From the depths of space, a massive, round vessel approaches the world of Arcose at a great speed. Ticoga stands in the command salon, arms crossed over his chest and tapping his right index finger against his arm. Ticoga was both nervous, and antsy at the same time. Marma, who had become accustomed to Ticoga's typical calm demeanor, is made all the more nervous herself for it. Seated at the controls, Marma shakes her head and returns her attention to the flight console.
"Huh... Um, Mister Ticoga?" Marma calls over to the Arcosian. Her console shows a blinking light over a phone-like symbol.
"Yes, Miss Marma?" Ticoga replies, keeping his attention on the ever growing planet as they draw closer, visible through the chamber's giant bubble like view port.
"We're being hailed - most likely Arcose Interstellar Traffic." Marma tells him. "How should we answer?"
"Provide for them of this vessel's identification codes, point of flight origin, and our intention to land." Ticoga replies curtly. Marma makes a noise of confirmation, and goes about following her instructions. Ticoga can barely hear the voice of the other person, but chooses to ignore it. When Marma finishes her work, Ticoga speaks again. "Take us to the space port located at Freeza Capital."
"So we're heading for the Capital then..." Marma says, more to herself than to Ticoga. The Arcosian grimaces, saying nothing.
The last time he had been here, Ticoga had been relegated to a meaningless position, well away from the important day to day activities. Through the many people he'd encountered, he had learned to place an actual value on himself. He could have chosen the other city, or hell, even the glacial belt and given his message remotely - but that was not enough. When a great battle had been waged on Arcose, involving Kayen and several powerful others, Ticoga had been too far away from the action to make a difference. And when he did draw close, he had been caught up in the aftermath of a Ki blast, knocking him unconcious.
Awakening from that, he hadn't heard much of what resulted of that battle, only that the Saiyan Queen had won the day. Instead, he'd chosen to abandon his post, and seek out something more. He risked his life to leave, or so he had thought. Kayen, who had fought many powerful beings, told Ticoga that he was stronger than many of the Nobility here on Arcose. She revealed to him that his status, and steadfast adherence to that status, prevented him from making something of himself.
Kayen believed he had potential.
Zriracha believed he had a purpose.
Courge believed that even slaves could become leaders.
Marma believed that Ticoga was worth following.
He had a reason to exist - and that did not include remaining a slave to a defeated society.
The Direption flies efficiently through a strong blizzard as they punch through Arcose's atmosphere, temporarily engulfed in a blaze that extinguishes in Arcose's frigid air. The capital comes into view, and Ticoga can feel his pulse quicken. Soon, very soon, his days of calling himself by a Low Born is at an end. It was not enough to simply accept a role with the Saiyan Kingdom. Not enough to just stop calling himself such; his people's society would be forced to hear his declaration. The Nobility would be forced to hear his defiance, and they would not stop him now.
Those that tried, Ticoga already planned to slaughter. He unconsciously reaches up to rub the whip scars on the nape of his neck - his physical torment at the hands of the World Trade Fleet, their mental conditioning, and Arcose's suffocating class system... he is going to reject them all. Even now, the new battle jacket he wears displays the World Trade Fleet's symbol, but for him it meant something else. It was a blatant challenge. To his former masters, and even to his new ones.
"Coming in for the landing... Landing struts extending." Marma announces. Indeed, from the bottom of the ship, over a dozen claw like landing legs unfold from the ship's belly, giving the Direption an insect like appearance as it settles down. "....Landing successful. Alright, Mister Ticoga, we're all settled in."
"You may stay with the ship if you wish, Miss Marma. Arcose is quite unpleasant for those not able to withstand considerable cold." Ticoga tells her, letting his arms drop to his sides as he begins his march to the boarding ramp. But Marma jumps up from her seat, settling into step just behind and to the left of Ticoga.
"I'll be alright, sir." Marma replies, patting herself on the shoulder. "My resilience for that stuff is way better, what with my being an cyborg now. I'll be alright, but thank you for your concern."
Ticoga nods, clasping his hands against the small of his back.
"Oh, that reminds me, what about Mister Mumbo?" Marma asks.
"We are not his commanders - if Mister Mumbo wishes to remain on the ship, or take a tour of the capital, then he is free to do as he pleases." Ticoga replies. "He is our guest for as long as it entertains him. If he wishes to accompany us, all the merrier."
The response seemed to be good enough for Marma, who nods and goes quiet for the walk. When the boarding ramp lowers, they are greeted by the site of two rows of low ranked Arcosians and other various races. At the end of the line, stands an Arcosian with light purple skin and bright yellow biogems. Ticoga and Marma walk down the boarding ramp, and to Marma's surprise, many of the looks Ticoga receives go from shocked, to disgusted. As they walk between the rows, there are audibly angry voices, though muffled.
The Arcosian at the end, wearing a black and brown battle jacket, a much older model, looks at Ticoga with an expression of increasing revulsion. There is also a glint of recognition that Ticoga is glad to see.
"What is the meaning of this..?" the Arcosian growls, hands balling into fists. The Arcosian looks from the ship to Ticoga, as if completely confused.
"Pleased to meet you again, Staff Director Furio." Ticoga replies pleasantly, but Furio's response was to spit on the ground.
"Pah! For a Low Born to speak to me as if we were equals..!! First the damned monkeys conquer our world, and now slaves suddenly think they mean something!" Furio aggressively steps towards Ticoga. Marma braces herself, glancing back at the other soldiers gathered here. "You deserted your post! And this ship -- How in the frigid hell did you come to possess a World Trade Fleet capital ship?! You thieving slave..!"
