Thread PL: 200,000
It had been a strange month or two for sure. Yogu had wrecked the hell out of Central City, came back to life, and then dropped off of the face of the planet. What had he been doing this whole time? The same thing he was doing before he had been disturbed by Amara. Sitting around in a ditch somewhere, hoping a truck would hit him. " Ya know, that's the problem with getting powerful and stuff, the truck'd get more damaged than me!" The young boy said to himself, raising from the piles of trash and dirt and various other gross things he had been laying in for... Well, he couldn't remember how long it had been. He also couldn't remember why he was getting up to begin with. His mind was in a total fog. All that he could think about was what Amara had said. How he was just some predictably pathetic child with nothing but misplaced rage and stupid ideas. Some gross leech that served no other purpose than to screw things up for Earth's protectors. ( Not sure those were the exact words, but...) Hell, by now, he had killed more big-time good guys than the worst of the worst. Then there was what happened at the mountain and on Gemini A. Both examples of situations that were pretty much taken care of, that Yogu had to step in and fuck up! Yogu looked up from the ground and realized he wasn't at the pile of trash he'd lived at for a while. He was in the middle of Central City. Looking towards the skyscrapers that nearly completely blocked his vision of the clear blue sky, he could see repair work being done on one of them. A massive hole punched through it. He could still feel the sensation of throwing Amara through that building in his hands if he concentrated enough. His eyes slowly moved back down towards the ground. Glancing at his hands for a moment, they were shaking. His fists clenched, the knuckles going bone white. As if the times when he killed Typha and Nashua weren't enough of unforgivable sins, as if his goading of Kayen on Gemini wasn't disrespectful and despicable enough for him to be considered the lowest of the low, he had pretty much attacked Central City. Kais know how much innocent life he put in danger. He could spend the rest of his life doing all he could to make up for all of that, and it wouldn't matter a bit. He'd still wake up every morning knowing he had caused all of this damage. All of this destruction. And he'd know some part of him, some tainted piece of him, reveled in that bloodshed. And that truth hurt him more than any condemnation to hell Yemma could give. Breaking from his ground-locked gaze, Yogu realized he had come to a stop in front of another one of the skyscrapers that helped blot out the sky. There, emblazoned just above the entrance, was the Crop Co. logo. Yogu let out a yawn, " Huh... That's weird. The hell did I come here for?" Well, didn't matter now. Not like he had anything to do. The boy supposed he should just shut up and let his legs take him wherever it was they wanted to go. So in he went, and wow, was it busy in there. Dudes in business suits were moving in every direction, some were yelling into phones, others yelling at other dudes in business suits, it was a total mess. How anyone could keep up with all this super important business stuff, Yogu had no clue. It was then that he realized just how much he stood out from all the suits. His clothes were dirty, his stench made the whole lobby reek, the bags under his eyes were bigger than the eyes themselves, and he was paler than he was as a ghost! But these intimidating business guys didn't seem to deter his legs from walking right up to the receptionist desk. He mumbled out, " Yo, I'm friends with Carro... Can I see him or was I supposed to book an appointment or somethin'?" Wait a minute... THAT'S what his plan was?! What a terrible idea! All that he could think back on was Amara's words again. This felt wrong, coming to Crop Co's HQ and looking for Carro. He'd already caused enough issues for Carro just by being near him. What, did he think the two of them would sit down, chat about how Yogu was feeling for a bit, and then everything would be fine? It was never that simple. It felt like at this point even if everything ended up being fine, after all, he had done, could he really become an actual ally to the earth again? Even if he got better, gained control, would the heroes of the earth even want him by their side? He had been staring in silence at the receptionist for some time now, lost in these thoughts.

THERAPY III: THE THIRD ONECARRO's PL: 100 (NOT YET PRESENT) || LEO's PL: 6,600,000 (x22P | INTIMIDATE | 200k BASE)
"You." An all-too familiar, yet hauntingly stern voice hissed from behind Yogu. If the imposing shadow and chilling power that came with the voice did not phase Yogu, a pair of narrowed, feline eyes blazing with ki and seemingly staring right into his soul may have been a bit more effective.
