PL: 120,000 Ki Setting to PL 100 Spending a day in a quiet lonely island of the southern tropics wasn't a bad idea, it allows a saiyan hybrid to clear his mind from that horrible mess in Central City. He wanted to get away from that noisy civilization for a little while and train alone for a time before his mind is ready to tackle city-wide problems again. The boy is meditating out in a patch of grass by his lonesome, trying his darndest to cast away those toxic thoughts of not living up to the world's expectations of a hero and questioning his own prowess to handle such large scale threats. Everything the president's robot cat told him was still a lot to process for someone coming from a world of the ordinary. He doubt he would ever go back to that lifestyle of being a self-proclaimed robin hood for the poor, not after what he has been told and being put through the wringer. Can he really be strong enough to take on the mantle of earth's protector in case the heroic powerhouses are killed in the foreseeable future? Can he do this? A calm deep breath escaped his throat and nostrils, allowing the breeze to cool his face. He turned out everything else allowing bristling leaves calm his nerves with a soothing sound and water can be heard around the landscape or from the river Although being entirely alone on an island is virtually impossible as animals from different spectrums of their habitat approached the half-breed with the assumption he could be harmless. a bison-dinosaur creature sniffed Russ and his dried sandpaper tongue licked the side of his face, breaking his concentration. He noticed all of them are standing there in front of him, some of them are curious about the presence of man and what he might do. "Huh? Hey what are all of you-! Ugh! Gross! Yuck!" he laughed and trying to lean his had back from his face soaking in saliva but it was no use. He placed a gentle hand on the creature's nose and stroke it gently and then nuzzling the beast prompting it to wag his tail. A loud gurgling sound coming from his torso brought his attention, completely forgetting about the animals around him. indicating it is time to replenish mandatory nutrients. "Uh oh, time to fuel up the gas tank" said to no one, he should've brought in snacks but there should be plenty of natural food in an island. Russ got up and wandered into the forest to find some edible fruit, inspecting some of the trees that appears to harvest the tasty food, a coconut tree he is searching for to be exact. Soon he found said tree and kicked its branch with minimal strength, all of the coconuts fell and he only needed one for now. He picked up a coconut and karate chopped it open, revealing a white liquid substance and pieces of fruit. The boy chugged the innards of the fruit inside his mouth and savoring every moment, there was no rush to devour such delicacies as resources are prone to be scarce here, its a reminder he has taken life for granted and how spoiled his life in the city is compared to what the animals have to fight for every day. Deciding to change his mind, he scooped up a second coconut and cracked it up just like before. He would drink and eat the contents inside, however, a strong energy signature spiked up his senses powerful enough to snap his head in her direction.. "Amara?..What's she doing here?" recognizing her energy, he dropped the coconut and took off flying to investigate her presence.

Thread PL: 200,000 | Items: Blood Ruby Pendant, Battle Armor, Scouter
A storm was coming.
Both... in a metaphorical way, and a physical way. The skies may have been clear, the sun is surely shining, but the rippling oddities in the waves and the swaying of tropical trees told a different story. Whether it would turn out to be simply a light rain or a torrential hurricane was yet to be known. Amara didn't really plan on staying here long enough to find out either way. She was just taking a break after her duel with Tarch. That particular encounter had unnerved her - continues to unnerve her. For the first time in a long time, Amara had felt a pang of sadness and regret when encountering him. So ashamed was she, that the Saiyan purposefully omitted information about her affiliation with the Stargoons. What was wrong with her? Stupid... petty emotions, worthless sentimentality. Her heart longed for the days of old - where she was an ignorant nobody. "No." Was her response. There was no going back, no rose-tinted lens, the past was in the past and the present was now. Getting caught up, slowed down by such useless thinking would only hasten her demise.
A particular energy signature spiked the woman's senses, her eyes closing as she heaved a sigh of resignation. Even in a weakened state, she recognized it as Russ. Of all people and at all times, why was he here on a remote string of islands? "..." She hadn't done anything of note since before the fight at Tenka'ichi, so it wasn't liable that he was here to track her down. As unfortunate as it seemed, this appeared to be a coincidental meeting. Ki lacing her voice, Amara floated up into the air - easily visible - and shouted towards the source of the oncoming power. "Stop. Turn around, and leave. You have that chance Russ. Not many people could claim the same." It was her one act of mercy, his single opportunity to quit while he was ahead. If he didn't... she would not hesitate to beat him senseless and force him to leave. It wasn't like he could stand up to her either, even if he took the form of a Great Ape. He was one of the few Saiyans she knew not capable of going gold. And while his base power level was now beyond hers when she first transformed... what was there to trigger it?