Furio reaches towards Ticoga, but Ticoga's left hand shoots out, snatching Furio's wrist. Ticoga bends the arm at an awkward angle, surprising Furio and making the Arcosian yelp with pain as the elbow threatens to snap.
"How rude." Ticoga says with a conversational tone. "I don't answer to a weakling like you anymore, Staff Director. I answer directly to Her Highness, currently. To put your hands on me, is to insult Her Highness the Queen. I can't allow that."
"Gah! What the hell are you talking about?!" Furio growls, struggling against Ticoga's grasp. "That stand in Queen, Nashua?! That monkey is dead!"
"No no, I refer to Queen Kayen. And how rude of you, to speak so poorly of the departed Queen Nashua." Ticoga replies, his eyes glazing over. "It seems as though I am the only one who knows their place. Fitting, for a supposed slave, no?"
With that, Ticoga snaps Furio's arm at the elbow, and knocks him aside with a flick of the tail. The soldiers gathered, weaker than Furio by a wide margin, stagger back fearfully. Ticoga turns to them with a smile.
"I wish to speak with the Nobility, I have a proclamation to deliver." Ticoga tells them, his scarlet eyes threatening. "If they are not available, kindly please ask them to make time."
This was it. Sooner than he believed he would ever dare to attempt. This was the first step of Ticoga's emancipation, and eventual move towards an unknown destiny. He only need wait. Marma was beside herself as the soldiers run past, stopping only to help Furio away from the clearly dangerous Ticoga.
"...Mister Ticoga... What is this about..?" Ticoga hears Marma asks tentatively. For a few moments, Ticoga doesn't reply. He turns away from Marma. The act somehow makes Marma's pulse quicken, like adrenaline.
"...Everything." he replies quietly. "...This is about everything I've endured at the hands of the Fleet, and of this world's class system. This... this is about my freedom."

Thread Power Level: 130,000 | Dai Majin (x1/x3) Active! [SIG] Goon Boon: Toughness Triumphs active for a +x1 defensive boost! Current PL: 130,000/520,000
Yawning, the great beast arose from its slumber. Deep in the bowels of the Direptor, Mumbo shook himself awake. He'd left a deep valley of drool on the bed he'd randomly claimed within Ticoga's ship, which in turn left some nasty wet spots on the Majin's armor. How embarrassing! Sure, he could magic them away, but it did give him pause. If he let himself be seen in full gear, it might look like Ticoga had endorsement from the Goons. It might go over poorly, and he wasn't quite sure how he wanted to handle things just yet.
Snapping his fingers, the armor disappeared, and in its place was something akin to a mobster's attire. Black slacks and a button-up shirt, accented nicely by a white tie that was a little too short to fit his frame. From his shirt pocket he produced a chocolate cigar, and bit down hard. The other end poofed out a plume of choco-dust, and he smirked. Time to go see why they stopped.
It didn't take long to find the two dopes, and it seemed they'd found their way into a scuffle of some kind. Rows of soldiers had greeted them at the boarding ramp of the ship, and one in particular didn't seem too keen on their appearance. What kinda reputation did this guy have, anyway? Maybe he was a deserter; a runaway and a coward. Though the thought only flashed in his mind for a second or two, it reminded Mumbo of himself those precious few months ago. He sneered at the idea, and whisked away the notion.
"Ahem."
Mumbo stomped down the ramp to Ticoga's side, mere moments after he scared the pants off a dozen or so soldiers, and smiled wide.
"Big day, eh Kiddo? I'll try not ta interfere too much. Tink of me as a uh... Villainous Consultant, fer today."
With that, Mumbo took place behind the Arcosian, and tried not to look too intimidating. He didn't wanna steal a potential warlords dramatic entrance, after all.

Mollusc sat in the ice thinking to himself when he felt it. Mollusc leaned up like a zombie coming from a grave. One of the powers he had been hunting was on this planet. The leader of the stargoons of this era, Majin Mumbo. The large grey majin had been one of the people to witness him exploding in an attempt to kill Kitiana. Considering the last time he saw her she was in hell, guess something happened along the way regardless of his actions. Would have been nice of those stargoons to let him speed up the process. But they were more intent with wasting time more than anything else. Mollusc grinned as he got up his ki surrounding him "I will kill him. He seemed to be alone." He sensed noticing two weaker powerlevel near him. Recruit to his stargoons. Killing them would probably piss off the majin. He should do that first.
Mollusc rocketed over to the scene but it took him a bit of time. By the time he arrived, they seemed to have gotten done with a power he didn't even notice at first. Someone so weak he didn't even bother remembering their power signature existed. That what he did with most powers, he just ignored them. Those that weak were not people that usually mattered. Afterall, the universe nowadays only seemed to listen to power. "Well, I guess I found you. Easier then I expected." Mollusc's voice boomed out above the three and then the rest of the fodder that he didn't even care about. Mollusc grinned. "Mumbo was it. You remember me yes? You and your stargoons watched me blow myself up if I remember. You, your men and somehow Ramen however, you manipulated her to join you." Mollusc shook his head. "I have come here to kill you and these new recruits." He didn't even consider the fact Ticoga could just be working with Mumbo. He just assumed he was a goon.