The feline stood tall and imposing as ever, her power on near-full display as she glared at the little human who'd worried her so much. The metal under her eyes was darker, tinged slightly purple. She was tired- how a machine like LEO could have bags under her eyes was just as mysterious as how a manmade construct shaped like a cat had organic ki. The feline's pupils had contracts into an intimidating pair of slits, fangs protruding from the frown on her face.
To say LEO had been worried sick was an understatement.
"You can talk to Carro after he is done resting." The mech stated in a monotone, lowering her piercing gaze. Was she mad? Disappointed? It was hard to discern what exactly was going through the feline's head from her seemingly blank tone. "First, you and I have some things we need to talk about." LEO raised her head again, gesturing for Yogu to follow her down a nearby hall. The hustle and bustle of workers seemed to halt in the now-empty corridor, with many deeming it wise to stay out of the feline's path today. For awhile, LEO remained silent.
"....Before I speak my mind." She spoke again after a moment. "Do you have anything you would like to say to me first?" LEO looked at the former ghost expectantly, but kept her casual pace down the hall...
LEO's [UT1] Life Link and [UT2] Soulbound are passively active, as well as Soulbound (x22P) [UT3] Ki Intimidate boosts her PL to a menacing bluff of 6,600,000 Carro himself is not currently present, but he will appear soon!

Yogu recognized that voice. It sent shivers down his spine. It was also pretty hard to ignore that massive energy behind him. Its presence was bigger than the city itself. Probably bigger than the planets'. Yogu thought about turning around to face LEO. But he could feel her gaze piercing straight through the back of his head. Like a million laser beams shooting through his skull. " Oh hey, kinda like the first time I died." It was kinda funny, how it was getting difficult for Yogu to think of violent ends that haven't already happened to him. Needless to say, turning around was an impossible task... " No. I can't act like some little turd anymore. I ain't gonna hide away from the consequences of what I've done!" Although it felt like every part of his body was being weighed down by million-ton weights, he takes a deep breath and faces LEO. His expression was, at first, that of stern determination. But it quickly transitions to shock and worry. Although he can't bring himself to meet her eyes, he can clearly see that LEO wasn't doing well. And he knew that it was because of him. That was an emotional gut punch he didn't see coming, " Shit... What the hell is LEO doing, worrying about me like that?" It was strange, how it felt like he never realized how much people care about him until he's already hurt them. Just like with his parents. Just like with Chime and Nashi and the rest of his friends. And now, with LEO and Carro. The worst part was how helpless he felt, looking at his friend. It was like he was a child and he couldn't tell if his parent was angry or disappointed. Carro wouldn't be showing up for a while it seems. Although he was now realizing how little of a rush he was in to see Carro, being alone with LEO seemed just as bad. Those eyes... He was sure if he had met eyes with LEO his heart would've stopped. Although all of this was true, he had no intention of backing down or running away. He'd done enough running away to last a lifetime now. It was time to grow up and understand actions have consequences. Even if today were to escalate to the point that LEO decides to vaporize Yogu until there wasn't even his soul left for what he'd done, he'd be okay with it. The worst part of this was the silence. The once-bustling building had become a complete ghost town. There wasn't a soul in sight. Every second felt like ten. Every step he took down the hall felt heavier than the last. It was like he was slowly losing a battle against the hall itself. It felt like it stretched on forever. Finally, LEO spoke. But her words just put Yogu back to where he was when he first stepped into the hall. Lost in thought, with a million different voices screaming out, trying to get his attention. The silence slowly crept back in after LEO asked her question. And just as that silence was starting to make itself comfortable again, Yogu cut straight through it much like LEO did. " I'm not running away." He answered. The words alone didn't feel like much, they were practically inconsequential. But the look in Yogu's eyes meant so much more. There was a fire there. One that hadn't been there in some time. Not since before the mountain, not since before his brief one-on-one with Vocado, not since before he'd become some ghost, a shadow of himself. Newfound willpower had seemed to manifest itself. He couldn't give up after making LEO worry like that. After making so, so many people worry. Well, Yogu said what he wanted to. He just had to hope that LEO liked his answer. For the first time since this encounter started, Yogu finally met LEO's eyes. Oh hey, his brain didn't explode.

