[Thread's pl: 128,000 - Anti-sense active]
The silence of the Fortuneteller's Desert at night is amongst those things you can only experience by yourself; no amount of well-chosen words could qualify the tranquility, only ocasionally broken by a soft wind breezing across the golden sea, illuminated by a dim moonlight. Other than that, everything was asleep, there was no road, cities or even much wildlife that interupted the peace and quiet of this unique part of the planet. If one needed a place to reflect on himself, there had to be but a few existing places to even compare with the serenity that could be a night here.
Of course, this was not the reason Vangreth was walking the empty horizon of his beautiful haven of tranquility. In fact, it was pretty much the opposite really! The Alien knew that there was few better place to find an opponent for a sparring session than these kind of areas, where there was very few things to be broken in the way of a battle, if any at all. Vangreth was scanning the area, both with ki-sensing and with his good old eyes, in search of someone interesting that could provide him with a much needed training spar.
Memories of his previous fights here, including his very first spar with Russ kept Vangreth's hopes up that someone would appear to challenge him; someone strong enough to allow him improvements over the course of a fight! After all, he had to make sure not to fall behind in terms of power if Earth ever needed his help... or if he had to keep his promise once again when that special friend returned. He looked at the sky and smiled lightly, he had to get involved with the strongest individuals of the planet if he wanted to progress faster, to fight amongst them if need and to become a hero like a certain Ogre made him want to.
'' Tsk... Sure, when I'm casually having a shopping day, I can feel some crazy signature around, but when I actually look for a fight, then there is nobody left in the world...''
He said to himself... and he knew too well that his inaptitude at being sensed was the worst curse he could have in those situations... people could not find him by ki-sensing even if he powered up at his maximum right there and flared his aura for an hour... that would be a decent way of making sure people knew he wanted a challenge.
And surely if someone comes looking for me on Earth, then they'd also have trouble finding me...
He thought, kicking a little bit of sand that went flying in the air. His anti-sense was part of those few reminders that he always will be different, no matter how well he did at integrating into Earth's society... of course, being unique also had a lot of ups, but the downs just sometimes came in to ruin what could have been a good moment...
Eventually, Vangreth grew tired of aimlessly walking, and decided to pull out his capsule house and perhaps make himself some food; he had been walking for hours now, and even if he technically was not lacking energy in any way, a good old meal could always encourage him to keep looking for that bit of improvement.
So there was the alien's house, a little beacon of light in this otherwise vastly empty plains. A dome-like structure with a few lights on and a bit of smoke coming from the top as he began to cook a variety of meat-based snacks; the best kind of food outside of desert!

Yanwang wandered around the Fortuneteller Desert with a weight attached to his back. It was hard work but he had to be able to train anywhere anytime. Having the Fujin Bag made that a lot easier to do. He could just make whatever he needed to train. He needed to train more so he could become even more powerful. But of course, these weights didn't help that much. The best type of training was is combat practice. So he needed someone to train with. But as he walked through the desert he saw a house in the distance. Yanwang pulled the weights off as he began to head towards Vangreth to see what he was doing. Yanwang decided to walk over to check it out. If someone was there maybe he could get some food and water from them. It would be better than just making something from his Fujin Bag. He was really limited to making really creative and delicious food with just his Fujin Bag. He walked over to the house and glanced around. "Hello anyone here!" Yanwang yelled as he walked towards the Capsule house in the middle of the desert.

At first, Vangreth enjoyed the calm of his house whilst he prepared his delicious nightly snack, the smell of crispy bacon, chicken wings and steak filled the house with the alien's happy humming; feasts like this were still a new thing to him, especially at night like this; the fact that he could do whatever and whenever, coupled with his crazy alien metabolism, allowed him to eat similarily to a Saiyan when it came to it. On him was an appron with 'Kitchen hero' written on it, which completed the look of the oven mitten very well, as long as nobody saw, of course.
Then, the Muko-Jin froze when he heard a familiar voice yell in the halls of his house... so the moment he abandonned his search for someone and decided to call it a day was the moment someone decided to enter his home without knocking and started yelling?
Without losing a single moment, Vangreth went to intercept that person! He rushed across his house and reached the entrance, where he saw that Yanwang was walking away towards his living room.
'' Wait, I totally believed that people were suppose to knock... or like, wait there until you invite them in!''
Vangreth adressed the ogre with an accusatory remark.
'' If you could please remove your shoes and explain what you're doing here, I might consider sharing some food.''
He finally said, smiling in a smug manner as he crossed his arm, recalling what he was wearing and hoping it was not too wierd for Yanwang to see him like that.
The alien had no idea how Yanwang managed to sneak on him, surely it had to be the smell of food, coupled with his hunger, that clouded his ki-sensing ability, because in this very moment, he could easily detect his imposing energy signature clear as day.