Aurora took in a deep breath, the frigid air of the capitol filling her lungs as the Arcosian breathed in without pain for the first time in almost a year. Glancing down, Aurora looks at the purple lines that crossed along her (currently disguised as blue) crystals. The aftereffects of her healing, she supposed. Much like the china bowls of earth's culture, inlaid with gold as they were, she supposed that it could be... a good thing. Even if her heart gem was no longer a sheen of complete red, it hadn't been for a long time. Ever since her Mistake. And now that it was fixed... There was something different about it. It was... stronger. The magic of the core, of her home planet, had not only fixed her but improved her. Which the Arcosian took to be just another justification for her mission to act as her people's champion. Free of the influence of the ancient and degraded nobility, as well as the enemy of the debased and horrific Saiyan Kingdom. There wasn't much further for her to go, either. Soon, she could stake her claim openly. And it wouldn't be like last time. There would be no more Mistakes. Only victory.
As she walked through the streets of the city, her power suppressed to normal levels and her crystals changed so as to disguise herself, Aurora couldn't help but glance towards her Scouter as it beeped, altering her to the presence of... of... The arcosian's eyes widen as she halts in her tracks. Two power levels in the direction of the port, both far higher than others of her kind. For a moment, she thought that they had been sent to find her, but that made no sense. One was obviously transformed, and the other was weak enough to consider sending him against Aurora as practically suicide, even before she had managed to fix her heart. So it couldn't have been about her. Then... what was it? She found herself consumed with both curiosity and apprehension, as the arrival of powerful beings upon Arcose had yet to spell anything good for the planet. Yes, including even herself. Starting back up again, Aurora quickly rises into the air to join the air traffic above, heading in the direction of the port. If something happened, she could escape, and if this was important it would be best to see what happens.
It didn't take long to track down the power levels, although the fact that they weren't in much of a public place was.. troublesome. Fortunately, a quick visit to the nearby break room for the workers of the port provided her with a fitting enough disguise, and the Arcosian entered into the same open area as the two signatures... just in time to see a recognisable face get smacked to the side by one she didn't recognise. The weaker power level, when compared to- WAS THAT MUMBO OF THE STAR GOONS?! Aurora was barely able to halt herself from stopping to stare at what was happening, instead merely pretending to be inputting something into a nearby terminal. Straining her ears, she heard the name Ticoga mentioned by a... cybernetic looking helper. That must have been the one to attack Furio. Not that Aurora much cared for trash like the nobleman, but still... Outright assault was rarely okay.
She would hold on for a while. Follow them, gather information and pick her time to stri- And that was when the ceiling broke and that damned NAMEKIAN FROM BEFORE BUSTED IN. Aurora couldn't help it this time, staring in shock at him from her position behind them all.
Power Level set to 5,000

Post by Amara on Aug 24, 2020 21:02:42 GMT -6
Thread PL: 180,000 | Items: Blood Ruby Pendant, Battle Armor, Scouter
Amara's annoyance this time wasn't leveled at Arcose's nipping negative temperatures this time, but rather at the man (Majin technically) she was hunting for. All this time left in the dark, and he's off taking a joyride in the reaches of the galaxy. Well... if Mumbo quit his job, she wanted to hear it from the man firsthand... and to deliver the news of Bloom's departure. Some sort of commotion was happening on the surface. A rogue ship, some Arcosian and his lackeys delivering a speech, and all other sorts of shit she didn't care about. The only goal here today was getting Mumbo and leaving. Even if Scallio himself rose from the dead and proclaimed his eternal familial love for her right that instant, Amara would not be swayed. Her single-seated ship tore through the frosty atmosphere, a chilling gust snaking along the outside of her pod, clawing for a way inside the bastion of warmth she sat in. Amara's mask was pulled up the bridge of her nose, a nondescript black cape wrapped around her neck and trailing down the back of her Katchin plated suit in an attempt to further mitigate the cold.
It wouldn't take much for anyone with sensing or a scouter to detect Amara's approach as she neared the Freeza Capital. Neither her energy nor the engines on her ship were subtle, and as she broke the horizon the Stargoon huffed. Mumbo's general location was right by the giant fiasco going on with the ship... just great. A couple of powerful people were grouped in the area, one of them being blazingly obvious to whom its' owner was. Two were somewhat familiar, one far older than the other, and with the slightest tinge of death lingering about it. The lid to her pod opened, the Saiyan taking flight and blasting across the open skies toward the source of the power. As soon as her target came into sight... everything else ceased to matter. Ticoga's speech, Aurora's very presence, and Mollusc's threat all went ignored as Amara bore down upon the Black Stargoon. "MUMBO GREGGY GREY!" The Saiyan said firmly, voice cracking towards the end of the short callout. "You... you... YOU FUCKING BUFFOON!" Amara attempted to deliver a sharp slap to the side of the Majin's face, lacking any real force behind it.
"Do you have ANY IDEA WHATSOEVER what the rest of us have been through!? You just decided to up and banish yourself to a different corner of the galaxy and we just have no way to even say hello! I may not have been on Namek but I heard, firsthand from Ashi, what happened. And let me just say... you're stupider than I thought." Holding her hand up to pause any potential response from her (technically) superior, she continued: "And no I don't mean your fuck up when it came to guarding Typha. I mean you just up and leaving the rest of us like you're craven. We work as a TEAM and get through shit together! I've been struggling to learn and apply that... looked to you for the example on how to rely on others and off you go, vanishing into the wind without a trace. I'm simultaneously so angry and happy to see you that I don't know if I want to HUG you or SLAP you again... I... I thought we lost you." She quieted near the end of her rant, a heavy sigh escaping her lips. "Look. If you don't wanna wear the badge anymore that's your decision, but you can't just turn tail and run away from your problems. It doesn't. Fucking. Work. Trust me, I've been doing that for thirty years and look how it turned out on Gemini."