CARRO's PL: 100 (NOT YET PRESENT) || LEO's PL: 1,800,000 (x9P | 200k BASE)
The overworked Plexroid continued to silently glare at Yogu during his inner turmoil as he rapidly shifted between determination, worry, and apprehension. Every time they had met under similar circumstances, she had again and again expressed her worry for the Earthling's wellbeing, and yet the message still hadn't drilled itself into Yogu's dense cranium. If the third time wasn't the charm, LEO wasn't sure what she'd do to help him.
Though the human silently averted her gaze for the majority of their walk, as they came to a stop in the silent corridor, Yogu finally spoke. LEO's brows remained furrowed. "...I suppose that is a decent enough start." She responded in the same monotone, though her expression softened slightly and her crushing power faded. Facing consequences was one thing, but amending them was another. LEO could only hope Yogu had enough bite to match his bark.
The tired-eyed feline yawned again, that ever-present exhaustion still clearly visible in her eyes and slightly slouched posture. "And you are sorry for your stunt with the Stargoon in our city and acknowledge that you should have known better?" She lowered her head, tail lashing behind her. Tough love was the name of the game now- LEO was painfully aware of what Yogu had done in his fight against Amara. She and Carro left town for one day for a business trip, chaos clearly took that chance to waltz in... Still, after what Yogu had been subject to and what he had been through, he of all people should have known the pain he was bringing and what bait he took.
Regardless of the resurrected human's response, LEO would continue with a tired sigh. "I am aware of the fact that you have... temperamental challenges, to put it lightly. But that is no excuse. You are one of the most powerful known beings in the galaxy, and that kind of power needs discipline and control." LEO began to lecture as she paced around Yogu, eyes still locked on and unblinking. "You have torn yourself apart with your strength more than once. You have died more than once." Though her voice was stern, clear worry and somberness was evident in LEO's tone now. To say that you had come back from death was both a blessing and one of the heaviest burdens. She and Carro had faced its cold call to the void before. To imagine facing that multiple times was haunting, especially when considering Yogu's youth and immaturity- and that wasn't even taking the feeling of emptiness and incompleteness being in a state of undeath brought with being a ghost or android.
"As I made clear before when we have spoken before, I am still willing to aid you in controlling your power and amending yourself. It will not be easy- perhaps even more arduous than even when we faced Vocado." Vocado, while a monster that brought nothing but trauma to LEO's friends, was simple. He was a big bad saiyan who wanted to eat planets and needed to be smacked in the face. This problem required much more work than punching something really hard. "But I cannot help you completely until you properly communicate what in the name of the Kais has been happening to you, both before and after your revival. We haven't heard a peep from you since the incident on the Geminis, and the next thing I know you've wreaked havoc in the city." Yogu had a lot of explaining to do. If his ways of 'coping' were anything like Carro's, then she'd have to worry much more about his emotional state somehow.