Yanwang glanced as he walked into the house. "Woah this is a nice house." Guess he should have knocked but whoever was here would not mind. He just knew it. Plus it could be one of those rest spots they set up in the desert so people had water if they got lost. Yanwang turned as a voice filled the room. It was Vangreth. They meet last time in the city and stopped a robbery. That had been a fun but short adventure the two had. "Hey, how are you doing." But he seemed not too pleased he just entered without knocking. "Oh yeah, I should have done that," Yanwang said with a shrug. Yanwang really didn't care for the proper edict. If he was a proper kid he'd not of stolen an ancient artifact like the Fujin Bag. Vangreth then told him to remove his shoes and explain why he was here. If he did that he might get some food. Yanwang glanced at his shoes. Well, it was the only goodbye for a few minutes. Yanwang took them off before explaining. "Oh, I was just wandering around doing some training. Then I saw this house and decided to check it out." Pretty simple stuff.

'' Thanks, I really made it my own since I bought it! Trying to make it my own ya know?''
Vangreth replied to Yanwang's remark about it being a nice house. He had been adding decoration and adjusting details here and there to really bring the house together. For it to be his own personal space, he needed to put a lot of him into it all, and that's basically what he did.
It seemed as if Yanwang was unconcerned about just entering someone's home without a knock or at heads up, but the alien shrugged it off; perhaps that was an ogre thing? Or maybe he just felt familiar with him, which was flattering to believe.
Vangreth motionned Yanwang to follow him in the kitchen where he tended to his food, which was coming together and smelled even better out of the oven! As he did that, the alien listened to what Earth's greatest hero had to say about the situation, which certainly made sense to him.
'' So that's how it is uh...'' He whispered to himself, nodding politely.
While he spoke, Vangreth turned off the oven and distributed the snacks on the table with a little bit of pride as he removed his apron and began his little nightly meal.
'' If you're looking for training, I suggest we give a little spar you and me! Two heroes training together, doesn't it sound great? Plus, sparring is just the best way of improving... certainly beats lifting heavy stuff and flying very fast... don't you agree?''
After these words, Vangreth ate a piece of bacon, motionning at the Ogre to help himself; he had made enough food to keep leftovers, so there shouldn't be trouble with a second person at the table.

Yanwang nodded to Vangreth. "Yeah, it is nice." He didn't know how different it was from a normal home but it didn't seem that bad. Still, he was confused about why he built it here of all places. This seemed an odd place to have a home unless Vangreth could move it. Then Yanwang realized it could be one of those capsule homes. Guess that made more sense then Vagreath just building the house in the desert. Yanwang sniffed the air as he smelled the enlightening aroma of food. "mmmm that smells good." Yanwang followed Vangreath to see that was all about and the food was pretty good looking. But he was not going to eat any. Bacon was good but it a bit too fatty for him. Vangreath then noted if he needed training then the two of them could train with a spar. Yanwang rubbed his chin. He always happy to spar with someone but he was unsure how strong Vangreth was. Then again the last time they meet, he said he had closed a lot of the gap between them. It was worth a shot and it was better than hauling weights. "Sure let's go spar whenever you're ready." Yanwang grinned and gave a thumbs up.

While Vangreth was confident in his own strenght; he knew for a fact that Yanwang outclassed him by a fair margin. While that meant he had very little to no chance of actually pulling his fair weight in a spar with the ogre, a taste of a power greather than his own could only be beneficial for his training, as he would have an idea of what this next step looks like.
The alien noticed Yanwang was not grabbing any food for himself and shrugged it off; perhaps his species just ate different from the Earthlings and himself, but whatever, he would simply keep some for later. He ate for a moment and then quickly began to preserve the rest.
'' Not a big fan of meat are you? That's fine, but if I might ask, what do you eat? I've seen you consume chips before if I recall correctly. Is it something about it being alive in the first place? ''
Vangreth asked, hoping he had not done something to offend the ogre.
'' Well then! Let's go! I'm glad you accepted, seeing as you are Earth's best hero after all! I can certainly improve form leaning with the best of the best.''
With those words, Vangreth was done cleaning behind himself, and simply went for the exit. Assuming Yanwang followed him, he would enter the code at the door, and just as quickly as it appeared, the capsule home turned back into a tiny pill-like object, which he grabbed mid-air then pocketed in one swift motion.
Vangreth took a deep breath in, nodding to himself and getting a little further from Yanwang before letting his aura flow around him, unleashing the power of his base form.
'' Ready when you are Yanwang! '' He shouted, his excitement could be heard in his voice and seen in his body language as he seemed hyper for this duel.

