As Derry positioned each rock, this more aggressive Yanwang broke through every single piece with ease. As he went on complaining about how simply breaking rocks into pieces was boring to him, Derry was shocked at just how powerful the ogre really was. For Derry to break those same rocks, he would have to focus and identify a weak spot within the stone itself, but Yanwang was able to break it without even trying or thinking. A sense of dread slowly begins to take over Derry as the ogre looks towards him and challenges him to a fight unless he could think of something else. If this man was able to break through rock without effort, how could Derry possibly match up to him? But as Derry looked around his current surroundings, all that was nearby was a couple of trees, which Yanwang would easily break as well. A sudden headache encroaches Derry's mind and a quiet voice in the back of his skull rings out, 'Make him regret crossing you.' "Quiet..." Derry quietly whispers to himself. "I can't... not like before... calm... calm" Derry takes several long, heavy breaths through his nose, and proceeds to take his sunglasses off. Upon stowing away the shades in his pocket, Derry's eyes open up, but instead of his normal brown eyes, they're instead filled with pink flames. "Fine then," Derry finally acknowledges Yanwang, "I do suppose that I am stronger than an average rock, not to toot my own horn. Do keep in mind that we're merely sparring. I'm not looking to acquire too many bruises today. With that said, I'll let you have the first move, Yanwang." Derry then firmly plants his right foot firmly in the ground in front of him and raises his arms up to his chest, ready to guard against whatever the ogre was about to throw at him.

Yanwang punched the air a few times as Derrick seemed ready to fight. That was perfect he would burn off some steam. Yanwang watched as Derrick's power seemed to increase. Though Yanwang could not sense the Ki he just assumed it increased since his eyes seemed a bit different. He seemed confident that he was pretty strong. But 'Yanwang' was way stronger. He was going to beat this guy down. "Heh alright, yeah I won't hurt you too badly." Yanwang was pretty sure that he was going to hurt him pretty well. He now had a lot of hesitation but it been a long time since he just fought someone. It seemed like the only thing that helped with any form of stress was fighting. Yanwang took in a deep breath. He was going to take down Derrick right now! Yanwang launched right at Derrick with great speed. Yanwang then leaped right above Derrick as ki surrounded his right leg. He swung down to literally kick Derrick right on the head and knock him into the ground. "Can you take that or is that too much!" Yanwang said with some hesitation and some glee. He was really mixed right now.

The red ogre came charging at Derry as he prepared to defend himself from the incoming assault. With breakneck speeds, Yanwang suddenly leaps up into the air while infusing his right leg with what appeared to be ki. It was clear at this point that Yanwang was intent on landing a kick on top of Derry, likely aiming for the head. With the amount of time he had, he couldn't completely avoid the attack, so he had to focus on minimalizing damage. He begins by backing up while raising up his arms in a guard stance, fully prepared to receive the kick. The key here was to keep his guard somewhat flexible, and move with the kick to reduce the force of the blow instead of remaining completely rigid. The leg clashes with Derry's forearms, and a sudden surge of pain courses throughout Derry's arms. He grunts at the sudden pain caused by such a powerful strike as small droplets of sweat already begin to appear on his forehead. Derry might've broken his arms had he stayed rigid, but because he let the kick push him down a bit, the impact wasn't nearly as devastating as it would've been. It was clear from their first interaction that Yanwang was certainly more physically capable, so Derry had to rely on fighting smarter than harder, and maybe even fighting faster than his opponent could react. After Yanwang finishes his kick, Derry immediately follows up by feinting a right hook, only to instead lift his left leg and attempt to land a blow against Yanwang's head instead. Should he be quick enough, the reprisal can succeed, but now it became a matter of how fast this ogre was, and how much punishment he could take. "My turn," Derry mutters as he begins his counterattack.

Yanwang was surprised as Derrick seemed to react to the kick. But he seemed slow. "Boring..." Yanwang hissed. He was hoping that Derrick would be stronger but guess this was what he was going to get. He had become so strong that this could not be enjoyable. Yanwang watched as Derrick seemed to be throwing a right hook. He went to dodge but then he saw the leg move. Yanwang stopped moving and let the kick him dead on. The kick caused Yanwang bounced across the ground for a few feet back. Yanwang got up just fine with a flip a grin on his face. "Ok, I just wanted to see if your speed was the same as your power. And it seems so." Yanwang cracked his neck. "Right now I was looking for something to hit but your so much weaker than me. I could barely feel that." He put his hand to his face. "But that is ok I was not looking for an even fight per se just a stress reliever!" Yanwang launched off the ground moving at his forms full speed. He aimed to slam his fist right into Derrick's gut and grin at him. "I hope you got some fancy trick waiting in the wings if not I might really hurt you."