PL: 120,000 Ki setting to PL: 100 He flew across the vast horizon and noticing the weather beginning a minimal shift, winds are blowing harder than usual and birds are flying around in V formation in the clear skies, is a storm coming? That would explain why the water outside the island is swirling around in potency, the gods are truly kind to him today arent they. He didn't bother to bring a jacket because he assumed it wasn't going to be enough damper his hair and clothes should it rain. Better luck next time they always say. His quest in search of the yellow stargoon paid off as the woman flew up in the sky to..greet him in her own special way before he could land, in a lot of ways this half-expected encounter saved him a lot of trouble of looking for her and also worrying about the incoming storm. Her power level is indeed stronger than the last time he sensed it, it reminded him of the kind of power that other saiyan in Central City and Vocado weild. Logically he should be frightened as he would not stand a chance against her in any form, his achievement of learning power ball allowed him to maintain confidence in a fight, but without the ability to transform into a super saiyan he is unsure if that technique will be enough to make her flinch. "I didn't say anything and you're already telling me to scram, how rude" he responded in a chill manner as usual, if he doesn't then his enemies will discover he is always afraid of being within range of a superior opponent. "I didn't expect to see you on this island of all places. Are you training by your lonesome too? You've improved your strength since Central City" swaying tail. no harm in engaging in small talk before thier inevitable battle.

"A bold one, aren't you," Amara noted dryly, tone not betraying any emotion as she watched Russ approach despite her warnings. "I'm sure your good friends already warned you not to play with fire... and Russ, this is an inferno. I could kill you in the blink of an eye, do you understand?" Her aura crackled dangerously, but the Stargoon had not yet turned Super Saiyan. His seemingly indifferent cadence wasn't helping his case either. Was he... mocking her? "I'm not training," She sneered. "What I'm doing here is none of your business, as I said before." The wind howled accordingly, waves crashing against the rocks below in a much more violent manner as the inevitable rainfall came closer. If the duo stayed on this island much longer, they'd soon find themselves at the epicenter of a natural deluge much larger than they could have anticipated... "Though seeing as you already denied my generous offer, I suppose it wouldn't be too unfitting to dole out proper retribution."
Lazily, Amara formed an orb of white-gold Ki upon her right index fingertip, holding it above her head for a moment. "Maybe this will help you get the message better, boy." With a flick the attack was sent his way. it wouldn't hurt too much, as the main goal of the attack was simply to push the Saiyan back away from island. If he either dodged, blocked, or came back she'd sneer: "What, that not enough for you? Want me to start getting serious, do you? Even with power ball and great ape you couldn't hope to stand a chance. Do you understand now, Russ? Keep this up and I will hurt you. Horribly, if that's what it takes." Summarily after she opened her palm to blast a slightly more powerful energy wave at the opposing Saiyan.

Amara assumed his friends warned him many times to not play with fire and no doubt she can kill the man in a fraction of a second if she desires. "Yeah..my friends are overprotective for some reason but what can I say I'm a glutton for punishment" rubbing his neck and then shrugged his shoulders. He doesn't understand why everyone treats him like a little kid that always need protection, sure he isn't among the super saiyan level powerhouses like most other warriors but he isn't so helpless he couldn't defend himself. The Stargoon wasn't keen on spilling the beans of her intentions on this island and her response is not unexpected, they are technically supposed to be adversaries and most likely she would rather blast him to smithereens or at least drive him off the island.
Russ continued to pry despite her wishes. "Well I doubt you are here to roast marshmallows at a campfire nor play with the dinosaurs, let me guess did I interrupt your brooding time? Something must've happened to you recently, you don't just get stronger doing nothing" making educated guesses on her motivation. at the same time throwing quips in her way.
The first ki blast didn't pack a lot of power and thus he swiped it away, he listened to her taunting claiming he doesn't stand a chance against her even with a power ball and great ape combination, stuff he has heard his adversaries say before numerous times whenever they wield great power. "You're only saying that because you can go super saiyan and I couldn't, without that form you will be just like me" he's become used to being around golden-haired saiyans and their equivalents from other species, he's become desensitized at this point.
Amara fired a slightly more powerful blast to make a second attempt of driving him away and again Russ refused to budge, this time swerving his body to dodge the second blast. "Hmph so much for small talk but you know what? This is perfect!" his saiyan blood boils within him itching for a life-threatening battle in a fitting setting like this. An excitable smile appeared on his face. "I want you to fight me, your power is comparable to Vocado on the day he died, no doubt he is going to come back to life one day and cause more trouble for the world and Cress is still on the loose out there, I have to be ready for them if they strike again" confessing his intentions. The Vocado Squad are all dangerous people if left unchecked, based on the stories Leo told him of Vocado and seeing Scallio and Kalabas in action, this is a matter of life and death.