Yanwang glanced up at Vangreath as he asked if he was not a fan of meat. "No, I like meat. I'm just not a bacon guy. Too much fat." Yanwang said with a shrug. Though it did look pretty good about right now. He seemed to think cause it uses to be alive he didn't want to eat it. He didn't care about eating a former animal it was the cycle of life. Though guess he ate meat goods a lot less than vegetables. Either way, it was time to spar. Who cared about the food. He wanted to fight and if he was really hungry after he could get the food later. Yanwang walked after Vangreth who seemed to be pretty hyped for this spar. Guess he was pretty strong at this point and Vangreath assumed he was the greatest hero of Earth. Who would not be excited to spar with someone like him? Yanwang walked out and stretched as Vangreath was ready when he was. That was good he needed to stretch first. He'd finished stretching before staring back at Vangreath. He was not going to go easy on him. Yanwang aura flared around him as he launched off the dirt. He rocketed towards Vangreth and aimed to punch him square in the chest.

While Vangreth was fully aware that he was outmatched in this fight, he was ready to face what was possibly the strongest force he went against so far... well... save for that other one, but he could not let this influence the fact that Yanwang claimed to be Earth's greatest hero, and since the planet seemed to still have their freedom, it meant that he must have fought some of the countless threats that lurks around in the darkness of space. His stance was firm, his body was warmed up and ready, and his spirit, most of all, was ablazed.
The first offensive came from Yanwang directly, and while Vangreth was expecting as such, the ogre's sheer speed barely gave time for the Muko-Jin to prepare a defensive stance before the punch connected... while he had managed to get his arms between the ogre's fist and his guts, right after the impact, his guard broke, sending him off balance as Yanwang's punch connected with his chest, and the alien had his first taste of what Yanwang was really made of.
But now was not the time to curse his own weakness compared to the ogre, but it was the time to embrace his strenght! Right after getting that punch, and tanking it at the best of his ability, Vangreth would set his foot firmly on the ground, regaining his balance, and would charge a single punch with his energy! His right fist covered itself with Vangreth's purple aura and he would attempt to bring it down harsh on Yanwang, going straight for the face; their proximity gave him this opening, but he knew for a fact that Yanwang had the time to do something about it. It was only a matter of just how serious he was taking this fight.
'' Void Strike''
He shouted right before his fist should make contact. If the blow would land, it would give him an opportunity to chain with a regular flurry of blows, just to keep the ogre busy; if he could manage that at all.

Yanwang was ready to go as he launched towards Vangreth. He threw a powerful punch that slammed down as Vangreth was knocking him off balance. "Heh, that is good." Yawnang landed but it seemed Vangreth was not going to be so easily beaten. He took that punch pretty well. Yanwang turned to see that Vangreth was gearing up for one really strong punch. That was not good at all. Yanwang didn't want to take that punch at all. Yanwang pulled his right fist back as it turned black with energy. Yanwang swung his fist forward as he caught their punch. Yanwang skidded back but he was able to absorb the force of Vangreth. Yanwang grinned but the chain of blows that Vangreth threw. They hit him and bounced him across the landscape. Yanwang landed rubbing his jaw. Those barrages of blows hurt a lot. Yanwang smashed his fists together. "Alright yah you're the real deal." Vangreath had really shrunk the gap. It was time for him to attack. Yanwang launched at Vangreth, "Time to see how you fight against me." Yanwang laughed and rushed to uppercut Vangreth with his left arm Then he would spin around and open his right palm the black energy from before still emanating from the hand as a burst of fire flew out to send Vangreth flying.

