Ticoga groans inwardly at the revelation that he still didn't understand what Anny had been trying to say. He itches the end of his nose at the awkward silence as the hovercraft finally arrives. Several aliens, two of them Beppan, and one elderly-looking reptile step off the craft. The Beppans retrieve a stretcher, and the reptilian alien gives an initial visual appraisal of Ticoga and Anny.
"...Hm... Gone and gotten yourself knocked around again, have you?" the alien asks Ticoga, who shrugs. "Well, come along you two. The ship has a better medbay than the wastelands, I assure you."
Silently, Ticoga walks to the craft and settles into a seat, while the two Beppans place Leech on the stretcher and secure him in the rear with safety harnesses. The elderly alien offers to assist Anny into the craft, if she feels that she needs it. If not, once everyone is loaded on, the craft rises several meters off the ground, and takes off fast towards the outskirts of Suplex City.
From even a mile away, Ticoga's personal vessel - the Direption - can be seen. It is massive in size, circular with green accents along its otherwise metallic silver hull. It is clearly a modern version of the ancient Frieza Force command ships that the World Trade Fleet chose to recreate. The five forward bubble-like view ports and dozen claw-like landing legs give the vessel an insect-like appearance.
Below the ship, the loading ramps are lowered, and the hundreds of plastic and metallic crates are seen being loaded by locals. Ticoga had ensured that each of the several dozen workers were compensated by him personally, to endure the contents of the supplies made it onto the ship unharmed, and untampered with.
The hovercraft comes to a halt near a much smaller ramp, one that appeared to have moving steps leading up into the front of the ship. The two Beppans jump out, and pull the stretcher with Leech off the rear, and head for that ramp as Ticoga and the elderly reptile alien follow suit.

Anny was just ready to go. This conversation had ground to a halt and that was for the best. She should have never joked about it. But she was really confused about how Ticoga didn't understand this stuff. She supposed it was just a cultural difference. Maybe they were asexual? Anny had never seen a female Aroscian. Hell, Ticoga was the first Aroscian she had ever seen. Anny jumped on not taking the elderly alien hand for help. She was strong enough to still get on without any help. The Craft was pretty fast and it leads them to a large ship. "Woah." She had seen a few of these in scrapyards before but never fully intact. It was a pretty big ship. "Not a bad operation here," Anny said glancing at all the people loading crates for him. Seems he had a few people working for him to at least load his ship. She glanced as the Beppa took her brother away. She was really not sure how she felt about it but she could sense his ki. If he got into trouble she'd do something about it. Though she didn't fancy her chances. Yet, Ticoga seemed nice enough so she just sighed and followed Ticoga.

"Over here." the elderly reptilian alien directs. The Beppans carrying Leech bring him into a large, sterile white room filled with expensive equipment. Leech is placed on a table, and then the Beppans leave, allowing the physician to take a look at Leech. Grunting, the elderly doctor swabs at Leech's injuries, pouring a strange blueish green liquid over them and wrapping Leech's more serious wounds. Minor wounds are simply covered with sticky patches. "You know, Ticoga, you really should invest in a rejuvination chamber. That would be far more effective for injuries like these."
Ticoga, who had followed them and took a seat in the waiting area, grimaces.
"I certainly plan to do so." he replies simply.
The doctor shuts a glass chamber over the table Leech is resting on, and sets a basic x-ray to check for anything else.
"No broken bones, but this one's ribs are bruised." the doctor tells Anny. "He will recover well, though. Just let yourselves rest before jumping into another fight."
The doctor opens the cover, and walks over to Anny first.
"Come with me over here, young miss." the doctor dictates. "I need to make sure I clean any and all injuries, so I will need you to remove some clothing. This area is more private. Ticoga, please wait here and I will get to you."
The doctor heads over to an enclosed smaller room, carrying a tray of swabs, wrappings, and the blueish green liquid he'd used on Leech. There was nothing malicious in the air, the doctor simply wanted to give Anny a thorough check up, to ensure she too had all her injuries addressed and cleaned. hirudinea