Derry successfully landed his attack directed at Yanwang's face, but even though the attack launched the ogre back a few feet, he appeared to be mostly unfazed. Yanwang then talked about the significant difference between the two of them, only for Derry to reply, "Yeah, I guessed as much. No matter, if I can't fight harder, then I'll just have to fight smarter." It was then that the ogre charged at him, and Derry responded by raising his arms, still stinging from the previous blow delivered. Instead of leaping into the air, however, Yanwang opted to land a gut punch. Derry couldn't easily back out of this attack, so he had to come up with a different plan. He begins charging two small fireballs in his hands and aims them at the ground beneath him. The moment the punch landed in Derry's gut and took the wind out of him, the fireballs were released, and the force generated from the twin blasts launched Derry backwards a few feet. He lands on his right knee, and remains in that position for a few seconds while he was catching his breath. It felt as if his stomach was on fire, and not because of Derry's own flames. "Nice... shot," Derry mutters under his exasperated breath as he began to rise up and onto his two shaky feet. For the first part of the fight, he's been playing defense and committing to counter play, but how well would the ogre do on the defensive? The gangster dashes forward as soon as he collects himself, and before he reaches Yanwang, he drops down to the floor and begins to swing his legs directed at the ogre's feet. "Best stay on your feet," Derry shouts as he executes his attack. Should he be fast enough, Derry could sweep Yanwang off of his feet, allowing him to press the advantage. Afterwards, he'll get back up as soon as he can and stomp down on the ogre.

Yanwang charged forward his fist slamming into Derrick's gut. But Derrick fired off a burst of fire that was used by Derrick to launch out of danger. The flames also did burn Yanwang but they really didn't do any damage. Yanwang stepped forward through the flames his eyes glancing at Derrick as he held his stomach. He could see the pain that Derrick was feeling. It must have been painful to be hit by such strong shots. He must have had a massive advantage in power. He would normally stop but right now he was really just fighting off what he felt deep down. How he liked fighting cause it got rid of stress and he didn't have to think of anything bad. Derrick didn't see to want to back down as Derrick attack sweeping Yanwang right off his feet "Hmm." He spun and was knocked down. He watched as Derrick's foot came down to stomp on him. But Yanwang Fujin Bag opened up. A blast of fire similar to the one Derrick used flew from the bag and aimed to slam into Derrick and knock him away so Yanwang could get up and dust himself off. This was starting to get boring he might need to finish him off.

As Derry succeeded in sweeping his opponent off of his feet, he got a little bit excited. Now the ogre was in a prime spot for some stomping! Before Derry could slam down on Yanwang's chest, however, that same bag that was glowing earlier shot out some sort of fireball directly at Derry's own chest. It looks almost like one of Derry's own fireballs, pink flames and all. Derry wasn't prepared for such a counter attack, and he took a direct hit from the fireball, sending him several feet backwards. The gangster landed on his knees and prepared some extra flames within his palms. "Neat trick ya got right there," the gangster mutters as he stands back up, "but you'll have to do better than that." Even when Derry gets the jump on Yanwang, the ogre was always fast enough to avoid his follow-ups, or he would even be able to just tank each hit and brush it off like it was nothing. It appears as if Derry had to prepare some contingency plans if he wants to be able to gain as much of an advantage as possible. He began by raising his right hand and firing off several pink fireballs as both harassment and to act as a distraction. If he was able to close the distance, he will attempt another sweep at his feet. Should it work, Derry's next plan was to shoot more fireballs instead of attempting a stomp to switch things up. However, if the ogre anticipated the sweep itself and jumped above him, shooting off more fireballs wouldn't exactly hurt.