As Vangreth's fist collided with Yanwang's protection coming from his right arm, the Muko-Jin got irritated that the ogre was able to fully block his technique like that! Of course, that did seem to cost the hero energy, and that did tell him one thing; Yanwang was probably proficient with barriers, so although he could probably block 90% of what Vangreth would throw at him, there was still that 10% of things that could potentially work given the right conditions! The Muko-Jin would have to play around his opponent's perceived strenght if he was to prove himself to Earth's greatest hero!
'' Oh you think? Just wait until you see it all!''
Vangreth said with a smirk on his face as the ogre's compliment was heard. The alien was flying a good deal higher than Yanwang, which had gotten punched right into the ground. While he was expecting another offensive, he knew for a fact that all he could really do against the Ogre is tank the attack until an opening shows up, which well... made him wish he had barriers of his own to not take as much punishement as he was probably about to.
Well, turns out the ogre played him on that one. He could difficulty keep track of Yanwang's movement when he was on the attack, so the uppercut he threw at him landed right then and there, opening Vangreth's defenses completely to his following flame-based attack, sending the Muko-Jin flying through the sky. On the bright side, he was sent upward, so he would not collide with the ground like the Ogre had just before... but that did not make it all hurt any less! After a few seconds of uncontrollable drifting, he managed to catch himself up and stop his course, regaining his firm stance.
Alright... I can't just keep taking these kinds of hits... I have to figure out a way...
He thought to himself, but he knew for a fact he did not have much time to think at all, and with that in mind, he rushed back towards Yanwang, his aura flaring as he flew the distance back to him.
Upon contact, Vangreth was getting ready to attempt to dodge the first attack that would come his way; he was going to fly right pass Yanwang, hoping he would attack him as he approached, dodging that attack with his flying speed, and then attack in the back! If the first part of his plan worked and the ogre was destabilized, now in his back, Vangreth would 'jump' from his position and attemp to land a powerful dive-kick in his sparring partner's lower back. If that happen to work, it should send Yanwang flying back towards the ground, but this time, Vangreth would follow him and attempt to accelerate his descent, giving it more and more velocity! If all of this work, when they would be close to the ground, Vangreth would essentially drop-kick him into the ground, jumping back with the same movement.
Of course, the alien knew this whole plan was unlikely to succeed in its whole, but he just had to plan each move if the opportunities showed up.

Yanwang was having a bit more trouble then he expected with Vangreth. He was really tough now. But Yanwang just needed to focus. And that focus was what he did. He was able to land his uppercut on Vangreth jaw before firing his flame-based attack. He sent him flying up towards the sky. He managed to catch himself though and stop from flying off across the star. Yanwang didn't want Vangreth blasting off this was just a spar after all. He didn't want it to end early because he uppercut Vangreth to the moon or something ridiculous that he could do if they were not careful. At least he was pretty sure. Vangreth flew at him as Yanwang threw a punch at his friend but it missed. Vangreth flew right around it. He had not expected that at all. He was hit in the back by a powerful attack. He was not sure what it as but it sent him skidding away.
Yanwang skidded his back really in pain. That kick really hurt. Its been a while since something had done damage like that. He really was growing rusty, this spar would help with that. Vangreth followed up though before he could worry about reacting which was a dropkick. He was slammed by the dropkick as he coughed out. Man Vangreth was really good at this fighting stuff. Yanwang knew he was good at this stuff too he just had to show it. As the kick landed Yanwang grasped his leg and pushed himself up. "HAAAAAAAH" He went to throw Vangreth through the air in a straight line if he was able to do that he rushed towards him running faster then he intended to throw him. He would throw a barrage of blows at him. If he didn't throw him, he does the same just without the really awesome running next to him and punching him.

Vangreth was absolutely shocked that his whole plan went perfectly! Perhaps Yanwang, with all his power, had neglected his training a little? If so, then they could learn even more from each other! Just that idea sparked even more enjoyement for the muko-jin; they both had to adapt to the other in this fight, and they were not even transphormed in any way yet! The thrill of even thinking about the next move made his blood bloil with anticipation. Well, perhaps a little too much?
When Yanwang sprung back into action, the alien was not expecting him to ready-up before he could even jump away from him, and so, he was caught completely off-guard! And he though it was bad when he was ready, but the following pummeling he got reminded him that, while all of this was for fun, they were not holding back their punches a whole lot, and the ogre was much stronger than him still! He got dragged through the desert, and with each punch, both of them seemed to get faster and faster! Each blow coming from the ogre, Vangreth felt like another metaphorical truck hitting him!
He almost got fully overwhelmed, but during a single moment, his foot touched the ground... perhaps it was Yanwang leaving an opening for him, or perhaps it was dumb luck, but he had to turn this over right now if he wanted to ever stand his ground again.
'' ENOUGH!''
He screamed as his aura bursted around him! Quickly changing from his previous purple to a bright shade of red, the lines visible on his chest seemed to brighten-up as well, like searing metal, and his power spiked with this new form. His quick transformation should also have knocked back Yanwang at lease a little, but now was the time for Vangreth to take full advantage of the surely short time he would have when he was stronger than Yanwang.
Hopefully before the ogre could catch-up, Vangreth would dive right back into close quarter, opening his offensive with an attack aimed at both his arms, to keep them away from his chest, then if successfull, chained with a powerful palm-strike right on Yanwang's chest. The point of this was to sent the ogre away while hopefully keeping his guard down!
If it worked, then Vangreth would follow up with a technique, but if it did not, then he would try to jump high enough in the sky to have the time to unleash it! In any case, the technique would be the same.
Vangreth would materialize a big spear of his energy next to his right arm, which hand was clenched open, as if holding some sort of orb, which he would push towards Yanwang, sending off the spear of energy towards him.
'' SHOOTING COMET!'' He would shout at his attack shot off towards Yanwang at high speed.