Anny glanced as Leech was taking away to go get his wounds checked. The doctor made a good point that Ticoga should invest in a rejuvenation chamber to heal people faster. That might not be bad for them either. They seemed to be always getting their ass kicked. It seemed Leech was just fine. Just a few bruises. "Of course. He is stubborn but it does not mean he is unnaturally tough." Anny turned her head to the Doctor as she told him he'd check her injuries. She grunted, "Fine." If the doctor tried anything she'd just kill him. She walked over glancing back at Ticoga. "Hope you like your doctor." She gave a thumbs-up before walking inside to let the doctor treat her while she moved the clothes that needed to be removed. "Make this quick. I am not really the type to have a doctor check my injures. I just bare with them but I suppose this one time I'll see how you can help and make sure I am not in danger of getting a punctured lung or something insane like that." That had been a brutal fight it would be good to check her injuries.

"This will be as quick as medically necessary, young miss." the elderly alien replies dryly, wetting a swab on a plastic stick with a cleaning agent. The doctor checks over Anny's injuries, clicking his tongue with irritation before applying the solution onto her bruises and scrapes. Once her torso, arms, and legs were properly treated, the doctor does a routine check, feeling at her ribs to check for any wincing on her part. If she did, that would mean cracked or even broken rib bones.
Satisfied with the results, the doctor picks up a glass vial of that same liquid he'd used on Leech, and began pouring the contents carefully onto Anny's more serious cuts and scrapes, and then bandages them.
"Keep these on for a day or two." he instructs sternly. "The solution I applied is the same substance used in the much larger machines I keep telling Ticoga to bother to purchase. It's only marginally as effective like this, but it will get the job done."
The doctor motions to Anny to follow him out of the private room.
"I would suggest taking it easy on yourselves, but I imagine my warnings won't matter much once you leave." the old alien grunts. "At any rate, you should be good to go, and healthy to boot."
The doctor then proceeds to do the same treatment for Ticoga, who seemed to basically be wearing another set of armor under his battle jacket - though that was just the natural carapace Arcosians were able to grow over their skin. The doctor shoots an irritable look at Ticoga, but then shakes his head morosely once he'd gotten behind the Arcosian. Unlike with Anny, Ticoga's treatment was in the open. And if Anny had been paying attention, she may notice ragged, long scars - like jagged tearing - along Ticoga's back, and nape of the neck.
These were whip wounds that never properly healed. Ticoga, on the other hand, seemed oblivious and merely stared forward, mumbling something about cooking.

Anny grunted and let the doctor do her work. She really didn't like this old fart checking her up but he seemed to just be helping her so at least he was a man of his word. Anny nodded as the Doctor explained that she needed to keep the bandages on for a day or two. She nodded and she put her clothes back on. She was not going to leave the room naked. Though she did try to not cover her bandages. She was sure it'd be better to not do that. Still, it was a pain so she covered a few. She only had one pair of clothes so it was hard to try to not cover most of the bandages. "Whatever." She walked out as she watched as the alien seemed to be working on Ticoga. Anny noticed the scars running down his back. She glanced a bit. She had has seen scars like that before. As a pirate of course you see whip marks from time to time. Thought these ones did look pretty nasty. It was a surprise to her that Ticoga might have possibly been a slave at some point considering how strong he was but Anny just watched without saying a word. It was not her place to ask about Ticoga life.

Once the doctor had finished dressing Ticoga's injuries, he seems to rustle his beard.
"Now then, I suggest that you refrain from further stress on your body." the doctor chides Ticoga. "This time it was a cracked rib. Next time could be a punctured lung."
"I don't have lungs, but I understand the meaning." Ticoga replies, pulling his battle jacket back on. "I can say that I will be careful - I cannot say that I will be able to avoid battles at all. Danger often finds me, regardless of my actions."
The doctors huffs, but says nothing. Ticoga looks over at Leech, and then to the doctor.
"How long before he regains consciousness?" the Arcosian asks evenly.
"Mmmm... relatively soon, I would think." the elderly alien replies. "He suffered a minor concussion, but no permanent damage was done."
Ticoga turns back to Anny, and offers a polite bow.
"The two of you are welcome to rest as long as you require aboard my ship." Ticoga tells Anny, straightening his posture. "But do consider staying long enough for dinner. I am confident in my competency as a cook; I am sure you and your brother will enjoy a smattering of what I plan to make tonight."