Russ lifted his arms and spread out his legs, shaping his posture into a battle stance, his smile unwavering. "You outmatch me in every category, but If I fight you here and now, then fighting both of those saiyans will be less of a..terrifying experience for me, what do ya say hero of Gemini?" remembering the good deeds this woman has done.

"Only?" Amara responded incredulously. "Yes you daft bastard of course I'd say that. Why? BECAUSE ITS TRUE!" With a temporary surge of power, the Stargoon entered Super Saiyan to launch a much more powerful blast at Russe - one that he would be hard pressed to block or dodge, and upon impact would send the younger hybrid spiraling into the ground below. "And guess what. Even if you had the form too, your base power level makes it meaningless. You could scratch me, at best." She wouldn't be 'like him'. Their base powers war still eons apart, and if this battle happened to be an Oozaru fight in an alternate universe... she'd have still claimed victory rather easily. It almost annoyed her how nonchalant this boy was about playing with his life. A snap of her fingers and he'd be dust on the solar winds, but still he persisted. Both of her blasts prior to her Super Saiyan empowered one were rendered null, but that was only the tip of the iceberg. Amara had many more tricks hidden up her sleeves in-case Russ wanted to keep up this little game of his.
"You want to use me as a TRAINING SIMULATION!?" Her rage nearly snapped right then and there, along with Russ' neck in the process. The sheer ignorant arrogance of him was staggering to such a degree that she genuinely couldn't even fathom what words to say in response for a few moments. Her aura sparked dangerously as Amara prepared to run Russ down and throttle him until his face was as blue as his hair. "Hero? That fiasco ended the way it did because it benefited me and the Stargoons. If the people there regard me or my allies as such, then all the worse for them down the line when they see such Heroes cutting swathes of destruction in their wake." With nary more a word Amara launched herself towards Russ, still in base form for now, and delivering a rapid onslaught of kicks and punches laced with energy. This was not testing the water nor a simple attack. Amara was starting to amp up her power usage more and more, and soon Russ would find himself overwhelmed if he too had nothing to back himself up with. "How long do you think you can last before I pulverize you!?"

It seems his retort wasn't received well, it boosted her trash-talking ego enough for her to demonstrate the power of a Super Saiyan. Compared to the last two "warning shots" this one destroyed his confidence for a moment, gone was that cheeky demeanor and in its place was a mask of surprise. There was no way to block or dodge the attack with finesse as the projectile is laced with velocity. It left a scorched mark on Russ's clothes so much that the impact knocked the half-breed down to green pasters below. Many tree branches withered and crumbled under his might, serving their purpose to lessen the blow of his fall. It was all for nothing when the toughness of his skin is too durable to be affected by the support of nature, soon immense pain tingles through the body as Russ slammed the ground and created a crater in the shape of his figure. Russ winced and painfully sit up and rubbed his neck "Owww..she hits harder than Dion.." and he wasn't lying, her base power surpassed those of himself and his self-proclaimed "big bro" from the last time they trained, and given her mean streak of an attitude, he's lucky he wasn't killed.
It's peculiar she is holding back against him at all in the first place, wouldn't she want to dispose of him as soon as possible? For someone apart of the so-called ruthless and irredeemable stargoons, she is being the opposite of those claims. He stood up from the ground just in time to endure more of her taunting, claiming his Super Saiyan form will be meaningless from the shortcomings of his weaker base form. Her words hold some merit as he is indeed below her league, that frustrating weakness is behind the creation of power ball, to allow little guys like Russ to catch up to powerhouses like Amara.
Russ once again put on a face of defiance and bravery and that will only get him so far, at some point he has to accept he is afraid at the uncertainty of the outcome from ignoring the warnings of a villain, and he's well aware of it. "If that is what you believe then fine, I'll have to overcompensate my shortcomings" embracing himself for a fight of his life. His cheeky grin died as she raged at the idea for being used as a training partner, and now the situation is going to get worse for him, what the hell did he do to piss her off that much? Russ blinked twice and sweatdropped, not sure what to do with her overblown reaction "..Is that a yes?" he gulped..oh boy..
He waited for Amara to fly straight for him like a bullet reaching its target and he place his arms up to guard his face. For a little while the tactic worked,he was flying backwards trying to minimize the damages from her gradual increase of power, eventually, his arms would suffer too much painf or them to be any good of defence and he was taking shots to the chest and face. Grunts and groans are all he could muster right now, she certainly DOES hit harder than Dion and this wasn't ever her full power.
Having enough he quickly created a power ball in hand and then squeezed the newly crafted sphere to absorb the blutz waves in his body, boosting his offensive power level to surpass that of Amara's base level of strength. He caught one of her fists and retaliated with a blutz wave coated energy punch at her jaw, attempting to knock his aggressor away across the horizon. If successful he would flow with a chase and deliver his own flurry onslaught of punching and kicking trying to run her down just like she did to him.