Yanwang looked up as the fireball slammed into Derrick and knocked him away. Yanwang flipped to his feet and cracked his neck. Derrick seemed to still not know the situation as he wanted him to do better than that? So he wanted him to throw an actually strong attack? Yanwang grinned a bit. "Are you sure?" Yanwang grinned a bit. Yanwang watched as the pink fireballs flew towards him but Yanwang was ready. Black energy swirled around his arms as he swatted the fireballs to the side. Even with the energy around his arm, it burned. While he was focused on that Derrick got in close and swept him off his feet again. He fired more fireballs down as he was falling but Yanwang raised his arms to block as they came down. Yanwang landed on his back before ki surged around his body as he flew towards Derrick. He went to first headbutt Derrick then bring his arms around to slam into Derrick's jaw and if that worked he'd bring his arms brought over again and slammed them down on Derrick's head. Whatever happened Yanwang leaped away and turned to look and see what had happened to Derrick after that serious barrage. There was no way Derrick would take that!

Derry was honestly surprised the fact that the sweep landed once again, but he had no time to celebrate as he continued his barrage of fireballs at Yanwang. Suddenly, the ogre sprang back up from the ground and launched himself directly towards the gangster, clashing heads in the process. A surge of pain echoes throughout Derry's skull as he was temporarily disoriented from the headbutt, leaving him little time to defends himself against the ogre's incoming onslaught. Yanwang lands a heavy blow directed at Derry's jaw, and almost immediately afterwards, the ogre swings his hands downwards and slams directly onto Derry's skull. The gangster immediately collapses to the floor, and lies down on the ground for a good couple of seconds. Eventually, Derry's eyes opened up, but now they've gone back to their normal, boring brown color instead of the pink flames. Apparently, Derry's own body has accepted defeat, for no matter what Derry did, it was finally clear to him that he was outmatched. He could plan as far ahead as he possibly could, and yet the sheer difference between their speed and power was too great. "Ow," Derry muttered under his breath while attempting to get back up on his two legs, "Alright, I admit defeat. Gah, really should've kept my mouth shut, huh." With one hand, the gangster pulled his sunglasses out of his pocket and placed them back onto his head while the other hand was used to rub the top of his head. "Well, this certainly isn't your first rodeo, huh."

Yanwang's head slammed down with full force as his other blows landed right on slamming the Gangster down into the ground. Yanwang landed and raised his fists back for another attack. But Derrick was down and for a bit, he didn't seem to be moving. Yanwang shook his head. "Oh..no are you ok!" Yanwang looked fearfully. Did he really hurt Derrick. He really lost control for a bit but seeing Derrick just laying there made him snap back to focus. But Derrick was ok as he got up, his hair changed colors. Guess he had used some transformation in the fight but he really had not noticed. Derrick quickly admitted defeat as he seemed to realize the gap in power. "No, I am sorry. That was really bad for me. I realy lost control I could of really hurt you!" Yanwang called out ran over to check on Derrick. Not that he knew how much to heal people but he wanted to make sure he didn't have any broken bone or something. When Derrick asked his question he nodded. "I've fought a lot. Even super saiyans. I have been training for a long time to get this strong. I want to be able to protect my friends...but...they seem to come and go." Yanwang sat down sadly thinking how his friends seemed to die or disspear and each time he did nothing to stop it.
Yanwang is back in control same form but no longer blood thristy.

After Derry rolls his head around and hears a couple of tiny pops from his neck, the still transformed Yanwang approaches the gangster and questions if he's alright. He raises his eyebrow, noting that beforehand the ogre was all about fighting and 'being awesome,' but not seems more like his usual self, or at least when he was a little gremlin. "Well, the concern is appreciated, but I think I'll live," the gangster joked while rubbing the top of his head. Yanwang was certainly able to pack a serious punch alright. The ogre kept on apologizing, however, and insists that he lost control while the two were duking it out with each other. Perhaps Derry's theory about the ogre possessing multiple personalities might not be true, although it was certainly interesting to think about. "Oh, I could tell you were really into it," the gangster responds while looking into his pockets for the box of cigarettes, "that happen often?" Of course, Derry wasn't exactly a stranger to losing himself in the middle of a fight, although it was usually due to... different reasons, not to mention that once Derry was done with his episode, wherever he was fighting was typically burnt to the ground.
The ogre later responds to Derry's inquiry about his fighting experience, stating that he's fought plenty of strong fighters here and there and that he does all of this in order to better protect his friends. If there was anything the two would agree on, it would be protection of the ones they care about. Yanwang has his friends, and Derry's got the Dirty Snakes. "Yeah, that goes for me as well. I've got my 'family' back in Central to worry 'bout, but you already knew that." Derry was, of course, talking about their previous meeting in North City before they were so rudely interrupted by that bio-android. "So, I suppose we share some common ground."

