Cin was possibly one of the worst navigators in history. He had been searching for one of the big cities over the course of two weeks, but could never seem to actually reach one. Any time someone pointed him in the direction of one, he always seemed to get lost and wander off in another direction. Growing up in a temple where one never traveled could do that to a man, eliminate any natural sense of direction they had. This seemed to be his case, as he currently found himself wandering through a dry desert approaching what he believed to be West City. A few miles back, another traveler told him the city might be this direction, he sure as hell hoped so...
The further he traveled, the more he would begin to notice the distant shadow of not a city, but a small town. Most of the buildings seemed to be made of wood, and nothing but sand and gravel made up it's streets. Cin would approach the entrance of the place, a large wooden arch constructed from several logs. A sign at the very top would read "Shanghai Gulch" the apparent name of the town. Several men stood by the arch, all dressed in old-western fashion with six-shooters at their hips, one even held the reigns of a horse. The placed looked like it was straight out of a movie set. The former monk would let out an exaggerated whistle as he passed under the arch and eyed the place. "This place looks interesting..." His head would turn to a large building with multiple energy signatures inside, some sort of bar.
Shouts and grunts could be heard from the outside, and before he could even approach the place, a man would be thrown out the front door and into the street! By the looks of it a serious bar fight was going on, and while he usually wouldn't join in such a petty fight, it looked pretty intense. "Heh, looks like they're having fun." He'd mutter before approaching the front door.