"Is that so? Regardless, I'm never gonna forget your actions on what you did for those people, in fact, my only experience with the stargoons is solely with you as I don't know much about the others. I gotta say based on what I've seen of you so far, you aren't so bad after all lady, its why I feel so lax around you. Ever since the day you held me hostage on Mt Frappe, I wasn't sure what to think about you, but now I sense a change happening for you right now and you don't even know it." it was the most sincere he has said so far without clowning around with jokes. Whatever kind of person she will turn out to be will be interesting going forward.

It would be a lie to say Amara felt no pleasure or satisfaction as Russ tanked her energy wave head-on, powerless to stop it as he spiraled into the ground below in a glorious sequence of tree-snapping and crater-creating. "And that was only the warm up!!" The woman shouted threateningly at the boy below. She could've easily ended the fight by now, but this was better. He needed to learn a lesson firsthand, to wipe that cocky smile off his face. Who the Hell did he think he was!? "Are you sure you can keep going!?" Afterward followed her barrage of attacks, several of which impacting into Russ hard enough to leave bruises and welts. He was seemingly powerless to stop it, when all of a sudden a bright glowing orb of light blinded her for a split second. Realizing what it was a smidgen too late, Amara grunted in surprise as Russe delivered a solid retaliatory blow to her face.
While surprised the attack hadn't left quite the mark the hybrid probably hoped, Amara catching herself midair and growling as her armor sparked to life. Seemingly out of nowhere, the Saiyan's offensive and defensive capabilities increased in tandem. This was no longer a laughing matter - one serious, good hit in from Amara could easily crush Russ if didn't have a plan. "Fine, you bust out your toys and I'll bust out mine!" A single power ball was powerless to stop her even now. That punch he delivered would still sting now, but her defenses had shored up enough to where Russ would need to expend a significant amount of energy just to do some real damage. Just as Russ arrived to try and turn the tables, he'd find the Stargoon fully ready for his attack - blocking or dodging his own barrage with slightly more effort than she'd been showing before.
He started spewing more garbage about her actions on Gemini, hilariously enough trying to twist it into a 'positive' light to attribute some semblance of good to her. What a waste of breath. Normally this would be her turn to berserk and deny his claims, but honestly... "You know what, Russ?" Amara growled, hostility still clear on her voice. "You're right. We do good things sometimes. We aren't pure evil monsters from the depths of Hell. That's what makes us mortal, after all. Yet still... no matter what you believe, what you see, I am telling you that our primary goal is attaining evil and chaos." She smirked slightly, a dry laugh even bubbling up from her throat. "So go on, tell me how I can 'change for the better', how you believe in me. Keep prattling on in that naive fashion of yours you feel so attached to... because, in the end, it won't change a damn thing right here, right now. I've been toying with you, though that should've been obvious based on the fact that you aren't a smear in the ground."
With a roar, a shockwave of golden electricity would ripple from her body in an attempt to blow Russ away from her entirely, the Saiyan crossing her arms and sneering. "Yet now I'm just getting annoyed but this whole song and dance. So guess what? Since I'm so incredibly generous, I'm giving you one - genuine - last chance to leave. And Russ, think before you speak. If you decided to stay here and fight me..." Her eyes closed, words trailing off for a moment. "I will kill you." On cue, the rain whipped up around the island as the distant roar of thunder stretched out across the open ocean. The storm was upon them, and any minute it would come down full force. This was Russ' last chance... to escape with his life, or risk certain death fighting her on this nowhere island. All he had to do was make a choice.

It is incredibly hard for him to not relish the moment of decking his opponent on the face with a clean right hook, and you know what? it was great! All that time of looking down on the man like an insignificant insect was going to come back to bite her eventually. Just when it feels like things are starting to turn around for Russ amidst the violence, karma will bounce right back at him. It couldn't have simply sided with the hero right to the end and that's a fool's dream even for Russ. Amara deployed her armor she was showing off at Central City and now his barrage of physical attacks is not landing a single hit. He knew why it's happening, her overall power increased exponentially and he can't do a damn thing about it in his current form, but still, he has to keep trying!
Amara admitted her and the stargoons do good sometimes and they aren't pure monsters from the underworld was all he needed to hear and it brought him a silver lining of hope, it paints a possible picture of what Amara could've been if she wasn't driven to villainy. Another smile returned "So what Yogu said about the Stargoons being irredeemable monsters is a load of crap, I'm not surprised" no way in hell did he want to believe it's true, people aren't normally born evil and people *can* change for the better, it's all about choice, it always has been. Amara reinstated their job description and then challenged him to tell her how can she become a better person and though to her it doesn't change their current situation, it's very tempting to suggest a number of things she can do to turn a new leaf, but will it go in one ear and out the other? Most likely it will, based on what she said.
