The Direption appears from the depths of space, heading once more into Beppa's gravity well. The vessel moves quickly, homing in on the signal used to identify Kayen's personal starship. The massive, circular vessel rockets through Beppa's atmosphere, casting a massive shadow as it flies towards its destination. Soon, the Direption arrives in the vicinity of the Stormbreaker, and quickly halts its momentum. Hovering over a flat space of land, a dozen claw-like landing legs unfold from the belly of the ship, and the vessel settles down.
"Alright then..." Marma says, looking over at Ticoga. "Another happy landing. Should I accompany you?"
"Unfortunately, that won't be necessary." Ticoga replies, though offering a smile. "Her Highness won't be terribly interested in meeting you yet - at least, not until you've started gaining power."
Ticoga walks up to Marma, who stands from her seat.
"In the meantime, I am sure you would like some rest." Ticoga offers.
"Actually, I was thinking about making an upgrade to the ship, if I could get some money for a supply and material run." Marma replies, smiling back. "I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll take the time that you're away from the ship to get it done."
"Oh? I'm curious, but I will respect your wishes to make it a surprise." Ticoga chuckles. He reaches into his satchel and produces three cylindrical rods. "Will this cover your needs?"
"And then some, wow!" Marma exclaims, blinking at the currency. She takes the rods and stuffs them into her own bag. The pair walk to the boarding ramp, parting ways once they both take flight. "I'll be back soon!"
"If you get into any trouble, contact me immediately." Ticoga tells the Android, who waves as she flies away to show she understood. And with that done, Ticoga flies over to the Stormbreaker, and lands a short distance from where the ship is settled, looking around to see if he could locate a crew member, or Barb is she were outside the ship. Remembering he could simply use his scouter, Ticoga toggles the communications until he finds the one he needs. "Please forgive the disturbance - this is Ticoga. If possible, I would like to speak with Her Highness, Queen Kayen, if she is available."
As he waits for a reply, Ticoga reaches into his satchel, and takes out a small, thin book. The thing is old, its cover tattered, and pages clearly yellowed and brittle. But the book could still be read, and the Arcosian felt that it was time to talk with Kayen about its contents...

Barb was in the middle of some basic repairwork on the ship when Ticoga’s message came through, she rolled herself back from her work area and tapped her scouter after pulling off her now quite messy work gloves “Hey Ticoga, give me just a moment to get Kayen, if I remember right shes not busy today so meeting up with you should be fine” Barb said already switching to her data pad and pinging Kayen’s scouter location. She put Ticoga on hold for a moment while calling up Kayen “Kayen, Ticoga is looking for you, scans show he’s a bit outside the ship. Want me to tell him you’re busy oooor?” Barb asked letting the question hang as she called in to Kayen who was presently in the middle of a workout, Kayen finished up and then tapped her scouter. “Nah, let him know I’ll be out in a sec” She rolled her shoulders and grabbed a towel and her gear and began making her way out of the gym and through the shim, meanwhile Barb switched back to Ticoga “She’s on her way to you!” It wouldn't take particularly long for Kayen to navigate to an exit and soon she was stepping down the entry ramp and heading in Ticoga’s direction “Yo” came the Queens entirely informal greeting as she gave a wave with one hand while readjusting Fateburn to sit properly on her back “Barb said you’re looking for me, something up?”