LEO drops down to (x9P) LIFE LINK and stops using [UT3] Ki Intimidate. Her PL is now 1,800,000

Well, LEO didn't blow Yogu up. That was a good sign. LEO's energy receded, and now Yogu finally felt like he could breathe. The hall didn't feel so endless anymore. LEO kept pushing, making sure that the consequences of the recently revived boy's actions were well known. Yogu tensed up, " I wouldn't be here now if I didn't know that. And I know sure as hell that it ain't fair to the rest of the world that I've been given so many chances to figure that out!" It made him sick to his stomach just thinking about it. The number of people that die every day and that's it for them, and meanwhile here was Yogu getting revived left and right, escaping the afterlife at every chance he gets. Getting what felt like endless second chances. The guilt was starting to crush him. Even now, being talking to LEO like this. He caused so much destruction, over absolutely nothing. He was no better than any horrible villain that had attacked the earth before. No better than Vocado, The Stargoons, or that guy that attacked Gemini- OH YEAH! Gemini! Another case of Yogu fucking up and getting off scot-free. Not to mention the cold-blooded murder of Nashua. And yet despite all of that, here he was. Still getting helped by the people he's let down again and again and again. " Ugh, I'm goin' in circles..." It was pretty damn clear to Yogu now just how much he'd been worrying LEO. But there was another thing the robocat mentioned. " One of the most powerful beings in the galaxy...? Shit, the planet I could believe, but the GALAXY?!" This didn't blow up his ego like it typically would, just put his actions into perspective a lot more. How despite his immense power he had what could only be described as childish control over his emotions and actions. Yogu supposed he was just a kid. He was always in over his head. And everyone with strength comparable to his was... Well, a lot more mature. Not that that was an excuse for the things he'd done. His responsibility needed to match his power. Exceed it even. LEO kept going, talking about how his recklessness has gotten him killed many times, how his lack of control tore himself apart with his ki. Yogu's immediate gut reaction was to start shouting about how he ' made the right move'. How he ' did what no one else had the guts to'. But he knew that wasn't true. Vocado was handled. Yogu's blinding rage at what the saiyan had done to Nashi... It dictated everything he did that day. No, it had complete control over him from the moment he found out Nashi had been killed. Yogu could only think about the many times he'd died now. He still had that fear with him, the fear that had gripped him back in satan city, he could still smell the smoke from the buildings that burned, he could still hear the screams of innocent people who had been going through an average day just a few minutes ago... And he could still feel the numbing sharpness of a ki beam going through his head. His mind drifted off to the next death, his eyes glazed over, he may have been standing there with LEO in that hall, but he felt like he was on another planet. Namek. That helpless feeling felt all too familiar. Monster had been in control since before he had even landed on the planet, and Yogu hadn't even known. A lot of what went on felt like a blur. But he did remember where the guilt and sadness began. The same guilt and sadness that would snowball Yogu all the way to where he was now. It was when he held a dead Typha in his arms. The whole time Monster was whooping and hollering, bragging to no one but Yogu and the corpse that once held the soul of a Konatsian prince. Yogu's mind just kept saying over and over, " You could've stopped this. This was your fault. He's dead and it's cause of you." And then from there... Well, he'd spent the past year reliving all of that again and again in his mind. Yogu snapped to when LEO said that helping him was going to be harder than fighting Vocado. Tears had started welling up in Yogu's eyes, " Tch, I wasn't scared of Vocado then, and I sure as hell know I'm tough enough to deal with this now. No matter what happens, I'm gonna fix what I've done! If I gotta die ten more times, trek through hell until I'm old and gray, I'll DO IT!" Yogu slams his fist into the wall, nearly putting a dent into it. " Like I said, I'm not running away LEO. No matter what." Yogu's friend had one last question for him. Just where the hell had he been all this time?! " Well... After Gemini I... Just came back to Earth. I thought it'd be better if I didn't make myself a problem for you and Carro, or anyone else anymore. That it was better to just disappear for a while. As a ghost, I just hid at the... Dump. I slept in piles of trash for a few months and just kinda... Drifted off. It was like having a long nap but you're conscious the whole time. Eventually, you just kinda stop thinkin'." Yogu's voice got shakier and shakier as he went on, " I-I almost didn't get up, when I saw what's her face- The Stargoon. But I did and... She just... I don't know, I just couldn't control myself and I know there's no excuse for it! I should've known better, I should've just listened to everyone else that was there, I played right into her h-hand and the entire city SUFFERS FOR IT!" Again with the tears, when was this all going to end? Yogu stopped, taking a few deep breaths. His voice was a lot lower now, and he spoke with a defeated, vacant tone. " After that I... Got revived. Bullshit... I didn't deserve this life. I ruined plenty of other people's lives, innocent people just trying to get through their day, and I'm rewarded with life. Now every waking moment of that life is spent thinking about those people I hurt." He looks down at his shaking hands. He doesn't look up again. " Why? Why are you helping me LEO? Why do I keep getting second chances? Why was I given a body after what I did? Why are the kais letting me get away with all this horrible shit?"
OOC: sorry for the wait!