A shockwave launched the young man a long distance away from Amara, Russ landed on the ground and gazed upon her in a powered-up state in awe, it is way more powerful than what he experienced in Central City. She is absolutely right to believe his power ball won't save him now that he's gotten a better examination of her power without the excess adrenaline. Amara is offering him one more chance to escape this island and if he continued this battle, she is going to snuff out his life.
The storm finally came and it rained down on both fighters, the tension is rising tremendously and time is of the essence, he has to make a decision. "..." a sense of reluctance to retreat hang over his head, inner thoughts fighting in his mind over his desire to live and fight another day or give in to his saiyan nature and carelessly perish in a fruitless battle.
Even if he chose the former his legs don't want to move, they are busy trembling and the feeling gradually extended to his clenched fists. He didn't have anything to say to distract himself from this feeling of dread this time. A frown of hesitance is all he can do as his mind is calculating various scenarios for this fight, he isn't so much afraid of Amara's strength in her armor as he can counter and possibly surpass it in great ape form, the problem is that he has nothing to counter against a super saiyan. How the hell can he stand up against that? He can try to turn into the golden form himself but can he do it? It's the only way to save his life. What does he need to do to obtain that form?
Russ closed his eyes and took a deep breath and then opened them along with a brave smile, finally making his decision. "I've always wanted to take another crack at that armor of yours, no thanks to that other guy" if he is going down, he will go down a saiyan! Russ's eyes glowed red and he transformed into the mighty Ozzaru, a dark blue monkey who resembles other great apes aside from the difference in fur color and the top of his head retains his hairstyle to a degree.
He attempted to swat at Amara with a powerful back fist "I can tell you a number of ways to better yourself as a person, but It's something you have to want for yourself" the ape spoke revealing he has full control of the form. Believing her change has to come naturally.
Russ has accepted the DE! The thread will now be closed until further notice Russ also has become a Great Ape with Oozaru Mastery! PL: 840,000/600,000 KP 3/3 (+1)

"Mostly everything Yogu says is a crockpot of shit in the first place. Though he had a point, to an extent. We didn't start evil, and we don't necessarily have to stay evil..." She paused for a moment, craning her head. "Yet trying to make any sort of change towards 'good' is improbable. I, at least, have accepted my lot in life. I'm the rebellious villain striking out against the order of life itself, and to that end, I must be evil. Hence, there will be those that stop me in the name of what they believe in. I may wholeheartedly disagree with a naive notion of morality or justice, but I can at least admire their tenacity and dedication to a cause." Stupid, sanctimonious fools they were. "In the end, I don't want to change. I'd rather spend an eternity of agony writhing in Hellfire before I ever bend my knee to 'justice'."
They exchanged blows, Amara coming out on top no doubt because of her refined technology. Any semblance of Victory Russ had attained was dashed in an instant as he careened back towards the island. That was when she delivered her ultimatum, waiting in silence as sheets of rain crashed down around them. Palm trees whipped in the stirring wind, sand billowing up in clouds of dust as the island fell under siege. This was Russ' last chance to save his own life. His attitude and cadence would only carry him so far before Amara grew tired of it, and that breaking point was rapidly approaching. He did eventually make his choice... "You're dumber than I initially thought. Is that bravery or just plain ignorance fueling such a decision?" A flash of gold surrounded her as the woman entered Super Saiyan. It wasn't her maximum power by any stretch of the imagination, but such an extreme wasn't needed to swat a horsefly like Russ.
She stared, unimpressed at the form of the Great Ape before her. Even transformed like this his power was inconsequential. "His name is Ochra if you were wondering..." She commented idly, awaiting Russ to move first. "I actually fought him in single combat at Yunzabit not too long ago." And that was when she had been weaker than now! Taking the backhand with grace, Amara tumbled from the sky and into the sea. While the attack looked effective, the actual results were far less impressive. Hardly scuffed by the Oozaru's initial attack, the Stargoon burst from the ocean in a blaze of golden energy - soaring straight for Russ and aiming to deliver a single, overpowering punch straight to his chest and hopefully topple him. She was still adamant on eventually ending this fool's life, but for now there was no harm in playing with her food.

Smacking around Amara was a relatively simple feat, the blow was potent enough to send the stargoon woman right in the vast body of water. Though he would've grinned or gain some satisfaction from knocking her down a peg but he felt it was TOO easy and he knew why. She became a super saiyan prior his attack to either save her own skin or to toy with him knowing he stood no chance. Did she allow him to score a hit to give him a false sense of security? That arrogant fiend, he expected her to show some honesty in this one-sided battle, oh well.