Yanwang threw a barrage of blows at Vangreth. He was able to land some but was it enough. He could not say for sure if he could keep Vangreth on the back foot. What was the point of this if it didn't lead to a really good comeback on his part. Of course, Vangreth knew this and he screamed as his aura bursted around him. He was sent skidding back as Vangreth seemed to have transformed. "Uh oh." Yanwang was pretty sure that was not good. Yanwang decided it would be best to power up. He had not used his pump up form for a while but it was just a worse version of Fujin Fury. So why not use that instead. Yanwang pulled the Fujin Bag in front of him as the magic affected him. He grew slightly to be around 4 feet tall. He had sharper teeth and shaved down horns. Other than that he looked exactly the same.
"Alright time for my Fury." Yanwang roared though he was not really angry so I guess it made no sense. He was hit in the chest before he could react by the powerful physical blow of Vangreth. "Ouch!" Yanwang bounced off the sand. He forgot this form defenses were not as high as there offenses. Just one of the many weaknesses he had. He really wished for that reason he was sometimes a blue ogre. They were pretty tough. No time to think about as Vangreth leaped into the air and was charging up a strong attack. "Uh oh?" Yanwang looked up shocked as Vangreth pulled back and formed a spear. He fired the Shooting Comet down at him as he looked up. "Oh, that is not good at all. Hmm, I should do something about that." Yanwang pulled his fist back black energy surrounding it. In this form, he needed to go offense. "Fujin Bag Lucky Jackpot!" Out of his fist came a rocket empowered by his ki and magic. It slammed into the Shooting Comet and broke the attack to pieces after some struggle that was left of the rocket flew at Vangreth aiming to slam into his stomach.

While he had hoped for his transformation to at least give him a few seconds of advantage, there was going to be none of that. As soon as Vangreth used his Eldritch Power, and before he could even land the first punch in it, he saw the Ogre transform, and a wave of powered-up Yanwang hit Vangreth's ki-sensing ability... he had just widened the distance between them! How could he just be so strong?! When the time came for Vangreth to fire his attack, he knew it was about to fail, and more than that, he knew he had exposed himself completely to a counter.
And that counter came, as soon as the alien saw that dreaded bag again, he knew he was in trouble. Surely enough, Yanwang seemed to use the bag to pull out yet another one of his crazy tricks, and that one had just totally countered his own technique, and came right there to connect with Vangreth's stomach, folding the muko-jin in two as he growled in pain and was sent backward! Yanwang had drawn first blood, as from his open mouth, some of Vangreth's fluid came crashing into the ground. The ogre's strenght was impressive to say the least.
Once he got rid of the rocket, Vangreth would get back up on his feets; he was not about to abandon just yet, and one thing was made perfectly clear... he was not about to just abandon because his opponent was crazy stronger than him now, he was going to fight back! He pulled himself up and flared his aura, his blood boiling at this challenge in front of him! Perhaps he was getting a little intense for this spar, but then again, this is usually when spar becomes much more interesting!
Vangreth powered himself up once again and rushed towards Yanwang! He had noticed that, while the ogre's offense was crazy, it seemed as if his defense was lacking! Then he would only need to overwhelm him!
'' Alright, you're strong... but can you catch up with this!'' Vangreth shouted, visibly shaken by the ogre's last offensive.
Right as he was dashing, Vangreth would grow two arms from his back! Both arm seemed to be semi-physical, being partially made of pure energy alone! He would use those to send twice as much punches as he could! With four arms, surely he could force Yanwang into being defensive, right? At least he hoped so, because it was his only chance of standing his ground after the brutal clash their technique has just made!
To keep this up, if it even worked in the first place, Vangreth would need a combo idea! If he managed to get Yanwang to give him some ground, then he would attemp to grab a hold of both of the ogre's arm, two arm for each one of his, and then give Yanwang his best headbut! If that connected, he would then jump for a quick knee right to his face, followed by him grabbing his opponent's head and throwing him into the ground, after which he would step back to catch his breath.
If all of that connected, then Vangreth would follow it up with a little taunt.
'' Anything else? ''