Huffing, the Saiyan turned back out to the wider audience, eyes narrowing. "I vaguely recognize like, two of you shits. If you wanna fight be my guest - but lemme warn ya, I'm NOT in the mood for dealing with your shit right now."

Ticoga and Marma turn at the sound of Mumbo's voice.
"Ah, Mister Mumbo. Yes, you could say it is a big day." Ticoga tells the Majin. "I've chosen today to declare my emancipation from my people and their customs. I'm through with their ways - I am seizing my own fate now."
Marma tilts her head quizzically; Ticoga hadn't yet explained in detail just what about his culture he was rejecting, but she knew it must be incredibly important to him. But as they smiled, Ticoga's scouter bleats out in warning. Ticoga's eyes widen, and he checks the readings.
"It seems we've attracted company." Ticoga tells the other two. "Battle power... one hundred thirty two thousand. Well then... Hm..? And another..."
Ticoga looks in a different direction.
"Another incoming reading... this one... one hundred eighty thousand..." Ticoga says, narrowing his eyes. "What in the galaxy...?"
Before he can turn to ask Mumbo what the Majin thinks, someone appears. A Namekian, of all things? Ticoga had never actually met a Namekian before, but it seemed to generally fit the description. The Namekian immediately goes off on some rant at Mumbo, making Ticoga glance at the Majin with a raised brow.
"It seems trouble has followed you here." Ticoga says to the Majin before turning to the Namekian, and pressing a switch on his Scouter, one mean't for actively recording and live feeding audio. He deliberately chooses to transmit the in progress recording to Queen Kayen. He looks at Marma. "Miss Marma, please return to the ship, and ready it to be moved - I imagine we are going to have trouble, and I would prefer that you are not caught in the cross fire."
"But... what about you and Mister Mumbo?" Marma asks tentatively. Ticoga smiles at her.
"We will handle this. Now, please go." Ticoga tells her politely before turning to the Namekian. Hands clasped behind his back, Ticoga daringly levitates off the ground and flies up, placing himself roughly ten feet in front of the hostile arrival. "Excuse me, but you are quite mistaken - neither I, nor my comrade, are recruits for the Star Goons. Mister Mumbo is my guest, and I have been trading information with him. Your being here, unannounced, and threatening Mister Mumbo places you in a predicament."
Ticoga gesture politely at the Namekian.
"The Saiyan Kingdom holds authority on Arcose - and I, Ticoga, am representative of this." the Arcosian introduces himself, maintaining his polite speech pattern. "Whatever your quarrel with Mister Mumbo may be, I ask that you take your hostility elsewhere. Your power, and your evident anger, places innocent lives at risk. I must implore you to either leave, or take your quarrel to a less populated area. Destruction to this city will be considered an attack on the Saiyan Kingdom itself, and will be acted on accordingly."
Out of the corner of his eye, Ticoga spots an Arcosian watching them, but he doesn't recognize them. Ticoga was about to holler at the Arcosian to run and take cover, when that other massive power level's source suddenly appears on the scene - and as Marma takes the Direption away from what may be a battlefield, the first thing this new arrival does is try to slap the Majin across the face, and starts shouting at him!! Judging from the demeanor, Ticoga surmises that they are another of the Star Goons.
Ticoga pinches the bridge of his nose in exasperation.
"...What even is this situation..?" Ticoga mutters, before looking back at the Namekian. "I would say that you should cut your losses today, and peacefully leave. Whatever your quarrel with them, let it be handled somewhere else, where you don't make yourself an enemy of the majority of the galaxy's authority."
Alrighty, posting order! Ticoga -> Majin Mumbo -> Mollusc -> Aurora Arctos -> Amara

|Proclamation| - Bamboo's PL: 180,000
Bamboo had been on vacation.
Which, for those with a deciphering eye (or really, any eyes at all), didn't make any sense. Bamboo's idea of a vacation was less about 'basking in the sun's rays' and more about 'causing widespread chaos and destruction indiscriminately.' Under normal circumstances, she certainly wouldn't have accepted any sort of tropical vacation getaway; but the man in the suit gave her such a good deal- it was for a limited time, too. Could anyone really blame her for taking him up on his offer? She even brought Stephan along- the bear loved being in the sun.
As expected, Bamboo got exceptionally bored after a few days, but she'd have wasted all that money if she went and blew the place up. Besides, she sorta liked the fruity drinks they were serving, and she could get as many as she wanted. Made her feel pretty mature and refined, honestly. Kinda like Ashi or Amara. It wasn't too bad- not bad enough for Bamboo to do anything, anyways.
Really, the big problem arose when she was playing fetch with Stephan. The only thing she had on hand to throw was her scouter-phone, which she didn't hesitate in the slightest to re purpose as a chew toy for her beloved bear. It was only a few hours later that she realized she now had absolutely no way to contact anyone, and she was stuck on this planet.
Her vacation certainly couldn't continue like this. It wasn't the first time she'd broken her phone (not by a long shot) but it was the first time she'd done it in a place without the other Goons to set her up with a new one. Great.
So, she stuffed Stephan into her pod and the duo took off. Through some miracle, it turned out that Arcose wasn't too far from where she was staying- she knew that planet! People stuck around there, usually. Maybe she could find someone she knew? There had to be someone out there who could hook her up with a new phone. She was probably missing important information! Rats!
She parked her ship on the planet instead of crashing it. Stephan was in the pod, after all- she didn't want him to get injured, after all. She left the heat on and took off through the skies, sniffing frantically for even a hint of someone she knew.