Russ waited for her to come out of the water to go for another round, in a few seconds his chest felt an enormous amount of pain so much he could've sworn his heart stopped, it wasn't an energy blast that caused the unpleasantries, it was a simple punch and it was all she needed to bring him down. Soon his back tilted and toppled backward a loud thud slammed the ground smashing trees and creating a much larger crator, very reminiscent of the first time he was knocked down by such a blow. Due to his massive size, the impact of his fall released kinetic energy and shook the island resembling an earthquake. Regardless the giant furry Russ will keep fighting, he picked himself off the ground and red eyes stare directly at Amara's puny eyes. Russ fired a Root Cannon from his mouth at Amara, half expecting her to tank or dodge it, he will conduct a speech regardless of outcome. "You'd rather spend in eternity in HellFire of agony writing? That doesn't sound melodramatic" he replied with a hint of sass. She embraced her role as a rebellious villain and claimed to have accepted her lot in life and she must be evil and that trying to make a change towards something good is impossible.
"It's not improbable to change into something good, that requires a lot of work and dedication to the cause, just like it takes a lot of commitment to being a villain. There is always a choice, nobody can force you to do bad or good" He continued. "Labels and expectations from society cant dictate who you are unless you care about that stuff too much, though I'm sure you and the rest of the stargoons have amassed a huge villainous rep for yourselves, I'd imagine its hard to break from that status quo even if you wanted to, but what do I know I'm just a generic citizen of earth" Russ has never been a famous guy nor someone society pays attention to very often as he isn't too different from the average joe, it may explain why he doesn't concern himself with what people think about him during his attempts at heroism, why care about what the world thinks if such reputation doesn't exist?
"In any case it's a shame you chose a path of villainy, I can see potential in you if Gemini was any indication, I suppose our subsequent encounters will involve the ol classic good guy vs bad guy routine, but actions speak louder than words and the future is uncertain, who knows where you'll end up going forward" he decided to no longer try to convince her to indulge in heroism and self-sacrifice, rather it's best to let her experience her ongoing change naturally as it is quite unfinished.
Amara then revealed the name of that other saiyan to be Ochra, someone she defeated in Yunzabit not too long ago "Really? He seemed to be stronger than you the last time I felt his power and it looks like you caught up to him, impressive" Russ said as he attempted to swing at Amara once again with consecutive punches. It is almost jarring for Russ to still want a casual conversation in a fight that's going to kill him. For some reason he even didnt bother to wonder if that other guy was alive or not after fighting this stargoon, perhaps he is confident on his ability to survive and trusting his gut it won't be the last time they will meet.

The bigger they are the harder they fall. Her single blow was all it took to fell the might Oozaru before her, the giant ape crashing into the dirt below with a satisfying thud. Hauling himself back to his feet, it was clear Russ wasn't done quite yet - and from his maw came a turquoise beam of energy. It was pathetic in comparison to her, hardly capable of even chipping some of the magic paint off her suit. Yet perhaps she'd humor his continued struggle a bit. Amara held her hand out, a small 'glove' of yellow Ki forming on her hand as the Root Cannon collided with her, the single palm absorbing the wave in its' entirety. Clenching her fist together, the remaining golden energy was crunched into an orb, which she held idly as the monkey spoke. "Well with how much you've been bugging me recently, it's safe to say I learned my melodrama from the best."
The hybrid still seemed to insist that things could change... if she wanted them to. "That's the keyword there. 'Want'. Like I said before I don't want to like in a just world or society. I don't want to live my life where everyone else around me dictates what I can and cannot do. Where those weak insects claim dominance over the strong because of 'law'. They screech and cry and prattle about us destroying their societies and carefully constructed social facades - yet it is acceptable to impose said restrictions on others without their consent? To deny it is to be labeled a deviant, a monster! These faceless masses don't get to control me. And the Shinjin who made this damnable zoo of a galaxy don't get to, either. I refuse to play their little game." She realized she was rambling just a bit when her focus should be tuned on destroying him, but such a feat was so easy the Saiyan didn't mind exchanging words for while longer.
"Would you rather all us Villains lay down our arms and submit to rule of law? Where everyone can live 'peaceful' lives in systems filled with corruption, deceit, and underhanded villainy? Where freedom is a mere illusion hoisted upon you as a pretense by your leaders!? I wish to create a world of the truly free, damnit! A world in which all people are fueled by conviction to their beliefs and can secure it by the merit of their own strength! Not one where millions and billions of souls trudge through the same exploitative system simply because it's considered 'just'." Fed up, the Stargoon released her waiting energy ball towards the Oozaru in an explosive move of anger. It had been weakened by Root Cannon's own power, yet was still more than strong enough to cause serious damage to Russ if he couldn't stop it.

Crimson eyes slanted narrowly at the end result Unsurprisingly his attack did not do a damn thing to her, he watched his projectile swallowed into the palm of her hand and effortlessly compressed into a golden orb of light. Damnit..she really is way beyond his league, what was he thinking firing a shot like that? A waste of expendable energy..at this point he will have to preserve his remaining energy on surviving this battle and pray to the kamis for a miracle to happen. "I have a knack for that" throwing a quip against her accusations of pestering and learning from "his" melodrama.
