Kraktus nodded as Derry noted that most of the jobs that he ran into he could handle himself. If it ever became a case that he needed him, he'd give him a call. That was all he needed, he didn't want to help Derry he didn't want to be seen as someone just using Derry. Of course, he was just using Derry to try to damage Carro and damage Earth by extension. Kraktus raised his head as Derry noted that it might take him a bit to learn how to sense ki, but perhaps he would eventually learn how to do it. "Whatever you decide to do, as long as we are working together, it matters now." Kraktus slowly began to float off the ground. "Of course, you and I both have things to do. Now that we can both contact one another and discuss everything we need to do talk about, I will be taking my leave. Unless there something else we need to discuss?" Nothing came to mind for Kraktus, but just in case Derry had something to say, he'd stay put and let him finish before he flew off to find more allies or think of another evil scheme.

It seems as if Kraktus was content with their conversation and begins to hover off of the ground. He states to Derry that he'll be taking off unless there was some other matter that they should discuss, to which the gangster replies, "Nah, pretty sure that covers any and all bases. 'Course, don't forget this is a two-way thing. If ya need something else from me, you can give me a call as well." As he says this to the general, Derry tears the piece of paper that had the scouter frequency number in half and proceeds to use a pen to write his own phone number onto the now torn sheet. He hands it to Kraktus and replies, "Now I think we're done here. Pleasure doing business with ya," While focusing his attention back to the burnt remains in front of him. He begins to slowly tune out of the world as nostalgia slowly reels him back in, reminding him of the good times he had back then, as well as the bad. His face slowly turns stone cold as he continues looking onwards.

Kraktus nodded as they were indeed done. Derrick noted for him to not forget this was a two-day street. If he needed something from him he could always ask. "Right." Kraktus nodded but inside he was fuming. Did this human think he'd ever need something from him? He only was going to use him. But Kraktus decided to keep it under wraps. He didn't want to explode in rage and make this human he had some advantage over him. Kraktus would deal with this feeling later. Kraktus turned as Derrick seemed to go relax and Kraktus just flew off to fume somewhere else. At least he had made another ally that he could use to achieve his ends.

Kraktus was somewhat alright with the whole two-way thing, but something clearly agitated him. Perhaps it was something Derry said, but he didn't exactly pay much attention anyway. As the general took off and flew away, Derry once again focused his attention back on the burnt remains that were laid out in front of him. After a brief moment of silence, he gets up from his bench and mutters to himself, "Sam's Prime Meats, eh? Probably spent more than enough time over here. I've got a job to do." The gangster leaves the burnt down orphanage as the sun begins to set, leaving behind the wreckage and the memories of the past as he moves on to the present.