Which is how she ended up on the tense scene, on the freezing planet in tropical wear. A crop top, shorts and some sort of robe, with her giant wad of hair tied up into a ponytail. She tracked down Amara- her scent was the strongest of the ones she recognized, and thus, she ignored pretty much any other smell.
"Yo, Amara!" She approached the girl, shooting her a wave. "Oh, hey Mumbo!"
Just give her a second.
"Crazy story, so, like, I got stuck on a tropical planet, and-" She took out her smashed scouter-phone. "The thing broke again, I didn't- Then it hit her. "Vacation, Stephan, cold in drink eat-" She continued to be unintelligible for a few more seconds.
"Mumbo!?"
She leapt forward with reckless abandon, throwing her arms around the guy in stark opposition to her fellow goon. "Oh man, where'd you go!? I missed you so much! Listen, you won't believe the stuff I can do now-" Bamboo snapped a piece of her Bamboo pole off. She stuck the cylindrical thing in her mouth, emulating Mumbo's cigar. She then proceeded to ignite the piece of wood with a shred of demonic fire before filling her lungs with demonic smoke. She coughed for a few moments, discarding the piece of bamboo off to the side. Clearly, smoking was a bit more difficult then she anticipated- but she wanted to impress her boss. It's the thought that counts, right?
It was only after that entire display that she realized there were several other people in the vicinity, She motioned over her shoulder to the general crowd, her eyebrows furrowing. "Who're these losers?" She didn't recognize any of them- wait, no! That ghost guy blew himself up once, she remembered that. Good times!

He felt them long before they arrived, and a pit opened itself up in his stomach. Deep and inescapable terror wormed its way through his system. Mumbo hadn't been afraid of Saizomaru, the powerhouse who nearly erased him from existence. He hadn't been afraid of Carro and his massive robot, which almost squashed him flat in Kami's tower, and he almost certainly hadn't been afraid of Cress, who betrayed his trust on Namek. Now though? He was terrified of his own teammates, who'd tracked him to Arcose.
Mumbo took a step back, almost making it seem like Mollusc's arrival was the thing that gave him pause. In actuality, he hadn't even noticed the Namekian arrive-- he was too busy crapping his pants at the power of both Amara and Bamboo closing in. They had grown, too. Real strong!
"No... Not yet... Not today..."
He turned to book it, but he heard his name called out before he even took a step. He kept his head turned away, but evidently he didn't get the luxury of keeping his eyes away from Amara, as she decided the best course of action was to slap him square in the face. The Majin turned to her involuntarily, and kept his expression as stone-faced as he could manage.
Her words cut him like the strongest blade known to man. Each desperate, furious insult caused his lip to quiver. She said everything he was worried she'd say, and yet at the same time he could feel weight being lifted. She didn't want to kick his ass; in fact, quite the opposite. She was worried about him? Not mad that he screwed up, but mad that he gave up? It seemed strange, but he couldn't help but to smile.
Before he could get a word in, Bamboo finally arrived. She seemed distracted at first, but suddenly she remembered Mumbo had vanished, and leaped toward him for a hug. She was happy to see him again, and Mumbo reciprocated the hug, fighting back tears with everything he had.
"Man! You's two is tuff now! I dunno how much help I'd even be in a fight with you's two around ta take all da glory!" He laughed, but it was hard to actually keep up the facade for any longer.
His smile cracked, turning into a frown as massive tears streamed down his face. When Amara turned to face the others, he blindsided her with a mighty hug. He'd squeeze tight, and rope one of his horns around Bamboo to bring her into the embrace as well.
"BWAHHHHHHH! I'M SO SAHRRY GUYS!" Each tear that erupted from his ducts was heavy and pink. They hit the ground hard, cracking the stone as they poured from him. Between sniffles, he pleaded his case. "IT'S JUST -SNIFF- DAT I MESSED UP SO BAD -SNIFFF- AND I LET YOU'S GUYS DOWN -SNIFFFFFFF- AND I FIGYA'D YOU'S GUY WOULD -SNIFFFFFFFFF- HA-A-AAA-TE MEEEEEEEE!"
He blubbered a bunch more, but realized Ticoga began recording a long while ago, and broke off the hug as fast as he could. He sniffed in hard, and retraced a massive string of mucus that'd been drooling from his nostril since he started crying.
"Okay. I'm good, all good."
Turning to the Namekian across from them, he raised a brow-ridge. Hadn't they met before?
"Alright guys, how 'bout dis? Let's kick dis guys ass, and den we'll go home and talk to da crew and I'll apologize to all of 'em in person. Sound cool?"

Mollusc sighed as he felt more power levels heading to the area. Friend or foe? He could not be sure since he was not focused on each signature to identify who they were. The first he couldn’t see yet but it must be Aurora. Then some armored lady came. That must be Amara since the armor was yellow. She was one of his targets as well. Though he had a bit of an issue. He was pretty sure he could not kill Mumbo and her together. He was confident if he fought one of them alone, he could possibly figure out a way eventually, after all he was a ghost. He could just keep coming back. One day they will be worn down and he could finish them for good. But two people, they could just switch between one another. He would not get too far with that.
She began to talk about Namek and some guy named Typha before moving on to ripping into Mumbo. Was this Typha guy one of the fellow stargoons? He really had no idea but for now, he put him on the list till he learned more. Just in case. He could have just been a recruit though since it was guarding. As she finished he started to clap. “Great speech really.” The sarcasm in his voice was clear to hear. “But it does not change that. I don’t think I’d get far running away. Plus if I die once I can die again. It's going to be hard for you to put me down for good.” Mollusc was confident in that regard. He glanced at Ticoga as he began to try to speak how this was under the authority of the Saiyan Kingdom and he was the representative of that. “Ah, I see. So if I blasted a beam of ki though your heart and ended your life Kayen would take notice.” Mollusc grinned. “Good, she won’t forget who I am. I plan to destroy her entire world. She will pay for what she has done to the kingdom. So be a good aroscian and standstill.” Mollusc raised two fingers as ki surrounded it ready to fire.