Russ idly slammed his gigantic tail on the ground for no particular reason. "Our recent encounters weren't unwarranted, you held me against my will and then you protected me from Scallio, it was bound to get my attention. Besides I have questions for you and I also want to test your recent rise in energy level, that way I'm killing two birds with one stone" revealing another motive on why he seeks the yellow stargoon even if most of those meetings happened by chance or coincidence. She also attacked him first while trying to scare him off the island, may as well take advantage of the situation.
Amara once against expressed why she doesn't want to change, sharing her distaste of being told what to do and that people she perceived as weak have authority over the strong, she found it infuriating people are complaining villains are destroying their still and yet it's okay for them to impose lawful restrictions without consent. If villains were to oppose their restrictions they are labeled as a deviant or a monster, and she declared to the hybrid she will not be controlled by anyone, not even the shinjin who created this galaxy. "...." she asked him if villains should lay down their arms and submit to law and order, under this illusion of freedom brought to everyone through corruption, deceit and underhanded villainy from a flawed government system. Her answer to her problems is to create a world where everyone can experience total freedom, people can get what they want through their own strength if they are convicted in their beliefs and not where millions and millions of souls can operate under the same broken system for the sake of peace.
To that Russ will say.."Thats...that's absurd!" he disagreed with her plan with no hesitation. "A world with no law and order will not sustain itself in the long run, its total chaos and anarchy. No one can be trusted with that kind of freedom, society will collapse very fast from everyone killing each other relentlessly over disagreements, pride and lack of self-control. I know the current system is garbage sometimes but we place restrictions on ourselves for a reason" he can't imagine how long a planet will inhabit life before it goes to hell and explode.
Russ witnessed her fired her energy wave trying to make a monkey shish-kabab and the heroic thief came prepared, protecting himself with a green ki barrier to minimize the damage. "I'm not a cop so it's not my place to say if villains should submit to rule of law as I don't enforce the law. Not that it matters since you lot just do whatever the hell you want anyway. Honestly breaking earth laws is inconsequential due to ki manipulation users like us are too powerful to be contained in a prison cell, the only punishable offense is death but I'm not the murderous type" having realized this cold fact from what Leo told him and his recent visit to the otherworld, but that doesn't mean he will take a life.
"That being said you've made up your mind and so be it, all I care about at this point is to get myself strong enough to defend my home, right now I'm fighting to survive and protect my friends as Vocado's resurrection is imminent" reaffirming his decision to allow Amara's moral struggles to resolve itself.
The humongous blue ape is aware his energy supply hit rock bottom, he knows its suicide to attack the super saiyan head-on and it's useless to run away to save his skin, better stall for time until he can regain his energy. "I want to know something, why did you do it? Why did you kill Scallio?" he asked while his eyes focused on the woman in front of him.
Russ used [B1] Dollar Sign to protect himself! 198,000 (33% of DEF PL) is used to block PL damage from 722,800, making it 524,800, however barrier breaks and he is within 60% of 524,000 cutting bleedthrough damage in half to 262,400 total. giving him 43% in damage

"Maybe Earthlings will tear each other apart because they've been coddled their whole lives, but there's plenty of living evidence to prove that statement wrong. You know, groups like the Stargoons? And even if you wish to exclude us for being an example, take a look at some of the larger criminal syndicates. Places like Knutts are technically in total 'anarchy' yet run fine. Why? People respect each other for their strength and skill, not because a law told them to. Just because an idea opposes your pressure idea of 'normality' doesn't mean its wrong, boy. I mean just look! You instantly denied even considering such a possibility despite functioning examples existing. On the surface, people like you allow dissident to society, but truly you wish to quash anything you see as radical or different." There would always be those who wished for total and complete chaos rather than the oxymoronically structured anarchy Amara envisioned. Yet those were the minority, and the majority of people who sought to stabilize a sort of order based on respect rather than an authoritarian rule would never allow it to crumble.
"Even death loses its' bite once you discover it isn't permanent. A major inconvenience to be sure, but from what I heard training in the afterlife only makes you stronger," There was no punishment that could properly berate villains of her status, aside from instant soul recycling. Yet even that was based on small chance, and the stronger one's will was the more impossible that option became. A truly determined Villain could never truly be put down, even if the goodies abused the Dragon Balls to defy death itself to revive their own. "I can at least hold a modicum of respect for those who fight to protect what they hold valuable. Not in the name of justice or rule of law, but because they're taking their destiny and molding it. So congratulations, Russ! You've earned a slightly swifter death." Though even then she whimsically fired off a series of explosive golden orbs at the Oozaru. The power difference between the two would ensure such attacks would hurt despite the lack of energy behind them.
