|Return From Paradise|
Dosu's PL: 120'000 (energy setting)
The scattered remains, now mere dust thrown into the wind, began coalescing into a single point. A core of some sort. Through unknown means, this core became the foundation for a body to build itself around, stronger and mightier than ever. A form untouched by the ravages of time. He came to with a shock, a gasp for air, the necessity lost to him after several months of living in death. This body, it felt heavy, it felt alive. His mind fuzzy, his vision blurry, the man got himself up to his feet, stumbling a little along the way. The scene felt familiar and was nowhere like Hell. As memories flooded his brain, he began remembering. From those glimpses, he felt it anew, the moment life faded from him, the moment he died. Cold sweat ran through his spine and he began to sweat, but the grin on his face told a different story. A mixture of amazement and excitement that completely buried the confusion. For the first time now, he remembered what it felt like to die. In the same moment, he was feeling alive again. And the juxtaposition of the two made him feel something he could not put words on. Those two opposite states of existence felt so distant, yet very similar. And…as it came, the grin disappeared. What was the point of it, really? Death had lost its charm long ago and this sudden rush of dopamine dissolved itself in a matter of seconds. It didn’t matter, just as his life didn’t matter. So, what was he going to do now? Devoid of reason, devoid of purpose, the answer was pretty clear. He’d do whatever the fuck he wanted.
A quick look around confronted him with the sight of a city, now rebuilt. The ground he was standing on was in between two buildings, an alley whose exit was obstructed by the light of day rushing in.
<This is where I died, huh? Talk about a shithole.>
A quick check-up showed that his body was in good condition, though the absence of clothing would quickly become a problem if he went about his way like that. Breaking through the nearest wall to him, he managed to find himself into a sports equipment store. Shrieks of fear resounded through the shop, with customers showing both fear and respect when confronted with the naked blue man. It didn’t take much longer for them to rush out of the establishment, allowing the Heran to grab clothes. Luckily, he found a matching pair of pants and a tracksuit, both red with two blue lines on both exterior sides of the pants, as well as the sleeves, with the logo of the famous brand Badidas emblazoned on them. With this, he’d be able to get around without causing much of a ruckus.
OOC: The man returns in brand new gear.