Ticoga waited patiently for the reply from Queen Kayen's attendant, and politely thanks her for relaying his request. What the Arcosian found odd, is that the Queen not only had time to meet with him on short notice, but was actually coming to speak with him outside the ship, rather than send a grunt to collect Ticoga and bring him to a place to meet.
The Saiyan Queen's actions differed so greatly from both Arcose and the World Trade Fleet's leaders that Ticoga was fairly speechless on the matter. Even more so when the Queen actually appears, and by way of greeting him as if they'd been informal for some time.
"I... may never get used to this..." Ticoga mumbles as the Queen approaches. He humbly bows his head, but straightens quickly, as to not rouse the Queen's ire for Ticoga's typical formalities. "Your Hi- ...Kayen, I am honored that you were able to make time for my request on such short notice - I promise that it will not be a waste of your time."
Getting to the point immediately, Ticoga holds up the tattered, ancient journal and approaches Kayen.
"Back when you found me some weeks ago, you mentioned to me that you were a descendant of a commoner who became a Queen - a descendant of Habana." Ticoga says evenly, hoping he was being clear as he builds up to one of the topics he wanted to discuss. "I believe that the universe has an odd sense of humor. As I stated before, I am descended from an Arcosian called Taiga. Two centuries ago, when the Arcosian Empire was crumbling, a faction of Arcosians and their followers split away from the Empire, and formed the beginnings of the World Trade Fleet, as you likely know."
Ticoga uses his body language to urge Kayen to take and carefully read the journal's contents. The pages are somewhat brittle, and yellowed with age, but the words are still legible, and written in the common language.
"As you will read, my ancestor was subservient to the Mazoku Namekians of the age, but before he turned away to help create the World Trade Fleet, he approached Queen Habana." Ticoga explains. "My ancestor does not go into particular detail, but the way he speaks of Habana leads me to believe that he and Habana came to some kind of agreement."
Ticoga waits a moment before continuing.
"I believe, judging from the information in that journal, that my ancestor intended for the World Trade Fleet to work WITH the Saiyan Solar Empire of the age." Ticoga declares. "Perhaps not work FOR them, but certainly with them. But this journal does not explain why it is that the Fleet, when strong enough, chose to attack Planet Vegeta. ...But infighting and murder among the leadership was common - I believe that my ancestor was discovered working with Saiyan agents, and was killed for it."
Ticoga clasps his hands behind his back, looking intently at Kayen.
"Our ancestors had a plan, a plan my people chose to destroy for the sake of revenge." Ticoga finishes, waiting for Kayen's response with anticipation.

Kayen smirked as she saw Ticoga’s reaction to her informal greeting, she was hopeful that with a bit of work he’d more naturally lighten up a bit and at least to an extent he seemed to at least be getting less rigid in how he spoke with her even if it was seemingly him forcing himself to do so. “Always got time for my crew” Kayen said with a shrug, sure Taiga wasn’t a strict member of the Stormbreaker’s crew itself but it was an easy way to show that she was willing to extend the loyalty she showed that crew out to him and perhaps others. Then Ticoga launched into a rather lengthy explanation of why he was here, Kayen wondered if the whole ‘able to survive in space’ thing played into how much Arcosians could talk, at least though he wasn’t a rambling madman like Kraktus, the squidfaced alien seemed to just NEVER stop talking and only about a tenth of anything he said made any real sense. When prompted Kayen would take the journal and give the parts that Ticoga wanted her to see in particular a look, it certainly seemed to back up everything that Ticoga said and even reminded Kayen of some references to some of what was in it from Habana’s recordings and digital journals, Kayen remembered that Kayen HAD met with the Fleets predecessor, though Habana had put down little on how that had actually shaken out. “Yeah, Habana’s stuff had some basic frameworks for plans to smooth things over between the Saiyans and the Fleet, I had mostly just assumed that whatever talks she mentioned had fallen through, it seems however from your ancestors side of things its more likely what you’re saying is accurate. There WAS a plan and it was thrown out. I can only imagine once Habana stepped away from the Empire the Saiyans were also more than glad to abandon any of the things she had planned for that.” Kayen let out a sigh and rolled her eye, the two species were suicidally determined to be at one anothers throats it seemed. “Part of my effort to take Arcose was based on Habana’s ideas, granted hers were based on a mutual agreement but I’m a bit less… nice than her.” Kayen said with a chuckle, Habana by all of what she knew had a far more ‘good’ heart than herself, she was a fighter and a warrior to her core and WILLING to take planets. But it was not her driving goal. “Perhaps with a bit of work we can finally end the idiotic suicidal blood feude between the Saiyans and Arcosians now.”