"Why does it matter to you?" Amara replied indifferently. Did he think bringing Scallio up would unnerve her? Not this time. Not like with Ochra. "Shouldn't you be rejoicing that I killed him to save the poor, poor blue people on Gemini? Rejoice! Rejoice! For the beast is slain and now the insects can go back to happily buzzing about their daily lives." Russ didn't need to be privy to such personal motivations anyway. "Besides, I've got a question for you. Since you seemed so convinced that a world without law would result in only destruction, you must then believe that people are born evil. Right? If they weren't, then such a world surely wouldn't deteriorate as you say it will." Evil was most often the byproduct of hatred and resentment mixed into one. Past experiences and prejudices tested a person's will, and it either made them beyond virtuous or lose all virtue they once had. Did people really need threats and words on paper to tell them how to live properly? Was it the law that kept so many evil people in check? Somehow, Amara doubted it.

"I've never gone to Knutts my whole life so I don't know how their society works. If the inhabitants there are content in their position and they can survive for centuries then good for them" it hasn't crossed his mind to visit another planet since Gemini but it does harbor some intriguing value to learn more about a different style of culture in another world, maybe this "free" world would be plausible if the planet's inhabitants at least share some common sense to not blow things up. "I'm denying it because I'm skeptical" and with good reason from his experience.
"I get the stargoons and numerous crime syndicates respect the strength and skill of one another as each group are coordinated and share a common goal, I assume members of either group will maintain that level of respect as long as they can pull their own weight for the cause." obviously they would have to be open-minded and accept there will be shortcomings between members in terms of skill set but if they want to succeed at their goals they have to allow their skills to flourish without being judgemental.
He continued while keeping his guard up for any tricks Amara might have up her sleeve "There is a difference between organized criminal groups with similar interests and the rest of the world, there are millions of civilians who still can't fly, shoot lasers and lift entire buildings to this day. People will fear the strong because some nutjob out there will one day blow a gasket and destroy their homes or even a whole planet without a second thought and the ones who lack strength won't be able to stop them. There will be no respect from anyone unless you convince a whole nation to agree with your want of a free world somehow, and gaining trust isn't easy"
He is grateful to learn how to nullify blast damage, he can live with suffering small burns and skinned knees as it would've been hurt much much worse. His calm expression shifted into a frowning one, narrowing eyes darted at Amara to drive home his next point. "I am one of those people, do you know what it's like to feel powerless? That no matter the amount of training you did you couldn't make a difference? That's how I felt when Kalabas tried to blow up the Earth...I told myself I have nothing to worry about as my friends and comrades are around to take care of that problem and they did, but you and I both know we could've died that day. I realize warriors with the strength of gods can still fall in battle, I didn't expect Nashua of all people to be killed yet here we are, I guess that's what I get for putting too much stock on someone. But in the end that was a wake-up call for me and I'll have to bust my ass even harder to ensure it never happens again!" his tone gradually build up passive aggression. He clenched a fist while making a feeble attempt to boost his resolve and went into a tangent, it looks like Amara's melodramatic speech has rubbed off on him!
"I'm aware death isn't permanent...I'm still trying to process everything.." it's mind-boggling such a world exist after death, goes without saying that phrase rest in peace is thrown out the window. Amara says she respects those who fight to protect what they hold dear and not out of following the rules or justice and that Russ is rewarded for a semi-faster death.
"I'm jumping for joy.." he replied sarcastically embracing the incoming energy projectiles, he put his arms up to protect his face in a cross formation, all of the blasts feel like they can melt through his fur and flesh and somehow they didn't. Her reply about Scallio was a predicted one, why would she want to tell him the reason for his demise? "Oh no doubt I'm grateful you saved the planet..but I couldn't help wondering if he could've been spared, I requested for the president to spare Auber's life after my battle with him was over and maybe he could've done the same for Scallio if I asked" the idea of those planet-endangering battles he participated having a different outcome will forever remain a mystery.
Not wanting to be target practice the giant ape scooped up a broken tree trunk from the ground and threw it at Amara, he doubt it would cause significant damage but he had to improve. Her question was a though-provoking dagger and that requires an equally sharp thought-provoking answer. Russ shook his head "I don't believe people are born evil but this problem goes beyond good and evil, most people solve everything with violence and some of them have explosive tempers to an uncontrollable degree or an extremely unstable side of them, combine that with ki manipulation being common practice and that will lead to destructive results if left unchecked. This happened with Kalabas, Cress, Scallio, Vocado and now Yogu and he was supposed to be representing the good guys, both sides of the moral spectrum are guilty of this. that's the reason why I feel your free world will have a short life span in the long term if people like them are cutting loose as they please" he concluded.