Yet, before he could fire another person arrived. A Green haired woman. He had seen her before but now that he was not super enraged he gave her a more observant glance. She somehow seemed familiar. Something about the green hair. And being on Arosce. It was jarring some memories he liked to forget. When Ramen and he officially were no longer friends but enemies. Mollusc frowned, glancing at her. No, they couldn’t be related. Synthesia was far different even if he barely knew him. Plus he was dead. He had been planted somewhere safe. He ignored everyone else's words as he thought about this. What should he do now? It’d probably not be best to kill someone who died so heroically. Yet, now this thing...was an abomination. Of course, then he realized that Synthesia maybe had been a bit too eager to blast Kalabas before he died. Didn’t change the fact he was doing the right thing. If he remembered correctly Kalabas had been the one to set up off the fireworks.
The blubbering of Mumbo snapped him out of his thoughts. Was the Majin crying? Why was he crying? He didn’t get to cry. He was scum who destroyed his homeworld. He had somehow converted Ramen to the side of evil. Mollusc aura burst around him clearly enraged by all this. “How dare you. Not only do you all ignore me, but you all also have the arrogance to cry. You have no right to feel sad or pity. You lot destroyed my homeworld, converted someone I cared for into your mass. You got a lot of guts to try to then play your sad card. Your all monsters. Monsters aren't allowed to cry.” Mollusc pulled his right arm back as if he was about to fire a powerful blast of ki before he paused. “But before I got about deciding which one of you I’m going to focus only my efforts on.” He pointed at Bamboo. “Does the name Synthesia ring any bells.” It was an odd request but he had to get an answer. Once he knew he’d have a much happier conscious in either letting her go or blasting her into pieces.

“Hey Kayen… I’m getting something… strange” Barb said as she stepped into Kayens quarters where her Queen/Captain was currently relaxing a particularly rare sight for Barb and frankly a tempting reason for her to NOT interrupt Kayen, usually she spent her every waking moment doing SOMETHING Barb worried the woman would burn herself out but at least so far Kayen seemed unwavering. “Hm?” “A few moments ago while I was doing work Ticoga messaged in with a live feed from his scouter, it took me a bit of time to get things set up but it seems he’s involved in some sort of altercation on Arcose in the Capital. From what I can tell Ticoga was doing something with the aid of Majin Mumbo, the Black Stargoon” Kayen nodded a bit confused, she didn’t know Mumbo but had only heard more-or-less ‘good’ things Well at least HER general definition of good. The fact he was a Stargoon was another plus, all the ‘Goons she had met so far were enjoyable people to be around. The only sore point was that Ramen joining them had gone rather poorly. Kayen frowned at the thought but brushed it aside for now. “But the problem is they are being accosted by a.. Familiar face. Mollusc, or at least his ghost. Signs point to things being in Ticoga and Mumbo’s favor as the Yellow and Green Stargoons have also arrived, though there appears to be some level of friction between Amara and Mumbo” Kayen listened for a few moments as Barb spoke then grabbed her scouter and put it on patching herself into the feed. “Oi Ticoga, the ghost’s an Ex-Kingdom member, moron tried to take the throne from me a while back and I killed him. Keep careful, hes not someone you’re ready to tangle with yet, soon but not yet. If you’re working with the Goons lettem know I say Hi and they are free to kill Mollusc if they want, and if you end up in danger and they aren’t planning to interfere, lettem know I’ll pay for them to take Mollusc down”

Power suppressed to 5000. Aurora watched what was happening with no small amount of alarm and curiosity, from where the Arcosian was just barely managing not to facepalm at Mollusc’s actions. Again with this whole... attacking out of nowhere stuff. She knew that the angry revenant was insane, but he also had proven not to be stupid, so what was he DOING? She could barely keep her disguise up, the arcosian was that focused upon what was happening from where she was pretending to be hiding behind a pillar. The situation was already somewhat dangerous, but now it was beginning to rapidly spiral out of control as Amara and Bamboo entered the scene, crashing down through the ceiling and... apparently starting a fight with Mumbo. No soubt some sort of inner party conflict, and from what Aurora heard it matches what she had debated at another time. The grey Majinn hadn’t been seen with them for a small while, and evidently that hadn’t simply been a bias of information. That... was a very useful tidbit of information for the future, and right now was still useful as the Arcosian slipped from behind the pillar, ensuring her power was suppressed and her disguise in place as she put on a scene of nervously tiptoeing around the arguing Stargoons.
Moving to the side of the ramp they were fighting on, noticed and ignored only by a few of the retinue of the fallen lord, she makes her way over to the side that the Arcosian representative of the Kingdom stood, just in time to hear a... communication. From Her, it sounded like. The voice was enough to have Aurora’s tail swish uncomfortably, restraining innate anger at the sound and sight of one of her people following the Saiyan queen, but... that was for later. She could- She could come to terms with it in a bit. Right now she- A memory flashes through her mind, of a battle above an ocean planet, and the face of a friend she wasn’t sure she would ever see again. Friege... He had left more of a mark than Aurora realised, as despite this ‘Ticoga’’s apparent loyalty to the Kingdom, she positioned herself on the ground to intercede any potential attack that might be launched by a certain Namekian revenant. “S-sir?” She whispers up to him, voice made to falter and sound weak, as she was well aware of Amara having encountered her before during the battle with her son.
