did the crimes?" Yanwang turned to ask Vangreth.
