"That will be 200 Zeni." The White haired man at the counter which currently holds a large wrapped object. The buyer gave a smile and handed him the money, which the white haired man then put in the cash register. "Thank you for your service." He told her with a practiced smile as he gave the buyer the check. She then gave her thanks as well as she picked up the wrapped item.
"Thanks Lionel." She told him, giving a wave as she began to walk out of the store.
Lionel simply replied with "No problem, take care of that thing," and with that the chat was over and he went back into the forge to continue working on other projects. As he did so his fake smile dropped and he proceeded to pull out a bar of metal out of the fire to start hammering away at it. It's been a long day, but he's damn thankful that its almost over. He's not exactly a well known shopkeeper, but then being a blacksmith/mechanic out in the outskirts of East City, its not really a surprise. Still he does at least get requests from farmers so he gets income on that front, they do tend to have to replace or get equipment repaired, and since he's in a portion of the midpoint between East city and the farms, he supposes that it makes sense that they'd come to him every now and then.
He glances over a large wrapped up object for but a moment, his unfortunately broken spacepod that is missing parts. When he arrived on earth he had to sell some of the ship parts in order to start up his shop, and now as a result it just sits there. He figures that he may one day be able to repair it, once he gets the funds to get the parts needed for it. Maybe he'll upgrade it one day into a larger ship, something to think about for the future he supposed. For now he just has to focus on his job and get paid plenty. He heard Planet Namek got blown up from some of his customers, but it may just be rumor for all he knows.
Lionel puts the hot piece of metal, which he hammered into a blade, into the water to cool it off. He then walked over to a monkey bar project that he got hired to work on for some school, not a project he thought he'd ever have to work on, but hey, surprises are gonna happen. He picked up one of his tools and got to smoothing out the bars, he'd started this project a month ago, and the reason it took that long was the planning stage. Right now he's on one of the final stages before it has to be brought to the playground its assigned to go to.