”D-do... Do you w-want me to call the guards?” No doubt the answer would be no, as she doubted he would risk the lives of people that could do as much to the combatants here as an ant could do to a tidal wave. “My- my scouter says they’re really s-strong. I-i can take you to a sa-safer place? W-well. Outside. I-i-i can lead you outside.” She doubted he would agree, but if he did... perhaps she could get some answers from her cousin here. Emancipation from people and culture? Was he simply another traitor to their kind, or did he also see the big picture? There were questions she needed to ask, and it wasn’t going to be here in the middle of a keg about to explode. She really, REALLY just hoped it wasn’t her presence that did it, as she knew Mollusc could sense her energy despite her suppression somehow, as well as Amara’s general presence (thank Kami she was currently distracted in chewing out her comrade). Bamboo was a wildcard, from what little Aurora knew of her, buuuut she doubted that she would be attack anyone other than Mollusc. ...Or maybe Mumbo.
Either way, it was time to run preemptive damage control.

"Furthermore-" Amara's rant was cut short by the shout of a certain green girl appearing on scene, the Saiyan swiveling in disbelief. "Bamboo? What are you doing here of all places?" Aside from their trip to Lux to secure Amara's new gear, the Green Star had been away from the group for some time now. There was something vague said about a vacation, but Bamboo didn't really tell them when she was coming back. "You know what? Forget it. We can talk about that later..." She turned back to Mumbo in time for the Majin to get tackled by the rambunctious girl. She seemed to be taking Mumbo's disappearance much more in stride than Amara had, causing the Saiyan to sigh. "He was just on an... extended vacation of sorts. One that he plans on coming back from very soon, right?" She stared down her much larger and bulkier boss.
She blinked at his warm reception, squinting a bit at the Majin. "...Aye, well, don't say things like that boss. You're still the tankiest guy I know." Amara paused, pushing back news of Bloom's departure. That solemn topic could way for a point when he and Bamboo weren't on a high from this reunion. She took this opportunity to spout the words from before towards the crowd, oblivious towards Mumbo's approach until far too late. "Gha-!" Caught up in the bear hug, she squirmed without too much actual effort put into it. "Alright! Glad to see you too... Now let me down!" Hug broken, Amara coughed into her fist to hide a momentary blush, straightening back up as some sort of angry ghost started to berate them. "I'm sorry are we supposed to be paying attention to you?" The Saiyan cut in, eyes half-closed as she paid the spectral Namekian no mind.
"Aren't allowed? Apologies, guess I missed that clause in the monster handbook. That the only thing you can call us, Little Green? 'Monster' this, 'monster' that... guess it helps though - to think of us as little more than incarnations of evil whom only the just can hope to defeat." A smirk spread across her face: "Yeah some of us blew up Namek: so what? Don't pretend like the afterlife is anything close to brutal or unpleasant. I've been there myself... and that was just in Hell. For gods sake you don't even get fucking punished for being an evil jackass - OR rewarded for being a modestly upstanding person. The entire system is 'you are either a saint who goes to heaven, or anyone else who goes to Hell'. If the cosmic forces that be decide that a person who does nothing wrong should be confined to the same afterlife as a terrible Villain... well why wouldn't I want to play the part of one?"
His power soared, though to levels below anything Amara could possibly be worried about. "You're the type of person who believes the end of your goal will justify the means. You trample, attack, harm just like we do - except it is us you call monsters. You're... pathetic, honestly." That was the only word she had for him. The only thing that could really describe this vengeful spirit correctly. "And in the end we're both going to Hell, no matter how much good you do along the way." Something seemed familiar about him still, but it was so incredibly unimportant to the Saiyan that she didn't bother trying to remember who he was whatsoever. "Whatever," She said neutrally, shrugging. "If you wanna fight us be our guest. I'm only here to take this big lug back with me." Some Arcosian approached the other lizard closer to them, attemptinggto extract him from the situation entirely. Odd. Why would they care, or even try and protect the same rebel that was the one almost starting serious trouble? They had a strange aura about them as well, distantly familiar and not in a pleasant way. Amara's eyes narrowed at the figure, tempted to stop them in place to confirm these feelings bubbling in.

Ticoga's expression hardens as the Namekian brashly prepares their Ki to attack him - evidently this Namekian was the kind of being that only heard their own voice. Ticoga flies backwards and down, landing fairly close to the Stargoons as they speak amongst themselves. Ticoga listens to them, but never takes his eyes off the Namekian. When the Namekian's aura flares, Ticoga's scouter pings - identifying the warrior's battle power as just under one million.
The number makes Ticoga sneer.
"Not even one million... Your dream of killing Her Highness is a daft, far off one." Ticoga chuckles. While the Namekian was a threat to him personally, he was no threat to Kayen - or to the Stargoons if their behavior towards the Namekian was any indication. Just then, Kayen's voice booms into Ticoga's ear. Smiling that his efforts were successful, Ticoga turns to the Stargoons. "I thank you, your Highness. I shall relay your message at once."
"...Mister Mumbo, Her Highness Queen Kayen sends her regards, and states that the Namekian, Mollusc, is fair game for you to pick apart at your leisure with no condemnation from the Kingdom." Ticoga informs the Majin, turning off his live transmission on his scouter. "She further states that, should I somehow be in danger, she will pay you and your comrades a sum to destroy Mollusc before he can do anything permanent. And once I have made my freedom clear to my people, I will make a feast for you and your comrades as my personal thanks."