Ticoga smiles as Kayen speaks - and is pleased by his decision to reveal this theory to the Queen. In addition to her more than fair treatment towards him, Kayen revealed incredibly important information.
"Then our ancestors' accounts corroborate my theory." Ticoga replies, a hint of pride in his voice. "In that case, I feel no concern in voicing this opinion of mine to you - the World Trade Fleet deserved to fall, and Arcose deserved to be subjugated, though your mercy to its peoples was unprecedented."
Ticoga retrieves the old journal from the Queen, and sets it back in his satchel. It would need to be preserved properly, and its contents more thoroughly examined at a later time. He listens to Kayen's words, and tilts his head slightly.
"I see, so you came to the same conclusion regarding our mutual peoples' innate desire to destroy the other." he replies, crossing his arms over his chest. "As much as I dislike the notion, I believe we both understand that our peoples will continue to wage war with one another in an endless cycle of revenge. Without a unified leadership, one that cannot be toppled, I fear that Arcosians will never stop seeking to wipe out the Saiyans."
Ticoga's gaze drops to the ground for a moment, as he seems to think something over.
"...In that regard, your Highness, recent events have... opened my eyes, so to speak." Ticoga finally says. "When you found me, you told me that my strength was exceptional. But I have encountered a number of warriors that so greatly outstrip my power that it makes the statement laughable."
Ticoga lets his arms fall to his sides, and his scarlet eyes lock onto Kayen's own eyes.
"I am weak, even in my true form. That Namekian could have destroyed me easily on Arcose, but my life was saved - something that never would have been necessary if I had the power to protect myself... And the Star Goons are incredibly strong as well." Ticoga continues, his voice gaining vigor. "I believe... I... want to believe that I am destined for more than to be someone else's weapon. To that end, I have been working to empower myself further, but with limited results."
Ticoga lowers himself to one knee, looking imploringly at Kayen.
"I have no right to make this request, but I must. Please forgive my less than courteous words." the Arcosian presses. "Kayen... please consider taking me on as a pupil. I am inexperienced, but I am loyal, and capable. Our ancestors understood that the centuries old feud between our people was stupidity at its height - and that conclusion has been continued through us. I ask for your assistance, to train me, grow my power so that I may quash the Arcosian desire to destroy the Saiyans once and for all. I ask for the power to surpass the Super Saiyans whom you call your enemies - for the power to usher in a new era at your side." Queen Kayen

“Your power IS exceptional. Make no mistake about that. Your issue is however that while you are exceptional compared to the average person there are an ever increasing number of exceptionally powered fighters in the universe. There are some, such as those you’ve met, that WILL far outstrip you in power” Kayen explained wanting it to be clear that even though Ticoga’s encounters so far had not gone well for him in terms of feeling he was up to snuff in terms of power he still WAS an outlier in terms of power. “But if you want to become stronger, want to reach a level where you’re strong no matter WHO you compare yourself to. I am willing to help, I train with anyone who is interested and do my best to help both myself and them improve. But I far less commonly take someone on as an actual ‘pupil’. If you’re willing to try though I’m willing to teach, It won’t be EASY by any means but I can guarantee that as long as you are willing to learn and to grow I’ll make you powerful”

Ticoga felt pride swell in his chest as the Saiyan Queen spoke. She seemed to have such faith that he held power that he simply didn't understand yet. For this reason, the crimson Arcosian remains quiet as the Queen speaks, taking the time to talk only when Kayen had finished talking herself. Once she finishes, Ticoga straightens his posture and bows his head.
"I would never expect to be given anything easy, nor will I turn away from difficulty." Ticoga announces proudly. He raises his head, the glint of determination in his crimson gaze. "I am ready and willing to learn whatever you believe should be used to test me."
Ticoga's hands ball into fists, and his eyes narrow slightly. If Kayen indeed agreed to train him, he would show no hesitation in his willingness to learn. For the first time in his life, he felt necessary. Queen Kayen