Anny listened carefully to what the doctor said about Ticoga. Guess they did a number on him. She supposed their injures split between the two of them? She was not really sure how it all worked. Though it was neat to learn that Aroscian didn't have lungs. She was not sure how that worked but she was not going to question it. Every species was different, she didn't know how that all worked. Ticoga seemed fine with them staying as Anny nodded. "Yah thanks we will probably just need a day. Find somewhere to sleep then we will head out in the morning." Anny stretched and let out a yawn. "Fighting you took a lot out of me. I just wanna find somewhere to lie down." Anny knew with their injures it may be best to stay a few more days but she also knew Leech would want to get a move on. While the food was tempting, she'd rather eat before they went. She just wanted to relax right now. As long as they didn't get into a serious fight they should be fine regardless of the there current state. "So can you show me somewhere to sleep?" Anny waited for Ticoga to show her around.

Ticoga nods at Anny's request.
"I understand, you and your brother have your own goals to work towards." Ticoga concedes. "Another time, then. As for your rooms, this way. The officers' quarters have not been fully furnished yet, but they do have basic amenities."
Ticoga turns to the elderly alien, and pulls a silver rod, roughly the length of a pen, and hands it over. The doctor looks surprised, but accepts it.
"Ticoga, that's -"
"Due payment, that's all." Ticoga interrupts. "I have no qualms paying you with this. Once the Fleet fell, its assets were split apart. The Saiyan Kingdom has no use for this currency, neither does the Earth, I suspect. But these still hold considerable value, if nothing more than due to material they are made from."
"As you say, Ticoga. Consider me invested - should you have need of my services, by all means, contact me without worry." the doctor replies, bowing his head politely. He then turns to Anny and offers her a polite bow as well. "Your brother will be fine, young miss. Please take my advise, and certainly relax. Good day, both of you."
With that, the old alien leaves the room ahead of Ticoga, who motions to Anny to follow. They take a rounding hall further into the interior of the vessel, and stop at a metal door. Ticoga enters a pass code, and the door slides open with a soft hiss, disappearing into the wall it connects to.
"Here you are, Miss Anny." Ticoga says, stepping aside. "The room is large enough for both of you, or if you prefer separate rooms, just one door down is another room. I will leave you now so you may rest."
Ticoga clasps his hands behind his back, and walks past Anny.
"If you two should leave before I rise, there is an open pantry in each room with non-perishable consumables." Ticoga informs Anny, stopping to look back at her. "Take what you feel you need. And if I've not the chance, I would like to thank you both - my understanding of controlling my Ki has improved. I look forward to taking the lessons further. Good night, Miss Anny."
And with that, Ticoga heads for the vessel's command center, intending to enjoy the quiet for a few hours...

Anny nodded, Ticoga understood what she meets so that meant there would be no issues. She smiled lightly and let Ticoga and the doctor lead her. What surprised her was when Ticoga paid the man. She had assumed he was just some servant but he was paying his men? Maybe this was a gig to consider. The alien soon left leaving just her and Ticoga. She followed him to the bedrooms. He asked if they prefeed separate rooms or one together. "We can go together. Saves you space and I'm used to sleeping close to my brother." Anny then quickly realized how that sounded. "Not like in the same bed or something like that. Just we are always together since were basically split off from a single being." Hopefully, he understood what she had meant and didn't think of anything else.
Ticoga also told them where to go if they needed any food. Anny nodded. "You been very helpful. Thank you Ticoga. I'll have to think about your offer. In the future, I may come back and offer to help you. We will have to see how Leech feels. We probably lose a lot of freedom working for someone." Anny then watched as Ticoga went to leave. He seemed thankful for what he had learned from them as she yawned. "Welp time to head to bed." though she did wait to see if Ticoga came back to say something. If he didn't she'd head right to bed. No time to waste for the weary.