Ticoga turns to look at Mollusc, grinning that the Namekian's quest for revenge was a sad reflection of the World Trade Fleet's own pathetic revenge plot against the Saiyan Kingdom. The cycle never really ended, did it? To his surprise, a meek voice reaches Ticoga from his side, and he turns to find a rather young Arcosian next to him. He tilts his head at the young one's inqueries.
"No, guards will only get in the way. The Star Goons are guests; the Namekian is condemned." Ticoga replies politely. He smiles wryly. "One moment - Mister Mumbo? I take my leave of you for the moment, as I have my own business to attend to. I leave this Namekian and their revenge in your capable hands."
Ticoga turns back to the young Arcosian.
"Let's get you out of here; there is no reason for you to come into harm on my account." Ticoga tells the meek Arcosian, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Come, you may lead me out - preferably I would like to be brought to the ruling body of Arcose." Bamboo

|Proclamation| - Bamboo's PL: 180,000
Oh. It seemed like Bamboo had stumbled upon a real, genuine, high-tension situation.
She was really glad to see Mumbo again- and she showed it by reciprocating the group hug in full. However, the reunion and... whatever this situation was were too entirely different stories.
Frankly, it was kinda awkward, now. She just came here to get her phone checked out, not to fight some war for some baddie. That wasn't to say Bamboo was opposed to fighting some war for some baddie, but every villain had to have standards, y'know? Bamboo may have lived to fight, but there was more to living then fighting. Like friends and overpriced vacation bundles.
Bamboo waited politely for everyone to finish their big speeches. She didn't really listen to any of them, since she wasn't really a member of her team dedicated to that kinda stuff. Amara and Ashi were always really big on 'demolishing the goodie ideology,' or something. Bamboo didn't really care what the goodies thought as long as it wouldn't interfere in a fight to the death with them, so she didn't really get involved. She thought the whole concept was dumb, anyways. You try telling some wild animal your ideological standpoint and you'll get nowhere fast.
"Yeah, beating on these guys sounds great and all, but..." She looked down at her phone, attempting to check the specifics only to realize that it was still thoroughly broken. She then motioned down to her outfit- a decidedly tropical one, in the middle of an arctic planet."I still got, like, three days left on this resort. I paid a lot for it, so I don't really want it to go to waste. Besides, it's kinda cold out here." She pointed backwards, into the snowy distance. "I'm fine with it, but I got Stephan in the pod, and sometimes when it's cold he gets cranky. A reunion battle sounds great n' all, but we should probably make it quick. Stephan gets really sad when he's cranky." It was true- though, for most people, her pet bear was always cranky. To everyone except her, that is.
She whipped out her bamboo pole (which she took with her to the beach, obviously) and pointed it haphazardly at the Namekian ghost who had addressed her. "Yeah, I guess the name sounds familiar. I've been called it a bunch of times. I'm on, like, a tight schedule though, so could you, like... save this for later? I'm just gonna beat you down and be done with work for today. I'm still on vacation, after all." She nodded. "I'll even let you run away, if you want. I think a ghost running away would be pretty funny, since you're already dead n' all. That'd speed things up, I think." She yawned, clearly not having her heart in her threats. "Or don't. Doesn't really matter to me."

Man, this day definitely turned out... Weird. He felt kinda bad for having an emotional moment right in the middle of Ticoga's big thing, but now this ghost guy was trying to seem all cool and powerful. He was ranting and raving, as some heroes liked to do, but most of it was ignored by Mumbo. He was more invested in what his team had to say. He hadn't seen them in so long, after all! Turning to Ticoga, he nodded sagely at the new information. Kick this guys ass? No problems from the big bad if Mumbo did so? Sounded good. Bamboo wanted to get this over with fast, and it seemed Amara wasn't in the mood to play either. No reason to keep his gang in waiting, right? If his opponent was gonna go full throttle, no reason not to fire back with the same energy! The mighty Majin rolled his neck, ripping the collar of his shirt with the simple motion. He flexed hard, and the rest of his shirt exploded with it. Okay, admittedly that was intentional to seem cool, but he wouldn't let anyone know that, okay? He gave Mollusc a big grin, and brought one hand up to his own face. From behind him, the sound of something clicking occurred, and a musical tune began to blare out. It was the Stargoons theme song, though only the instrumental. "It's time... Ta snuff yer lights out."Massive spotlights suddenly appeared behind Mumbo, shadowing him in the perfect way. "Stargoon Black..."The lights twirled and twinkled, revealing the hint of starlight glitter on his pants. Mumbo's hand moved past his face, moving his elbow close to his nose. "Will Break... YOUR BACK!!!" Mumbo dabbed. A massive explosion of Ki erupted from his body. Waves of light burst in frantic patterns, giving way to Mumbo's glorious transformation. He lifted into the air, and was suddenly found donning his classic battle regalia. It was a simple version of his usual flair, but the big guns needn't come out today. Just basic power posing was all that was needed to take a bozo like this down. When the dust settled, and the music that'd begun playing from seemingly nowhere stopped, Mumbo floated above the group, now ready for combat. "Yellow, Green, its time ta activate our secret weapon. Goon Boon: TEAMWORK!"He turned to Amara, and waited for her to start the chain of attacks. He'd let her take the lead, being the one with the most frustration to sort out and all.
Mumbo activates: Ultimate Pose (x10/x13P)! Current PL: 1,300,000/1,690,000!! Orders Amara to activate her SSJ and, if she wishes, to use a Merging attack which he will boost on his next turn!