Yanwang frowned as he looked over Derry. He said he'd be ok and he'd not die or anything but that still really scared Yanwang. What if he went too far agiasnt someone that was not as tough as Derry. He really needed to be careful. When he noted he was pretty into it Yanwang nodded punching the air. "I really was. Maybe I am just very stressed?" That was Yanwang's best guess. Maybe he just was focused on getting stronger he didn't consider the mental aspects. He had grown so strong that the training that he used to do did nothing to burn out the energy he had. Maybe that was it or it was something else? Yanwang was not sure but he knew he needed to figure this all out if he ever wanted to control his strength and learn to control his ki. Yanwang nodded as Derry revealed that he got strong for a similar reason. He had people to protect and he had to be strong enough to do that. "Yeah maybe we can train then sometime again once I learn to keep my power on better control. I can help you protect your friend and you can help me protect mine." That seemed to be a mutually beneficial partnership.

From the looks of it, the ogre still has concerns regarding Derry's current health. There certainly was a bit of a sore at the back of his head and his arms specifically ache from the attacks that he blocked, but otherwise, the gangster thought he was fine. Soon, however, Yanwang responds to Derry's question regarding the whole control issue, claiming that it was likely that he was stressed. "Well, that makes two, then," Derry replies as he finally finds the pack of cigarettes in his pocket and pulls out a single stick. He sticks it in his mouth and snaps his fingers, creating a small pink flame at the tip of his finger. He lights the cigarette, and proceeds to take a couple of puffs as the ogre talks about sparring at a later date and proposing a mutual relationship where both protect the other's allies. The gangster takes the cigarette out of his mouth and replies, "Ah, that would certainly be useful. 'Course, I wouldn't wanna rely on you as a crutch. I myself have to get stronger, after all. Say, what are your folks like, anyway?" Learning more about the friends of such a powerful fighter could give Derry the chance to gain more and more ties with similarly powerful fighters. In the case that it's just some regular old family, however, it would still be useful information to carry around in... certain events.

It seems that Derrick was on the same page as him they could work together to get even stronger. It has been a long time since Yanwang had anyone that was even close to strong enough to put up some sort of challenge. Without a challenge during a spar, there was no way he would be able to get anywhere! So this was perfect that he finally found someone that he could fight. "This is really awesome." Yawnang cheered and walked over to Derry as he asked what his friend was like. Yanwang paused and rubbed his chin. "Well there is a lot of people and they're all sort of different people. There are Yogu, Nashi, Koban and all sorts of people I know a lot of people. I guess it is really hard to have just one friend when you're as awesome as me." Yanwang pointed to himself but in truth since he only said three names it got him worried. Most of those people were distant from him now or long dead. Were all the people he cared for slowly going to die long before he got to become so close to them. He didn't want that, he wanted them to live for a long time just like him! It was so unfair.

It appears as if Yanwang was quite satisfied with Derry's acceptance. Having such a powerful ally at his side couldn't hurt, after all. Afterwards, the ogre talked about three individuals, whose names were Yogu, Nashi, and Koban. Only one of those names rang a bell, considering how hard it would be to not hear anything about Yogu. As for the other two, he'll have to get either Lucas or Wallace to research them. As for Yogu, he would most certainly prove to be a worthy asset to the Dirty Snakes, but then again, he's a bit of a goody two shoes. Perhaps if he could hold up a certain front to Yogu... "Ah, I think I've heard of Yogu before. Kinda hard not to know a single thing about him. Hell, he caused quite a ruckus back in Central a couple of months ago if I remember correctly." It was at this moment that Derry finally remembers why he came over to the ogre in the first place. He came here to figure out exactly where he was. He takes his cigarette out of his mouth and disintegrates it in the palm of his hand. The gangster asks Yanwang, "Oh yeah, speaking of which, I came over here originally to ask ya something. Where the hell even are we?" Derry never had any memory of winding up in this location. All he could remember was being exhausted after what happened at West City.
